The five all heard the announcement. They all had no intention of joining but they needed to train away. They said they would. Zaphkiel went to the other side of the continent. Rebecca went to her dorm. She felt she should tell Reed she was leaving and not to follow. Once she did she left to go train in the shadow realm. Daliah waited for Ruby but noticed her soul wasn't on campus so she figured screw it and went into the shadow realm to train to see Rebecca. So the two trained together. Brooke grabbed Charles and went off to train somewhere else on the continent. And Isabella went back into the cave, deep underground, to train with Sitri and Levi. She remembered to get him a bowl of water first before she did

 

[Light]

Alice had reached what she presumed what Rikka's office. She stood at the door way, then cleared her throat to get her attention.

Rikka raises her head, she didn't recognize this student. "Hello, what brings you here?"

 

[amethysty]

"I want to participate in tomorrows event." Alice said.

Rikka stares at Alice. She didn't know what type of person she was but it could work out. "Alright then. Contracts bind you with a beast once you make one. Try not to upset a beast you're trying to contract with. You both must agree on a certain set of demands. Go ahead." Rikka points to the entry way behind her. It had a metal platform that goes over the Beast Taming forest and a set of stairs. "Take the stairs and look around. Be careful."

 

[amethysty]

"Will do." Alice said as she made her way towards the entryway, wondering what kinds of beasts would be down there.

 

[Light]

Rikka notices Fahy as well. She merely points to the entrance. "That way."

Several beasts could already be seen in the area she walks through.

Only one truly caught her eye among the beast, a large, reddish dragon, who gave off a sense of power and dominance. He didn't need to roar or even open his mouth to show his strength, and this is what made he immediately attracted to him. She calmly walked over to the beast, erasing all fear from both her heart and mind, as she stood beneath him, and silently stared. (3rd dragon by the way.)

The dragon seems to be looking elsewhere. As if it were deep in thought, not noticing her yet.

Alice still said nothing, taking her time watching the great behemoth instead. He had not looked at her yet, seemingly lost in thought, and she immediately wondered what a beast like him would be thinking about.

The beast inhales and catches her scent. It's eyes lock on her, as if it's expecting her to do something.


The beast with Dante shrinks down to a small size. "Yes, I agree to this contract." ( You control it now. @AnthonyWrath )

"Alright now all we gotta do is name you and train together." Dante said as he put the small beast in his hand.

The beast was now looking at her, but she still said nothing. She only stared him in the eyes, her gaze unnerving. To her, no words could say as much as her eyes could. She kept her mouth shut, and let her eyes do the talking instead.

The beast starts to rise up and use telepathy to communicate with her. "You are?"

Reed got up after the announcement. "Sounds like fun." He walked to Rikkas class. "Hey Rikka can I look for a beast to be my partner?"

Reed got up after the announcement. "Sounds like fun." He walked to Rikkas class. "Hey Rikka can I look for a beast to be my partner?"

"Sure." She points towards the entry way.

Alice gave him a slight smile."I want a contract."

"So what would you like your name to be?" Dante said sitting with the small beast in his hand.

The beast seems curious. "Why would I contract with you? Why would you want to contract with me?"

( You control the Beast. I'm not responding with it anymore. )

Alice shrugged."You're interesting. Every one else in here roar to show their power and might. But not you. You don't need to roar to show strength. That's interesting to me. And I won't tell you why you should contract with me. That's not really my place. It's also a bit pathetic," She rolled her eyes as she said this, before staring at beast again, "I'll let you find your own reasons to make a contract with me."

 

[Drumonkey]

Fahy followed Rikkas directions "I want to contract with the green one." (the second one I think)

"No idea huh?" Dante said shrugging. Alright I'll think of something, but in the mean time lets go train. Dante walks out of the room with the beast in his hand.

Zaphkiel nodded to Puriel. The dragon was still reluctant to fight but he convinced him that this was for the greater good of peace. That if they were more in sync the two could fight at a better level to protect the institution of peace. The two stared at each other, Puriel at a decent but moderate size, standing. They stood like that for awhile, not moving. Looking at each other. Their souls becoming more in sync. They closed their eyes together and synced. After awhile their powers were transferred and able to be used by each other. They opened their eyes. "Ready?" "Ready." "Don't hold back." Puriel started. He split into about 10 clones and charged Puriel, each holding double blades. The dragon mimicked his clones and shot beams of energy at him. The Zaphkiel clones held their swords up and blocked the beams as one jumped off the front clone's back and threw his blade straight at Puriel. The bird used his wing to block it, but covered his eyes. Zaphkiel appeared right there, using that moment of blind and swung his blade at the bird's face. He took the attack and fizzled out of existence as a beam shot at Zaphkiel through the fading clone. He was blasted back quite a distance and crashed into the ground. The dragon flew over him and roared, blowing a strong gust of wind to hold him there. Zaphkiel couldn't move but opened his mouth, screaming his own gust of wind. The two had a strong battle going on but ultimately Puriel had to drop back. He flew up and into the air and shot down a boulder of fire and rock. Zaphkiel smirked. "Thank you Ruby" He held his hand up and crystals grew out of the ground and made a shell around him, protecting him from the boulder. Puriel appeared next to him inside, though smaller, and split into hundreds of copies that all spewed fire on Zaphkiel. He spun in a rotating circle of pressurized air as he slipped through his feet and into the ground, leaving a clone there to do the fighting. He rose up out of the shell and the real Puriel was outside waiting. He flapped his wings and sent a powerful beam straight at Zaphkiel. Zaphkiel extended his hands and caught it, rotating it, and pulling his arms back, He looked up at the dragon. "Heh... anime time" He threw his hands back to Puriel and the beam shot from his palms. Puriel responded with his own beam. The two clashed and had a battle going. It was pretty even as Zaphkiel kept cycling his own power to keep the stolen beam going. "You're a lot more powerful that I expected Puriel! I'm not surprised. The peaceful ones always are!" "I could say the same of you. I am impressed with your power. But you lack temperance. Focus Before Zaphkiel could have time to process a clone of Puriel slashed his back. He was blasted back by Puriel's beam and into the crystal shell, through it, and sent flying. The dragon appeared behind him and caught him, letting him rest.





Brooke nodded to Charles. He had fed and was ready. He grew to half his full size and spewed smoke at her, surrounding her. She was blind in this smoke but still looked around for any movement. When she saw it she charged straight at Charles and slashed at him with her sword. But it went through him as he turned that part of his body into smoke, He swung his paw and swatted her back like a fly. She crashed into the ground and rolled over, standing back up, her wings out. She flew back to him and last second pulled back, the wind pushing the smoke away. She fluttered and flapped towards him, bringing her sword down to him. He busted into smoke and formed behind her. He turned his head and went to bite her. She let it happen and screamed then disappeared and was gone. She was sitting on his head and looked over into his eye. "Hey there. You would have killed me!" "I thought you'd move. What was that?" "An illusion. I can make people see and feel things that aren't real if I've made contact with them." "Interesting.." He bucked her off his head and jumped, turning in the air and facing her. "You can use my smoke power. Try it." She nodded and felt it in her chest. Her cheeks expanded and she spewed it from her mouth. She stopped and looked at her hands. Smoke was coming off of them. "This is going to be cool." She looked at Charles who nodded. The two continued their sparring match.


Rebecca nodded to Daliah's offer. She placed Chester down and he grew to his natural size, Rebecca on his shell. He looked at Daliah and stared, mouth slightly open, as he blinked slowly. One at a time.


Daliah just looked at him. "Rebecca I think you may have gotten a faulty-" Before she could finish a condensed beam of water was shot at her. She jumped in the air and landed back, a spike of darkness barely missing her. She looked up at Rebecca "Okay.. I see." Empire grew to his full size and blew frost at Chester


Chester spoke in Rebecca's mind. "I dont like mean people!" And shot a beam of water at her. "Aww don't worry big guy. She's just not patient. She's cool I swear." She attacked Daliah with a spike of darkness. and smiled at her comment. Then her contract started to attack. She flipped off of Chester who shot a beam of water up at the bird that quickly got frozen. He stopped when it was close and pulled his limbs in, rotating at high speeds. If there was air in here they might have been blown back. She charged at Daliah with her scythe and swung it around.


The girl looked at Chester's rotation. "Impressive" Then blocked Rebecca's scythe with her sword. The tip slowly started to spread red. "The more physical damage it takes, the redder it becomes. When it's complete it connects with my Underworld powers and I can use them anywhere. Nifty thing father created"


Rebecca slashed at Daliah's legs and Daliah blocked it again. She jumped back and Chester appeared under her. He was a lot faster than he appeared. She thanked him and he ran into the darkness.


Daliah looked at them leave as Empire flew back to her side. The two stared at where they were but Chester had run all the way around and flanked them, appearing behind Daliah. He didn't make a single sound but didn't attack.


Rebecca giggled and Daliah turned back quickly, surprised they were there. "Checkmate" She said


Isabella nodded and opened her hand. The bottom of his body was like a smokey darkness. He didn't appear to have a lower body really. He raised his hands and the ground shook as water shot up and poured, slightly filling the place. Isabella took Levi out of his bowl and put him in the water He grew to a larger size and the three stood together. Their minds were in sync. "Okay Isabella. My stone was Natural Disaster. You, in short, can control the elements." She nodded. "And my powers are strength and water." Isabella nodded to him too. The three stood there, cycling around, flowing power between each other. Isabella's eyes slowly started to glow purple, like her fathers. She had a slight smirk as the three had their own 1v1v1 fight.
