Fantasy Through The Portal

"I already told you how I got here." Bliss said, finding her voice a bit to hold a steady role in the conversation. She looked over at Randeruck, her eyes almost asking him for a deeper answer to Azalea's question than what he offered. Bliss then gasped softly and sneezed, stumbling back a bit and into an Elven guard. The guard yelled at her and started to draw his sword before Bliss bowed deeply, pressing her hand to her neck, showing the guard she meant no harm. Her heart was pounding and the small girl's body was shaking slightly, almost terrified that the elf still wouldn't care and try to slaughter her anyways.

"You okay miss bloom?" He asked concerned " Your not allergic to your flowers now are you?" Randeruck chuckles to himself knowing that was a stupid, but he can't help it. Sometimes you just need a good laugh even when you're confused about everything that's happened. "Being able to laugh at even the darkest of moment is what helps you keep you human" He thinks to himself "Hmmm I wonder what elfs find funny." He ponders with a puzzled look as he looks around the encampent.

OOC: I'm gonna be at work for about 5 hours so I will be inactive for a bit. Please don't wait on me.

Shin looked back everyone was seeming to get along with each other. He sighed he would talk to them but knowing his luck his symptoms would kick in.

Bliss nodded and rubbed her nose a bit before smiling at them both, sniffling then returning to normal. She glanced at Shin and her smile slowly faded. She dropped her head and bit her lip, feeling like the other guy was judging her. The girl slowed her walking, letting Azalea and Randeruck get ahead of her as she then trailed behind them.

When his gaze met the Bliss he shot his look forward scared. Thinking to himself."Crap did I make her mad oh man what do I do should I apologize or leave it alone does she hate me oh man what if she gets mad crap way to go Shin stupid stupid stupid!!!!!" He thought to himself.

"EEP!" Stitch jumped when he heard the voice, even though it had a kind tone. He didn't expect it at all, since he already felt somewhat jumpy watching the new peope who fell through the portal. He put. His hand over his heart, and took a breath, realizing that the Golem wasn't a threat at the moment.

"Oh, hello. S-sorry. I didn't see you there. You scared me, a little..." He said, stuttering a bit. His voice was fragile, and just as small as he was. More like a loud whisper, than anything. Everything about him looked and seemed fragile.

@Crenando

"Careful," Leoch gently warned the girl who had tripped. He noticed that she seemed to be having trouble controlling her abilities. Earth and plant mages were highly respected in his culture, but apparently the girl had only recently begun to use her powers. Looking up, two tall elves stepped from the outpost's gate. Leoch bowed respectfully to the pair of guards, who nodded in greeting. "May the shade of the forest forever guard you," he spoke in Elven.

"And thus to you," both guards replied in unison. "What is the nature of the group that you bring?" one of them asked.

"Strangers," Leoch said hesitantly. "Though a Holy Swordsman is among their ranks. Most of them are humans, all with strange abilities. Many of them seem confused, and I would like to give them temporary refuge."

The guards looked at each other before opening the large wooden doors to the compound. "I hope you know what you're doing, Lock," one of the guards murmured.

Azalea chuckled a little. "I guess my landing was pretty lucky. Did you just figure out you have powers today, too?" She looked down at her hands, wishing again she could test out her abilities. "I just found out. Kinda cool, huh?"

@Randeruck

"Actually me and bloom were just talking about this" he says smiling."I've known my power for about a month now. It's kind of just like how I got here I was asleep, and boom there was a scythe in my hand. Scared the living hell out of me. It startled me when I woke so I threw it and it just kinda...dissapeared. It took me about a week to learn that I was actually in control of the scythe, almost like it was another apendage, it also changes into a spear like polearm at will and back, as well as shoot energy like projectiles." Randeruck says proud of his discovery @Shadowflight13

Shin looked back. "I can't really say what my power is your guesses are as good as mine I guess I'm faster now and stronger but that's about it."

"I get that a lot. 's Fine. Yknow those elf folk? They shot me with arrows the first time they saw me. And the second time. The third time, they used fire!" Derg had a friendly, disarming grin. The tone of his voice remained loud, like he could barely control it. "I overheard somethin' about a bunch of holes were forming in the sky, and strange folk are comin' out of them. Is that what was happening over here?"

Bliss couldn't help but feel as if she scared Shin, and that deeply confused her. She was timid and shy because she didn't want to scare people, especially strangers who were already lost as is. The girl took a deep breath and clenched her hands into fists gently, biting her lip out of frustration because she was able to feel a small grape vine tangling around her wrist, growing out of the ground and straight up, clinging onto Bliss.

When Bliss bite her lip and clenched her fist Shin took this as a sign she was mad at him. He looked forward again scared but he tried to not show it.

I'm supposed to be kind and sweet. That's what I am. Why is he scared? Bliss thought to herself, relaxing her fists as she grape vines stopped growing. She kept biting her lip, that was a nervous habit of hers and ever since she came through the portal, the shy girl had been very nervous. Bliss took a deep breath and glanced up at Shin again, wondering what she could possibly do to show him that she was good.

"It's been going on all day!" He said, exitedly. "I saw the first portal from my shop, a few hours ago. Iv seen 'em before, a long time ago." He points over to where the others fell. "Humans from the sky! Can you believe it?" He looks exited, now. Like he just drank a high-caffeine drink. "Amazing things happen all the time around here, but humans from the sky?" His face falls a bit. "Right next to my home, too... I hope they don't think they can go in it... No, no, cottage is only for Stitch..." He says looking in the direction of his cottage.

Shin breathed slowly his symptoms almost kicked in and in this place he bet that it would get them in alot of trouble. "Gotta just keep my cool and be careful try and avoid eye contact with those two."

Bliss took a deep breath and took a small step forward, reaching up and tapping Shin on the shoulder, almost as lightly as if a butterfly had landed where she was tapping. The girl bit her lip, nervous all of a sudden. She took another deep breath, glancing up at him then focusing on the ground.

"Woah woah, calm down, li'l buddy. They prob'ly got cottages in the sky. Must've fell down a hole in a cloud." He says in his most earnest voice.

"I've heard 'bout this sort of thing happening before. Or wassat a tall tale?" He puts his hand on his chin, thoughtfully "Can't keep these stories straight."

"Can ya read? I got a whole lotta books back home, and I can't read none of em'! Maybe they got somethin' in them about sky holes!"

Bliss gnawed on the inside of her cheek nervously as she searched for the words. Eventually she found them and spoke very lightly and gently, as if she was the one scared of him. "Why are you scared of me?" She asked ever so softly, almost not being able to be herd.

Shin didn't look at her as he spoke. "Uh w-what m-me scared ha you have got to uh be um j-joking right heheh um I'm just uh uh alergic yeah that's it I have plant allergies sure let's go with that." He chuckled nervously.

It has never been easy for Bliss to read the emotions of people, but it was obvious that this boy was lying. She bit her lip and took a small step back, but still staying within his earshot as she spoke gently once more, "I'm not good with people... But it's not the plants." She glanced up at him again, tilting her head to the side a bit in confusion.

He knew there was no way out but he had hoped he could have kept it a secret longer. "If I tell you you can't laugh or tell the others please."

"Yeah, I can read. I Could look for information in the sky holes." He didn't comment on having books if you couldnt read, though he was a bit curious on why this Golem had books. "I know a little about them. I know that about 20 years ago, these holes opened and spit a few people out. I don't know what happened to the people, but I don't think they made it back to where they I came from."
