Fantasy The Lost Treasure of Creation

Eri Zabelan
Eri smiled, satisfied with the boys answer. He may be cocky but he does have a heart. Another sigh escaped her. "Well if none of us plan on using it as a violent weapon, I suggest after we find it, we hide it in a disclosed location. Forever." Eri emphasized her final word, hoping they would all be reminded of the last time it was out.

She was there in fact, Eri remembered the chaos it brang, and how hard the gaurdians of the artifact fought to get it back. There were many back then, but in these days there is rumor for only one to be left, searching for a trustworthy apprentice to take on and pass the duty to them. Closing her eyes Eri smiled. "That is all I wish. And since there are only three wishes, I would be glad to give them to you three." She said simply, yet truthfully. Air dragons are not particularly greedy or hostile creatures. And as she herself is known as a motherly figure, her children come before her. @Creekstar @Rin Nyx @Psychotic Dreams

Kokoro Himura

Location: Desert Tomb

With: Raiquen, Eri, Thomas

Kokoro tried to growl out a warning before the boy stepped on the wire, but it was too late. She crouched, about to pounce on the boy to at least knocked Raiquen out of the way, but Thomas was on it, pulling Raiquen from harm as arrows flew from the hidden trap. Keeping low to the ground, Kokoro waited for the last of the arrows to finish flying by overhead before finally sitting up again. Her large tiger form stood and moved over to one of the arrows, sniffing at it, before she shifted back into her human form, pulling herself up from all-fours so that she was at least sitting on her knees. "I'm fine, thank you for asking. Don't worry, the arrows weren't poisoned."

The tiger woman looked over at Eri. She was talking about giving them the three wishes. The term 'giving', it reminded Kokoro of Thomas in a way, using terms that seemed like they believed they had the right to give the wishes to whom they pleased. But, the tone in which Eri was using was not in the same tone that Thomas had been talking in earlier; Kokoro couldn't quite place it, though. With a sigh, the girl stated, "No matter where the treasure is, there will be those who seek to use it, just as we are. But, from my understanding, the treasure disappears after granting its wishes, I doubt we'd be able to hide it, even if we wanted to, if all three wishes are used." That was what had been passed along to her through legend, she wasn't sure exactly how true it was.

Lyla looked at Pansa and glared dodging the attack. She laughed and looked at Ireth. "I'll deal with you..." She stopped and then shoved her into the wall the hands pinning Ireth into place. Lyla then turned all of her attention onto Pansa. "Let's see if you have a dark side." She grinned all too excited.

Keir Sullivan

Keir found himself completely surrounded by darkness, unable to see anything. Am I still in that dark room? He wondered vaguely. I'm so... tired. Maybe I'll just... let the others handle things from here on out. His eyelids began to shut, and he could feel himself slipping away.

"It would be so much easier, wouldn't it?" A voice like Keir's agreed. He opened his eyes a little, hoping to make out the speaker, but could see nothing. It didn't really matter, anyways; the voice was right. Keir was just sinking into oblivion when a new, female voice could be heard.

"Keir, listen to me. You have to come back to me now," the new voice told him. It was the voice of Arya, calling him back. He woke slightly, somewhat confused. He was just going to sleep, what was the harm in that? Besides, the other voice wanted him to. "Come on, Keir, come on back," she encouraged him, "You have to find that darkness, embrace it again, but don't forget to hold onto your light."

Darkness? What darkness? Keir wondered. Then, a warm glow appeared in the darkness; Arya's healing magic. In front of him, he could now vaguely make out a shadowy form. Suddenly realizing what the other voice was, Keir began fighting to keep his eyes open. "You... you're -"

"Yes. I am your shadow, and you no longer control me. In the world outside your head, you're dying, held by Arya, who is so desperately trying to save you. Her power is running out, though; she will soon lose her remaining energy, and she'll die. You see? This is what you get for letting yourself get so close to others. It just hurts you. If you let me take over for you, though, you'll never have to deal with any kind of pain again," the shadow enticed Keir. It's argument was compelling to him.

"Keir, you can do this! Wake up!" Arya's voice came again, more persistent. The light shined even brighter for a few moments, but then dimmed. Keir could guess what had happened; she had likely passed out. Realizing that, when it had said she would die, the shadow meant that it would kill her, Keir jumped at it, hoping to defeat it somehow. His knife appeared in his hand, but the area had become dark again and he couldn't see.

"You can't defeat me," the shadow taunted, "as much as you can't defeat yourself. We each know exactly what sort of tricks the other will try to use with few exceptions. I, however, am stronger than you; you would't stand a chance. Face it: night has to fall eventually." As soon as the words left the shadow's mouth, Keir knew it was right. Such a fight was impossible. He would have to find a different solution. Remembering Arya's words from earlier, he knew what he had to do. He just wasn't sure he could do it. Like everyone else, Keir generally refused to acknowledge his dark side, though he was well aware that it existed, as it had emerged a few times in the past. He hated to think what it had tried to do out there without him having any control of it. Taking a deep breath, he spoke again.

"Look. I really don't feel like fighting you. Just come back to me, where you belong. As you said, night may have to fall eventually, but day always follows it. Besides, both are just so unbalanced. As much as I'd hate to see a creature of pure darkness, one of pure light would be equally as unnerving. We'll just have to be twilight," Keir told his shadow, trying to sound encouraging. These words weren't a lie; he found that he, too, believed them to be true. He held out his hand to his shadow.

"Don't forsake me again," it warned him, taking his hand. Keir's eyes closed as he looked at the almost relieved expression on the shadow's face, but he was only sleeping this time; he would wake up. In the real world, the shadow began to dissipate, and the barrier with it. Keir remained feverish, and probably would for some time, whether anyone tried to cure it or not, but was finally out of danger.

@Rin Nyx

((And then, after accepting his shadow, Keir got a Persona... xD ))

Raiquen Nguyen

Raiquen was shocked when Thomas grabbed him and pulled him out of the path of the arrows. He had thought that this man was selfish and didn't care about others; could he have been wrong? He was glad to be immediately released again, though. Merle flew over as fast as she could. Are you okay, Raiquen? We need to be more careful! Don't wander off, okay? She said. Raiquen told the ravens that he was okay, then turned his attention back to the others. He was relieved to hear that they, too, were uninjured. Kokoro's next words pretty much mirrored what his understanding of the treasure was, and he nodded his agreement. He'd always just figured that the treasure sort of hid itself; if someone else hid it, it would be easier to find. He was glad that Eri didn't want a wish, though, since that gave him a better chance of solving his problem. "Let's... go," Raiquen suggested; they had been at the entrance for a while, and he was excited to move on.

Thomas Nightingale

Thomas nodded, and motioned for Kokoro is continue down the tunnel. He knelt down next to the arrows shot, and noticed something strange. They were fairly modern, which was quite confusing. Before Kokoro could get too far, he asked the group as a whole "When exactly was this tomb made? These arrows are fairly modern, I'm assuming its make is around 200-300 years ago." Thomas was worried. What if someone had already searched the tomb, and reset all the traps. The arrows hadn't even broken against the stone wall, despite the high speeds they were going. The metal seemed... special to say the least. He placed the arrows within his quiver, wanting to keep it handy in case his regular arrows didn't finish the job.

Eri Zabelan
Eri observed the walls with a frown. "I don't remember this tomb being built." She commented, running a hand over a small design. The style looked familiar, yet nothing clicked in her mind. Tombs were not common, if it was built only a few centuries ago, surely she would know. It could also be an extention to a tomb, made for a king. But why all the way out here? Many civilizations went endangered, or even extinct around that time. This might not be a tomb, it might be a kingdom buried in the sand. But then again the traps seemed strange. They weren't rusty, or slow or even broken, picking up a stray arrow as she passed, she frowned. Someone either placed a very powerfull spell over this place, or their predicessors were keeping the tomb clean and ready for intruders. Eri disliked the strange vibe that being inside the tomb gave her. But she had made herself, and even if they don't know it, and the other two, a promise to help their way through this tomb. @Creekstar @Rin Nyx @Psychotic Dreams

Pansa's usual laidback attitude vanished as he dropped a smoke bomb in front of him. He leapt into a corner shrouded with shadows as he began to take on his Enkidu form. His skin erupted black fur that covered him from head to toe and his fangs and claws erupted from his flesh.

He chuckled darkly from his position as he leapt from dark area to dark area.

"You hurt Ireth and for that you will pay."

He hurled acid coated kunai at the hands holding the elven girl. He hopped she was able to move when the hands dropped her from her pinned position. He kept moving to keep the psychotic woman from sensing him. He shut his eyes and opened his ears like his master taught him.

'Pansa remember what I taught you. You're eyes are not the only way to see. Remember a warrior is only as sharp as his senses. Hone all of them to perfection. Learn to feel the subtle breath in the air, to hear the heartbeat of your prey, smell their fear, taste their emotions in the air. Use the unknown to play with their emotions and bring about the union of blade and blood.'

A faint sound of a vibrating blade reverberated through the room. A smile thst promised death spread scross the panther's face.

"Come at me as you will vile creature. I will slay like the vile, despicable creature you are."

Kokoro Himura

Location: Desert Tomb

With: Raiquen, Eri, Thomas

Kokoro thought back to when the stories said the tomb had been built, her expression serious as she recalled the story. "This tomb here is the tomb of one of my ancestors," she admitted, looking at the others. "Over 500 years ago, a king ruled the enkidu tribes of the Seher desert. He was a great king, capable of uniting many peoples. When he died, his death was mourned by thousands upon thousands, and the tribes built this tomb both in honor of the great king, and to keep safe a great power. Traps and magic guard these things. Legends state that, should the power leave the tomb, either a golden age or a fearful calamity would ensue, but in the end, the power would return to its place beside the great Seheran king."

After finishing her story, she looked forward again. "I do not know how much of that story is truth, and how much is legend, but the newer arrows are more of a confirmation than anything. After all, 300 years, that would be around the time the world was almost destroyed," she stated. It was very possible that the treasure had been housed in this tomb, and had been found here centuries ago. The part that Kokoro most hoped was true, however, was the line about the treasure returning to its place beside the king. That particular line varied within their stories, and even with the version that she told, the line did not necessarily mean that the power would return immediately, it could have also meant that the power would return to the tomb eventually, and that would be the last place it would appear. She was hoping for the immediate prediction, however.

The tigress started walking forward again, remaining in her human form for the time being. As she walked, her sensitive nose began to pick up a scent... Wrinkling her nose in disgust at the smell, Kokoro recognized it as one of decay. Far more decay than a single body would produce. Beginning to get worried, the girl slowed her pace, taking her staff out from its spot in her sash and holding it defensively. "Something's up ahead," she warned in a hushed tone.

Raiquen Nguyen

Raiquen was more than a little confused by what the others were talking about, and didn't catch all of their words. He did, however, understand the bits about the arrows and some of Kokoro's story, and they piqued his interest. They're newer than the rest of the temple? And from around the time that the treasure was last discovered? Interesting, He thought. He began walking, this time making sure to stay close to the others and behind Kokoro, then asked the ravens their opinion.

It does seem likely that these legends could have some truth in them, as most do, Merle admitted, and it's possible that the power mentioned is the lost treasure, and that it will return here. However, the time frame in which it's supposed to return isn't made clear, and that last part could have just been added on by one story teller later on. You'd have to compare versions of the story to see if it's consistent or not. This advice seemed sound, so Raiquen decided not to get his hopes up. He'd just continue through the tomb, hope for the best, and not be disappointed when he didn't find what he was looking for. He would just have to be patient.

At Kokoro's warning, Raiquen paused in his advance. Something was there? What could it be?
I don't know if you can smell it or not, Raiq, but there's a distinct scent of dead things here. Lots of dead things, their flesh decaying, Berhtram noted. Something about that seemed a bit off to Raiquen, and alarm bells sounded in his mind. If the bodies were still decaying, they'd have to be fairly recent, or maybe supernatural. Either way, there was likely to be danger in the area. Raiquen unfurled his wings as much as he could, ready to use them in his defense, while the two ravens prepared to strike.

❀❀❀ Unila Crys-Feathri ❀❀❀

Unila awoke to a rhythmic pace, which soothed her nerves from the nightmare moments before. She wiped her eyes clean of the few tears still in her eyes, before rising slowly. A majestic shadow-like horse was the cause of the steady rhythm, which she was riding on. She gazed at the dark swirls of flaming hair before her, as she began to realize her situation. Despite the nightmare, she had received a fairly good rest, which had revived her spirits and energy. Looking around her, she realized her group of companions were in a well-structured formation, along with her placement on the side as support.

Without realizing, she began stroking the shadow horse's head as she examined the situation. Her body was still patterned with claw and bite marks alike, however, they didn't really pain her. Geir's shirt was now fully worn, acting like a dress on Unila's small stature. Curiously, she looked underneath the shirt, only to immediately back away. She blushed slightly, as her actual dress was torn to pieces and was in rags, only covering a few parts of her body. She had hoped she would have been able to return his shirt, but that did not appear to be an option at the moment. She shivered as a sudden cold air whipped past her body, on a reflex, she hugged Geir's loose shirt tight. A shy smile grew on her face, as she felt the warmth from the material. She glanced towards Geir, who was positioned diagonally opposite her.

Looking around at her companions, she noticed a few of them had bruises or marks here and there. Her expression dropped slightly, as guilt began to flow.
If only I didn't recklessly use my healing magic...If only my legs would have moved....My legs... With a determined expression, she decided she would test her legs, and see if the problem still persists. Slowly, she dropped onto the floor, with both legs and bent them carefully. They're fine...so why didn't they move earlier? Her expression changed to one of confusion, as she continued to walk alongside the shadow horse.

A change in scenery greeted her, as Unila looked around the surrounding area. They had entered a cavern of some sort, which was more spacious than the usual mining shaft environment. On her side, she noticed strange markings on the wall, created with a dark red colour. Gradually, as more and more of these vivid drawings appeared, she noticed they were apart of a bigger picture.
"Geir, could you shine your teal flames over here for a moment?" She gulped in anticipation of what this mural was, whether it be gruesome, surprising or horrific.

Lyla glared as Pansa moved into the darkness "you're in my playing field now." She said tauntingly. "I'm not vile, if anything Ireth is the vile one. She's nothing but a traitor." She said coldly and watched as the hands that held the elf on the wall were nothing but liquid as the acid burned them. She saw Ireth move into fighting position.

"Don't you understand, my eyes were open... The darkness is a beautiful thing." She said pleading her case to Pansa. "Surely you understand that." Lyla whispered.

Ireth saw the shadow dissipate and the barrier. She quickly ran over to Arya and felt for a pulse. She breathed a sigh of relief to feel one. She looked over at Keir and saw he wasn't in the greatest shape either. The elf tensed and stood up from her kneeling position. She turned towards Lyla holding her dagger. It would be up to her and Pansa to defeat this dark elf. Ireth couldn't help but feel a little afraid of what Lyla could have up her sleeves.

Geir looked back at the sound of another pair of footsteps, a look of relief appearing on his face when he noticed that Unila was up and about again. He had tried his best not to show it while they had been moving in formation, but he had been worried about the girl the entire time she was out. When the girl spoke, the dragon was initially surprised that she had actually pronounced his name right for once. He was about to tease her about it, but decided against it -- something about this cavern made him alert and more serious, and it seemed like a bad idea to crack a joke now. Maybe Unila had picked up on the serious air of the place, too. Wordlessly sending a few balls of flame over, the wall was illuminated by teal-blue light, the dark-red of the mural looking almost black in the lighting.

While the lights revealed the mural on the wall, it also revealed something else. A person was further down in the cavern, just far enough away from the light to make it so their features were hard to discern. They were standing in an odd position, and seemed to be holding something. The person started walking towards the group with sudden and jerky movements, slowly getting closer to the light.

Geir tensed as his light illuminated more than just a mural. He was confident that whomever was coming towards them would be thwarted by the group's formation, so he wasn't too worried just yet, but he was on guard, gripping his swords in his hands and taking on a more defensive stance. As the person stepped far enough into the light to make out it's features, however, Geir's eyes widened. In front of the group stood what looked like a miner. He was older, with a bald head and grey stubble on his face. Clothes grimy and dusty from the mines, the man held a pickax in his hands, the grip looking a bit unnatural for some reason. However, the most shocking part of this man's appearance, was his face. His eyes were wide with terror, and his mouth was gruesomely sewn shut. The miner made a pitiful moaning sound before moving forward with jerky movements, his arms swinging his pickax up, then down towards the front of the formation, Eirho.

((I'll let Violet describe what the mural is, cause I have no idea ^^'' ))

Pansa smirked from the shadows as he listened for the Lyla's movements. He heard Ireth call her that name. Speaking of Ireth, Pansa was internally relieved she was safe. He focused his attention soley on Lyla. Her movements were erratic but not something unusual. He had seen that kind of pattern before. His ears tracked her every subtle movement and his training allowed him to roughly guess her next moves.

"Let me show you what you're up against little girl. "

Pansa moved from each shadow more quickly until when he spoke his voice projected from an indistinguishable direction. He a barrage of needles coated in a hallucinogenic compound. Lyla was getting hit one way or another.

He took great care to focus the needles on one point so they could not be deflected onto his allies. The compound was not lethal but disorienting his allies wouldnt be helpful.

"How do you like my pincushion technique. Maybe now your spineless insults will have some backbone to them."

@WeepingAngel525

Lyla glared at the insult of being called a little girl. She tried to find the direction he was in and could hear the whizzing of needles. She gasped and held up her arms the needles hitting her armor.m, however one has managed to pierce her skin. She stayed very quiet and calm as she pulled the needle out.

She looked down feeling its effects but would not let that stop her. She stumbled back some and felt the wall behind her. She grinned and pulled a shadow from the wall sending it at Pansa.

The shadow was nearly 6' tall and had massive talons, this one was definitely solid. It slunked to the ground like a blob and moved behind him before coming up from behind attempting to slash its talons all the way up Pansa's spine.

Lyla glared as she saw Ireth move to attack and for a moment she flinched thinking she saw her in front of her she backed away some. Realizing that the elf wasn't even there she was even more angered by the hallucination's effect and sent a shadow to deal with Ireth.

@Kuro Kitsune

"You're lost."

"I am not! A dragon always knows where they are, and I'm a dragon!"

"You're a half-dragon, princess, and you're lost. I think we are turned around. Look, there is that one rock I said looks like a wom-"

"I am a dragon, and I'm not lost!" Irha growled, baring her sharp teeth at her human companion. Purple electricity cackled around her, but it faded away as quickly as it had appeared. Her mismatched eyes fell to the rock and she quickly looked away, noting that it did very much look like what Leh had pervertedly thought.

"Well, if we are turned around, which we are not, and that is the rock, which it isn't, then that weird mural thing should be right ahead, which it will not be," Irha said, which caused Leh to pull down his mask to release a loud sigh. He switched his torch from one hand to the other, ready to illuminate the mural he knew would be just ahead. The princess probably knew it too, but was simply too stubborn to admit as such. Leh opened his mouth to say as such, when Irha suddenly put a hand to his mouth. The bodyguard's body tensed, on full alert as Irha pulled down her hood and stood on her toes, her wolf ears twitching on the top of her head.

"A group ahead. A lot of people... Maybe six or seven..." Irha whispered, her hair rising as she lowered herself into a offensive stance, purple electricity dancing around her.

"I will conduct reconnaissance, princess. Stay hidden, these explorers may not take kindly to a wolf hybrid," Leh told her, ruffling her hair as he handed off his torch and pulled his mask over his mouth.

"I am a dragon!" Irha shouted, slamming her fist into the side of the mine. The wall shuddered and ahead of them, a piece of the ceiling crumbled, falling onto the miner before he could do much damage.

"Temper, temper, princess. You could have caused this whole thing to collapse upon us," The bodyguard said, a smile playing on his lips beneath his mask. "But, you did manage to let those ahead of us know we are here." He sighed, taking back his torch from her, shaking his head as if wondering just what he was going to do with the petite princess.

"Oh! You don't think I injured someone, do you?" Irha asked, darting ahead before her companion could stop her.

The hybrid pulled up her hood just before coming to a stop in the light of Gier's fire. She must of looked quite threatening, a cloaked figure, a hand resting naturally on the hilt of her broadsword, illuminated only by the teal fire. However, as soon as she spoke, it became clear she meant no harm.

"My apologies!" She said, her naturally loud voice sounding like a shout in the tight mine. She stepped toward the possessed miner trapped beneath the rubble of the ceiling. "I have medicine if needed. Oh, I truly did not mean to harm your companion!" She began to shrug her pack off her shoulder when she noticed the leader of the formation. Her mismatched eyes widened and she gave a gasp.

"Oh, you're not-" She ran up to him, encasing his hand in her tight grip and shaking it around. "Oh, but you are! You are my hero! You are a legend!"

Leh materialized from the shadows, his mask down and a warm smile on his lips.

"Forgive my princess," he said, offering the group a low bow. "She means well, truly. She just often forgets herself. She wishes to offer her sincere apologies for the trouble she has caused and means to only help if she caused any injuries."

"Enough of your political babble, Leh. Do you know who this man is?"

"I think you called him your hero and a legend. You can let go of his hand now, princess. You are probably hurting the man," her bodyguard replied, standing from his bow to stand by his mistress's side. He did not trust this group, and was on alert to attack if needed while Ihra seemed deceptively relaxed.

"Forgive me, Guardian, sir," Ihra said, finally releasing her visor-like grip. "I am simply in awe of running into you here of all places. As Leh said, I wish to offer you and your..." she paused, taking in the mismatched group that accompanied the ice dragon. "Servants my assistance."

Geir blinked as part of the ceiling crumbled down, landing on top of the miner who had been attacking them. Well, that was...convenient... he thought, a bit concerned for the man's safety. Two new people approached the group rather loudly, setting the dragon on edge. They were quite the pair, a woman and a man together, talking in turn. The woman was fawning over Eirho, calling him a hero, while the man seemed to be trying to reign in the girl. He also noticed that the man was calling her 'princess'. Oh great, another noble, Geir's expression was one of annoyance, but he sat back, at least attempting to be polite (after all, at least this noble hadn't been walking by insulting people right off the bat). However, once the last words were uttered out of the girl's mouth, the fire dragon's temper got the better of him. Teal flames flaring up, "Who the hell are you calling servants?" he snapped, yelling with a growl on his voice and stepping forward angrily as his grip tightened on his swords.

Under the rubble, the miner had passed out from the collapsed ceiling. However, there was the faint sound of cracking coming from under the debris, the noise being covered up by the commotion going on with the group. Bones breaking, the miner was slowly being pulled free, his movements much more smooth now that the man was unconscious. Pulling up to a standing position just off to the side of the group, the miner put his hands on the wall, and a rumbling occurred, causing the entrance to the caverns that the formation had entered through to collapse, blocking the entire group within the caverns. The group was far enough from the entrance that it was possible that they wouldn't even notice, but with that, the miner collapsed into a heap on the ground, apparently abandoned by the one who had been controlling it.

Leandor sensed someone near. Moving to say something to the group he was in interupted when a girl bursted in offering help then running over to Eihrodeign. Mavsighed heavily in disgust as morepeople emerged into the group but he didnt make it to big of a deal cause he only cared about getting out. He looked as the girl drooling over the old dragon.

And then there was silence. Leandor eyes widened as the girl gleefuly called the group behind Eihro servants. Majority of the group, as he had seen so far, didnt take kindly to being look down upon by royatly. And Geir reacted to the comment as expected but In the case of Mavndrus it was a whole different story. He had already taken enough trash from the group he was with now. So being called a servant pulled the plug. Mavndrus hair began to ruffle from invisible force. A black flame emitted from his body and the darkness seem to encircle the group causeing the light that Geir shined to becoming dimmer and dimmer by the second. By now All of Mavndrus body was covered in black flame and his eyes looked like black pearls all the other colors drained from them.

Leandor ran to his side. "Prince, please calm down im pretty sure she meant no harm by..... " Leandor didnt get to finish as the flames around Mav reacted to his anger growing larger "QUIET.." he shouted towards Leandor. "I have taken enough crapped from this group of imbeciles, ive held in every ounce of my pride...but no more.To be called a servant is something i will not take to with a blind eye." He stepped towards the girl. "You shall die for your ignorance." Leandor unsheathed his sword seeing that the girl was accompanied by someone and at this point there was no stopping Mav. "Everyone stay back!" Leandor said. Only probably he and Eihro could withstand the flames. Mavndrus had enchanted the flames to never hurt anyone he loved including Leandor so he was safe around it but was always cautious.

Between the commotion of the miner that she had wanted to check on being crushed, the new arrivals, one of which clearly knew his title and doubtless many of his acts by the way she'd fawned over him, and Mav losing his temper over a simple mistake, all compounded atop the fact that he saw Lani's head cock to the side as she looked back the way they came and that they all still didn't know where the laughter came from was all getting to be a bit too much for the dragon. In fact petty squabbling like this was the reason he avoided people so much. Swinging his sword out, he slammed the behemoth blade into the ground between the new arrivals and roared out his nest words.

"ENOUGH!"

The concussive force of his voice alone was more than enough to send everyone into a stunned silence, save for Lani who had smartly used air bubbles to combat the soundwaves. On top of Eihrodeign's voice, with his annoyance and frustration, and especially since every saw fit you use fire, branches of ice began to shoot out from his feet and where his sword was sunk into the pure stone as the air around them chilled. Not two seconds later the flames and the crew were now standing in a crystalline ice cavern as Eihro cut an imposing figure, his eyes casting condemnation across Mavndrus and Geir for starting action against simple words from an unknowing source.

From the ceiling and floor fell and rose icene stalactites and stalagmites that quickly caged in the childish pair, the ice heedless and resilient even in the face of the flames.

"Lani, what do you know?"

"Sounds like the mine entrance is shut." Lani replied, head head cocking to the side. Anyone paying attention to her over the imposing dragon, the angry pair or the newcomers would notice her hood twitch oddly, but little else, "Whatever is going on, someone or something wants us in here, and they seem to find amusement in us fighting each other."

Eihro nodded as he understood the depth of the situation before turning back to the newcomers.

"So you know me, Eihrodeigh the Guardian. You've introcduced your companion, Leh, but I seem at a disadvantage, as I have no knowledge of a recognised Princess of your nature," Eihro spoke smoothly, making it clear he knew what Ihra was while not speaking the words to keep her privacy intact, "As for the rest of us, I have no servants, you should have known I'm not the type. I keep the peace where I can, as I am doing now, but let me allow us proper introductions while we all calm down. The slight girl behind in the cloak is my daughter, Lani the Walker. On her right is Ila by the horse, and on Lani's left is Auluua. The caged drake is Geir, a bit hotheaded, but young, and the converse stands Mavndrus, also a young elfen prince. Finally there stands Leandor. You two may have something to talk about in your free time, as you both know who I am. Any how, Lani, take over while I tend to this miner."

Nodding affirmatively as her father made his way to the wounded miner, Lani looked at the state of it all. The ice alone told her that Eihro recognised the dangers of the cave, otherwise he wouldn't have been this liberal with his usage of power. Overall, though, things weren't looking good, and her exceptional hearing wasn't making her any happier to be going deeper in the mine, but there was little choice at this point. Looking over at her father handling the badly injured miner, Lani nodded to Auluua.

"If needed, would you help move that man to the horse? He looks to be in bade shape, and may have answers for us. Regardless we should try to save him. Now, everyone else, it is this simple. Stop bickering. I'm sure I hear bettwer than most of you, and while I've largely kept it to myself, now is as good a time as any to make it known. Something is trying to keep us in these caves, it's been laughing and getting all sorts of joy out of us arguing with each other, and if us at odds is what it wants, then clearly it's not what we need to be doing. Like my dad said, wanna murder each other? Feel free once we're out, but I'm not going to be putting my fate in the hands of people older than me that can't even act like it. Dad, what about our formation?"

"Well, if the newcomer and Leh would join us, you and Leh side by side, the princess where Mav was and Mav in the middle making the new point of the triangle behind you and Leh. Of course that's only if we all stop acting like children in a shoolyard."

Shrugging, Lani gave a smile to everyone else and nodded, "Simple as that. We reform, we fight our way out, and then we watch everyone that wants to kill each other do so."

As Eihro moved to put the injured miner on the horse he walked up to where he had Geir and Mavndrus still iced in, the look of the 'bars' clear that the ice had been resilient against the fire.

"If I let you out, can we calm down and call a truce until we leave, or do I need to smash your heads together a few dozen times to see if that'll get either of you to think about where the other's state of mind is?

"I rather not." Mavndrus said staring Eihro in the eyes while he was still ablazed. Eyes gleaming the darkest shade of black. "I will no longer be associated with any of you people. Me a prince should not have to put up with such disrespect." Leandor moved over to the cage and Eihro,"I am sorry for the inconvenience, but it is not my place to object to the will of the prince. It was rather quite fun travleing with you folk." Leandor did a short bow to Eihrodeign. Mav simmered down a bit and banged on the ice cage with his staff. "Leandor get me out of this." Mav said still very irritated. Leandor sighed and emitted power into his hand turning it into a lion claw and smashing the ice. He flinched a little as he did not expect the ice to be that dense. He chuckled a lil shaking his hand. "Well most likely stay here, knowing the King hes had someone following and wathcing us this whole time so theyll be reporting this and probably have some people on the way to get us out. I wish you all safe travels" Leandor nodded to the group While Mavndrus scoffed and fixed his hair once again walking a distance from the group.

Irha blinked in confusion as the real haired man shouted and her and began to make his move. Her hand tightened on the hilt of her broadsword, her hair rising as purple electricity cackled under her hood. However, when she heard his words, her anger disapated and was replaced by confusion.

"I-" She began, but cut herself off as she finally took the fire dragon in. A deep blush spread across her face and she quickly looked away from the shirtless, and rather attractive, dragon. She took a deep breath to calm herself and again tried to apologize when the elven prince erupted and began his attack. This time, before she could get into her defensive stance, Leh was in front of her, loose rocks rising and falling around him as he readied to take on the prince, even if it might cause a war or two.

"ENOUGH!"

In an instant, the two that had lost their temper were changed and Leh let the rocks fall around him, standing from his fighting stance. He bowed his head and despite her protests, forced Irha's head down as well.

"My sincerest apologies to you all. My princess did not mean to be rude. She is merely stupid-"

"Hey!"

"And assumed that the mighty dragon she looks up to, would travel with a large group of loyal servants and fans. She meant no offense. She simply does not think before she speaks," Leh continued, finally lifting his head and allowing his mistress to lift her own. He smiled his trademark grin and gave a wink before he added jokingly,"Though it is only logical to assume the half-naked gentleman and lady to be your concubines. We do not judge. Who you bring to bed is not of our concern."

"Ignore him, he is the idiot. I truly meant no harm. My name is Ihra Garvastada, daughter of the mighty King Jilt the Protector of the Dragon tribes Vasta, Div, Malo, and Tane. My companion is my loyal friend, Leh Draven. It is a pleasuring to meet you all, and I do hope we may help one another," Ihra said, acting for the first time in front of this group like the political leader she was. She offered them an awkward and clumsy curtsy, something she had never mastered.

She lifted her eyes to Geir and offered him what she thought was a friendly smile, but was rather frightening with her canine-likely teeth.

"If you and your fellow concubine need clothing, I can supply you with some. We have spares," She told him, not understanding that Leh had been joking when he called them concubines. Her comment caused her human companion to double offered in laughter, though she ignored him, purple electricity circling her as she tried to ebb her annoyance. He laughed at her a lot, but it was rare that she understood why

Pansa grinned as the talons pierced his fur.

He turned to face his shadow attacker and mouth one word to it. Boom A bright filled the room as the shadow was annihilated by the light. A spent, charred wooden dummy clattered to the ground. The sound of hundreds of metal objects hitting the ground filled the room. Pansa had switched with a dummy and tossed caltrops around Lyla.

"Maybe you'll get my point now little girl. Maybe you need a sound spanking to set you straight."

Pansa goated her on from the shadows, making her more and more angry. The caltrops were laced with an agent that would make her hallucinations more nightmarish. Ah the joys of poisons and herbs.

Pansa moved near the shadow thst Lyla sent to take on Ireth and pulled Ireth into the shadows before it could reach her.

"Your move little one."

Geir growled at the emergence of the ice cage that trapped him in with the pompous prince. He wasn't even the one who had started attacking! Sure, he got angry and yelled, but he hadn't tried to attack the newcomers like Mavndrus did, yet Eirho was acting as if he had. Still, the younger dragon didn't bother trying to melt the cage down, instead he crossed his arms and leaned against the bars, steam rising from his skin as it touched the cold ice. He wasn't about to waste his energy breaking down the cage, it would be too inconvenient for him. Geir's mood started to lighten up just a little when he heard what was good news for him. The elf prince was planning on leaving the group. Geir stood up straight again, no longer leaning on the bars of the cage, which was convenient, as Leandor shattered the thing shortly afterward.

The fire dragon was very much tempted to call out a snarky remark as the elf prince was walking away, but reminded himself that Eirho was already annoyed enough at him. Even though he figured he could take on the ice dragon if he had to -- the older dragon almost definitely had more physical strength, but Geir had more magic and, if his temper burned hot enough, even the bars of the ice cage that Eirho had called up would melt to the ground -- he wasn't sure how that battle would end, and he'd really rather not waste his energy on fighting an ally. Lani was right in that there was some presence in these mines, and it had been watching them the entire time they had been in there. If fighting amongst themselves was what it wanted, Geir wasn't going to give them the pleasure.

These newcomers weren't making it easy, though. Actually, Geir wasn't sure how to feel about what was going on now. At least the two had apologized for the servants comment, but now... Concubines? the dragon's eye twitched a little at the suggestion. It was obvious that the man had been joking -- and actually, Geir was rather entertained by it. It sounded like something he would say. The girl, however, seemed to take the comment in all earnestness. Well, either that, or she was really good at keeping a straight face. Geir's own face was a mix of confusion and annoyance, not unlike the one he wore much, much earlier that day, when he had first met Unila and realized that he had been traveling the wrong way.

She does realize how ridiculous that is, right? I mean, what kind of concubine carries around swords? Hell, the only reason I don't have my shirt is because... Geir's eyes traveled to the side, glancing at Unila for only a moment before returning to stare at the people in front of him. He had originally taken off his shirt just to cover Ila from the bats, but had put the clothing on her more fully while she was passed out due to the...state of her dress, and to keep her protected if more bats had decided to attack. He hadn't even thought about how he might look to anyone else, walking around without a shirt. But she really can't think...can she? Wait, but then... a devilish grin appeared on Geir's face as he thought of something. The man, Leh, had set him up perfectly for this one...

"Clothing? Oh, you must be a very gracious person, unlike Eirho here, who doesn't even provide his own concubines with proper clothes," Geir started, taking a step towards Irha and leaning forward slightly. "Say, Eirho here is pretty... boring, if you know what I mean...you wouldn't happen to be in the market for a couple of companions, now would you?" he motioned with his thumb to both Unila and him, and winked at Irha. Mentally, he was preparing himself for the consequences of his joke. He was 99% sure that he was going to get hit, one way or another. He was almost certain that his little joke would have pissed off Eirho, and more than likely Unila as well. On top of that, who knew how this girl would react to such a joke being made towards her. Ehh...worth it, Geir decided, a grin on his face as he waited for the inevitable.

As Mavndrus and Leandor walked away from the rest of the group, a voice began to speak to the elf, like a whisper in his ear that only he would hear. "Look at that rabble, happy now that you've walked away...Lowlifes like them don't deserve to even be in the same mine as you," the voice began, it's tone sympathetic to the elf's plight. "They ridiculed you, called you a servant, and you're going to let them all live? Perhaps you're worried that you aren't powerful enough..." the voice trailed off, then started back again shortly after, "You could be, though. You could have unimaginable power, enough to smite all of these imbeciles where they stand..." the voice began to fade out again, as if waiting for a reaction from the elf.

Lyla turned away and shut her eyes as the bright light pierced them destroying her beautiful shadow. She tensed hearing the sound of metal clang on the floor. Carefully she looked around and noticed what was around her. She side stepped to the corner careful to not step on any. She didn't even want to touch one with her boots in fear it might do something to her.

Ireth felt herself being pulled into the shadows. She looked at Pansa and nodded "I failed El Kirshnon." She whispered sadly.

Lyla suddenly turned her attention to Arya who lied there unconscious. 'You may be unconscious but your shadow isn't.' She thought and sent her own shadow to converse with Arya's shadow in attempts to take it over as she had done so with Keir. "I'm surprised the company you keep with you Ireth." Lyla stated deciding it would be best to stab Ireth with her words. The dark elf laughed "I'm more surprised that you let them fight your own battles." She added knowing all too well that would get her.

Ireth glared at that last statement as she held up her dagger. She was going to take the bait as she readied herself to charge at the Dark elf.
