Splicers is fun, but I would have to do a lot of work to come up with a plot line that would be more than a one time shot. Perhaps I can look into that for my good buddy Sherwood.

I'm with you on that, Psychie. I find the world fun, but for a brain like mine, somewhat limited. I do like the "Dune-like" atmosphere of having all of these Great Houses and The Machine with its many faces and personalities is something else.Splicers is fun, but I would have to do a lot of work to come up with a plot line that would be more than a one time shot. Thank you dearly, good lady, but don't you dare run another game without dropping one of your current games! Please! Especially for me. Longevity is a real thing in games. I'm hot for Other Strangeness because I am convinced I can get at least 5 years of great fun out of our game there! =)Thank you for understanding. And I do promise to look into the possibility for you. And of course our good friend Purr would be invited, too.
Psychie I feel the need to say that because you put your best effort into your games and gaming too many games is a real thing. It's a thing I try to avoid. How many invitations from the two of you have I had to decline in the past because I stick to my limit, right? =)Thank you dearly, good lady, but don't you dare run another game without dropping one of your current games! Yeah! As your friend, I just had to say it. You know me - I can't keep my mouth shut when I'm passionate about something. =)I get what you are saying. As I said, any other game of mine is a great distance in time from now.
Great to know. I am really enjoying the game so far, and I have plans to continue with more Splicers fun down the road. In any new game I’d open up the character classes to others I did not include here, like the Shellback Demolitions Specialist, and the Techno Jacker. I am curious to see how some of the other classes would do in game play.I would be up for any new Splicers or Other Strangeness game...but I understand the work it takes to run one of these. I would love to run something on here sometime I just have not found the game I want to run where I would have a good idea for. As soon as I do find that game you all will be the first to be invited.
It came out in an issue of the Rifter, then they added it to the back of the hardback copy of the core book. I did reprint all the swarm stuff in the Lore tab. What book is the Swarm Lord in?
That is similar to the Acid Seed Cannon, the acid only does like 1D4 SDC to organics...although I think the projectile still does 4D8 MDC of force...at least that is my understanding of how it would work, its designed to fight the machine. The one downside to the bugs is if you are running a game with House vs House combat. The bugs are conditioned to not attack people so they won’t ever become a threat to humanity.
Psychie Ask me questions, you'll get my honest mind on it! In case yours is a serious question, here's my answer:Of course I’m right; I’m a woman. Just ask Purr how that works around his house!
