Fantasy The Lost Treasure of Creation

Mav listened to what he though was his conscience. It made him bubble with anger again. He turned and looked how he group giggled and looked as if they we're so happy that he as gone. Him and Lenador stopped in front of a wall. "Leandor if I said I wanted to kill all of then would you help." Mav said looking him in the eyes. Leandor wasn't one for killing innocents but he also wasn't one to disobey the prince. "I strongly object to that..." "I didn't ask for your opinion I just asked would you help me or not!!!" Mav said in a quiet but harsh tone. Leandor sighed " if you we're to attack and they retaliated I would undoubtebally help to protect you." Mav smiled and raised his staff towards the group who we're presently ocuppied and he was good distant away. The eyes on his staff glowed. Suddenly he felt a huge pressure against his back that threw him off balance and the shot heplanned on firing hit the ceiling above the group. "Leandor eyes widened as a someone phased through the wall and jumped on Mavndrus back. "Leandor what the hell..." Mav said as he looked at the arm that was rapped around his neck. On it was a ring that looked exactly like his. "Hi big brother..." the person who had phased through the wall and jumped on Mav back said grinning stupidly showing Evey single on of his teeth.

Ireth pulled the jade dagger from Lyla and laid flat on the ground the blood spike barely scathing her skin. "Enough, Arya!" Ireth yelled angrily. "You may think we are all traitors and that you're so horrible that we would want to kill you but you are very naive." She began standing up she held onto the dagger and readied herself to use it.

"Listen to me Arya everyone has done terrible things to each other no one is perfect. I just killed my best friend twice now and yes I am a traitor. Would I kill you, only if you gave me such reasons to. Attacking me is one reason for me to harm you in defense. Arya, we are all indebted to you. You gave your life to us to protect us, now why would you let that be in vain by killing us?" The elf demanded.

"It doesn't take strength to stab someone in the back," the shadow hissed at Keir, the blood mist near him suddenly coming together and lashing out at the man in an attempt to pin him against the pillar that he leaned on. Restrain first, then dispatch of them after, the shadow decided. Perhaps something in their words had reached the girl, delaying the shadow's murderous intentions for a short time.

Arya's shadow turned its attention now towards Ireth, giving a short, angry laugh. "You think people betray her for what she has done?" Anger flashed in the shadow's eyes as it shook its head 'no', even though the movement would be difficult to see in the mist. "She has saved the lives of many, do you think that truly matters? Each time, those she cared for, those she saved, they all ended up the same. Not because of what she's done, but because of what she is!" the shadow's angry words caused a rise in the mist around Ireth, and, similar to how the blood attacked Keir, the blood now moved to lash out towards the elf, though this time it aimed at the girl's mouth as well, attempting to silence the elf's words.

"Why would....betray...." Words vaguely floated around Arya's mind. 'Why? Why do any of them betray me? They hate me for what I am...' the word 'abomination' danced around her mind, a word that she had been called many times, amongst many others. They hated her, some even feared her, and they always tried to kill her for what she was. She wanted to trust people, she wanted to believe in others, but how could she? ...How could they trust her, when she couldn't even trust them?

"Enough, Arya!" the words sounded harsh in the girl's mind. There it was again, the feeling of tears on her face. What was going on? She didn't cry. She had learned long ago to keep her tears inside, where others could not see them. So why did it feel like she was crying now? "Why would you...in vain...killing us?" Confusion. What was she doing? What was her shadow doing?

'I am protecting you.'

'From what?'

'From you. You long to trust others, but others hurt you. I am saving you from that pain."

Keir Sullivan

Keir winced as he felt the blood touch him, lashing him to the pillar. He had kind of been asking for it since he was leaning against the it. He was glad that Arya's shadow didn't seem to be planning on killing him yet, though; that gave him some time. "Physically, no, it doesn't take strength. Emotionally, though..." He replied quietly to the shadow's first retort, trailing off. Despite growing up on the streets, he wasn't the hardened man that people expected. He himself had dealt with others turning their backs on him too many times to wish that upon someone else. Well, my shadow likes to take it out on others, and I realize the problems of ignoring it, but I have to find balance, like I promised. I can't be a total wimp, but at the same time, I shouldn't wish pain on everyone. They had nothing to do with it, he thought to himself. The bonds continued tightening around him, and he felt strangely as if he had been in a situation like this before.

The shadow's next words caught his attention, though. What she was? What was that supposed to mean? A feeling of doubt nagged at him for a moment, but he quickly shook it off. Whatever the shadow was hinting at, it didn't matter. "If anyone here's the traitor, its likely you," Keir commented to the shadow, knowing that his words would probably have a few repercussions. "I didn't care that I knew so little about her. She was still a friend to me because of her actions, and her actions prove that she's a good person. However, you're jumping in and trying to make her lose our trust by hinting at some secret she obviously didn't think we should know. I doubt she'd want you to do that. Besides, I don't care what she is, I only care who she is. Whether she's an elf, human, dragon, enkidu, hybrid, or even some sort of monster, that doesn't change how I think of her. I hope that I can speak for all of us when I say this." He hoped his words had gotten through. Judging by what her shadow had said, she needed friends who could stay true to her.

Ireth cut through the lash and moved her way closer to the shadow. She looked at the shadow with pity and put the dagger down to her side. "And what is she?" Ireth finally asked. Surely everyone had to have been wondering what Arya was, it was clear she was far more than someone who could control water and blood and perhaps any liquids. "What is she that those would betray her with no reason?" The elf said a bit more demanding. She was slightly surprised of herself to be quite so bold it wasn't like her.

Arya Tinuviel / Arya's Shadow

Location: Temple Ruins/In Arya's head

With: Ireth, Keir, Pansa

The shadow turned an angry gaze towards Keir at his idea that she could be the one betraying Arya. Angry, a spike of blood began to hurtle towards the man while the blood bonds around him tightened. However, she seemed to pause for a moment at Keir's latter words, the spike of blood halting and dispersing before it hit the man. Wouldn't care if she were a hybrid? That thought was new to the girl, and to the shadow. She had never met anyone who didn't care that she was a hybrid, when others found out (or just realized it on their own, since it wasn't too hard to figure out from the girl's appearance), they always reacted with disgust, fear, aggression...never acceptance. The blood bonds around Keir seemed to waiver for just a moment, before the shadow returned her attention to the elf. The elf's demanding tone was angering the shadow even more.

"What is she? You mean you haven't realized it for yourself?" the shadow demanded, gripping the scythe tighter in her hands. The blood mist was beginning to settle down more towards the ground, though that wasn't necessarily a good thing. Her angry expression now clear to see, the shadow glared daggers at the elf. "Abomination..." the shadow made a giant swing with her scythe towards the elf, the swing in no way close to hitting the girl, but sending a wave of blood hurtling towards her, "Demon..." another swing, "Monster, atrocity, disgrace!" Each word came with another swing of the scythe, sending more and more blood hurtling towards Ireth, until all of the mist had been used up for these attacks, leaving only the blood restraining Keir, and the protective blood floating around Arya, though even the blood contributing to both of these had thinned out with the shadow's usage of the liquid. Out of usable liquids for her attacks, the shadow clenched its fist, "Horror, repugnant, evil, hybrid!" she continued the list of things that Arya had been called throughout her lifetime as she stepped forward, punching the wall and causing the whole room to shake as that part of the wall crumbled. "You mean to tell me, that you, who would stab her own friend in the back, wouldn't do the same to her if given the chance?" the shadow roared, her voice almost sounding as deep as a dragon's, though she had no dragon form to turn into.

((Well, at least Arya's Shadow is a lot more open with her emotions.....))

Ireth looked at kier wide eyed as a blood spike sped towards him and was glad to see that it had stopped. Although she felt bad because Keir seemed to be getting through to the shadow and she obviously just fueled it's anger. The elf stood her ground as the shadow directed its attention to her. She listened to each word and turned away as she became covered in blood the force pushing her back. The elf grew nervous that the scythe would be the next to come her way. Ireth looked at her "maybe people don't understand and so out of fear they act irrational." She said quietly.

The elf froze and grew silent when the shadow lashed out at her. She may not have hit her with the scythe but it may as well have pierced her through given those last words. The elf shook her head for so long she held in the guilt of killing her friend, her sister, and to now just have to do it again. Ireth trembled in anger as a tear fell down her cheek.

"I did what I had to do to save my people! She sold us out what was left of our village after many years of war and it was vanquished because she wanted power!" Ireth practically screamed and out of anger she moved close to the shadow. "I would do the same to anyone who were the cause of the loss of my people! The loss of El Kirshnon..." The last part she had whispered before dropping to her knees. "Why did I have to be the one to survive... The one to stop her?! I didn't ask to be! I didn't want to kill her..." She said shaking her head "Do you think I walk without guilt? The murder has placed a curse on me. Do you think that I do not fear others?!" She snapped at the shadow.

"You are mistaken... I who betrayed my friend... I could not convince her to stray from the darkness and as it consumed her what was I left to do? I would not let my people live on through her blood thirst... perhaps there was vengeance in my heart... Everything was gone and all that was left was hate." She spoke staring at the ground as though reliving those final moments.

Pansa quickly darted out and swiftly pulled Arya's body into the shadows. He disappeared before he could be detected. Working as fast as possible, he put salve on all of her wounds and tightly bandaged each are.

'Much better than next time I must say.'

Pansa wrote a different incantation on her bandages this time. He wrote on that would allow Arya to awaken despite her shadow having control and wrestle back control.

'Remember Pansa, the mind controls the body. Dark emotions can physically manifest into something sinister. You must wake the person and alert them of their shadow form. Remember this is their fight. Only interfere when necessary.'

Pansa readied for Arya to awaken and also kept an eyes on the shadow Arya's movements. He stepped out of the shadows after he made sure Arya would be okay.

"Violence is only at the last resort. I spent a good portion of my youth as a soldier for hire. It is an unnecessary evil in this world. Arya may have been betrayed in the past but we won't forsake her."

TIONI FAVEHARI

Sranding in front of the castle Tioni was very excited. His father had ordered him!! Him to come to the castle so he could speak with him. Usually all his business with public affairs and such are done thorugh servants and messages and now that the king, his father, has order to see him personally Tioni was drooling with anticipation. Thoughts flowed around in his mind about what his father could possibly want his thoughts we're interrupted as he ran into the castles front door. He laughed loudly as he fell and so did the two guards by the door. He stood up and dusted himself off and pushed through the doors.

As he entered the throne room his father had other company. TIONI was dissapointed a bit but he was still excited. "Father so good to see you, what may I do you for" he said bowing. TIONI glanced at the others in the room they we're dressed in full body clothing including there faces. All black. And then he remembered these we're mercenaries hhis father had ordered to spy on Mavndrus. Tioni had overheard the conversation one day when he had come to the castle to drop some papers off which he could've had someeone else to but any chance he could see his father he took it. Tioni moood immediately turned serious.
What happened, did Mav get into some trouble.

The king saw the distress on his sons face. "Calm down my child, Mavndrus has seem to have got himself stuck. And right now I don't have the time to send an army to get him out so you will do. Retrieve him from the cave." TIONi was shocked but didn't hesitate he bowed "You can count on me father." He dashed out of the room and out of the castle. He quickly traveled to the mining village that he was directed to after a servant had chased him down after he ran out of the castle before he could informed oof where he was at. He inspected the outside of the mine. It was in terrible shape. He walked in for a little bit before the reaol was cut off by some rocks he easily phased through them with his shadow form and same with the next. Until his jumped it the wall onto his brothers back "Hi Big Brother..." Loud enough that everyone in the mine could hear

Keir Sullivan

Keir braced himself as the attack sped towards him. To his surprise, however, it dissipated before reaching him. His bonds even wavered for a second; he was getting through. The shadow turned its attention to to Ireth, however, and began yelling and sending waves of blood towards her. The first few words were slightly worrying, but Keir quickly realized that the shadow was just spitting out random negative adjectives. Finally, it got to the word describing what Arya truly was. "...Hybrid!" It screamed before punching the wall. The room shook, and Keir was almost glad to be tied to the pillar; he probably would have fallen over otherwise.

"Okay?" Keir asked, a little confused. He looked around at the others, trying to figure out how he was expected to react to such a thing, but they were all worrying about other issues. "Er... Sorry, I grew up on the streets, so there are a lot of things I never learned. How was I supposed to react to her being a hybrid? I never really ran into any; I'm pretty sure they're rare. Do people think that there's something morally wrong about them or something? If that's the case, it's hardly my place to judge; I'm a thief, after all. Even if I was someone who disliked hybrids, it hardly seems like something worth stabbing someone in the back for." He finished speaking a somewhat awkwardly, but once again hoped he had broken through to Arya.

Arya Tinuviel / Arya's Shadow

Location: Temple Ruins

With: Ireth, Keir, Pansa

Arya's shadow paused at Ireth's words. Her feelings, her reasoning...it was something that Arya could relate to, in a way. The hesitation in the shadow's movements were clear, though it wasn't certain whether it would give in or not.

'What if you're wrong?'

'About what?'

'What if they don't betray me? What if I found them, the ones I can finally trust?'

'Don't be naive!'

'I know the odds aren't in my favor, but...'

Arya slowly opened her eyes, blinking to clear them of tears. So, she had been crying after all. That was strange. She could hear yelling, her shadow was yelling at someone...and there was talking. Slowly sitting up and looking down at herself, she first noticed the bandages around her, covering the wound on her side that she had sustained while fighting the shadow Keir. She also noticed that her hand, which had been cut from her grabbing hold of the shadow whip, had a bandage around it, but was, unfortunately, on the outside of her armor. That's....not how bandages work, she thought, a little confused. She untied that bandage -- it wasn't helping her anyway -- and removed it, but left the one around her body. Slowly and quietly, Arya brought herself to her feet.

The girl took a few quiet steps forward, towards the pillar where Keir was bound, though she was still out of view. Once he had finished speaking, she placed a hand on his shoulder, telling him in a quiet voice, "People murder others for a lot less." As soon as the words were spoken, the blood that had bound Keir fell to the ground in a puddle, freeing him to move again, and Arya removed her hand from his shoulder, now walking towards her shadow and Ireth. Approaching her shadow from behind, the girl placed her hand on the shadow's shoulder now, reaching over with her other hand and gently taking the scythe out of the shadow's hands.

"I want to try," she told the shadow quietly, finishing the sentence that she had begun in her mind.

The shadow slowly let go of the scythe it was holding, looking back at the true Arya. "If they betray you, I will protect you," it stated, almost as a warning. It then slowly faded out, returning into a vague black shape which then traveled to reattach itself to Arya as her shadow.

With the threat of her shadow out of the way, Arya bent down onto her knees in front of Ireth, setting the scythe on the ground next to her. "...I'm sorry," she said simply, unable to say anything else. The tears that had stained her face from her time being unconscious threatened to flow again -- the girl had heard her shadow's terrible comment, and she felt guilty, that she could lash out like that and cause so much pain, even if it was her shadow. Having just come from unconsciousness, from the realms of her mind where her emotions flowed freely, the girl had not quite gotten a hold of her emotions to reign them in as she normally did, leaving the pain and sadness and guilt clear on her face as she looked at Ireth now.

((Playing off of Pansa's lack of healing training
:P And, boss battle over?))

Ireth could hear what was happening but it was like she wasn't even there. Memories were assaulting her of that tragic night when her people were slaughter and village destroyed and at the front of it was Lyla. She stood there laughing as the massacre and Ireth was able to get close to her because of their friendship. It was then when she tried to reason with her friend and when nothing could come of it she stabbed her. "I'm sorry" she heard and it was those words that brought her out of it. She looked up at Arya the tears on her cheeks met with the blood and ran down her face. "She took everything from me... I couldn't... and even now... she nearly did the same again..." She whispered still trembling.

She took in a deep breath to pull herself back together as she forced herself to stand. She looked at Arya and nodded "at least she's gone for good..." she said and turned to look at where she left the body. The elf's face flushed seeing it gone her grip tightening on the dagger. "NO!" she screamed running over to the place she laid and looked through the crack knowing she couldn't have gotten far without help. "I've failed yet again... Oh El Kirshnon is this my curse to always be stuck with!" she screamed leaning against the wall tears falling down her cheeks. "I will find her and kill her I swear." she said trembling. She looked at Arya shaking her head fear clearly in her eyes.

@Rin Nyx

Pansa smacked his forehead when realized he wrapped Arya's wounds incorrectly.

'Yup definitely taking some combat medic classes.'

He fished out some of the leftover salve and bandages and banded them to Ireth with a blush on his face. He fished out a bottle as well and handed it to the elven girl. Thankfully his outfit covered his eyes partially. At least he could some of his dignity.

"I don't think i could bandage Arya. It would be improper for a gentleman to undress a lady in a vulgar place like this."

He slipped back into the shadows were he felt most comfortable. He continued his search for any hidden traps or pitfalls. With the room blocked off, they had little choice but to camp here for the night. It was safe enough.

"Why don't you guys set up camp? I'll take the first watch. Ill do some more rounds and set up some counter traps if any of those fiends decide to return to this room. I'll try to figure a way out of the room."

At least in the shadows he would not make an ass of himself.

@Rin Nyx @Creekstar @WeepingAngel525

Ireth was engulfed in anger as she listened to Pansa's words "If those fiends come back...." she whispered and glared "If Lyla comes back! I'll kill her, she's made a fool of me!" she yelled sinking back down to the floor. "She should have died years ago... for years i've needlessly suffered with the guilt of her death with the thought that i was the traitor...I betrayed my best friend... what's to keep it from happening..." she whispered as if Arya's shadow's words still lingered with her. "She's the traitor!" she yelled at no one in particular.

The elf finally fell silent and stared at nothing in particular, even though she didn't speak setting up camp sounded nice. Sleep sounded nice but the truth was she was afraid of sleep. She shook her head and pulled her knees close to her chest and laid her head on her knees her hair covering the rest. She was obviously crying, How could she sleep after what had just happened even in the best of times Lyla's death haunted her, and now the very thought that she was alive may even haunt her more. She was more terrified of her nightmares than her daydreams. "I'll watch..." she finally spoke raising her head. She looked tired and frazzled and frightened. "I can't sleep..." she whispered shaking her head again "even in my dreams she haunts me..." she said holding up the dagger as though to protect herself.

Keir Sullivan

Keir stiffened slightly as he felt a hand on his shoulder. People had snuck up behind him way too many times that day. He was relieved, however, to discover that it was Arya, and even more relieved to be let loose. At her remark, he replied, "Trust me. I know." Staying where he was, he watched as Arya spoke to her shadow, which disappeared, then to Ireth. Keir listened solemnly to the elf's words, but started when he realized that Lyla was gone. How could she have simply left? She had been gravely injured! There had to be something else helping her.

Keir turned his attention to Pansa as he spoke. "Wait... It's not proper 'to undress a lady in a vulgar place like this'? Since you specified this place, does that mean that you think it's okay to undress a lady elsewhere?" Keir teased. "Also, what the heck? You had no problem bandaging me! I look like a mummy!" He grinned, but Ireth's outburst quickly wiped the expression off of his face. He wasn't really sure how to reply to that. Deciding just to leave her be, he sat down and leaned against a wall, his fever feeling worse now that his adrenaline was dying down. "Sorry," he called to the others, "I'm really tired. Set up camp without me..." He closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep.

Eri Zabelan
Eri slowly stood, pulling herself up with her staff. "Alright." She spoke softly, staring into the dark tunnel. Blowing out a small puff of air, Eri smiled. The little breeze winding down the corridor, searching for traps. "Twenty feet of clear. Then another trap seems like spikes coming from the sides. Most probably arrows I presume." She imformed the party behind her. Trying to display her use. Maybe soon they would come to a large cavern. Her air did seem to meet an open space. Whether it be multiple holes to the surface, or a large room, she was unsure. Takes slow steps, one by one Eri cast glances back at the ones following. She knew thats they were trustworthy, and that set her mind at ease. Yet her heart still pounded in her chest. Something was off, for a second she panicked and froze, her whole being in a dangerous mode. Closing her eyes she reached, and triple checked, then checked again. Good. It had nothing to do with that. No one was close. Her eyes opened and she proceeded cautiously. These tunnels were making her edgy, and Eri didn't like it one bit. Glancing back once again, Eri checked to see if anyone else had sensed it.

Arya Tinuviel

Location: Temple Ruins

With: Ireth, Keir, Pansa

"We'll find her again," Arya started to reassure Ireth as the elf realized that Lyla had disappeared. Arya felt a pang of guilt; maybe if her shadow hadn't been a factor, Ireth would have been able to make sure that the dark elf had died this time. The girl could also relate to Ireth's feelings, the guilt of killing a friend, even if given no choice... But I had a choice. I could have let them kill me, she thought, starting to become lost in her own thoughts. She snapped out of it quickly, though. Her situation was different, and not what she should focus on right now.

The blue haired girl was about to say something else to reassure the elf, when Pansa began to hand Ireth medical supplies, mentioning it being 'improper to undress a lady...' Still not yet fully in control of her emotions like she usually was, Arya's eyes widened a bit and she immediately blushed at the thought, her face only turning more red with Keir's added comments. Standing up in a hurry and grabbing the supplies from Ireth, she mumbled out something about doing it herself, avoiding eye contact with the rest of the group. She wanted to comfort Ireth more, as it seemed as though the elf was having a hard time -- which was understandable and probably an understatement, given the situation -- but she didn't know what else to say, anyway. She decided that she would have to try later, when she could think more clearly, and for now just focus on bandaging herself.

Before she took care of her wounds, she took the time to help set up camp, using the time it took to help her regain control of her emotions. She didn't like having her emotions show plainly on her face like that, it left her feeling...exposed. After the simple camp had been set up, Arya then began to look for a place where she could properly dress her wounds without any of the others seeing. Unfortunately, she would have to undress in order to properly put bandages on the wound on her side, and even just taking off the armor on her arm to bandage up the wound on her hand seemed awkward for her. The girl found herself wishing that she could just heal herself and be done with it, but she just didn't have the energy for that. Walking behind one of the large pillars farther away from the group, Arya looked around to double check that she was alone, then slowly began to remove the armor on her arm with the cut. Blood had followed her to the pillar, now that she had buried her emotions again, and it was now bubbling up around her and crawling up the pillar, reacting to the girl's nervousness. Finally, the armor removed from her arm, the girl flexed her hand a little, testing to see how bad the cut was.

It's not too bad, I should be able to heal this one after a good night's rest, she analyzed, taking some of the salve and carefully applying it to the cut. Using her other hand and her mouth, Arya managed to wrap some bandages snugly around the wound and tie it off. There, that's one. She then slowly undid the clasp of her supplies belt, setting it on the floor. She paused, and the blood around her bubbled up more with her fear. She would have to take her dress off to get to the wound at her side, and that was something that she just wasn't ready to do with others nearby. She reached down, grabbing the bottom of her dress to pull it up, but hesitated again. She couldn't even keep the emotion from her face this time, a mix of fear, nervousness, and embarrassment showed clearly as her face turned red again. After a few moments of not moving, the girl sighed and dropped the edge of her dress, bending down to grab her supply belt again and re-clasp it. She would just have to wait until she could heal it, it wasn't that bad, after all...right? At least she had gotten the cut on her hand. Grabbing her armor and putting it back on her arm -- the gauntlet was a little tight around her hand with the bandages there, but it would do -- Arya took a moment to regain her composure, her expression returning to neutral as she stepped out from behind the pillar and made her way back to the rest of the group. It looked like Keir was already asleep, Ireth was looking pretty rundown, but was awake, and Pansa was...somewhere. Patrolling, she supposed. Sighing inwardly, the girl walked over to where she had left her scythe, slowly moving to lie down next to it. She supposed she should try to sleep, though she wasn't sure if she could. The girl glanced over at Ireth, still feeling a mix of empathy for the girl, and guilt for all that her shadow had said and done to her. She still wasn't sure what to say to her companion -- what could she say? So, she returned her gaze up to the ceiling, attempting to calm herself enough for her to get some sleep.

❀❀❀ Unila Crys-Feathri ❀❀❀

Unila watched in fascination as the pretty armour was pulled out of the bag, it's swirling colours of purple and black interested her. Even as it slowly fell to the ground. The next scene rushed by in a blur, she could barely keep up with the situation. All of a sudden she was on the floor, behind a wall of teal flames. Remembering Leh's earlier instructions, she hastily spoke "I-I'm sorry, I was mistaken, you are a dragon." Her words were nervous and cautious, also simple from directly following his commands. Realizing what she had done, and that she had obviously touched on a landmine, she pieced together the information. Irha...might be a hybrid. It was an absurd thing to suggest, but that was the only answer she could think of. She decided to all together drop the topic, and possibly interrogate Leh, if she had the chance. It wasn't like her to be so determined on knowing something, but she wanted to make sure not to harm Irha's feelings in the future. After a short silence of contemplation, she reiterated her reply "I am terribly sorry your highness, I was horribly mistaken. You are most definitely, a dragon." She gave a deep bow, expressing her regret, despite how hard it may be to see her through the flames.

Suddenly, an explosion of noises were heard above. The ceiling, it's age causing it's delicate structure, began collapsing on top of them. Large rocks fell around them, and as Unila located one falling straight towards Leh and Irha, she knew what she was going to do. As she ran through the flames, her body burning at the heat, she shoved the pair out of the way just in time, as she was covered by a mountain of rocks.
Hopefully...they're safe. Blood trickled down her head, as she realized she had taken a heavy hit. Her body wouldn't move, as every limb was restricted by some-sort of rock. All she could do, was lay there, in a rather uncomfortable position too.

Ireth nodded to Arya "we should focus on just getting out of here alive." she whispered. She watched Arya move behind a pillar to dress her wounds and then looked over at Keir who seemed to already be asleep. The elf caved in and laid down as much as she was afraid to sleep her body took over and said otherwise. Ireth's eyes slowly closed and she drifted off into unconsciousness.

Geir Brandr Ignatius

Location: Mining Village/Mines

With: Unila, Eihrodeign, Lani, Auluua, Leh, Irha / Near: Mavndrus, Leandor, Tioni

Good, Unila caught on and is apologizing, Geir thought with some relief, hoping that it would help to diffuse the situation. He wasn't about to move from his protective stance until he was sure that Irha would calm down, though. The sudden sound of something hitting and exploding on the ceiling above them, and the ceiling cracking, as well as the sound of a new voice caught Geir's attention. The dragon's eyes looked up, and widened as he saw the weakened ceiling start to collapse, but before even he had time to react, Unila was already pushing Leh and Irha out of the way. The dragon's flame wall immediately dispersed as the dragon attempted to grab Ila and move her out of the way in time as well, but he was thrown off by a piece of crumbling debris hitting his arm, knocking him off balance enough to where he missed the girl. As the ceiling finished crumbling and the girl was buried under the rocks, Geir's anger flashed in his eyes. His normally gold eyes swirled with a glowing blue that threatened to take over the entire eye, whites and all, mimicking the color of his eyes in his dragon form. There wasn't enough room for him to transform in the small cavern, otherwise he surely would have. Instead, teal flames burst forward all around the area, threatening to devour anything that provoked him any further. The fire dragon was in a rage, and not even Eirho's ice would be able to stop his flames now. However, since the dragon didn't know what, exactly, had caused the explosion and the falling rocks (and seeing as how there was a fit of laughter sounding throughout the cavern, similar to the laughter that had been following them throughout that further made it difficult to tell who, exactly, had attacked), the flames, at least, were not attacking anyone, though they burned hot and fierce.

Immediately after the rocks had fallen, and while Geir's eyes were changing and the flames were spouting up, the dragon had launched into action, his dragon-strength coming in handy as he literally threw the heavy boulders off of Unila, more than one being thrown towards the corner where Mav had retreated to, and where the new voice was coming from. The fire dragon had his suspicions of what had caused the ceiling collapse, and didn't like the prince anyway. He had barely even acknowledging the new voice that had come from that direction, though, his focus on getting Unila out of the rubble. Once the last piece of ceiling was thrown out of the way, Geir knelt down by the girl, about to check her pulse before realizing that, in his current state, he would only hurt her more if he touched her with his burning skin. "Someone, check her pulse!" he ordered, his voice deep like a dragons, though there was the hint of desperation in his voice -- he knew he wasn't by any means the leader of the group, but he hoped that someone, at least, would follow his instructions to make sure that Ila was okay. Standing up and turning to face the corner that Mav and Leandor had been in, Geir turned his furious gaze towards the elder prince, seemingly not noticing the younger one that had appeared. Steam hissed off of Geir's skin, a clear indication of just how furious he was, as he started walking towards them, fire around him burning fiercely. "You!" he growled, fists clenched. "Was it you?" he snarled, shaking with rage as he glared at the elf prince. Geir wanted nothing more than to burn the elf to a crisp right now, but he was attempting to restrain himself. Unila was hurt, and if, by some chance, it wasn't the elf prince's fault, then he would want to save that anger and power for the guilty party. I'll kill them, whoever hurt her. I WILL KILL THEM! the dragon thought, shaking with anger as he waited for the elf's reply.

Laughter echoed through the cavern at the ceiling's collapse, sounding maniacal and all too happy at the current state of events. As the dragon became furious and began throwing rocks off of the injured girl, a voice sounded in his head, something that only he could hear. "You know who did this. Who else has long-ranged attacks here? You were staring right at the newcomers, it couldn't have been them..." the voice trailed off momentarily before picking back up again, "...That prince, though, he would be happy to be rid of you all. He said so himself, didn't he? What was it, 'You shall die for your ignorance'?"

There was silence, now, until the dragon turned to confront Mavndrus. The voice then spoke up again, first letting itself only be heard by the dragon, "He'll deny it, you know. To save his own skin. He is the one who attacked, you should just take care of him now and be done with it!"

The voice changed over, allowing itself to only be heard by Mavndrus now, as it whispered to him. "Look at that beast, the inferior dragon! He dares to threaten you, a prince? Are you scared of him, do you think you'll die? You could kill him, if you wanted to. I could give you the power to do so..."

Kokoro Himura

Location: Desert Tomb

With: Raiquen, Eri, Thomas

Once Thomas had climbed onto her back, Kokoro stood. In her beast form, Kokoro was large, taller and longer than regular tigers and incredibly strong. While it was strange having someone riding on her back, it was easy enough for her to do, as she was certainly large enough and strong enough. Taking up position at the back of the group -- she wanted to make sure that she could keep an eye on Raiquen as well -- the tigress followed after Eri. She can tell where the traps are from that far away? Kokoro tilted her head to the side, a little bit amazed. That was definitely a useful talent, and would make traversing the dangerous tombs that much easier. The tiger took to time to look around as she walked, glancing up at the carved walls that were in remarkably good shape, depicting various carvings and etchings of animals, and people. Various scenes depicted offerings being made to a king, a king standing tall over a battleground, people bowing before him, so on and so forth. Clearly, as the stories she had heard indicated, this king was highly thought of amongst the people of the time.

Kokoro turned her attention forward and froze, muscles tensed, when Eri froze. Kokoro couldn't smell anything over the scent of burnt decay, her nose was still reeling after that. Unable to determine if there were any enemies up ahead by scent, the tiger became wary, tail swaying back and forth as she stalked forward, more cautious than before. "Aside from traps, can you sense anything else?" the tiger spoke to the the dragon in a quiet, growling voice that strained to make words.

Mavndrus and Tioni Favehari and Leandor Cyrus

Mavndrus sighed and dropped his brother off his back. "Tioni what are you doing here I was in the middle of something." Mav said little happy to see his brother but wasn't in the mood for a reunion. "Awe come on Big brother you dissapear agian I may add. For another 2 years looking for treasure this time and thats all I get. " Tioni smiled seeing his brother ws still the same. But the reunion was short lived as the cave shakes as the ceiling above the other group fell on top of them. Then a burning dragon guy walked towards them in a rage. "Stay back Tioni." Mav said. "OOO one of your friends!"

Leandor stepped in front of the two prince. "Prince Tioni a pleasure to see you, but you caught us at a bad time." He looked towards Geir "Geir please calm down the prince wasn't thinking straight. if you attack I would be obligated to retaliate, and I don't want to do that." Leader said trying to plead with Gier. At that time Mav heard the voice and laughed. Power? I have all the power I need to take down this buffoon.

"And if I did, do you think you can kill me."

Raiquen Nguyen

Raiquen was glad to continue on. Even to someone with a less powerful nose, the scent of burning flesh was unbearable. Also, their trip had been rather uneventful up to that point, and he secretly hoped for some action other than falling over again. He stumbled after Eri, glad that she seemed to be able to sense traps, and asked the ravens to tell him what their surroundings looked like to pass the time. It looks pretty much like what you'd expect a tomb to look like, Berhtram told him. There are narrow hallways, a few pillars here and there, and the walls depict images, probably of the King who rests here. Actually, it seems to be in good condition; the traps probably deter most people. It's - ack! No, don't stand there! Raiquen's foot came down on something's skeletal remains. It hurt, but he didn't trip up. Their presence was unnerving, though.

As they got farther into the tomb, however, Raiquen began to notice a growing feeling of dread.
It feels like there's something wrong with this place, Raiquen said uneasily. The two ravens agreed and noted that the others had stopped. He guessed that they sensed it too. As Kokoro asked Eri if she sensed anything else, he nervously awaited her answer, trying to be on his guard. With Thomas likely unable to help as much now that he had exhausted his energy, Raiquen knew that he would have to attempt to help out, though such a small space wasn't optimal for him.

"Are you so sure about that? It seems to me that you hide behind your pet. If left to face the...buffoon...alone, you would likely die," the voice suggested to Mavndrus, a small, mocking chuckle accompanying its words. "How are you supposed to be any sort of royalty when you can't even take down one lonely dragon on your own? Ah, but what a weak prince you are," the voice mocked. "Of course, you could prove me wrong...prove that you can take him down, and you'll be seen for what you truly are -- a prince, of noble birth, and a force to be reckoned with. Or, lose, and prove to yourself that you are weak without others, prove that you need more power, power that you have yet to learn..."

Fury. Flames rose up higher, burned hotter, as all Geir could feel right now was fury. "WASN'T THINKING STRAIGHT?" he bellowed, his already steaming skin now bursting into flames as his anger only grew. A furious gaze fixed on Mavndrus. "I know I can kill you, scum," he snarled, expression a sneer of hate, disgust, and anger. He was doing well, holding himself back from attempting to annihilate the elf, but his tightly clenched fists and shaking body indicated that he would not hold back much longer. He was trying to wait, to see if Unila...to see if she were alive. Even as he held himself back, though, his blue flames were creeping forward, towards the elf prince. He wanted to kill him, he couldn't stand the sight of his face. Since the elf had first approached them at the entrance of the mines, he had been pompous, arrogant, and altogether unpleasant, and now, now, he was a backstabbing, murderous piece of scum. Flames burned hotter and Geir clenched his teeth, his knuckles white as he couldn't clench his fists any harder -- they were actually beginning to bleed as his nails bit into the skin on his palms. I'm going to kill him, if Ila is dead, there won't be anything left of him to send back home to his stupid elf kingdom!
