Lumina didn't move for another moment, before suddenly blushing harder than she had been previously.

"T-t-that was...."


He had really kissed her. Holy crap. Looking over at Kenji, she looked at him nervously, still trying to wrap her head around everything. She had just been kissed, called his pair (which she didn't really understand) and now Kenji was freaking out. What an interesting turn of events.

Lumina blinked, not really expecting an apology from Kenji. She came to her senses a bit, fixing her hair nervously.


"N-no, its okay, I was just surprised is all..."


Thinking about it, she was confused how okay she was with it. Like it was a surprise and frankly her first real kiss (if she had had any other ones, she didn't remember them), but she felt alright with it. She might even go as far as to say she kinda liked it. She looked away a bit before speaking again.


"Y-you, um, said I was your... pair? Um..."


That was the part she was the most confused on still.

Lumina blinked as well, trying to process what that meant.

She paused for a moment, looking away, thinking about it. A small almost disbelieving smile found her face as she spoke again.

"T-that's a pretty big claim. How can that be me?"


She didn't really think someone like herself would be the pair of someone as amazing (in her mind) as Kenji.

Lumina thought for a few moments about that. How did she feel when she looked at him? Her eyes moved up to look at him, and immediately she felt happier and calmer than before. Hell, just being around him made her feel that way.

She hoped that's what he was looking for. It was probably more than that, but she was bad at expressing how she felt. Or, for that matter, understanding feelings.

Lumina matched his gaze with a small smile of her own, relieved that she had said the right thing. For a moment Lumina just looked at the hand that Kenji held out, confused what was happening. Why was he holding it out? Did he want her to grab it? With a smile and a nod, Lumina walked next to Kenji as they made their way toward food. Part of her still couldn't believe about the pair thing (due to a lovely lack of self confidence) yet here she was, walking hand in hand with him on the way to go on a date with him! It almost didn't seem real, but what she did know was just how lovely it was. Soon the restaurant came into view and her stomach rumbled again, to her dismay.


"I must have been hungrier than I thought..."

Roland thought for a moment while rubbing his chin "well, seeing as we just ate breakfast, how about now?" he asked as he looked at her
