Fantasy Through The Portal

[Crenando]

Derg, who lived in a nearby cave was carrying lumber back to his humble cottage. His neighbors, the elves, wouldn't be happy if they found out he was taking their sacred trees, so he was walking at a fairly brisk place. He stopped to look at his other neighbor, who hadn't talked to him before. His neighbor was looking at something, but what, he didn't know. In his friendiest voice, he shouted "Howdy, Neighbor! What ya lookin' at?"

[Miss Mack]

Bliss looked around at the elves watching her. Occasionally, a root would wrap around her ankle, causing her to stumble and giving the elves a reason to unsheath their weapons. She bit her lip and tried to walk with her head down, not drawing attention to her. The young girl had to focus all of her energy on not letting plants sprout up and around her. She occasionally took a deep breath or gasped softly in surprise when she would step on a plant.

 

[Randeruck]

Randeruck walks next the flower girl noticing she seems to be nervous "don't worry, they won't hurt us unless you give them a reason, just try to take a deep breath and remember what Leoch said about their culture. Respect them and they will respect you." He tells her with a smile on his face trying to re assure her. @Miss Mack

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss nodded and sighed softly, looking at the boy, Randeruck, was his name she believed. "I'm always mistaken." She said simply, biting her lip and glancing up at the clear sky. Deciding she liked it here, Bliss realized she could stay here forever and enjoy the gorgeous scenery, basking in the sun whenever she wanted and growing every type of plant imaginable.

 

[Randeruck]

Randeruck taps the girls shoulder as she is taking in the sun "Umm hey...your growing some roses." He chuckles as he points down. "Since I don't know your name and plants seem to grow everywhere you go I'm gonna call you bloom. Is that okay?" He asks her

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss bit her lip and took a deep breath as the roses slowly stopped growing. "S-sorry... But okay." She sad gently, nodding and walking next to Randeruck slowly. Calm down. He's not a threat... Yet. She bit her lip at the thought and shook her head slightly, pushing it away. "My name isn't Bloom though... But you may call me that." Bliss said softly, smiling a bit.


 
Bliss glanced down and hit her lip, seeing the thorny roses growing by her feet. She took a deep breath and they slowly stopped getting larger. The girl then rubbed one of her eyes and looked at Randeruck. "Sorry..." She said grntly, motioning to the roses. Bliss then looked at him and spoke gently, "That is not my name, but if you would like to call me that, I am okay with it."

 

[Randeruck]

"Alright then Bloom it is, I think it suits you wonderfully." He exclaims with a smile and a laugh. He stops puts his palm to his neck and bows as he passes a group of elf to show repect and continues to walk beside bloom his new friend.

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss gave him a small smile and walked beside him, bowing and placing her hand on her neck, just at he did. They kept walking and she looked at him, trying to find the words to start a casual conversation. Eventually she said, "Thank you. I like the name."

 

[Randeruck]

"Hey it's no problem it just felt right after seeing the roses form beneath your feet" he says casually with a smile on his face. "Tell me a little about you Miss Bloom, like where are you orginally from?" He asks curiously.

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss returned his smile, genuinely this time as he spoke. She listened then answered carefully, "Virginia. United States. Earth. However you would call the home of humans." She bit her lip then nodded, assuming that her reply was good enough. "I could ask you the same question, Mr. Randeruck." Bliss said gently, looking at him.

 

[Randeruck]

"I'm from Texas, United States. Not much of a cowboy though." He chuckles "so we are both from Earth huh? I wonder if everyone is from earth as well, except for the elf of course." He ponders. "We will all have to sit down and get to know our other companions when we get the chance."

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss nodded at the words he spoke, knowing that they were by far the most sane ones she's herd yet. "The girl with the blue flames... That's Azalea." She said gently, pointing to her then shrugging. "I know of nobody else." Bliss tugged on the hem of her shirt and looked around, the fear in her eyes slowly disappearing as it was replaced by curiosity and wonder.

 

[Randeruck]

"How did you meet Azalea?" he asks her curious to learn more. "Also how lo g have you had your powers?"

 

[Miss Mack]

"I came through the portal right next to her. She helped me out... During the fights." Bliss said, looking up at the other girl then focusing back on Randeruck to answer his second question. "But ummm... Since I got here have I known. Found out accidentally." She said, sighing and then asking, "What about you?"

 

[Randeruck]

"I learned about my ability about a month ago I woke up one day and BAM there was a scythe in my hand, scared the hell out of me to be honest."

 

[Shadowflight13]

Azalea eavesdropped quietly to Bliss and Randeruck's conversation. She kept walking normally. and didn't turn around or fall back to join in, but she wanted to listen. Since they were finally asking questions she also wanted the answers to, there was no point in interrupting and possibly forcing Bliss to clam up again.

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss was slowly opening tip to him, relaxing a bit now that they had been talking for awhile and he hasn't revealed his Scythe since the fights. She shivered a bit at the thought of all violence that took place not too long ago between everybody that was walking calmly now, side by side. "I'm sorry. How long did it take you to figure out that it was a gift?" Bliss asked but she thought to herself, or realize it was your curse?

 

[Randeruck]

"I learned it was a gift when I stopped a man who was beating a woman to death in an alley way. I told him to stop and he charged at me Cleary high off his mind in which I prepared my stance and the scythe turned into a spear like Pole arm as I jabbed it forward kicking him in the leg causing him to run away. And as soon as I wished it away it was gone. I realized that that weapon was an extension of me and it is mine to command."

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss listened intently then nodded, biting her bottom lip a bit as he spoke. It horrified her that people would actully hurt others, but she was glad that there were people like Randeruck that were out an about. Those able to help defenseless people... Like herself. Bliss took a deep breath and looked at him. "Good." Was all she said in response, not really sure how else she could reply.

 

[Randeruck]

"So do you particularly like flowers, or was this just the power that you received?" He ask curiously wanting to know more about his new friend as they walk with the rest of the group and greet more elfs as they continue on their way.

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss thought for a moment then said, "I've always liked plants... I never would have guessed that I could make them grow with a power... Recently discovered I'd say." She smiled at him a bit, glad she's made a friend, or something of the sort, in this strange world.

 

[Randeruck]

Randeruck returns the smile then takes a serious tone for a moment. He looks at Bloom and says "Learn to master your new ability, push to as far as you can handle and let the power grow. That power can become very helpful in the most desperate of times and in this new world that power could literally save your life."

 

[Miss Mack]

Bliss bit her lip and looked down slightly as he told her this. She shivered a bit, finally realizing the power she wielded in being able to grow plants. "I don't want to use it to hurt anybody... But that's a fair point." She said gently, looking down at a small root that appeared by her feet.

 

[Randeruck]

"Sometimes in life we have to do what we do not wanna do, that's life no matter where we are that's life." Randeruck states. In a moment of silence randeruck takes the opportunity to add another person to his and his friends conversations. "Hey Azalea why don't you tell us a little bout you as we walk" he says looking at the girl in front of them. @Shadowflight13

Azalea dropped back a little to walk beside him. "Okay." She smiled. "Er... I was walking back to my house when I saw the portal. I just kind of walked into it and stood still. It was strange, like I was being made to do it. Did that happen to you guys?" She looked over at Randeruck and Bliss curiously.
