As Saki approached the camp she saw a figure run past her, carrying a shirt. She quickly ran after him saying: "Hey?! Could you, like, stop for a second? Please?" As she caught up with him, now running alongside the person.

Nicholai skidded to a stop as he seen the girl running next to him. "ummm yeah, hi" he looked down at her.

 

[Church Burning]

Niko looked up at him, tears brimming her eyes. "I-I'm sorry.." She managed before running off into the forest, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I never meant to be mean.." She whimpered.

James stopped growling after Niko ran off, he was still mad at her. He then sat back down on his new ground and muttered,"Serves you right." The fur along his body went back to it's original state, and simply tried to doze off once more.

Having achieved his attention, Saki asked: "Uh, do you mind if I test out my invisibility on you? It's just that I think I would be able to turn you invisible as well." She stuttered, feeling slightly silly for asking.

"You killed a bear!" Jennifer looked at Kat with awe, smiling to show that she was proud of her.


"Still I don't think I'm any good at cutting open a bears insides. Is there anything I can do?"

[Church Burning]

She ran and ran until she found a small cave. She breathed heavily and looked down at her pants. They were ripped and torn, her legs bleeding. She gathered some sticks and put them inside the cave, sitting inside as well. She lit the sticks on fire and made a little ring of fire around her. She hugged her bleeding knees and cried. She felt like she hadn't cried in a while and she shuddered. She laid back and stopped crying. "All I do is hurt people.." She muttered, her memory before the helicopter flooding back like a painful wave of broken glass.

Nicholai smiled sweetly "Sure thing dear" he looked around "what should I do?" he sat on the ground.

Saki smiled, through quite shyly, at him. She sat down beside him and offered her hand. "If I'm touching you and then I turn invisible, I'm pretty sure I can turn you invisible too." Saki replied, looking slightly excited.

Nicholai laughed "ok lets give it a try". He put his large hand in hers and waited.

 

[Church Burning]

She remembered training in the army, keeping her talent a secret. She was a marine, as was her father. One day, her father went into battle and never came back. She lost it and her powers were shown. She had hurt her friends and family, killing them or putting them in the hospital. She then went on the run, for a year or two, finding work when she needed it. She had finally settled down, then she was kidnapped and put to sleep. Niko laid there, remembering. "I don't think I should see people again.,I don't want to end up hurting them..especially James..I feel like I had hurt him enough.." She said quietly to herself, creating a small shelter out of stone for her to sleep in. She laid down and napped.

Katie then activated her power, her invisibility flickering around her for a second before enveloping Nicholai too. "Yay! It works!" She said in delight, feeling lucky that it worked and did not just do nothing, making her look silly. "Thanks!" She said before skipping away to find James and tell him the great news.

Nicholai nodded "No problem" He then sent her a thought "your invisibility wont hide you from me" he laughed finished gathering the stones and then walked over to Eden putting them at your feet "all in all I think I did good" he smiled a half smile and debated putting his shirt back on but decided to leave it on the ground. He sat down watching Eden use her powers.

Kat looked back and saw a shirtless Nicholai and Eden together. She smirked and went up to him. "The last time I saw you, you owned a shirt," she said jokingly.

Running over to find James, she suddenly had a thought: "Your invisibility won't hide you from me." Saki stopped in her tracks, feeling slightly surprised before realising it must have come from that random guy she had experimented on. 'I don't know who he is, must be new here.' She thought, thinking that the guy was probably a bad person, 'Considering the thought he just sent me, he must be.' Saki continued on her quest and soon found James, who was asleep. She then walked off a short distance, promising to herself that she would tell him later, and fell asleep on the ground.

Carl put the buckets down and turned around to see Kat, he looked at her, but said nothing as not to interupt. he stood by the buckets he had put on the floor so nobody kicked them or whatever, they were made of plants.

Nicholai read Sakis mind and sent "i'm not a bad person I promise' He looked over at kat "yeah but they are so overrated" he grinned his big toothy grin and winked at her jokingly. He was finally comfortable around everyone but he couldn't fight the feeling of the vacant hole in his heart.

Carl just had the greatest idea. for a while he had wanted to share experiencing his extreme speed with somebody else, and he just realised how, but he could only do it with one person. "hey Kat!" he said excitedly, hoping she would say yes to his next question, "would you like to go at about 300 metres per second?" he asked, smiling a little.
