Makoto stretched his arms, and walked out of his workplace. He'd been working all day and decided he needed to relax. The pub being the obvious answer, he headed there. When he got there, he saw someone across the bar reading. Sounded like his type of socialite. He walked up to the bar and asked for scotch. One ear-bud in he sat there and slowly sipped his glass, contemplating reading as well.

Scarlet:*Sitting in the booth in the corner, reading manuals and statistics on cafes and Maid cafes to be exact. Being a Chattan she wanted to make sure that offering a proposal to buy the towns cafe and turn it into a franchise was a wise decision.*

Kai looked up from his book to notice a girl sitting in the corner reading what looked to be manuals on something. He put his book away and walked over before speaking up, "May I sit? I see you're reading manuals about..." Kai looked closer at the book for a moment and noticed the word "cafe", "Cafe statistics? Not exactly what I expected..." Kai smiled trying to be kind rather than seem rude in any way.

"Business? Fair enough. My name is Kai Evans, I own a weaponsmith not far from here." He held out his hand in greeting and smiled, she must be trying to start up a cafe and he did like cafe's.

Makoto turned his head and saw the conversation sparking. He thought to himself, Dammit Makoto, you gotta make friends somehow. He bought a round of scotch and walked up to the two, "Am I intruding?"

"Well technically speaking I am, but I found my way around and now I own my own shop. It's not very busy but it pays off at the end of the day." Kai took out his book and flipped through the book before placing it on the table, "This is my entire life pretty much. Had to survive on my own and this took my interests. Besides, I have nothing else to lose." Kai stopped talking realizing he was speaking too much, "Anyway, you're looking to start a cafe right? You should let me know when you start one up and I'll be sure to show up. I've been dying to see a new cafe around."

Kai noticed Makoto and nodded, "Nah, you're fine we were just chatting about business things, anyway my name is Kai Evans, good to meet you." Kai held out his hand to the newcomer and smiled keeping to his friendly vibe.

((Its okay. Work called me in anyway, c) Makoto smiled as he gave each person their drinks and then shaking Kai's hand. He said, "I'm Makoto, I'm not new to here. Just new to socializing."

Riku walked out of the alley, her head lifted up and a bright smile on her face. "Today's a great day to be alive, right Noma," she said telepathically to the bunny in her hands, who's response was in agreement. Riku smiled and turned to look at the abandoned building that she had called her home for the past two days. "I'm glad we found that building, Noma. I don't want to live in a cardboard box on the street like an abandoned puppy," she said quietly to herself and the bunny, then turned and walked down the sidewalk, still smiling brightly.

Riku paused before saying, "I'm Riku, and this is my bunny Noma." Say hello, Noma, she said to the bunny in her head. Noma made a bunny noise (whatever that noise is lol), and twitched her noise at the twins.
