Ikuto then began on his way home.

"Well that does sound nice" she said with a small smile and a nod "I've never heard of waffle fries though, they taste the same as normal ones right?" She asked curiously.

Nexus nodded. "A little yes... Except they were after the chip itself. They wanted to see how it works." He explained.

Nanami nodded, "I'm okay with going half and half. Where should we eat? I don't exactly know what I want to be honest." She said with a slight frown.

Levi nods. "Okay" she says following him


 

Ayen nodded "Well, in the mean time, i think i'll entertain the kids." he said as he pulled on a shirt before walking over and pecking her forehead.

Amaya nods and layed her head down. "Night" she says

Lumina moved a bit away from him, shrugging off her jacket. Her wings had been feeling a bit stiff and it was probably easier to move around with them not folded against her back. She extended them out, nearly wincing at how stiff they really were. As of late she hadn't really exposed them all that much, so they weren't used to being anywhere but closed on her back. Either way she stretched them out, looking at Kenji, waiting for him to start.

Lumina had been a bit lost in thought, so Kenji's compliment seemed to come out of nowhere. A furious blush found her face and she almost retracted them out of embarrassment, but instead simply dropped her gaze to the ground, playing with the hem of her shirt.


"A-ah, well... t-thanks..."


Her wings were something she was very self conscious of. She loved them, of course, but always got nervous showing them to people, and most often she wouldn't even show them at all. To hear Kenji of all people compliment them meant more to her than she'd admit aloud.

As Kenji asked that, her gaze shot up to him and her wings retracted a bit subconsciously. Nobody had ever really asked to touch them, they just- she dispelled the thought from her mind, still looking at Kenji with a blush on her face.

"I-I... w-well, I mean... i-if you really want to, they're nothing special, o-or anything..."


She looked away again, shyly opening her wings back up, but this time to their full wingspan.


The wings looked strong yet slender, matching Lumina's physique. The feathers were multiple shades or oranges, reds, and yellows, making them look like they embodied fire themselves. The very tips of the end feathers were the color of freshly spewn ash. Lumina really loved the colors.

It was an interesting sensation, feeling Kenji's hands running over her feathers. His touch was so gentle it almost took her by surprise, but she stood still, trying not to run away from embarassment. This was the most intimate thing she had ever done, and it wasn't even that bad. Here she was letting a boy touch her wings. It was now that she knew how much she trusted Kenji, if she was willing to let him in so much to do this.


"T-t-thank you... I-I try to take good care o-of them..."


Lumina somehow managed to raise her eyes, looking on to Kenji as she watched him and his hands, her blush only darkening.
