Fantasy Isle of Mist

May's face turns a rather bright shade of red. She struggles to speak clearly while also avoiding looking Raider in the eye. "Ah... well... Umm... I am no where near prepared to become a mother so soon... I mean... I haven't thought much about starting a family yet." May shrugs.

Raina was about to speak, but she sensed something odd in the forest. She holds up a hand towards Will to tell him to wait a moment. Her eyebrows pull together and she tries to listen closely to the sounds of the forest. She couldn't hear it but she knew something was off. "Somethien naa il- vee' ta anta a' be," she says, and then starts to walk towards the village where she senses the dark force.

Raider would only smile and nods. "That would be true. Your busy being the leader of the colonists, and I'm sure your work takes priority." He thinks about what it means to have family in the first place. His mother was really his only family at the time, and as for his father... that would be a difficult matter. "Now then, since we have to wait for the food to finish why not rest up for a bit? Maybe we could have a nice walk?" At times like these relaxation is the best medicine.

He would nod following her not noticing it until then but now that he had concentrated he could feel a dark presence lurking in the forest and he would say quietly "raina, manka ta i' kalkara lle must rima ar' warn i' gwaith. " @Crystal Cali

(Going to sleep soon. This festival should be fun tomorrow or today.)

May looks a little surprised by the suggestion, though she turns to her servants and instructs them to roast the boar thoroughly, takes off her apron, and then would walk over to Raider. "Sure, that sounds nice." she says, and would follow him when he leaves.

Raina simply nods as she slowly walks through the forest. Her senses were heightened beyond normal. She was aware of every movement around her.

Sepentireon was still feeding on the dreams of the elf. As he gorged on the body, the elf began to shake and stutter in his sleep, having a stroke. A few moments later, the elf stopped moving, and Sepentireon stared at the body calmly.

"No reason to waste such a thing."

He thought to himself as he grabbed the body by the leg and swallowed it whole through a mouth.

After a moment of digesting, Sepentireon began to move out but froze in place as it saw something in the forest. Dozens of eyes concentrated on the elf as Sepentireon stayed unmoving.

Will would put his hand on Rainas shoulder to stop her then pointing directly at the creature nodding quietly saying "eller. i' beast naa eller." his hand moving to the hilt of his blade "Run now." Whispering before moving quietly infront of her his cloak shrouding him in the darkness blending him into the brush @GreenEyedStranger @Crystal Cali

"Oh nothing just muttering" Davorin says trying to back up on what he said. The vampire would have to be alot more careful about what he muttered about. "Anyway my bouncing friend shall we go to the tavern" Davorin asked. "You really are looking forward to this festival aren't you?"

The countless eyes on Sepentireon all focused on Will, though the creature remained unmoving for a moment. It's tentacles began to stretch out into the ground in front of it, bracing to get ready to sprint towards the elf.

Raider would lead May through the more safer parts of the Isle. Preferably the nice fields where the breeze is fresh, and the air is clean. "It's nice to just walk isn't it?" He would say smiling at her as he leads her through the nice fields.

Though slightly offended that Will seemed to think she shouldn't fight the beast as well, Raina figures that staying would cause him more distress than it was worth. She turned and ran for the camp where she would lay low for a little while.

May walks close by Raider's side, admiring the scenery of their path. "Yes, it is good to stretch my legs once in a while," she answers with a smile.

At the tavern, the staff would be busy setting up extra tables, and arranging things for the feast later, though there were still a few customers trying to come in. Liz decides to finally come out of her cave, having a sudden craving for ale. When she sees the commotion at the tavern, she stops one of the workers to ask them what was going on. "A free feast for the entire isle, eh? Oh does the boy staying in the room I rented know about that?" she asks, concerned that she hadn't seen Killua since the airship battle, and wondering if he was doing well.

Raider nods and would walks forward towards a nice damp little cave. "You know I've never been in one of these little caves before. The last cave I've been in had this very nice waterfall. Would you like to venture on inside?" He would extend his hand out to her since he knows the caves can be very dark. Sometimes it's better if someone is close by just in case.

May reaches out to take Raider's hand, nodding in response to his question. "Sure," she smiles. "I have really never ventured too deep into a cave before. When we first landed on this isle, I did try to hide away from the pirates in the cave on the beach where they now live, though I very quickly got lost."

"I see. Well stay close then. I'll lead the way in," and leads her by the hand into the cave. He wasn't sure what to expect in a nice little cave, but he did hope for a nice waterfall like the cave he went to before. The least he could do for her is show her a nice sight on the Isle, and at the very least help set her mind at ease. If anything he had not done anything like this in a very long time. Memories tend to linger on, but it's not easy remembering even the most fondest of memories.

The floor of the cave would slope downward at a gentle angle for a while. Though it wasn't too steep, May would clutch tightly to Raider's arm to keep herself steady. Soon enough, the floor would even out, and the sound of water would come through. A short distance away, the cave opened up to reveal a stream in front of Raider and May, inside an area of the cave where the stone seemed to form steps leading up to a wall. A waterfall formed in the center of the wall, and flowed down each stone step that led to the stream. There was no stone above their heads once Raider and May made it out of the passage and onto the flat ground, and vines with lush leaves ran the length of the walls of this space.

"Oh, wow," May says quietly as she looked around in awe of the scene before her. "I never knew something like this was hidden so close to the village."

Raider would look in amazement as well as he found the scene to be very serene. "This is quite the location. It's all nice and serene in here, and I feel that I could relax here if I wanted." He then looked to May who clutched herself to his arm. "It's all so beautiful just like you," he would say smiling at her. It was a while since Raider felt at ease and happy in a combination. Just relaxing here with May seemed to have allowed to him to really be at ease here.

May blushes at Raider's comment. "A-ah. Yes. It is certainly beautiful and relaxing," she stammers, suddenly more hyper-aware that she was still clutching onto his arm, though she did not want to let go. Though her heart was beating rapidly, May felt comfortable and safe close to Raider. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath to try to calm her heart rate. It doesn't help very much. May looks back over to the waterfall, admiring the scene as she leans her head against Raider's shoulder, hardly aware she was doing so.

Raider smiles and nods as he looks to the waterfall as well. There was a certain scene of serenity to it that the other waterfall didn't have. Perhaps it was the lighting and the myriad of lush greenery around it. It would give off this nice rainforest look, and it would certainly make him feel relaxed. All the more he realized that May was leaning her head against his shoulder which sort of made him go pink a bit. Still he would find his composure, and would put his head near his should where it would touch May's head. He thought to himself for a bit, "How long has it been since I've had this closure?" Most of his life had really been about hunting, and helping out others with their situations. Ever since he had been sent to this Isle, he had been not only helping out the people, but getting to know the inhabitants. It was something he could appreciate well, and for the time being he would at least appreciate what life has given him right now.

May glances up at Raider, as best she could without pulling away from him, with a questioning look. She doesn't really say anything, given that she did not want to pressure him into talking if he didn't want to. Though, through his words, May got the feeling that Raider had lived a lonely life, something she could relate to since after her arrival on this isle, her only real friend had been Raina, and even before that her relationships with others had all been for someone's political benefit.

Raider would then take a moment to talk with May. He looks to her and says, "You know it's interesting. Ever since I've been on this Isle I've been meeting with all sorts of individuals. Getting to know them, helping them out it was nice. Of course I do this all the time as a Hunter, but this wasn't really for a job or anything. Now here I am getting ready to help prepare a festival. I'm honestly thankful that I found myself here on this Isle." There was a look of appreciation in his eyes, and he really did think of this place as his new home. He had never had a home since well his own childhood, so to have a new one was something he could appreciate.
