Fantasy A Guild of Their Own

Sick? That didn't sound right. The little thing just hatched! And do dragons even get sick? She glanced back at the dragon. It was hopping around trying to play with the others. It certainly didn't look sick... Then again, it's a dragon.Everything she'd read was a lie. Maybe baby dragons have a higher risk than full dragons? Maybe she should talk with Elder Leopold. No matter how this voice sounded, it was a voice. She trusted the Elder more, despite what the voice said.

She started to leave the creche to search for Elder Leopold.

(hey just a quick question and im asking it here because im typing up a post already, where is kamelia right now?)

Brutus sit patiently waiting for Kemelia to show up, but he's losing it.

"Don't tell me..."

He stood up in front of Altazura. "Al, open the Big Eyes!" Brutus commanded.

"Stare deep." Altazura said, then its eyes glow and connected with Brutus' eyes.

"She's seeking The Elders for answer."

Brutus mumbled, he closed his eyes. "If those bastards found out, they're gonna do it again...Al!" Brutus said "We're going back."

(hmm... wait, is the camp even close to civillisation and is there any way i can find her?)

((Go and read the last post on page two. Don't know if it gives any sort of sign as to how you might find the headquarters, but you'll have an idea on how far it is from the town))

Kemelia was basically walking in a random direction. She had no idea where Elder Leopold was. And the thought of her dragon being sick worried her to the point that she couldn't just search for him. She didn't want to leave in search for Adelia either, because that would take too long as well as get her lost. She needed help. Then an idea struck her. She sort of knew where the infirmary was. She could ask Morgan for help.

She walked quickly and knocked and waited for an answer, shifting on her feet anxiously.

(It's in the midst of a large forest expanse. The only thing between the headquarters and the town is Adelia's hut as she's responsible for protection and supply gathering, so she's been allowed her own small home in the woods. She's the town hermit XD)

Adelia smiled over at Carlos. "It's just the time of day.. The woodland gets dark before the town." She said matter-of-factly. Getting bored of the slow pace, she frowned. "Allen, Carlos, hold on to me. I'm going to take us just a bit faster. We want to be there before dark." She looked at the two, hoping they'd trust her. She had one of those faces - trustworthy. At least she thought she did.

Morgan heard the knocking at his infirmary door. "Hmm? Oh, Kemelia. What a lovely surprise. Are you hurt?" He saw her at the door and, despite knowing her for all of 5 minutes, was worried that she had gotten injured again. That was just his way though. He cared about everyone who came through the headquarters... All except one person. Someone who was particularly nasty. Because of this one person, Morgan developed a way of determining the good from the bad. Kemelia, as far as he could tell, was good. She seemed a little nervous and scared about the tamer business, but to Morgan she had a good heart. "Come in, come in." He stepped aside to allow her entry.

Kemelia gave him a smile as she stepped inside, one that was half real and half nervous. It was nice to know she was cared about so soon. "I'm not hurt," She replied. "But..." How on earth was she going to say that she heard a voice telling her her dragon might be sick? She'd probably sound crazy, or at least odd. But if she kept it secret, it might cause problems for her dragon. "Um, I might some hep though."

"Anything, what's wrong?" Morgan looked at her, his concern evident on his facial features. "I'll do what I can to assist you." He offered her a half smile, trying to make her feel more comfortable with him. He couldn't let someone in need go by without attempting to help her. He'd never do that. Morgan silently vowed, years before, to do everything in his power to help them if they so required it.

Carlos took Adelia's hand. He couldn't figure it out but he did trust her. They had only met today but he could help trusting her. "Ok but speeding through the dark can be dangerous," Carlos focused and summoned another orb of light that he let hover above them lighting the way for a good ten feet. "This should help." Carlos had suddenly realized that Adelia hadn't even questioned his magic eairlier. As if it was a normal part of life. No many mages where in his home town so his abilities where not the norm there. "By the way? Do you have a special talent? I noticed that you seemed pretty unphased by the flash I made earlier."

Kemelia started playing with her hair. She started it now. "I heard a voice... I-It said my dragon might be sick, the one I brought in. I wanted to talk to Elder Leopold but I don't know where he is. I was wondering if you could help me. Whatever you can do at least."

"That buzzing noise you heard earlier. That was me. I can manipulate and mimic different sounds and their frequencies. I can also use it to move me faster, if I generate a high enough frequency at a high rate." Adelia grinned, her grip on his hand subconsciously tightening a little. "Allen, will you trust me?" She looked over to her other companion with a quizzical expression.

Morgan's face became serious. "I'll have a look. I can't use my healing magic on the dragon the same way, but I can still sense illness and I'll be able to kick start its immune response." He realised he may have sounded as though he was spouting gobbledegook, but he didn't know any way of making it simpler. "I can also hand make a medicine for whatever illness your dragon may have, although that will take a bit of time. Here, let's go see what's wrong first." He threw a reassuring smile her way before opening the door to the infirmary once more. "After you, m'lady."

Kemelia felt a little relieved. Morgan didn't question the first thing she said, about hearing a voice. She'd have to talk to Elder Leopold later though. And that's fine, but after she makes sure her dragon is alright. She returned his smile and stepped out the door. She decided to let him lead the way even though she knew where to go, she just liked to follow.

Morgan moved quickly through the different groups of tamers. He recognised each face that was there, as each and every tamer had, at one point, passed through his doors. The infirmary had been upgraded multiple times to allow for him to admit more patients. Dragon taming, as they all knew, was very dangerous. Everyone got injured at some stage, especially on their first taming assignment. "Would you carefully pick your dragon up for me, just so I don't accidentally read the health of the wrong one."

"Hold on tight." Adelia grinned at the two either side of her, holding their hands as tightly as she could. Suddenly, they were being propelled along by visible waves of sound. This was something Adelia rarely did, as it drained her quite a lot. The energy drained could easily be regained by eating, however. They reached a few meters from the edge of the forest in far less time than usual, and stopped all three of them. "I probably should have warned you that you might feel a little sick afterwards..."

Kemelia nodded and went over to her dragon, who had perched itself in the sitting position when it saw her coming. She carefully scooped it up into her arms and held it out for Morgan.

Morgan closed his eyes, hands out over the dragon. He could feel it's steady heart rate, and could sense no illness coming from the dragon. "Your dragon is perfectly healthy. It's doing just fine, don't you worry. I'll get the keepers to keep a special eye on it and to alert me immediately if anything changes." He looked at Kemelia with a smile, knowing the knowledge should make the girl relieved. "You said it was a voice that told you your dragon was sick? What did the voice sound like?" Whomever the voice belonged to knew dragons were still alive, which meant they were a tamer. Or an ex-tamer, and only one tamer had lived after betrayal.

"I sounded like a man's voice." Kemelia replied. She felt relieved that her dragon was alright, but the voice lied to her. "He told me to take my dragon to where he was so he could heal it." She was suddenly scared. The voice lied to her to get her to go to him. And who knows what he planned on doing. She hugged her dragon a little tighter.

"How did his voice sound, can you remember? It's okay if you can't." Morgan didn't want to burden the girl too much with trying to remember. All that was important was Kemelia and her dragon remain safe. If anything happened to either of them, Morgan wouldn't have rested until justice had been given.

"No. It kinda...faded." Kemelia replied, shaking her head. "All I remember is that it was a man's voice and that he gave me directions to his location." Now that she thought about it, it sounded terrifying. She's glad she decided not to follow the voice. She might have gotten in major trouble if she left.

Carlos stumbled bit but was other wise fine, "I'm ok. I'm used to high speed but that was pretty cool!" He looked at the town ahead of him. It looked nothing like he imagined. In towards the middle was a large building  resembling a fort. "So this is Anexial? What's that place in the middle?" Carlos pointed to the large structure.

Standing by various beakers and flasks, the young alchemist dabbled with various substances ranging from liquids to powders. As Ariana was brewing a strange concoction, an all to familiar knock came to her door. Thud Thud! Ariana gave an explosive sigh and stopped working on the eerie brew before her, storing some of the more dangerous regents. As Ariana left the small room, she made her way to the thick sturdy door. She unlatched the large deadlock and crack the door ajar. Her eyes were cold as she stared out into the world. There was a young boy. Her looked no older that thirteen. She gave the boy a smile from behind the gap between the door.

"Hello, sweetie?" Ariana greeted, "Is there something you need?"

The boy looked up at Ariana, his face bruised and hair more that just ruffled.

"I need help." The boy requested.

"Oh, with what, sweetie?" Ariana replied, unsure of what he meant by "help".

"I need some poison to kill a bad person." The boy uttered as he struggled keep his composure, tears slowly began to pool at the corner of his eyes.

Ariana looked at the boy somewhat apatheticly; she had seen so many tears and heartache from behind her desk that her heart grew resilient to many emotions. As the boy quietly sobbed, Ariana had a good look behind the boy to see if she was being set up; the alley that Ariana resided had little places to hide. With a small nod, Ariana opened her door and allowed the boy to venture into the devil's den. The door behind the boy shut and sealed.

"Now tell me," Ariana said as she rested her elbows upon the wooden desk, "How did you find me?"

The boy looked very small sitting , he was like a doll propped up against the back of the chair.

"Someone told me that you'd be here if I need help." The boy answered.

Ariana's brow raised at the boy's statement.

"So, am I your guardian angel?" Ariana mused. The boy shock his head.

"He told me to come to you expecting to sell my soul." The boy responded, "Do you really devour souls?"

Ariana gave an unladylike snort before breaking into a laughter.

"Oh dear, is that what they are saying behind my back?" Ariana laughed. "Yes, Yes! I munch you delectable souls. They have a nice fluffy texture."

The boy laughed nervously , unsure whether Ariana was joking.

"I'll tell you what, I'll help you out. But I don't come cheap, though something trivial like this won't cost your soul." Ariana said with a smile. After a lengthy conversation between the two about the boy's problem, Ariana thought it would best just give the boy a small dose of temporary mind poison. The poison won't harm his bully, but rather mess with the mind subtly making the boy appear more threatening than he is. This poison only costed the boy a single gold piece, an amount he'll pay off before the next full moon.

Brutus is moving through the forest, heading to the headquarter . No sight of Altazura around him.

"The old geezer should have found out about the dragon right now." Brutus thought to himself "Let's just hope the others wont."

Standing in front of the gate, Brutus stared straight right at the Dragon Headquarter.

"It's been a long time." He smirked. "Way too long."

*Bamf!* With a black smoke and purple lights exploded, Brutus teleport right into Leopold's office, standing right behind him.

"Master..." Brutus said with a smile "Your beloved protégé is back..."
