Fantasy Wolves on the Run

Someone cares if I bleed out? "I'm fine, I need to try a painkiller on you. The syringe won't hurt, however it may give you a slight headache later because of the rest of the chemicals swirling around in your endocrine system." Bat uncapped a small needle and injected it into Elliot's wound through the bandage. He sighed.

Elliot feels the pain subside and he breathes heavily, eyes opening. "Thank you..." he whispers. Looking over Bat, Elliot wasn't so sure that he was completely fine. "You sure you took care of everything on you? Anything could get infected and be lethal, so all cuts should be taken care of." And now he sounds like Dr. Sanders, the man who developed the inhibitor for Elliot.

Bat touched the cut on his cheek. Someone actually cares? "It seems I forgot this existed. Thank you." Bat simply disinfected the cut, and put a weak, school-grade bandage over it. It was going to scar without a doubt. "Alyla's point has simply been further proven; we need to find a cave or sorts which blocks the transmission of the trackers in our DNA."

Bat extended his arm to pull Elliot up. After doing so, he headed to the hunter and shooed Ketsui away. He aimed his tranquilizer gun at the hunter's face. It was obvious he thought it shot bullets. "What was the name of the artificial wolf you had with you?" The hunter wasn't talking. Bat changed into his wolf, with his paw on the hunter's neck. He repeated his question with his wolf's demonic voice. The hunter sang like a bird. "S-Sarah James!" Bat had predicted this. "Where did she and the remaining hunters run off to?" The hunter was about to faint from fear. "I-I really don't know! W-We didn't plan to fail!" Bat growled and reverted, shooting the hunter with his tranquilizer.

Elliot leans against the tree and smells the air. Alyla, Bat, me, Ketsui... Bitey? Focus on Bitey. He steps forward, sniffing the air. Following the scent trial, he finds himself lost. "Damn it. Alright, fine then. I'll just find Bat again." He follows his scent trial back to the group. "Couldn't find Bitey."

She gets up and after watching her friend make the hunter almost shit his pants looks over at Elliot. "No? Do you know where they've been? I haven't seen her lately, either." She cocked her head to the side with curiosity and wonder.

Bat took out a cigarette and smoked it. "Anyways, Elliot, that cave?" We really should hurry before they send more hunters after us. They'll most likely be better equipped now that they know I'm with them.

"I tried to track her scent. I didn't get too far." Elliot leans against a tree and partially shifts, using Eyolf's razor sharp teeth to cut open his finger tip. Self-harm is almost habit to him now. "Oh, the cave. It's... that way." He starts off in the direction of the cave, expecting them to follow.

I really wish he wouldn't do that. Least it isn't large, so it's basically harmless. Bat followed his suicidal comrade as soon as he was asked to.

She starts after him, forcing herself to look away from the blood so that she doesn't go into that odd frenzy again.

He leads them to the cave and finds his headphones under the bushes. Odd, he didn't remember putting them there. Eh, whatever. He puts on his headphones and goes inside. "See? Cave!"

Bat knocked on the rock walls, the noise echoed throughout the cave. "Thick enough to block the transmissions. We'll be safe here unless they use Bitey to track us again." I guess that's why they used her rather than the DNA. He sat down on a rock and crossed his legs, still smoking his cigarette.

Ketsueki nodded "So, where might this cave lead?" She awkwardly stepped into the cave, determined to explore it's depths.

Elliot shrugs. "It leads in." He looks at Bat, determined not to ask for a draw. Elliot has smoke before, and it usually calmed his race car mind and soothed his need for self-deprecation. He walks about twenty yards from the entrance and sits, turning on his music and slicing open his finger a couple more times before moving to the next.

Ketsueki nodded and skipped off inside the cave humming a song that mysteriously sounded like one would hear from Pinkie Pie in My Little Pony (that was probably the most awkward reference I've made...) as she skipped right on in.

Bat took off both of his bandages, his shoulder was healed entirely and his cut had fulled scarred. He then began to feel around for a soft spot in the rock, or cracks he could possibly place items in.

When each finger on his right hand had been cut three times, Elloit turned the music up slightly and let the blood pool on the ground. The nice thing about cutting on fingertips is that there are no major arteries or veins, and there is a shit ton of nerves, and no muscles or tendons. Basically, you get a lot of pain with little risk.

Lobo starts to softly growl a warning as he smells people going deeper into the dark of the cave.

Bat finally found a soft patch in the cave. I can rest here. As he lied down, he faintly heard a growl. Doesn't sound like one of ours. But it was so soft, where did it come from? And how come I can't get a damn break today? He sighed and got back up, walking past the bleeding Elliot. He'd tend to him, but there's not much to tend to. He kept walking further and further into the cave, surprised at how far back it actually went. Bat eventually used his lighter for a dim light, running into an amethyst vein. Amethyst can be found this high up?

"Bat, where are you going?" Elliot asks, standing up and following. "Is something wrong?" When he doesn't get a response, he takes off his headphones. "Bat, where are you going?" He asks again.

Bat was too entranced by this geological anomaly to listen to Elliot. They were basically still on the level of the forest, weren't they? If not, slightly deeper. How did this amethyst form here? It was obviously natural. Unless...

Bat sat down in front of the amethyst, too indulged in the research of it to listen to anyone or respond to anything.

"Bat!" Elliot snaps, angered slightly. He tries to talk himself down from the annoyance, but he knows how violent his temper can be, and how uncontrollable. "Bat, what the fuck man, don't ignore me! What the hell is wrong with you?" His voice grows harsh and bitter, though in his head Elliot knows he shouldn't be getting angry.

Elliot's voice had broken Bat's trance, for fear he was an enemy. However, that was all the time he needed to research this anomaly. "My apologies. But we have bigger issues to worry about. I'll explain this amethyst later, but there is another artificial wolf in this cave somewhere. I have no idea where it came from exactly, but they may be hostile." Bat continued his stride into the cave, hoping to not get ambushed.
