Alexandra's squad was on their way with several contained apocalyptic beasts. They were flying in a cargo plane. They were also bringing water and other necessities to 're stock some areas around the continent. They left just as a squad was preparing to make a trip to Kazakhstan. Due to a large build up of apocalyptic monsters in certain areas. Most branch bases in that country requested a squad from this base come to check out the areas with build ups. The cargo plane was on it's way to the castle of Udalise. Gavon was mumbling to himself about it being a bad idea. While the other three were talking about all the people they needed to meet again.

Alice smiled, glad for the company. "Well, that tree is an ash tree, created from ashes. A bit ironic isn't it? Anyways, in celtic cultures, an ash tree can be a metaphor for growth. Ash trees are quite large, and the ancient druids, who were very symobollical people, we can connect the growth of our souls with the growth of the ash tree. And the greater we grew, then more we need to stay grounded, just like how the bigger the ash tree grows, the bigger the roots grow, in order to keep itself from falling down," She shrugged, "Its a bit lame when you say it out loud. It sounded a whole lot greater to me in my head."

Two torrents off water shoot up out the steam and hit the dragon. A thrid came up and Kaylee and Mercury jumped out and tackled Fahy. The were falling down to the water.

Luna seemed upset with the fact that Morpheus's time was distributed since Kaylee almost drowned most of the students. Luna adjusts herself on his lap to her more comfortable. She wasn't in the way of his view since she was much shorter than he was. She waits for the match to kick up as she leans her head on his chest. "Hm...."

Fahy used his palm to hit her in the gut and Somnus used his tail to catch Fahy. Fahy managed to wriggle free of Kaylee's grasp and grab onto Somnus's tail as Somnus began to fly higher.

He stared at the tree. "No no it's fantastic. I like it. I've always known ash could replenish and nurture the ground. But I didn't know that. I'm happy I do." He reach down and grabbed a handful of the ashes on the ground. He looked at the tree and squinted, studying it. Slowly the ashes in his hand grew together and mirrored the tree but much smaller. When he broke focus the ashes fell into a pile. "Guess I can't use your power just yet. Well my turn" He closed his eyes and sighed. "Since you hit me with philosophy so will I." He blew the ashes out of his hand and they flew in the air, floating around. "I see life as a series of steps, cause and effect. Everything requires something else to continue. These ashes would float endlessly if not for air and gravity. But they do not fall immediately like a stone because the air is heavier than it. In a sense. This matter of events, this balance, requires synchronicity. We need a harmony in life. Things can not be accomplished without. One step at a time. One move across the majestic chessboard of life. Each action needs to be accurately calculated. A perfect unity would cause no shed. No piece would fall. But life can not always be this fair. There must be sacrifice. Pieces, people, must be lost. Life is the most complex game of chess ever. I see myself as a rook. You of course would be the knight. But this can not end you. You must still continue straight and never fail. Ultimately, that requires understanding and symmetry. Like a bird needs the air to soar, like the Ililypad needs the surface tension to float, we need others to rely on." He laid back and closed his eyes, Puriel landing on his chest. The ashes trickled down. "But that is a conversation not meant for me. But you Alice? You are these ashes. Of course. Do you see how they trickle down? Nothing is everlasting. But with help..." The falling ashes reversed and recollected in the air, forming into her tree, and sitting on one of the dressers. "You can find the path necessary to not fizzle away. You could find a way to be as ancient, strong, and powerful as the ash tree. But how would the ash tree maintain and remain without the ground to hold it in place? You just need a strong foundation and you will flourish. I know it"


Morpheus smiles and leans forward, kissing her head. "Who do you think will win? I'm going for the guy. He seems like the underdog"

Mercury grabbed Kaykee hand. The dive in unison into the water. The two swam to the edges and shot up at the dragon. They grabbed the leg and climbed up. Pillars of water shot up at the dragon. Both Mercury and Kaylee attacks jumping at his sides.

Fahy blows sleep sand into Kaylee's face simply exhaling then Fahy jumped up as Somnus dropped and spun then turned enough to glance at Mercury and shoot a solar beam into its face. Stopping in enough time to catch Fahy, causing Fahy to thank his father for the time Somnus and he had to sleep and train. Meanwhile Kaylee should be falling and or getting a little sleepy even with the water to aid her.
