"Mhm..." Mumbled Reagis, distracted as he carefully stepped over another pile of rubble, doing his best to match Solana's pace. "How far is it to the nurse's office?" Reagis still thought he smelled smoke - in fact, he was pretty sure that the scent was stronger than it had been beforehand. Odd. It was probably just him smelling smoke from gunfire, as Solana had said. Nothing to worry about.

[Prismascope]

She'd squeak and turn around, wacking Kit's arm, tears in her eyes threatening to pour out. "That's not nice kit!"

 

[not here]

"Not too far, I think. I'm trying my best to remember." She furrowed her brows, striding over piles of plaster that had been shaken down from the ceiling and walls. "Forgive me, please, I've only been there once."

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

Kit shivered. "W-What are you talking about..? I didn't say that!" He said, trying to act his best. "Or maybe I did... But I swear... this is slowly becoming a horror movie... Oooh... You know what, maybe we're the first, like in the horror movies, we're just the first two. Then we'll be found and those friends of yours come to investigate our deaths... But get killed by him one by one... aaaand now I'm creeping myself out"


He stopped shivering and lit up the fire again, getting closer to Lottie. "C'mon, wouldn't want to hear someone that's not me say the words I did, now, would ya?" He started walking up ahead, occasionally looking behind at Lottie.

 

[Prismascope]

She'd mumble under her breath as she followed him, a strand of her hair changing black again. "What friends?"

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

Kit would perk up his ears, hearing her last word. "What about friends?" He asked. "I'm not one to talk about them, I haven't really made friends here, except for Ittoki... but even then, I haven't seen him since we were going to play basketball, and he burned your flowers..." He looked at her, a disappointed look on his face. "Your hair... it's having some dye malfunctions or something..? I don't know... I've never dyed mine... but it's going black, like it did back then..."

 

[Prismascope]

She'd catch up so they were elbow to elbow. "... You're my only friend I've had in a long time, those flowers weren't mine I just really like them and my hair is naturally pink... did you just say.. it has black in it?" She'd give him a startled look.

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

"It's going black..." Kit said. "Some of it just went black... must be the sewer water or something... Made it really dirty... I don't know..." Kit said, he remembered his own hair, it got wet when Lottie shaked to get the water off her. "Anyway... How far are we from the town now?" He kept walking calmly. "Maybe we passed it already..."

 

[Hercynia]

Reagis went quiet, unable to think of anything to say. He trusted Solana to find the nurse's office, and they were moving surprisingly quickly, so most likely it wouldn't be too long until they arrived.

She'd mumble softly. "There's another manhole we can check there..."

Within a minute or so, they arrived at the nurse's office, Solana letting out a breathy sigh of relief. She began to pry the door open, as it was stuck behind a pile of rubble, but stopped after a moment. Turning to Reagis slowly, a frown was apparent on her face. "What if the nurse isn't in there?"

"Yeah... let's do that..." Kit looked at her. "I don't know if I could stand 1 more minute in this place... It's not really my cup of tea, y'know..?" He sighed. "And it also doesn't look safe..."

 

[Hercynia]

"If she isn't, then we can come up with something else. There's no harm in checking if she's there though, is there?" The air smelled far more strongly of smoke, and felt hot, in Reagis' opinion - but he didn't voice these thoughts. Probably nothing. Possibly just exhaustion or something along the same lines playing chaos with his senses.

She'd roll her eyes and grab his hand, a tiny jolt going through her as she blushes before tugging him to the ladder near the manhole.

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

Kit blushed the brightest red he had ever blushed. "Ladies first" He exclaimed, as he passed his hand through his hair, which was surprisingly still a bit wet. I need to take a bath quick... There must be a hotel or something in the town... He'd look down at his clothes, there was a bit of water in them, and because of that, he'd glare at Lottie and bite his lower lip in anger.

 

[Prismascope]

She'd look at him and mumble softly. "What..."

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

"N-nothing... Forget about it..." Kit had gone nervous at her question. "It's really nothing..." Kit said, almost sweating, "Just, you know... go up..."

 

[Prismascope]

She'd frown and put a hand on this forehead. "No fever... Are you sure you're okay?"

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

He'd sigh, then smile. "Are you fine?" He asked her. "I find that more important, since the first place we're going to is a hospital. I'm not going to be happy until you get fixed up and that sounds so cheesy... Eh..." Hmm... I wonder why there was a gunfight at the school... I wonder where Aroki is exactly... Maybe she's in the edge of the forest... I'll go find her after I go with Lottie to the hospital...

 

[Prismascope]

She'd nod and climb up the ladder, opening the man hole and climbing out, waiting for Kit.

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

Kit climbed up, and the first order of business was to look around. "I can't be seen in public like this... I'm so ashamed of myself..." He looked at Lottie, biting his lip with anger again. You're so mean... You shaking wet all of my clothes... He groaned, almost as if he was in pain. "Welp.. I'll be going around looking for a hotel or something, I need to take a bath, urgently..."

 

[Prismascope]

She'd frown and point to the one behind her, it looked rather Greek like. She'd start to walk into some bushes, sitting there and pulling the bullet out of her ear.

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

Kit followed her instead of dashing to the hotel to take a bath. "What are you doing, exactly..? Doesn't that hurt..?" He asked, looking at her, as he yawned. "I'm really sleepy though..." He would yawn again, and his eyes started closing, but he jolted and they opened. Again, he did the same thing. It happened at least 3 times before she could say anything, it was almost like a signal. I'm so drowsy right now... I feel like falling asleep right here... Uh huh huh... I'm so done...

 

[Prismascope]

Lottie would sigh and hide her Neko parts, dragging Kit's heavy body through the hotel doors and to the desk.

 

[Cameron Onfroy RiP]

"That was the weirdest experience of my life... I could've walked it..." Kit said, massaging his temple and getting up, his legs all wobbly. "Seriously... all you accomplished was dirtying my pants..." He'd sigh. I still feel weird though... I still don't know if my feelings are genuine, and I feel like a kid all over again... This is so weird... Yeah... this isn't going to work out, I'll come to that conclusion since now... Its just better... I'll just stick in the friend zone... "So yeah, we'll just have 2 different rooms, till... Tomorrow night..? I don't know... a week?" Kit asked her, taking out his wallet. "It's all the same to me, really" He took one of his hands up to his head, as to take off a pair of headphones, but he remembered he left almost everything except his wallet and his collar.


I'm super sleepy and got to go find Aroki now... I'm totally going to end up sleeping in that forest.
