Fandom Avengers: Next Generation

Massacre grinned sadistically at the collection of insects gathering at the bridge, it appeared that the military had been brought in to help the heroes with keeping the city at bay. Massacre's... well, 'massacre' had become publicly known. It only made sense that the country was going to try and put him down. What appeared to be multiple tanks and a large collection of jeeps and trucks made their way down the road, which expectedly blocked off public access. Perhaps they'd contact the Avengers?Or, perhaps they'd try to take matters into their own hands. Neither made a difference, they would all fall.


(Permission to introduce a military general as part of a greater plot, in which the military may or may not try to bring the Avengers down, depending on future events?)

General Roland Royce





The large myriad of military personal frantically moved about the streets, the trucks and jeeps full of both men and weapons diverting to key points within the city, landmarks, banks, labs and areas of high populace primarily.


"Sir, the city is being secured as we speak, is there anything else you need doing?"


The General gazed at the curious eyes of the crowded civilians, a mixture of both relief and fear at the large presence of the military. He assumed the heroes did not yet know of his arrival, they were likely licking their own wounds from the previous conflict. The reason as to why he was here. "Find me more information on that Symbiote, our goal is to take it alive, to better understand how to combat it in the future. Something we should have done years ago." The General said, studying what little information they had on it.


"I'll do what I can Sir." The soldier said, walking away to carry out the orders he had been given.





Massacre


Massacre, not worried about their goal, casually traversed the rooftops, ignoring the military presence, they had no airborne threats as of yet. Building tops were currently his ally, but for now, he decided to get closer to the Avengers tower. Not too close as to be seen, but closer enough to see their relative activity.

 

[Reaper]

Dimitri spoke to raven. "I've been having nightmares, ever since this fight we had with a symbiote. I believe you were in the first one because I recognize your face and voice. Do you know anything about that."

 

[Lady Bee]

"I entered your dreams trying to wake you up, but other than that no" I say still preening my feathers and I fold that wing and open the other starting to preen that one

 

[Reaper]

"Well... I appreciate it. Did you see the girl that knocked me out?" He asked. He still wanted answers on what was happening to himself and possibly Cassie.

 

[Lady Bee]

"Yes, she actually tried to put me to sleep as well" finishes preening and look at Dimitri

"Raven then. Did anything about her stick out? Do you have any idea how we could find her?" He asked

Cassie went back to Kyu. "Her name is Raven," she said. "Or at least, that' sweat she calls herself." She looked at the boy. "Looks like a bad broken leg," she said softly. "I can bind it up for you."

 

[Lady Bee]

"No" my stomach growls "I must be hungry im going to go... hunting for something to eat"

 

[Reaper]

He blinked a few times. "Great. Well... Later." He turned back around to Cassie and shrugged. "Hey, this may sound like a dumb question but who is that on the couch?"

I dive out the window and spreading my wings as I do. I fly into a forest and land.

When the military started to enter the park Connor stood from the bench he was sat down at. Something is clearly going on. Now he'd wished he'd listened to his father and brought his shield, suddenly feeling naked without it. He bid farewell to both Rosaline and Kai before getting a cab to take him home. Connor considered texting some of the others to ask if they knew what was going on, but in the end decided against it. Though something was telling him he should, he also felt like he should confirm there was actually any danger before alarming anyone else. Besides they might already have noticed.


He left home with suit and shield, he'd seen a few other small groups of soldiers on the ride home. What could actually be going on that the military would get involved? He was now seriously re-considering his earlier idea of figuring this out on his own.

As the boy set down Ivory, Savage began listening in on his friends thoughts and quickly realized he was having a nightmare, he began to do everything he could to calm the boy down. He looked around and saw teens in strange outfits all around them, he considered trying to talk to them, but a whimper from Ivory changed his mind, he thought to him, "Don't worry bud, we're safe now, we're gonna get you help."

 

[Reaper]

Quicksilver zipped into the room and turned a nearby TV to the news. "The military is coming through the city because of that symbiote from earlier. Although their might be another reason we don't know about as to what they're preparing for."

 

[Lady Bee]

Ivory's eyes fluttered open, he saw Cassie standing over him and he smiled, "Man" he said groggily, "I must be in heaven"


"IVORY THANK GOD!" Savage spoke.


Ivory's eyes widened in horror, " Savage you're dead too?"


If he could, Savage would have face palmed, "Ivory, we're not dead"


Ivory leaned back, "Oh" he said. It took a couple of seconds but he finally realized where he was, the white walls, the tight space in the corner, he had to be in a hospital, he began hyperventilating, feeling like the walls were closing in, he attempted to jump up and leave, but found Savage had attached several tendrils to the wall to prevent him from moving.

Cassie rolled her eyes. "Great. Just what we need. A bunch of military snot-jobs that nose into everyone's business." She looked at Ivory and saw a tendril. "We have another symbiote here." She walked over to Ivory and sat down next to him, noticing he was having a nightmare. She reached out and put her hand on his back and began to rub it. "You'll be ok," she said softly. "You're safe here. No one will hurt you, I promise."

Cyrus looked over at the T.V. And sighed, "Well you know humans, they fear what they don't know." He turned his attention to Dmitri, "I have an Idea why don't we go on a scouting mission? With your speed and my ability to infiltrate almost anything, we could get all the information we need out of the military." Cyrus only came up with this idea because it had been 2 days since there was any real fighting all he did was upgrade his own molecular structure with the help of Tony Stark.

Ivory's eyes fluttered open, he saw Cassie standing over him and he smiled, "Man" he said groggily, "I must be in heaven"
"IVORY THANK GOD!" Savage spoke.
