Rebecca jump off Manda and shot more flame at Dante. Manda constricted tighter.


 
Reed got worried. "What is he doing?"

Alice gasped, "How could you say that to yourself? That's so terrible." She picked the cat up from her lap, and cradled him in her arms."It's okay, don't listen to him, he's just jealous that you're cuter than he is."

He looked around, flailing his arms dramatically. "He's me! What do you mean?!"


Chester started to leak more water as his grip on Reed's hand got tighter "You'll see"

Dante was thrown back off of Rampage when the flames hit him. Rampage shrunk to a smaller size to escape Manda's grip and ran to Dante, returning to normal size when he did.

He looked around, flailing his arms dramatically. "He's me! What do you mean?!"

"I simply mean that cat you is cuter than human you. If you ever enter a beauty pageant, enter as cat you. You'd definitely win first place. Human you, eh, maybe third. Second if you're lucky."

He looked at her and chuckled, kissing her hair, causing his to copy it now. "Let's go across and walk all the way back" He snapped and they were on the other point of the island
He squinted and stared at the cat. "Fuck you Zaphkiel. You're a horrible person I hope you choke on a hairball"

Katie looks at the lake and forest before her. She smiles and let's go of Zaphkiel. She spreads her arms wide and laughs. "It's beautiful Zaphkiel!" She turns to him and smiles. She couldn't wait to explore with him. She turns to him and slightly flinches. She's never had a moment to stare at him for long and examine his features. His eyes seemed sad but then again they also held an inner beauty. Though his eyes did make a chill run down her spine. It made her want to be by his side at all times. She wouldn't dare leave his side for fear that something may break further in his eyes. But she knew she had to go soon. She approaches him and wraps her arms around him. "How could I do that? If I'm traveling the continent it has to be with you. I want to see everything together. Not just by myself with you standing in the distance." She looks up into his eyes.

He hated that he couldn't hide from her. Not ever. Anyone else, even his own mother, yes. But not Katie. She could see everything in him. He smiled sadly at her. "I'd love that"

"Nope, not crazy. I'm being realistic. Cats are more beautiful than any other creature out there. I mean, I'm not a bad looker as a human, but I bet if I was a cat, I would be pretty gorgeous. Cats win every time," She said in all seriousness, continuing to stroke the cat, "Its just a fact of life."

Kaylee fell off as he shrunk but Manda caught here. "Thanks" she said rubbing his head. She looked at Dante. "Come on get serious I know you stronger than this." She shot a barrage of flames at him while Manda shot acid with all six heads in a swirling motion.

Do you mind carrying me?" She wraps her arms around his neck and whispers the rest into his ear. "This passionate moment has been making me weak in the knees. I hope you don't mind." She wanted to continue this journey. She could walk, it was just an excuse to feel like his special girl. She wanted to be in his arms, feel his heart beat, and possibly fix the cracks in them with her own. She would do anything in the world for this one love of hers if he simply asked.

A blade of pure white flames covered her hand. "If you don't fight I'll kill you." The fire extended at him. "How do you expect to win the next fight?"

"Well just in case you have a situation in which you're exploring the continent again. Just know that you can explore to your hearts content because there are people like me down on earth protecting it!" Katie grins and plucks several flowers up from the ground. She hands them to Zaphkiel to mess around. "Well don't you look fine today? Mind coming back with me to my hotel? It's a five star." Katie waves her hand and five sparks shoot out of her hand. She was facing him and was walking backwards.

"Dante what are you doing get your head straight and focus, forget about your promise for right now we have a fight to win!" Rampage screamed at Dante. Rampage lifted Dante from the blades path," I can't!" Dante yelled back at Rampage.

She shook her head. "One isn't enough. Just be patient"

Manda grabbed Rachel with his tail and threw her the them. She started spinning and covered herself in white fire. It was a technique she stole from a meta demon. She was flying at him like that of a bullet.

She shrugged, "I don't mind not having a last name. When I got the name Alice, I had the option to choose a last name. But I didn't. It just, didn't feel right. I only excepted Alice because I didn't want to be called a number. Imagine being called a number for the rest of your life."
