Fantasy Wolves on the Run

Looking over her shoulder, a she-wolf was racing towards Alyla. The humans with guns right behind her. That's when she realizes that they were using her as a tracker. Shifting forms, for once Alyla felt at one with Andreasa. Staring the she-wolf in the eye, "Run." With that being said, Andreasa dashed towards the humans as they started firing their guns at her. Andreasa managed to kill two of them before getting two bullets in her left shoulder causing her to howl in pain.

Bat looked toward the direction of the howl. "Perhaps that pain howl has something to do with it. I don't recognize the voice, however. Obviously one of us, though. Come to think of it, haven't seen Alyla or Ketsui in a while." Bat developed a smug grin. "Could Eyolf handle watching me kill if needed?" The chuckle which followed was so rare it seemed faux.

Standing in the spot, blood trailed down Andreasa's leg heavily. But before she launched at the hunter, two barks kept echoing in the wind as they got closer and closer. She prepared herself to fight as Andreasa snarled. Pain in her left shoulder increased more and more.

"As you wish. I'll be off towards that howl, if you don't mind." Bat turned into his wolf and ran off at a surprising speed.

In about five minutes, Bat reverted and hid behind a tree, watching Andreasa's ordeal. He tapped his left temple and his left eye's iris radiated green light. Analyzing... Andreasa is under extreme, possibly fatal, pain. She only noticed two hunters, but there are three more in the trees ready to assassinate her. The light faded and Bat climbed up the canopy of the forest. He took out three syringes filled with a purple liquid: tranquilizer. He professionally leaped from branch to branch, approaching his first target. Swiftly injecting the target's neck, this hunter fell from the tree, incapacitated. However, he brought Bat with him. And landed on him. This blew Bat's cover, causing one of the hunters in the trees to shoot a bullet straight into his left shoulder. Bat threw off the hunter and rolled into a bush.

Eyolf sprints through the trees, hiding in the shadows expertly. He sees Bat fall and snarls. Whoever shot him is going to pay. Eyolf leaps at the responsible soldier and tears out his throat, hiding again when bullets whiz past him. He looks at the bullets. They aren't bullets. They are shooting darts with green liquid at him. Inhibitor. This angers him enough for him to leap out of the shadows and takes down another soldier, biting his temple hard enough to shatter part of the skull and impale his brain on Eyolf's fangs. Eyolf hides again, taking in the situation. If he attacked the soldier closer to Andreasa, he would be shot with inhibitor by the other. If he took down the one farther, he would at least be able to maim the other before being shot. He goes with the second option, killing the fourth soldier swiftly and digging his fangs into the fifth before being shot in the ribs with the pain-inducing torture liquid. Eyolf is forced into Elliot's body, and Elliot in turn collapses in pain. He was shot in his ribcage, and the fiery pain is spreading throughout his chest cavity and into the rest of his body. Elliot yells, the agony making tears form in his eyes and his body to curl up and shake uncontrollably.

Bat, who was watching the whole thing, rushes to Elliot's side. "Nice work lad, but you're in too much pain right now. I'm going to sedate you after I apply some field aide. And I'm going to inject a neutralizer to rid of the inhibitor. Okay?" Bat picked up a stick and handed it to Elliot. "Bite on this, it'll make it easier."

Elliot can't hear him over the blood pounding in his ears and the sound of his breathing. Another wave of pain rushes from the injection site across his body and down his legs, wrenching a scream from Elliot. His body trembles violently, and tears fall out of his eyes without his notice. He doesn't remember it being this bad the last time they injected him with inhibitor. But then again, last time was a small dosage in a relatively insensitive spot. This would be a much higher dosage.

"Well, I don't need your approval." Bat stuck the stick horizontally in Elliot's mouth for him to bite on. Bat then removed the bullet from the injection site painfully, where he then injected a red liquid with a very sharp needle. He then covered it up with disinfectant and a military bandage, ending with injecting tranquilizer by the neck. This dosage is smaller, therefore shorter. But it should last long enough for the pain to wear off. He then remembered his shoulder wound. It's less important than Elliot. He carried Elliot into bushes where he hid with him, waiting to see if anymore hunters were to show up.

The two tracker dogs skid to a stop a foot in front of Andreasa growling. The lighter color of the two leaped at her first. Andreasa aimed for the throat but the weight of the dog made her slid a few inches towards the deep gorge. The dog clammed his jaws on her wound causing her to yelp before she sank her teeth into his ear and pulled on it hard. The two of them fought for a good ten minutes. Andreasa was then able to grab his throat with her teeth. With a quick jerk to the right, the dog fell to the ground with a thud without making a move. The other dog charged at her without hesitation. But the ground around them started to shift and break with every fighting move both the dog and Andreasa made.

That's right. Andreasa is in pain too. I need to tend to her, but with my shoulder it will be difficult. But, possible. Bat unsheathed his knife and a silenced pistol, and walked out of his cover.

The ground was breaking, therefore Bat couldn't use LHP, as it could completely destroy the ground with his wolf's force. The hunter he incapacitated had woken up, and tackled him to the ground. The hunter was attempting to stab Bat's head, although his small yet swift movements evaded the stabs. He couldn't avoid a small cut. Bat then pushed a button on his knife, which electrocuted the hunter to death. He regained his footing, only to lose it under the shifting ground.

Before the two of them could make another move to attack each other, the ground underneath them completely gave way. Andreasa gave control back to Alyla. Alyla screamed with fear as she fell. With her left hand, she managed to catch hold of a rock in the side of the gorge. Pain shocked hard through her arm. "Ahhh." A pained look crossed her face.

Ketsueki crawled up to view the scene, looking in on Bat placing Elliot's unconscious body in some bushes. Might as well keep him company, right? Make sure they don't do anything to his body... She sat against the base of a nearby tree, keeping guard just in case someone were to approach. She pulled her notebook back out and this time began writing. She was taken away from her thoughts as she heard Bat collapse through her bluetooth. That's right... The girl had forgotten about that. She looked up at him from the scene to see him apparently struggling, with another hunter coming up to him from behind. "Bat, Hunter at 6 o' clock." They were coming in with a small knife, which Ketsui thought to be a little disappointing for someone who was supposedly good at hunting down and killing animals. I mean, wouldn't a bow or a gun work better? Either way, she forgot to warn him of their weapons or anything, so of course right as they were getting in closer range she anxiously said "Small dagger, not too threatening, I'd say." A good blow to their ankles should get them off their feet and buy sometime for him to get a hold of himself, but with his bad leg I'm not sure he can make a move like that...

Bat listened to his partner intently, and swiped the incoming hunter off of his feet. Bat then jumped up and easily disarmed him. "Thanks, Ketsui." Since I knew the weapon beforehand, it was a guaranteed disarm. "Mind coming over here and keeping him on the ground? I want to speak with him after I save Alyla." Bat rushed to Alyla, and let down his arm. She's in immense pain. I have a neutralizer, but I don't know where she got hurt.

Alyla tried to reach for his hand with her right hand but it just was out of reach by a few inches. The blood ran down her side soaking her shirt. "I can't reach." Tears stained her face. Fear locked into her eyes. She started to lose grip of the rock so Alyla tried reaching for Bat's hand.

Ketsueki made a small grunt of agreement and made sure that no one would mess with Elliot's unconscious body, then dashed up to the hunter and sat on top of his chest. She pinned his arms down by folding her legs out onto them, then pushed her forearm up to his throat. "Don't move." The command was rewarded with a glare and an attempt to escape her grip, but she swear that she saw a bee again, and it landed right on his face, so... Ketsui slapped him. She withdrew her hand to see nothing but a red mark. oops... Yeah, that's right, dipshit, it wasn't real. Ketsueki sighed and continued to glare directly into her hostage's eyes, just daring him to try and get out.

Her mind is too stressed to focus on coordination. Bat's shoes then extended spikes into the ground to fortify his stance. This allowed him to reach down further to make his arm easier to grab.

Reaching up to grab his hand, Alyla managed to actually grab it as the rock tumbled out of the cliff and into the rushing river below. The entire left side of her shirt was soaked and had darkened in color.

Elliot wakes with a fuzzy mind and a pained body. His moan is strained but not too loud, thank god. That would be embarrassing. He looks around him and examines the situation. Everyone seems to be useful but him. Again. Because Elliot is useless and weak, so why would he be doing anything at all. A wave of agony rushes over him and he cries out, back arching off the ground. Damn this fucking inhibitor. It hurts like a bitch.

Bat pulled her up and retracted his shoe spikes, immediately taking out his field medical supplies once again. He calmly looked for the wound, in which he injected a painkiller into when he found it. He then disinfected it and bandaged it. I think we're safe for now. I'll scan anyways. He stood up and turned on his eye, scanning the area. No living bodies besides ours.

Ketsueki heard Elliot's loud cry from the bushes and looked over to him, still keeping her arm pressed up against the hunter's neck. Is he okay?

Elliot curls in on himself and cries out again, burying the noise in his arm. His entire body spasms, kicking and writhing on the ground. When the wave wears off he forces himself to sit up, looking around. He sees Bat's injury and gasps. "Bat..." He calls, fighting back a sob of pain.

Bat heard Elliot's cry. Boy, I'm playing medic now aren't I? He rushes to him, and realized his entire left arm is coated in his own blood. "Damn. I'm trained so well in stoicism I don't even feel anything anymore, it seems." Bat took a stick and clenched his teeth on it, removing the bullet from his shoulder with his knife. He did the same routine, then spit the stick out. Maybe a painkiller will help? "Just so you know, Eyolf can still be released. The inhibitor's effect is neutralized by my solution, but apparently the pain is still there." Bat took off his blood-covered jacket and took a knee next to Elliot. "You don't have to speak too loudly now. So, speak."

Elliot had closed his eyes to fight back tears, not noticing that Bat had taken care of his arm. "Bat, your arm... you're injured... going to bleed out..." he managed, sweat forming on his forehead and palms, which were clenched in tight fists.
