Hey Guys!

I've just updated the Roster and Kingdoms!

Please take a look at those and let me know if I missed anything!

How are the relationships coming along?

Almost done?

I just realized that both of my student charries come to WDU already fluent in French. Leah comes from New Orleans, a place where all schools have French as a mandatory course, and Lottie comes straight from France.

I have also just now realized how hard it'll be to pull of a New Orleans accent. The people there have really developed their own slang, and the Louisianian accent is very noticeable.

Alright, if any of you need an idea of how Leah sounds, try this:

For Lottie, it took a moment of searching, but this should give you a general idea of her slight accent, and how she speaks French (it's also quite informative)

Of course!
Just let me know what direction you want to take her and how you want certain things done and I'll make it happen =D

The Office probably wont call her down until the middle of the week since paper work is hard!

But yes, there will be a "Excuse the interruption. Mrs. Duckington the Art Dean needs Leah Chase in her office." *Chorus of Ooohs*
Too excited for this moment's arrival.

What do you need help with my love? SOOO. I'm a New Orleanian, I am Asian, and I do know some French! So what's up girly? ;)

Alright, here we go.

First of all, the accent/slang. Is there anything I should know? I come from New Jersey, so I know absolutely nothing about Louisiana--however, I have always yearned to visit New Orleans.

Secondly, the food. My charrie's the president of the cooking club, and I'd love to have your input on the types of dishes you'd find in your local restaurant--they'll probably be the dishes she normally cooks during Left Overs/Home Ec.

Thirdly, the overall atmosphere--anything significant? Certain celebrations/holidays/beliefs specific to that region?

Feel free to add in any info you think would be useful--I'll need all the help I can get. (:B)

I've been Googling this stuff non-stop, man, but the real deal has me so excited. I'm so glad I can get an actual first-hand perspective from such an amazing writer. Thank you so much, crucial. (:*)(<3.<3)(*U*)(<3)

There should be a pool party. I don't care why or how. I just want loads of flirting and awkwardness from swim suits. xD
Lilith has many parties in mind, so there'll be enough flirting to go around xD

Also school starts in September. I don't know about you guys but it's 97 F (36 C) during September where I live xD

Oh my god September is awful. Where I live it's either Mt. Doom or it's Narnia. No in between.
See at least you experience Narnia!

My town is just hot.

Stupid humid heat all year long.

I hate it!

Oh my goodness thank you so much! This was too kind of you!

You really didn't have to compile three pics for each, woman--you've gone out of your way, and now I feel like shit.

Once again, thank you so much!

Personally, the only one I'm really feeling is Liana--the rest seem a little old (in my eyes) to be portraying a 17 year old.

If you happen to have more face claims stored in that lovely mind of yours, I'd obviously love to see them because my stupid brain can't decide which one of the already amazing face claims its been given to choose.

I am literally the worst at faceclaims.

Can we have the book worms just sun-bathe by the pool as they read, and complain whenever someone cannon-balls and gets them wet?

It was a solid 75 degrees all September here, and suddenly it drops to -20.

New Jersey Weather: "Sucker! You wanted some actually nice weather? Well, too bad!"

On the bright side, we'll get to go skiing soon ♥

Yeah Liana has been my favorite so far xD

And sorry about the three pics. I just wanted you to see how the person could fit in all three describers xD

Okay give me a minute or two and I'll add some more =)

Oh my gosh. . . I can't believe you called me an amazing writer, I swear I'm melting right now MELTING. You're the sweetest. Unffff. I can see why your wifey loves you so much. LIKE CAN YOU NOT YOU LOVELY HUMAN BEING?!

alshahdalhda;hfa you're flattering me too much, but, I'll try to answer as best as I can!

You're from New Jersey? Eeeks! <3.

You should definitely come to New Orleans. The main hotspot of Louisiana is downtown. Downtown is where the Louisiana Purchase was and where historical buildings still exist today, actually. The most famous spot downtown in New Orleans is the French Quarter. Thee's the flea market where you can bargain for good items, many cute boutiques, voodoos, restaurants, and historical places. Beignets are a MUST have, they're doughy pasteries and New Orleans is known for it.

beignet-nola.jpg
This picture is from Cafe Du Monde and it is MUST have place to stop by. Along with their frozen au lait coffee. Yum yum yum!

New Orleans is also known for their seafood since it is near a port. There's always delicious cajun food such as crawfish gumbo, shrimp etouflee's, basically anything with seafood, it's all there! New Orleans has their cajun spices ( it's rich, flavorful, and gives a little umpf to the dish). Leah can cook anything that has cajun and seafood.

More tourist attractions is their useage of voodoos. Downtown, near the French Quarter, there's another area where it's called Andrew Jackson Square, the St. Louis cathedral is there where marriages are usually held (but it's hella expensive to reserve and have a wedding there). There's fortune-telling areas, hennas, paintings, and horse carriages to take you on a tour of the city. There are many festivals that happens such as the French Quarter Festival, Essense (for the gays, lesbians, etc. etc. ) Basically downtown is the place to be for tourist spots!

Outside of the downtown area, there's actually haunted houses, cemetaries that are quite famous, and most of the buildings that are old. The festivals held in New Orleans are Crawfish Fest, Seafood Fest, and there's multicultural ones, such as Lunar New Years, Pho Festival, Japanese Festival. There are music concerts held there such as Buku, Voodoo (which are like outside-open areas where singers and bands come out for 3 days and the crowd consist of high student-college students to come out and drink, party, have fun, etc.) There's definitely many events downtown such as the Red Dress Run , Color Run, Breast Cancer run, etc. eetc.

The religion dominant in New Orleans is Catholic, I believe. New Orleans is basically a party city, especially downtown on Burbon where all the fun is!

I hope this helped a lot! Oh! There's also events such as Strawberry Fest. (there's different accents, depending where you are in Louisiana, the more north you go, the harder the accent and difference you can hear between north and south of lousiana) OH. I almost forgot. Louisiana and their swamps and boat rides are downtown as well <3

I have zero excuse for wanting a pool party other than the fact that I need to see character reactions for swimsuits for real. xD Elizabeth desperately wants to go swimming but she also can't risk anyone seeing her in a swimsuit cause then she'd have to deal with the flirting and she just wants to cool off dammit. Adeline would only have a one piece and then someone would force her into wearing a bikini for literally the first time ever and she'd just be so embarrassed. Shang wouldn't notice the swimsuits, he'd only care about cooling off. And Flynn would just be in heaven.
