Fantasy MoonSpell Academy For Supernaturals (Open!)

She laughed a little as she jerked back, amused. "No need to worry, it's fine." Turning around and righting her shirt, the blonde smiled even wider. "Hehe, I think this is the first time I've seen you smile." Solana clapped her hands together happily, glancing over at Laurence. "It's a shame he isn't up to enjoy it." Gazing at the comatose boy a little while longer, she turned back to Reagis. "Well, no time to dilly-dally, right? We'd better get going." It was a shame she couldn't enjoy the moment, but time was of the essence. There'd be more time to be friendly when they were safe and Laurence was okay.

@ResonantStorm

"...If you say so. And this surely isn't the first time you've seen me smile..." Reagis trailed off as he realised that this probably was, in fact, the first time she had seen him smile. "...I concede your point. Anyway, like you said, let's go." It was a shame they couldn't talk now, but there'd probably be some other time for that.

"Whatever you say.." She trailed off, chuckling. Already walking, her long hair swished behind her, yet another layer(aside from her shirt) to hide her wings. Laurence was beginning to get a little heavy, but it was expected as much, as he wasn't awake to do any moving of his own. Oh well, no time for whining, they were soon to find an exit anyhow. "Do you know any ways out?" Solana looked around as they walked through the hallways. "I didn't get much time to explore, I'm afraid." She smiled, a little regretfully.

@ResonantStorm

"Uh, no...? I always either took the main doors or went through the gardens, both of which will be guarded, most likely..." Reagis trailed of, waking in silence beside Solana, gaze fixed ahead, trying to pick out anything that looked even remotely like one of the gunmen they'd encountered. Fortunately, he couldn't see any. "Mhm... I never really looked around either," replied Reagis, half listening to Solana's comment.

"Gardens?" She sounded a little hopeful, then sighed. "Ah, those are probably burnt down already, given the condition of the nurse's office... It's a shame I didn't get to see them." Still, the angel walked onwards, taking no time to stop and muse over what could have been(after all, it was much more efficient to do so whilst walking). "Well, we should looked around for another exit.. Perhaps through the windows of a classroom?" She jiggled the door to one of the doors in the hallway, hoping that it wouldn't be locked. It wasn't. She waited for a response from Reagis, her gryphon chirping impatiently.

@ResonantStorm

The windows of a classroom? Well, okay. "That's a good idea. It's probably best just to get out of here by any means necessary now." Reagis tested the door, and, finding a peice of rubble preventing it from opening properly, threw himself at the door, throwing said door open, the rubble in front of it flying, and sending Reagis sprawling into a groaning heap on the ground. "I'm okay... ow..."

@katrash (Gonna get to sleep, I'll probably reply again in 7 hours or so.)

She laughed a little, despite his pain. "Don't you think that might've been a little reckless..?" Offering Reagis a hand, the angel bent down a little. "Not that it didn't work, of course." Her little gryphon scrambled right in, jumping over her warlock companion.

@ResonantStorm ((no prob uwu))

Taking Solana's outstretched hand, Reagis pulled himself up, with her help. "If it works, then it works." He frowned, rubbing the arm he'd used to break down the door. Raising the sleeve of said arm, Reagis noted that a bruise was forming on his upper arm. Oh well, bruises weren't that serious. He would live.

@katrash

"Whatever you say.." She noticed the bruise, but didn't mention it. Squeezing through the opening Reagis had made, the blonde slipped into the dark classroom. A peek through the window revealed the shadowy lawn of the school, wrapped in the blanket of night. She squinted, trying to see if there were any gunmen. Her glances provided nothing, but they never could be too careful.

Sliding the window up slowly and quietly, she looked back at her companion. "You good?"

@ResonantStorm

Carefully stepping around the desks and piles of rubble in the classroom, Reagis reached the window, peering outside, as Solana had done. He couldn't see anybody outside at all - no gunmen, and nobody friendly. "Well... it looks safe. Now or never, I guess. Ladies first." Reagis stepped back, holding the window open.

@katrash

She handed off Laurence before jumping out, landing with a little grunt. Now outside, Solana looked at Reagis, gesturing to him. "Come on, hand me Laurence."

Despite her mostly relaxed appearance, she was secretly hoping that their knocked-out friend was okay. All that manhandling and running around couldn't be good for someone with open wounds.. At least he was still breathing, right?

@ResonantStorm @Otakubeats

Taking a long peice of splintered wood and using it to prop the window open, Reagis carefully lifted Laurence, leaning out the window and (metaphorically) dropping him into Solana's arms, before clambering out over the window sill himself. After dropping into the soft grass, Reagis took hold of the window itself, and pushed the splintered wooden plank back into the room, gently closing the window to avoid causing any sound. Turning from the window, Reagis quietly spoke. "Do you know where the town is?"

@katrash @Otakubeats

The angel let out a small grunt as the boy was hefted into her arms, her reprieve from lugging him around being a short one. Watching him jump out and shut the window quietly, she listened as he spoke. "No.. But there's a road, isn't there?" They were relatively near the front of the school, the main road curling past the main gate, which had been wrenched open, presumably by the gunmen they were trying to escape.

The mysterious terrorists in question were patrolling the road, two stationed at the gate. Now that they were outside, it was much easier to see them. At least there weren't any in the trio's immediate vicinity... But the question still remained. "How are we going to get out?" The blonde spoke softly, not wanting to fight anymore than needed. Laurence was an extra burden, she really wished he was awake right now.

@ResonantStorm @Otakubeats

"We could try going through the forest... but then again, with Laurence..." Reagis considered the problem at hand. The forest wasn't a good option due to Laurence, but there were far too many gunmen for Reagis and Solana to take on at once, especially with Laurence. Out of the two options, the forest was probably the best way to get to the town. Running a critical eye over Solana, Reagis came to another decision. "You look exhausted. If you want, I can carry Laurence."

Suddenly Laurence vanished, and was sitting on the ground wincing a few feet away. "Ow..."

Much to Reagis' surprise, Laurence completely vanished from Solana's arms, re-appearing a few feet away from both if them. Reagis rushed over to the boy, concern written plainly on his features. "Are you okay?" He asked quietly, hands pulled back into his sleeves.

He grimaced. "Considering I have more holes than a piece of swiss cheese, no." Laurence gingerly extended his wing, sharply gasping in pain and pulling it back to rest against his shoulder blade.

"You're awake!" Solana grinned, running over to him. She'd completely forgotten about being quiet, filled with relief at seeing her friend awake and alive. "We gotta be careful though," She began to explain the situation. "We need a way to get out, is it possible for you to fight, Laurence?" The blonde sounded slightly concerned, but mostly hopeful.

"I mean, it hurts just to move, but I've dealt with worse situations.....I can manage." He nodded, remembering the fights he'd gotten into when he was a kid.

"Well..." She smiled, giving him a small pat on the back. "It's nice to see you awake, given the last time was when I knocked you out in sparring class.." The angel let out a short chuckle, turning to Reagis. "Are we ready to go? We might get in some fights, what with all these men crawling around.."

As if on cue, hearing their quiet chatter, one of the gunmen came walking towards them. Solana got in a defensive pose, still checking for her friends' reactions.

Laurence muttered some colorful profanity and vanished. He reappeared behind the guy, pressure pointing his neck. He fell unconcious and Laurence grabbed the gun.

Reagis started to protest - wouldn't it be far safer to go through the forest? - but fell silent as a gunman approached, only to be swiftly dispatched by Laurence. Well, now they were committed, he supposed. Rushing forwards, Reagis put a hand on the gun Laurence held. "Don't shoot. You'll attract all of them."

@Otakubeats @katrash

Solana winced at Laurence's cursing, watching as he and Reagis ran off to start fighting. She walked over to the two slowly, frowning. "I would help fight, using my aura and such... But the light would bring them all close.." Her fingers trembled a little, a nervous twitch. "As would my batons.." Now she was wishing they'd gone through the forest as well.. In all the angel's excitement(okay, maybe that wasn't the best word), she'd completely forgotten about the hard disadvantage she'd been placed at.

"Why don't we just sneak into the woods." He pocketed the pistol, turning the safety on.

"That's probably the safest thing to do," Reagis whispered, now acutely aware of the significant risk of noise. "Think you can make it, Laurence?" Reagis gazed at the silhouette of the tree line visible against the night sky, considering the best way to go about getting there.
