Fantasy The Lost Treasure of Creation

Eri Zabelan
A frown stayed heavy on her face as her gaze held steady on the two sprawled on the ground. Bad essence, so potent it almost felt visable to the eye, was reaking from the two. Mind searching for a source other than them. Her knowledge was sure, they were being attacked. Very subtly and slowly. But there was no doubt. Kokoro did remind her about something the boy said. So that was his name. Raiquen, interesting for sure. But that was not her concern.

"I must agree, and disagree. Yes we cannot stay, but we cannot leave them. And I am not sure if it will be wise or foolish to move them. Alothough it will be better to move them. If I keep a steady wind below one I can keep hom afloat. You may take the other I presume?" Eri adressed Kokoro's first concern. But more dire matters she needed to speak about. "And I must agree with you. There is a dark essence emminating from them. And I am sure of it coming from some other source. We must find them, for I do not think these two will wake up for sometime, unless released by their captor, or if the captor is too weak to keep them captured." Eri spoke sollumnly, not likeinv the stituation one bit. Two of the people she had now promised to protect had fallen under a seige, which most probability pointed at a stranger Mage. Who lived and protected this tomb. Or just waited for some prey to play with.

Kokoro frowned, her expression clearly one of worry. Someone was holding her allies captive, and she was going to find out who, and when she did....Anger flashed in the tiger's eyes, as she thought of all the things she would do to whomever it was that had done this. "We need to hurry," Kokoro replied, before thinking of something. "Sorry, but just in case," she muttered to Thomas before taking his quiver and dumping his arrows on the floor. She had remembered that he had picked up some arrows from the trap earlier on, and right now she wasn't going to take any chances. Replacing the now-empty quiver to where Thomas had kept it, Kokoro then picked Thomas back up and pulled him up onto her back before changing into her tiger form once more. "You can take Raiquen, his ravens would probably be more comfortable having him in the air than on me," she mentioned in her growling voice, glancing back at the two ravens that were Raiquen's companions. Stalking forward, Kokoro was on high alert now, as she sniffed the air -- her sense of smell was still dulled by the terrible scent from before, but it was slowly coming back -- in an attempt to see if anyone or anything else of interest was close by.

Arya Tinuviel

Location: Temple Ruins

With: Ireth, Keir, Pansa, Vanathell

It was probably morning right about now, Arya figured. They really shouldn't linger in one place for too long, and they had probably rested up enough by now. Walking over to the wall that had separated them from the previous room, Arya drew back her arm with her fist clenched, then brought it forward in a powerful punch, hitting the wall in the weak spot that she had noted earlier. The wall cracked with a loud noise, and part of the room shook, most likely waking anyone who wasn't already awake. Repeating the punch a few more times, Arya chipped away at the wall until the area crumbled, leaving a rather large hole. That was really just so that Vanathell could join them instead of being stuck in the previous room. She hoped he wouldn't be too mad about her leaving him there all night, but...she really didn't trust him enough to have him stay in the camp overnight. Still, it seemed that he was fine, and hadn't run into too much trouble since they were separated.

Now that the entire group was back together, the blue haired girl turned and walked towards the opposite side of the room. "I found a way out. Let's go," she said neutrally, waiting for the others to respond. She was standing by a wall that had some debris in front of it. It was hard to see, but there was a large crack in the wall there that led to a different hallway. They had explored a lot of this temple already, and it was not likely that the treasure that she was seeking was here, so Arya was ready to leave and move on. She might take the time to do a quick sweep of the place now that the one who had been controlling the shadows was no longer there to attack them, but there were likely still a few lesser monsters within the temple that she would have to look out for if she did.

Keir Sullivan

Keir was awoken by a loud crash. Pushing himself up from his position on the ground, he looked around to see Arya punching a wall. He then flopped back onto the floor, glad that it wasn't another enemy attack, and noticed a vial next to him with a note on it. He wasn't entirely sure if he should actually take it or not, though; it wasn't guaranteed that Pansa's skills with remedy making were any better than his bandaging ability. Keir was just drifting off again, despite the repeated sound of Arya punching the wall, when she told them that she had found an exit. "Fine, fine. I'm up," he groaned, rolling over and getting to his feet. He really wasn't a morning person. Leaving the vial untouched, as he didn't trust it, he began searching around the room for his knife and any smaller treasures. As Keir quickly scoured the area, he found a few gold coins, which he quickly pocketed, but no knife. It looked like he would have to put that spike he had collected from the monster earlier to use sooner than he had expected. He then moved over to the crack in the wall Arya had discovered. "Hmm... It does look like a way out, all right. Oh well. Seems that this trip was largely unsuccessful for all of us. I guess we should be going," he commented. Moving some of the rubble out of the way, Keir peeked through the crack into the hallway. It was slightly lit up, seemingly from outside light. He continued shifting the rubble so that there was a gap at least large enough for him to fit through and slipped through to the other side. His suspicions were correct; the air was fresher here, and the source of light seemed to be from around the corner. Other passageways led off to the side, and could probably be searched for treasure, but Keir was getting tired of this temple and just wanted to get out. He approached the exit, then turned to wait for the others, seeing what they would do.

Pansa heard the faint movement of rubble and looked up to see Keir slip from the room. He had been able to shift the stones and slip through. Keir was probably sick of the darkness and stale air in the temple. The light from the cracks in the gap Keir opened up indicated there was an exit nearby.

Pansa finally took the time to examine his surroundings. He saw an object in the darkness not too far from him. He packed up his stuff and moved towards it. In a dark corner was a scroll that was very old and was pinned down with a small dagger. He had plenty of pointy things to stab things with. He put it away for later. He was positive someone would have some use for it. He unrolled the scroll and its content made him stare at it in sheer disbelief. Even the dungeon thought his bandaging skills sucked.

The scroll title read:

Combat Medicine 101

Pansa looked around quickly and swiftly pocketed the scrol for reading later. He followed Keir's tracks and exited the dungeon.

Ireth's eyes fluttered opened as she heard the pounding and the sound of rocks hitting the ground. She pushed herself up off the ground and yawned she found herself to be well rested. The elf looked at the hole that was made and the light that cascaded inside the dreary room. "To be outside again." She whispered.

She looked around and sighed the treasure she sought wasn't there and she shevbow wanted it more than ever with thought that Lyla could be out there. The elf looked over at Arya unable to really say anything to her. She remembered every word that the hybrid's shadow said to her and for that she wasn't sure if she could so easily let go of.

Ireth followed suit after Kier glad to be outside she held the jade dagger sheathed at her side and smiled seeing it's true beauty in the light. She looked at her company and then back towards the cave and wondered if this would be the end of their adventure together. She wondered if any of them would part ways altogether.

Arya followed the rest of the group out of the temple after they had all gone through the crack in the wall. She glanced at Ireth while she passed, but looked away quickly, still feeling guilty towards the girl. Her shadow had said some terrible things to the elf, and Arya didn't know what she could say to the elf now that she hadn't said earlier. A simple I'm sorry didn't seem to be enough. What was left of the blood that followed Arya -- there wasn't much left, as most of it had dried by now -- swirled guiltily by her feet, clinging around her ankles as she walked.

Relieved at being in the open air again, Arya took a deep breath of the fresh air. It was much better than being in that stuffy temple. She realized, though, out in the hot desert sun, that she was very, very thirsty. She had used up all of the water she had brought much earlier in the temple due to an attack, and she hadn't really gotten anything to drink, since. Also, she was very dirty...she was covered in dried blood from head to toe. She would probably cause panic amongst the townspeople if she tried to walk back into town looking like someone who had just committed a massacre. She would have to find a place to wash herself and her clothes, then, before she entered any new towns. All of this lack of water was now very frustrating to the girl, though it didn't really show on her face. "...I'm done with the desert. I'm going to search for what I'm looking for somewhere where there's water. Lots of it," she decided, talking out loud. It was strange, trying to open up to people again after all this time, but she did tell herself that she wanted to trust these people whom she had allied with. She didn't know if any of them would be continuing on with her, or if they would be separating to continue on their own paths, but at least by making her intentions known, they had the option to stay, if they wanted to. Perhaps it would be better if she continued on her own, though. There would be less of a chance of getting betrayed--no, I have to stop thinking that way. I said I would try to trust them, I can't be expecting them to turn on me at any time. That's not how trust works, she reminded herself.

Vanathell departed from the group once they were out of the temple, heading in his own direction.

Ireth turned to Arya looking at her. She knew what she searched for and if it was going to be just as dangerous as in the temple she would need an ally. "I'll go with you....water to freshen up would be nice." She whispered and smiled walking over to her. It was the first smile she had give Arya since the night before. Even so, it was the first smile at all.

She looked down at herself and grimaced at the dry blood on her and looked around at the others. She realizes just how much damage the temple had done to them physically but who knows emotionally. The elf turned back to Arya "if you help me find Lyla as you said to do then I'll help you find the treasure you seek." She said holding out her hand to shake on it. She knew that the hybrid would have a hard time accepting that offer given her trust issue.

โ€โ€โ€ Unila Crys-Feathri โ€โ€โ€

Health: Heavily wounded

Position: Leaning against a rock whilst sitting down.

Facing a teal haired man

Close to a dark-skinned woman

Appearance: Wearing a male's shirt, which acts as a short dress (Geir's)

A bandage wrapped around her head. (Cave-In)

A bandage wrapped around her right calf (Cave-In)

Bruises all over her body (Cave-In)

Bite and claw marks all over her body (Bat-Monsters)

Looks exhausted, but determined
Unila's eyes were drooping slightly, so she was startled when she realized there was a figure in front of her. Within a blur, she noticed a red-bottle, filled with an unrecognizable liquid, and tried to smile with gratitude. As she struggled, and attempted to get up once again, she somehow succeeded and slumped herself against a rock, still holding onto Geir's hand. As she carefully, with shaking hands, grasped onto the bottle, she slowly poured little sips down her throat, it widening her eyes and causing her to feel slightly less pain. After setting it beside her, still a decent amount left, she noticed Geir's hand slipping from her grasp, and moaned softly in sadness. She wasn't sure why she felt this way, for some reason, she wanted to stay with him at all times. It puzzled her, but she couldn't control herself at the moment. As Geir returned, she felt relief flooding through her body, only to be quickly replaced by confusion once again as Geir began speaking words she could not understand. Every noise was warping crazily within her mind, she wondered how serious her brain/head damage was, or perhaps it was a psychological effect.

As she was pondering this, using it as a method to escape her tiredness, she was suddenly faced with a powerful heat on her head.
pain...Pain..PAIN! She hadn't even noticed Geir's closeness till now, as she struggled and yelped to be free from the sudden burn. As the pain suddenly stopped, she noticed she was crying now, tears washing out the blood from her eye, as the blood flow had been stopped. A cool, soft cream-like substance traced along her wound, replacing the sudden burn with a relieving cold. Finally understanding what had happened, she smiled shyly and gratefully, embarrassed by her slow realization. As a bandage was carefully wrapped around her head, she was glad to have her eyesight no longer crimson red. It was blurry from her tears, but much better than before.

However, as she examined Geir, she noticed his shoulder had turned a crimson red, similar to the colour of her vision before. Hurriedly wiping the tears away, she tried to take a closer look at what had happened, and noticed an arrow. An urgent need to heal him flooded her mind, however, she knew about her exhaustion, and began crying again in frustration. It was painful, the fact that he was helping her, and that she couldn't help him back. The maniacal laughter filled the area, magnified and distorted within her mind, slightly startled, she jolted up in surprise. Suddenly, she realized her leg was being moved, and prepared herself for more pain. She managed to grit her teeth through the whole process, a few moans escaping her. As she had been successfully bandaged on the main wounds, she tried to move around, and awaken her joints so that she could get moving again, and hopefully understand what was going on, because Geir's figure had been blocking the view in front of her.

Keir Sullivan

As the others joined him, Keir was presented with a choice. He could either stick around with a few of them or go off on his own again. He mentally weighed his options. If he went off on his own again, he wouldn't have to worry about having others around, which could be nice. However, that would mean returning to the streets and going back to thieving to survive. On the flip side, staying with a few allies could be interesting, though dangerous. He came to a decision.

"Mind if I join you too?" He asked, tilting his head a little to the side. "I'm pretty curious to see what happens next, and I've got nothing better to do. Hanging out with you guys certainly beats hanging around in pubs, waiting to pickpocket people." He wasn't sure if Arya would let him tag along or not after the incident with the shadows, and he felt somewhat awkward as he waited for an answer. Keir turned his gaze out over the landscape. There was little vegetation on the arid edge of the desert, and most plant life consisted of short, dry grasses. A warm breeze blew past, causing the grasses to shudder. Past the field, the ground became sandy, and the dunes he had noticed before entering the temple rose high, obstructing further view. No matter where Keir looked, though, there was no water to be seen. He agreed with Arya and Ireth; a change of scenery would be much appreciated.

Mavndrus and Tioni Favehari and Leandor Cyrus

Tioni looked.up at the man. He was very intemidating and a bit of bloodlust emitted from him towards Favehari. Leandor stepped in front of Mavndrus. "Im sorry but i cannot allow you to threathen the prince in that manner." He meant no threat to the elder dragon but he couldnt allow that to be said and not intervene. Plus he pretty sure Mavndrus, hotheaded as he is, wouldve reacted negatively. Tioni was tired of being ignored so he stepped besides Leandor and inspected the man. "I am Dark Elf Prince Tioni Mavndrus, if you didnt know." he smiled to the big dragon man. The feathly stare put a chill in Tioni but he wasnt going to show his fear. "Well there will be no need for that, i was sent here by our father to reteieve my brother and Leandor. I cna phase through these walls along with others. And aince youve blocked us in i guess youll be coming with unless you want to break your way out the way you came in. Mavndrus didnt say anything the whole time because he was tired of wasting his breathe on these fools. "Quickly Tioni lets get out of here."

Pansa waited until Keir finished to say his piece.

"If my presence is not bothersome, I would like to tag along as well."

He rummaged through his pack for some scrolls he brought with him. Maps of various lands and dungeons around the area. His clan spend millennia before his birth mapping out various lands and secret dungeons. The maps were useful but to only single person they were more of a liability than useful. These maps were old and he hoped one of them were still useful.

"I brought maps of the area and surrounding lands. My clan had been mapping continents for ages."

He pulled out the dagger he found in the dungeon and held it out to Keir.

"Here. I figured you could get more use put of this than me. There is some inscription on it. I don't understand the symbols though."

Arya Tinuviel

Location: Temple Ruins

With: Ireth, Keir, Pansa

Arya looked at Ireth's outstretched hand, hesitating for a moment. Deals she had made in the past hadn't ended so well, and she was tempted to refuse for fear of getting hurt again. I said I wanted to trust them. This...is my chance to try. She held out her own hand, grasping Ireth's in acceptance of her proposed deal. "We'll...help each other," she agreed, the words sounding strange on her tongue, but also kind of nice. The blue haired girl looked over at Keir as he spoke, too. Right after Keir spoke, Pansa did as well. It seemed that both of them wanted to come along as well. Arya gave them both a nod to indicate that they could come as well, and a small smile appeared on her lips. She had put on a fake smile a few times in the temple, but this, this was her first genuine smile in a long, long time. Her smile didn't last long, though, as it felt a bit strange on her face at the moment.

"We should head out of here, at least back to town to restock supplies and choose where to search next," she suggested, then paused. "Pansa, are there any ponds or lakes marked on that map of yours between here and the town?" she inquired. She wanted to wash up before she set foot in town again, as there was no need to panic the townspeople with their bloody forms walking through town. However, she supposed that, if there wasn't, the town would just have to deal with it, and she would just have to find a bathhouse, or find an inn with a full bath that she could buy for a while to clean up in. Whatever happened, she was definitely not going to continue on for however many days being covered in blood and dirt and whatever other filth had accumulated during their search of the temple.

Ireth smiled and nodded to her and laughed as Arya asked for a pond or lake. "I suppose it wouldn't be good walking into town looking like we've been in a massacre." she said with a slight laugh and walked over to pansa to have a look at the map. "supplies would be good to restock up on and maybe come up with a plan." she said looking around at the group.

@Rin Nyx @Kuro Kitsune @Creekstar

Pansa scanned the map of the area they were in now and saw a marking an referred to the legend to see an explanation. He nodded to himself and looked at Arya. He pointed to the mark on the map.

"It seems there is a hidden onsen in this location. This map is old but everyone I asked said the things marked on this map were still 100 percent accurate. It was a well visited onsen many years ago. It was turned into private property by friends of my clan."

He pointed to another mark not too far from the first.

"This is a surplus store. Its run by a good friend of mine. She carries everything an adventurer would need. I don't think she ever had to order anything I ever asked for. She always has given me some good discounts."

He pointed at a third mark and looked directly at Ireth.

"We can venture here together after we rest up and restock on supplies. If you want information on someone and their whereabouts, you go here. However they don't ask for monetary compensation. Each piece of information has a different price."

He rolled up the scroll and handed it to Arya.

"Whenever everyone is ready, I'll take you to the onsen."

Keir Sullivan

Keir accepted the knife from Pansa. Its inscriptions were indeed strange; he had no clue what purpose they served. However, the knife would suffice. He looked over Pansa's shoulder at the map he had pulled out, but couldn't make any sense of it. To him, it was just a piece of paper covered in different symbols and markings. The man's words only confused him more, however. "Err... What's an onsen?" He asked. It was certainly no body of water he had ever heard of. Then again, he had never heard of a lot of things. Pansa seemed to be getting a lot of useful information from that map, though; he had already picked out multiple locations that would be necessary to visit. A surplus store, huh? He thought to himself. My sticky fingers may be able to pick up a few things on the cheap. Don't want to immediately lose the others' trust, though... He shrugged to himself, then turned to the rest of the group. "I'm ready to head out when you are," he told them.

Pansa looked directly at Keir and the others. He had forgotten that they were probably unfamiliar of some of the terminology he had just used.

"I should have clarified but an onsen is an oriental bath house in which the bath is filled with spring water. It's said to speed up healing and cure illnesses."

He looked at Keir whose fingers involuntarily twitched.

"And my strong advice is not to steal from the surplus store. The owner is scary when she is mad. I promise you will regret it if you enrage her."

He searched his pack for the items he was looking for and handed out small badges.

"This badges indicate you an honorary member of my clan. I ask you do not bring shame upon my clan or your self by doing anything frowned upon. These badges are taken seriously and anyone caught breaking any rules will be punished according to the tradition. I do not wish to see any of you punished. It is a brutal affair."

Arya Tinuviel

Location: Temple Ruins

With: Ireth, Keir, Pansa

Arya unrolled the scroll that Pansa had just handed her, attempting to read the map on her own. She really couldn't make heads or tails of it. At least Keir had Pansa clarify what an 'onsen' was, as she had no idea either. Her red eyes scanning the map, they paused over one area, lingering. The name of a particular village that she recognized. "...99 percent accurate. Unless it says something about this village being destroyed two years ago," she corrected quietly, pointing to what had been a small fishing village. She wasn't even sure if she spoke loud enough for anyone to hear her about the village. It wasn't necessarily on the way to where they were headed, anyway, and it was really the only thing that Arya could make out of the map, except for what she thought was the temple they were in now and the 'onsen' that Pansa had pointed out to her, so the girl rolled up the scroll once more, tucking it away into the pack on her belt.

When she returned her attention to what was going on, she realized that Pansa was trying to hand her some sort of badge. The girl shied away from the badge this time, shaking her head 'no'. She was trying hard enough to trust the three there already, she was no where near being able to accept being part of a 'clan', honorary or not. What was left of the blood from the temple spiked up around her feet, indicating her defensiveness and nervousness. Backing away from the offer of the badge, Arya instead turned to head towards the onsen that had been mentioned, trying to remove herself from the situation. "I'm going to find that bath house," she muttered simply, quickly walking away. Though her face held only her neutral expression, her insides were twisting with irrational fear over such a simple offer.

Keir Sullivan

Keir stiffened slightly at the mention of not stealing from the surplus store. How had Pansa known? He would have to watch out for that one. Off to the side, Arya muttered something, but he couldn't make out what. His attention was quickly drawn back to Pansa as the man held out a badge to him. The offer didn't sound particularly appealing to Keir, though; the badge didn't even look like it could be made useful if it was sold. "Maybe you shouldn't give me one of those badges. They seem like more trouble than they're worth. Besides, I can't really promise anything. Old habits die hard, after all, and I'd hate to shame your clan," he told Pansa, his final statement somewhat sarcastic.

Keir stepped back, further clarifying his desire not to accept the badge. The idea of brutal punishment was hardly comforting, after all. He saw Arya react in a similar way and followed her as she began walking, declaring that she would find the onsen herself. Hopefully the badges wouldn't be necessary, as there was no way he was getting tangled up in some clan business. He preferred not to feel tied down by rules. It baffled him that Pansa would even try to make them honorary members of the clan; after all, he barely knew them. With a shrug, Keir continued walking.

Ireth raised an eye brow at Pansa and looked at the badge. "I'm not sure I'm comfortable with being apart of a clan that I know nothing about and have to worry about breaking laws. My people may have been wiped out but I live on and my mission is to kill Lyla." She stated simply and caught up with Arya.

Eri Zabelan
ErI dipped her head and stood. Casting a weary glance at the two on the ground. It hurt her to see two in such, strange pain. They may look peaceful to a passing eye, but when one looked closer they would notice more detail. The small strain on Raiquen's face, small wrinkles almost making it look like a frown. But no muscles were moving to make the expression complete.

Thomas's face was more clear, small beads of sweat spotted his forehead. While a his jaw was more tense than usual. And if one looked close enough, they might have been able to see a light sheen of illusion magic. Quickly shaking her head of her primal thoughts, Eri blew out. Her breath making a small thin ever flowing gust of wind below Raiquen. Concequently having him float up. Slowly she moved him ahead of her, so she could see where she was moving him. It wouldn't be the best to have him hit is head on a stray rock.

"I won't be able to sense the traps as easily now. But I should be able to maintain myself. I just am pulling from a reserve. If we really need it I'll use my Magic." Eri spoke softly. Although she was using her magic now, it was not what she concidered her Magic. Wait until she got angry, then there would be debts to pay. @Rin Nyx

Thomas Nightingale

Thomas glanced around worried. Where was he? Why wasn't he being tortured anymore? Was this some trick by the Mage? Pretend to give him a break, only to suddenly spring something on him? All thoughts shattered the second he heard Raiquen start to scream. Thomas quickly ran over to where he heard the scream for help, seeing some scientist grab Raiquen, proceeding to drag him over to a table. Thomas glanced around worriedly, there wasn't any way to get past the cell's bars. Thomas frowned, believing that there had to be someway to get to Raiquen. A cold chill went down his spine. What if this was what the Mage wanted. For Thomas to see his friend tortured, and make it so he himself was helpless to do anything about it. Pacing around, Thomas realized that this wasn't the case. Thomas could look away, which was vastly different than every experience before. It was almost as if the Mage and illusion were ignoring him. For who? Shock filled Thomas' body, as he turned back to Raiquen. It really was Raiquen. There would be no other reason why he was getting tortured, and not him. Now truly desperate, Thomas realized that he could help Raiquen. Blinking his tears away, he gripped his bow tight, he nocked an arrow, and shot it at the scientist, impaling him in the heart. The cell around Raiquen collapsed as he raced over to help his friend. Seeing Raiquen writhing in pain, emotional or physical, Thomas quickly unchained Raiquen, and gently stood him up. "It's okay Raiquen, we can get through this." Thomas paused and looked at the small boyish figure. "Together". The illusion shifted, and Thomas was once again alone. He was frantically looking around, trying to find Raiquen, only to be met with utter silence. Cautiously walking forward through a tunnel, Thomas found a town. Frowing at the town, he realized it was his town. Creeping forward, he was relived to see Raiquen already there. Something was off though, not with Raiquen, but the utter silence of the town. What was going on? Moving forward, Thomas glanced worriedly around, trying to assess any danger.

Raiquen Nguyen

Raiquen's eyes widened in fear as the scientist grabbed him by the collar of his cloak, beginning to pull him down the hall to another room. He tried desperately to escape the grip of the tall man, but his attempts were futile. He began calling for help again. "Help! Someone, please!" He screamed, tears of fear now falling from his eyes. They reached the lab, which looked almost like a normal cell, but was bigger and full of equipment. Suddenly pushed forward, Raiquen tumbled through the open door. The scientist, of course, stepped inside next. He locked the only exit behind him. Before Raiquen could react, he found himself once again in the scientist's grip, being pushed up onto a table.

The scientist quickly shackled him to the table, ensuring that he couldn't escape. He didn't notice that Thomas had appeared outside the cell. The scientist then sat down on a chair next to the table, opening a journal. "Now then," the man said, "let's see what you'll be helping me with today. Hmm... Ah, yes. You're testing out a new compound for me. It could have many applications if it works." He held up a small vial in a gloved hand; Raiquen began to tremble uncontrollably at the sight. The scientist grabbed his mouth and forced it open, slowly moving the vial to pour it in his mouth. The liquid inside was of a neon color, which was never a good sign. Raiquen struggled harder against his bonds, tears streaming from his eyes. Suddenly, however, an arrow impaled itself in the scientist's chest. The already stained lab coat that the man wore quickly turned crimson as blood flooded out from the mortal wound.

The illusionary scientist quickly disappeared along with Raiquen's shackles. The small boy fell to the floor. Still shaking, he curled up and wrapped his wings around himself.
Never again, he thought. I'll never go back. Calming down somewhat, but still preferring to remain curled up on the floor, he became aware that Thomas was talking to him. He had missed the man's words, though. Suddenly, he felt the world around him shift again, and opened his eyes. He found himself on the ground in a town. Thomas was a little ways away. The town was eerily silent; aside from Thomas, there was no movement. Pushing himself up from the ground, Raiquen wiped away the tears that covered his face. Now that the previous illusion was gone, anyone looking at Raiquen might doubt that it had ever happened, as he had regained his usual composure. He began exploring.

@PyschoticDreamz

((It wasn't a problem this time, but you're getting a little too close to controlling Raiquen. Be careful not to have him do anything I haven't already said that he did.))

Pansa sighed and put the badges away. He already knew where it was so he would wait for them there.

"Alright then. Just don't take anything. All I ask is that you respect them. They are good friends of mine."

With that, Pansa waved and made his way to the onsen. He hadn't been there in what was forever. Onsen was politely putting it. It was actually a training camp. He would definitely need to make it there first and disarm the traps. It hadn't been in use for 50 years. The place was simply too far from any civilization to be useful. It didn't have any clansmen stationed there since it had been abandoned and its location had been removed from updated maps. However he had taken an old map to ensure its location was findable in case he needed use of it.

He ran at a neck breaking pace to make sure to make it there first. Arriving and spotting none of his makeshift team, he jumped over the hidden pitfall and turned on the safety so they wouldn't fall in. He disarmed the onsen's trap so it wouldn't hurt or kill them. He spent the next ten minutes disarming traps and keeping an eye out for them. He was sure they could manage the bladed swinging pendulums in the foyer. What person wasnt able to do that? Dodging them was child's play.
