Fantasy Wolves on the Run

Elliot sits up, looking at the strange insect. "My name's Elliot. But I've been called subject 26 since I was young." Elliot reaches out to poke the insect, but it stings him. He doesn't really mind, it kinda just felt like a needle, which he is used to. "Mean bug."

"Grey Bat...." She mumbled. Alyla tried to think where she remembered that name. Shaking her head, "I'm afraid I do not remember. The scientists took most of my memories earlier today. The only thing I do remember is that there was a young boy that used to share the same cage with me when I was younger." Alyla looked very lost. She felt like this boy, Grey Bat, was a huge part of her life but how? Andreasa, do you.... No.

Bat sighed. I will try to use psychology to force her to remember later. "Well, either way, Eme, there are two others over there. One escaped a while back, the other I just rescued. Mind joining us?" Bat began to walk back to his comrades, assuming Alyla would join.

She nodded. "I was subject... crap, was it 5? 3? -8? I forget..." Ketsueki trailed off as she tried to regain her memories, but alas, nothing about her imprisonment could be salvaged. She suddenly remembered that when she went in and checked the cells no one was there, and when she returned it had appeared as though Grey had already gotten Elliot out. Could he have gotten ahead of her? No, he wasn't that fast, he was skilled and sneaky, but there was no way he could have gotten there and gotten anybody out that quickly, especially without her noticing him. "Say, how'd you escape? I didn't see you down on the imprisonment level when I went in there to check and help anybody get out..."

What was it that I'm suppose to remember that the scientists blocked? Her mind raced with thoughts and questions as Alyla followed Grey Bat with the other two. Pushing the thoughts away for now, Alyla noticed it was the kid that she tried to save. "Hey Kid." She smiled lightly at him.

Bat grabbed Ketsui by her shirt collar and pulled her away. "Leave the poor soul alone." He took a knee in front of the boy and looked into his eyes. "What is your name, lad? And how bad is your leg." Bat stood up. "And how much control do either of you have over your wolves?"

Elliot sighs. "I... I'm Elliot." his desire for conversation has exponentially decreased now that he knows he is going to be safe. "It's getting better..." his voice is quiet and unsure. Eyolf starts to take over, forcing the weaker Elliot out of the way. Elliot starts to shake as the transformation starts, but unfortunately for both of them, the inhibitor had not worn off and Elliot ends up snapping back into dominance. He moans quietly, that entire experience was uncomfortable and a little painful. Finally, he whispers, "I don't have any control. He's stronger than me."

"That's a shame. I have total control. My wolf respects me, and I respect him. He allowed me to take over, as he understood I was dominant. And Alyla, has your control improved?" Bat looked at his feet. "I've even developed the most powerful fighting style possible with him. Lupus-Humana Pugna, or LHP."

"Indeed it has. But there are still times where Andreasa over powers me." She mumbles the last part. How does he know that Alyla needed to work on her control? Oh man, all of this is causing a headache. A major headache.

"Damn. There goes my idea of teaching LHP. We'd need it, since within the wolf DNA the scientists have a gene which basically transmits our location." Bat pulled out a small packet full of needles. "Do either of you have an inhibitor in you, or something they injected into you aside from the wolf DNA?"

"I do." Elliot whispers, a little ashamed. He's realized that he is the youngest of the group by years, and he has, so far, caused the most issues. The last thing he wants to do is get them hurt, but they don't seem too keen on leaving him behind. Even though he'll end up dead anyway, whether by the scientists or by his own hand.

"Fantastic." Bat said this with no sarcasm. "Since you cannot control your wolf, this is good, isn't it? Or is it this very inhibitor which causes you pain?" Bat put away the packet and pulled out another one.

"It's fading. It was just a first trial today, they were shocked when it worked..." His leg jerks in the memory of the searing pain he felt. "I'll be fine soon, at least, fine enough to walk." When do the questions stop? he whines in his head. He just wants to turn on his music and drown out the world.

Alyla shrugged. "I do but instead of causing pain, it drives my wolf completely insane." Inside her, Alyla was using every bit of strength she had to force Andreasa to stay inside. Why is Andreasa wanting out now? Andreasa, what are you... Before she could finish, Andreasa shoved her way out.

"It does seem your control really hasn't improved too much." Bat crossed his arms. His memories of Andreasa returned to him. "Elliot, do those headphones work? If they do, blast them into your ears. This may get a bit.. loud." Bat's originally caramel eyes turned red, and black mist radiated from his body. The mist eventually covered him, then it exploded into nothingness, revealing a slightly large, black and red-eyed wolf. He howled, this howl even made the moon in the sky shake a tad.

Elliot turns on the headphones to the loudest volume possible, which he doesn't mind because he has it on that setting most of the time anyway. He doesn't look at the two wolfs, because in all honesty if he did, Eyolf would want part of the action and that fight with him would be painful.

Andreasa snarled. "You....." Knowing that this might endanger the kid and the girl and that he would follow, Andreasa took a few steps back before racing off into the woods. In her mind, Alyla was trying to gain control. Oh no you don't. I have unfinished business with him. I don't care! Coming up to a small clearing, she figured it was far enough so she stood in the middle facing the way she had just came.

Bat understood what Alyla wanted to do. He didn't want to fight Andreasa, but it was inevitable. He ominously followed Andreasa, knowing what was going to happen.

As soon as they are gone Elliot finds a ditch and sits in it, curling up and listening to his music intently. He finds comfort in isolation, despite the fact that it often makes people suspicious of him.

Ketsueki followed the two out to the edge of the feild. Were they going to fight? She turned back to Elliot and listened as his headphones blasted music that even she could hear from where she was at. So he's to listen to music instead of the fight? What if he watches? Would that do anything, or...? Probably would do something, should we distract him? We should, to prevent him from focusing on the battle. Without another word she runs over to him and prepares to distract him, when she realize how comfortable he looks. Is he also...? She suddenly saw another bee fly by. "OH NO YOU DON'T!!" Ketsui dashes up to the bee and jumps over him trying to kill it when she swings a blow at it, trying to bring it down, and ends up planting her face right into that moist dirt across the ditch from Elliot.

Elliot jolts when he sees Ketsui jump over him, but doesn't question it. I'm listening to my lifeline. He reminds himself. And that is precisely what music is to him. It's the only reason he can keep himself alive everyday.

Ketsueki pulled her face out of the ground and wiped off the dirt from her face then turned around and looked at Elliot. He seems like he's enjoying himself, yes? More or less, I guess... Hmm... She pulled her little sketchbook out of her bag and sat across the ditch and began to draw for a while. May as well entertain myself, huh?

"Andreasa, do we really have to do this?" Bat's voice was now rather demonic, despite the passive words.

"If you want your precious Alyla back....." But before Andreasa could finish her sentence, Alyla tried to push her way out and take control. Alyla, what the hell do you think you are doing?! For once, I am taking control. You will no longer control me! Andreasa snarls at that before pushing her away.
