Fantasy Those who came before

"Well your not a peach to stand next to either. When ever I get done hanging around you guys I smell like a rotting corps... Well, more then I already do." I groaned in dismay at the though of becoming apart of Parant's army, "A literal walk in hell." As I said that to my self I scrunched up my face and laughed a little at my own accidental joke.

((@GreatGuyTomorrow @Saruwatari Tomohisa

Y'all are reminding me of this song rn (top)

(I have talked to thw guy who made that remix lol)

Threlm chuckled, "Well conplain while you can because when your dead it will be a constant dagger ears." Threlm chuckled again. They were bout a mile out from the gates.

(( sorry all my characters bring out the inner homo in everyone xD @Jack of Cloves ))

Amellios looked up at the man and chuckled "no thank you" he smiled 'maybe I should it sounds fun' he contemplated in his head 'what if he drops me I could die' he continued to contemplate wondering what it would be like

Thagnarok, the Grandmaster

Death's Gate

Thagnarok received word from one of the spirits that Leo had finally arrived. He stood from his throne and made his way to the gates, overseeing the three conversing. As he hovered over the snowy white field, the never ending dark gloomy clouds loomed the forsaken Ice keep with several undead fighters here and there.

Naomi stared off into the distance, thinking of her past. It was uncomfortably fitting how they were heading towards Aikido.

Remembering the feeling she had when she first saw Ras and her thoughts about her mentor, she decided to let her curiosity grow. "Ras, are you familar with this emblem?" She pulled out one of her knives and showed it to Ras, pointing to the black flame engraved onto the blade. Her tone was one of genuine curiosity.

"I can teach you the spells to fly if you'd like. Flight magic isn't too difficult either. The power to fly, also referred to as Levitation. While flight magic is generally enabled through a broomstick or staff, it is possible for it to be used stand-alone. However, a staff or broom can carry multiple passengers, while maintaining a speed comparable to an automobile. As flight is simple to perform for even novices, only in emergency situations will mages directly order their brooms or staves. However, though it is considered a basic technique, magically enabled flight is subtly complex and requires many precautions, for example, magic to prevent from slipping off if using a broom, or perception inhibition magic to prevent ordinary people from noticing the mage. Such are some things you need to consider, but those with a strong will logical mind and intelligence will be able to, so I think you could master it quickly.

There are spells like Acceleret, acommand to increase flying speed. Maxima Acceleratio, a command to fly at the highest speed. A Mage can reach a speed of 64.2kts (119km/h) using this command. Mea Virga, rather than the mage telepathically recalling the staff, this spell commands the staff to return by itself. Mobiliter, a command for higher performance, allowing the broom to make faster and sharper actions. Like Rapide Subsistat, this is not a spell for normal usage.Rapide Subsistat, a command to the broom similar to an emergency brake. Due to the added emphasis of magically-powered words from the mage, the broom can perform and react faster than normal. Teleportation, also known as Gate. Due to being a very high-level technique, it is the norm for each to be personally crafted. There are quite a few variations, some involving the use of water or shadows as a medium. And only a handful of extremely powerful mages can use this magic on a personal level."
She explained, methodically, and in-depth, like it was child's play.

Ras watched the symbol. And then activated one of her newly learnt magics. A recent concept known as archive magic. This Magic allows Ras to convert information into magical data, which can be stored, enabling her to gain access to previously stored information, such as other types of Magic. It is mainly used by flat-screens which are projected into the air. These screens are very durable and can be used as a shield. It also allows Ras to transfer information from person to person more quickly than through verbal communication.
Ras put her hands in front of her as two golden coloured circles appeared in mid air, one smaller one just in front of her and diagonally placed, it had various virtual circular buttons for issuing commands in the archive. There was an inner golden ring and an outer one, between the two were several ancient runes just outside the first ring and buttons. At the bottom was a golden hand brace for long hours of typing, it had a jagged shape and a point at the bottom at the top of the circle was a single gold triangle, pointing outwards from Ras.

There was a elongated gold diamond with two same coloured wings, they were directly horizontal and positioned just below the second circle above and in front of the first, which curled in toward the diamond. The second circle had the same inner and outer circular pattern and with the runes between them once more, except this one was much larger, the size of a large flatscreen TV, and had two sets of three golden lines coming off the outermost line on each side of the circle.

8 screens suddenly opened up on the large circle. Four in the middle, two diagonally up, to the righ and left of the top one. Two diagonally below the two two to the sides on the same hight level as the bottom one but diagonally again. On these screens was an immense amount of information, data regarding all types of magics, and usages, how to achieve a unison raid and allow two Mage's to fuse magics, lost magics, caster magics, holder magics, ancient magics. There was also pictures of the black flame emblem and several caches of compiled data regarding it. "Yes, I do believe I am familiar on that. Interesting though, I must say, I'm a little surprised, how interesting though." She stated with a devilish smirk.

Threlm looked over towarss the gate to see Thagnarok hovering towards them. "You have the manuscript right?" Threlm said in a plain voice towards Leo.

(Sorry yesterday was we jump thr world day the first ever parkour and freerunning holiday.)

Leo

I smile and start to walk up to Thagnarok gently slipping out the manuscript and waving it in the air, "I'm sorry, did I make you wait long?" I said with a hint of sarcasm smirking as I observered your face.

"What's so interesting?" Naomi asked. She was eager to hear Ras' response. She knew her mentor as Phoenix Blake. He was the closest person Naomi ever had, and she sometimes treated him as a father figure. It was he who had given her books on dark magic to study when she was alone. She didn't think anything of it until she learned from her brother after Blake's disappearance that dark magic was forbidden in the world. From then on, Naomi was suspicious of her mentor, even though he had convinced her that he was a skilled and honest fighter.

While thoughts ran throuh her mind, Naomi couldn't help but wonder if Ras knew her real name. Does it even matter anymore? She thought. They'd probably forget it anyway.

@Ras

(( sorry guys im not going to be on all day ))

Amellios looked completely shocked he then sat back in the carriage and let spells run through his head about flight, you could hear him muttering some stuff and small light flashes popping around him as he concentrated he muttered " Natus de lumine" and a bright light formed behind him but quickly disappeared, he didn't even notice as he kept reciting spells

Ras grinned as she saw Naomi's reaction. She leant next to her and whispered quietly enough for no one else no hear. "So tell me, Naomi Lockway, what's a rich upper class noble, from a well known household doing Here huh? Unless you ran away from home, I hear that's a common thing these days." She said before leaning back with the same grin lingering upon her face.

"hehehe. Seems I've peaked your interest." Ras stated watching him. He seemed quite the logical man, which was similar in many ways to herself, as such was nessisary to use magic. It was much like a scientific formula, saying the right things, in the right order to produce different effects. When to use it, how to use your will power and have the needed will to subdue mana from the surrounding static energy into your body and confer it into mana. All these things were nessisary and only those with the needed mental strength could achieve it.

Naomi was shocked at what Ras had told her. She had half the mind to attack her out of anger, but she held back. Instead, she replied in a furious whisper. "Why don't you live in your brother's shadow for your whole life and be forced into marriage with someone you've never even met? If I knew I was so disposable to them, I would have left sooner." She calmed down a bit and continued. "I just want to know about Phoenix. Please, tell me what happened to him." She realized that she was at Ras' mercy now. Being confronted about her past made her feel defeated. She figured by this point that Ras knew everything about her.

@Ras

Amellios opened his eyes and looked at Ras "did I miss anything" he asked because as he was reciting spells in his head it cut of all his senses and so he really didn't know what happened "I think I found a spell that will give me the ability of flight using my light magic" he said to Ras

Castle nodded in acknowledgement at Jake's response as she leaned back, watching the others interact with each other as the cart moved. 'We're not going to arrive at the capital sooner than I wanted,' she thought with a sigh as she felt her pockets for any more snacks. Unfortunately for her, all her chocolate sticks had gone down her throat and her mint leaves seemed to have withered away in the heat. Eating calmed her down and without snacks, she might develop into a moody demon later on. Not to mention her shadows showing hostility towards the light mage. "Does anyone have something to munch on that isn't poisonous? Not that it matters and all, I just don't want anything running in my bloodstream" she called out but didn't really expect much of a response.

Henry stared out the moving carriage watching the trees pass by. Once and a while, he would look at his palm and play with the coin in his hand. It had a sapphire embedded in the center with several circles and other shapes surrounding it. It was one of his masterpieces that he cherished. He listened to the others make conversation. For a moment, he was worried that Ras was attempting to aggravate Nat, but it quickly settled without physical damage. Then there was the conversation on flying which had yet to conclude. Hearing the dark elf ask for some food without poison was rather moot considering that she didn't trust any of them. He replied with a disinterested tone,"I have dried meats, nuts, some berries, and rock candy."

His voice masked his curiosity as he waited to see if Castle would accept his food following the poison remark. He bet to himself that she wouldn't but who knows?

"Hm, I don't have much but I have little pieces of candy if that will satisfy you." I fish out a few wrapped hard candies from my pocket and hand them to you making sure none of them haven't gone bad or broke.

@FadeAway I won't be here too much today (maybe) playing town of Salam rn and just, I'm hooked :P ))

Castle eyed Henry curiously as she proceeded to sit beside him, retracting the shadows from her finger tips. She leaned on her palm and smiled as she clicked her tongue, "The candy... What kind of candy?" she proceeded to question his supply with caution and interest. Although she was afraid of poison, she had a good number of antidote vials hidden within her cloak in case they were poisoned. Then she turned to Jake and smiled, "Sure I'll try them!"

(( Dude my brother just got Dark Souls 3 xD I might be playing that too :) ) ))

Henry didn't know what to say. Apparently, she wasn't afraid of the poison as much as he thought she would be. Taking out a pouch from his bag, he showed the multi-coloured sugar rocks to her. He opened the pouch and waited for her to decide if she wanted one. "A trader from afar had sold it to me. They're really just giant sugar crystals though these ones have honey in the center."

@FadeAway

((Dark Souls 3? I want to play that so badly, but I don't have any new generation systems, and I doubt my computer can run it. I got to play the first one until just after the Taurus Demon... got destroyed by the dragon that I didn't see coming.))

Castle smirked as she pointed to the rock that glowed with a lighter shade of red. "I'll eat that one if you eat one with me. If it tastes funny, I'll stab you in the neck" she chuckled darkly as she twirled around her poisoned needles. "You don't want that right?" She added.

@EuclidAmarok

(( I haven't even gotten to the first boss and I've died more than 15 times ;_; My blood echoes are disappearing :( @MrPotato Compared to Bloodbourne, how bad is it? xD ))

"Though it would be amusing to see you try, I'll go with avoiding a gamble between you and I." Henry replied, popping one of rock candies into his mouth. He was saving it for later, but he loved the taste of sugar melting into his mouth that he ended up not caring. Gesturing towards the bag, he raised an eyebrow as he waited.

@FadeAway

((Whoa, I only died once reaching the boss. Then the boss killed me twice, and I fell off the cliff while rolling more times than I can count. I keep forgetting it's one of those games that don't have invisible walls by drops.))

(( The gremlins on the first level have such low health that they die in a single strike but their attack power is way higher than yours xD ))

"You're a wise one, good choice on your part" Castle snickered as she placed the needle back into its holster before reaching out to pick a rock. Sweets has always been something she enjoyed and perhaps one of her weaknesses while traveling. She eyed him carefully first before popping the rock into her mouth. Without chewing on its hard exterior it began to melt in her mouth as the soothing taste of honey flowed out of its shell. "Such an interesting candy," she hummed as she enjoyed the treat before processing whether it had been spiked or not. So far her body showed no hostile reaction towards the treat and neither did she start feeling ill of sorts. 'Perhaps he was telling the truth,' she sighed from the thought.
