Fantasy Wolves on the Run

Except for Elliot, whose headphones are now playing Twenty One Pilots. He raises a finger to his mouth and partially shifts, slicing open the tip on his sharp front wolf teeth.

Ketsueki sees the blood leak out of his finger. MMMMM... Rosewillow and Ketsui think in harmony Blloooooddd..... Seeing the red liquid gave her a sudden urge to see more, and she eerily scrambled up to Elliot and smiled at him with that sort of serial killer grin spread across her face. She was smiling so wide it almost looked as wide as a Glasgow grin. Without a word, she bit onto the boy's finger. Hard. If she hadn't seen or smelled the blood she'd have reacted differently, told him to stop, perhaps, or grab his arms and pin him down so he can't hurt himself. But she had seen the blood, she had smelled the blood, and now she thirsted for more... More. MORE! Ketsueki bit harder onto his finger suddenly, hearing what sounded to her like a slight crunch.

Elliot looks at her confused, but doesn't protest. Honestly, the point of cutting open his finger is safe self-harm, and she's just helping him with feeling the pain he feels he deserves. That is, until she bites too hard. Then Elliot, with no thought before acting out, slaps her face hard.

Ketsueki, realizing he didn't appear to care, bites harder and pulls away, tearing the tip of his finger off. She stumbles over and curls back up to her little sketch book while proceeding to suck the blood out of the severed finger tip.

Before Andreasa could make another remark, Alyla had pushed her way out, shifting back to her human form. She was panting so hard, sweating started to bead on her forehead. "Damn..." Her entire body shook. Why is it so hard to get control of Andreasa? She stared at the dirt as her mind raced.

(K, sorry ;~; well IDK what to do, then... uhh...)

Ketsueki continued to suck the blood from his finger casually as fuck. (nailed it)

Bat returned to human form while Alyla was dealing with Andreasa. He walked back to where his other two comrades were, only to see Elliot's finger. He rushed to his aide, pushing Kesui out of the way. Bat used his knowledge of field medicine to quickly put the finger in a healing position.

"Dude, stop, stop..." Elliot sighs. "I want it to bleed out, just let it heal itself. It's not even that bad of a cut." Eyolf yells at Elliot in his head, calling him weak and dumb, but Elliot doesn't listen to him. He is currently contemplating digging his teeth into his own forearm and letting himself bleed out. But He can't do that with Bat nearby.

Ketsueki looked up at him, her sanity coming to again. "What? Shit, what did I do?" She looks over at Elliot's bloodied finger "OH MY GOD SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY I JUST I UGGHHHH I hate it when this happens..." She looked down at the ground and sighed.

"I've got more tranquilizers if you want to argue with me." Bat put away his medical supplies and pulled out a tablet. "I apologize for Ketsui, her schizophrenia isn't very... stable."

"Sweet. Maybe you could give me a leth-- never mind." Elliot mutters. Those could easily get rid of him. Right? Then he wouldn't have to deal with the shithole that is life. Elliot stands, his leg having gotten well enough to support his weight, and walks off into the forest, needing to be alone. Already he can feel anger starting to build up, and if one of them so much as drops a hat he could go off. He doesn't want that. He doesn't want to hurt people. But Eyolf and Elliot's depression constantly make it impossible for him to achieve stability and extended happiness.

After dealing with Andreasa, Alyla walked back to the group. "We really need to get out of here. It won't take long for the scientists and their henchmen to find us. I don't know about you three but I do not want to stay here to only go back again." Looking up at the sky, Alyla got a sense of direction. The lab was just north of them. That means they need to go south. Farther away from the lab.

Bat shrugged and read on his tablet. "As correct as you are, Elliot's depression is currently more important."

"I know. That's why I'm going to go look for a safer spot like a cave for us." Taking another glance up at the sky, "Seeing how it's getting towards evening."

Elliot sits at the mouth of a cave, tucking his knees to his chest. The youngest of the group. The most out of control. The weakest. He hates himself. Not how other teenagers dislike their looks. He can't stand to be himself. A second voice in his head, always telling him to back down and stop hurting cuz it's not manly. A second body. Not only that, but he has two sets of expectations for himself. He expects himself to be strong and assertive, but he also expects himself to not always be a wolf. "What the hell is wrong with me." Elliot whispers, holding the headphones tightly over his ears. Eyolf is all too happy to answer the question. What's wrong with you is that you can't just kill yourself. You aren't good for anything. You aren't smart. All you do is hurt others. And you expect someone to accept you while you can't accept yourself? Just kill yourself, Elliot. Do both of us a favor. Elliot sighs and takes off the headphones, leaving them at the mouth of the cave. He plans on being back, or at least he hopes in some secret corner of his mind he will be back.

Elliot wanders the forest until he finds a small creek. The water eroded the soil out from under the roots of the tree, leaving almost a cage-like structure under the tree. Perfect. Elliot thinks, climbing into the roots. Isolated, quite, and something I am used to. The sky is dark, and off of the water he can see a reflection of a waning half-moon. Small fish swim down the river, and every so often a frog will hop by. It's calming for Elliot. Nature calmed him, because it was new and tranquil. There were no needles, no fluorescent lights, no metal cages and processed meals. It was all very fresh and alive. The calming scene somehow helped Elliot to sleep, so much so Elliot didn't even realize that he was drifting off until he was in the middle of a dream.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_06/upload_2015-6-30_0-24-45.png.b4452f0027687ac2ba9a0f0b1c406f28.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="59545" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_06/upload_2015-6-30_0-24-45.png.b4452f0027687ac2ba9a0f0b1c406f28.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Bat put away his tablet and took out a strange object. It looked like a gun, but it had no magazine slot. He aimed it in the air and shot, nothing came out. To normal humans, anyways. It was a dog whistle disguised as a gun, he did this as a warning sign to the others soldiers were coming. Although he knew Alyla and Elliot didn't know what this meant, he hoped they were close by enough to run back and ask.

Bat unsheathed a knife and took an odd combat stance. How does Elliot know about me and not Eme? I need to ask him a few questions after this.

Elliot hears the sound, but he doesn't know what it is. Somehow he knew that it was bad. He pokes his head out of the roots, trying to climb out. And then he smelled it. Humans. Not the humans that were like him. Humans, as in the people hunting him. Immediately Eyolf takes over, using his teeth to break unwanted roots away so he can get out. The black of his fur helped him to blend in with the night, but Eyolf knew that it wouldn't be enough. They would certainly have a heat signature tracker or something of the likes that would give him away. Eyolf stops at the mouth of the cave, pawing the ground. Where did the headphones go? Elliot would be even more vulnerable if he didn't have that comfort. Eyolf wants to creep into the cave, just to see if the headphones are in there. But before he does, he smells the air. Humans. The trackers have been here then. Or they are still there. Either way, Eyolf takes off toward Bat, knowing that he isn't strong or smart enough to deal with the humans, especially since they now have an inhibitor to use against him.

Crouched down by a small stream, a high pitch sound appeared in the air. "What the hell?" She mumbled. That's when she caught the scent of humans. Alright Andreasa, I trust you to lead us to safety. Of course. With Andreasa taking over with a better attitude than last time, she takes off in the opposite direction of the hunters. Barely making it to the tree line and they already started firing at her. One bullet glazed her left hind leg. Following the scent of Grey Bat, it lead her to a wide river gorge. She skid to a stop inches away from the cliff. Getting a glance, it was a very long drop. Hearing the trees and bushes rustles and break, Andreasa realizes that she had no choice but to try to jump the gorge.

Sarah was on a tight leash. Her wolf was struggling to get out and be free. She new that if hhe didn't get these drugs out fast, things would go down hill for her fast. Fuck, why do I have to do this. Isn't there anyone else in the compoud that could do this... I don't want to track down poople. The alarm went off as they were injecting Sarah with some new 'enhancer', something that would make her wolf more tamable. Ofcourse it didn't work and her wolf was pissed. Now to be used as a tracker? Why would she want to do such a thing. They were roughly a mile into the forrest and it was getting dark. "Where are they, you beter be leading us to them." A human growled and tried to sound intimidating. Sarah rolled her eyes and nodded. If she spoke, shock, if she pulled to hard, shock. There was no pleasing them. She caught a scent, feint a it is, she had to follow it. Maybe they would help her get out, so she could leave and go home. Where ever that was. Please be clsse, please be close. Hey, remember me? Let me out! You know you want to run and sniff stuff and run! Think about it all! We can run once we get out of here. First we have to play nice and get the hell out of here. Stupid humans. Tottaly. Sarah smirked and could tell the trail was getting stronger. She heard someone getting up, but the humans had no idea. She walked faster, almost jogging now. "Hey, what-" the haman saw where I was leading them and saw a girl in the clearing. "Help!" Sarah yelled and pulled hard on her leash, forcing the human to let go. Finaly.

Bat saw Elliot's wolf running towards him. Wasn't his name Eyolf? He remembered Elliot describing Eyolf as stronger than him. Let's hope he isn't hostile like Andreasa, then. Bat returned to his strange-looking combat stance. It took about three minutes for a group of six assassins to jump down from the trees. "It's Grey Bat! We weren't told he was here!" One of the assassins yelled. I hope Eyolf stays back and learns. Bat charged at an assassin, swiftly punching him in the stomach. He then swiftly shifted into his wolf, which he then brutalized the assassin with his claws. Back to human, he grabbed his prey by the neck and slammed him against a tree. It was without a doubt this target was dead. The other four assassins met the same fate, Bat using his signature LHP style.

The last assassin was pinned to the ground by Bat's black paw. "Do they have any subjects left?" His wolf voice was rather demonic, this assisted in this interrogation. "Y-Yes! One more. S-Sarah James!" Bat recognized the name faintly. "T-They're using her as a t-tracker!" Bat's red eyes became more intimidating. "Why her? They have trackers in the DNA." Poor assassin died before he could answer. Bat returned to human form and stared at Eyolf.

Eyolf stares back and almost retreats into Elliot's mind. Elliot groans in slightly pain, the transformation is still uncomfortable for him. "Damn, Grey. That was... impressive." And scary enough for Eyolf to hide. "Sarah... She's..." He tries to rack his brain for the information. The scientists talked about her once or twice. "Sarah James..." The girl who spent six months in the same cell as him, right? Yeah, he thinks that is right. But he called her something else... "Bitey! Holy shit, I forgot about Bitey. How could I do that?"

Bat's memories of Sarah fully returned at the sound of Bitey. "How could I ever forget about her either?" Bat remembered when he was 5, he often spent time talking to Sarah. Humoring her, mainly. This was before he knew of the scheduled DNA injections. "We need to go back for her."
