That blade is a lot more than you think and it can very easily harm you." She warned before pulling her shirt down. That's when Aermik arrived. Before he even said anything, she pulled him to her in a tight hug. She wasn't letting go and that was very evident. Then he spoke, but her face was too far buried in his chest for her to say anything. As for the barrier around the place, the hellfire that surrounded the initial barrier would absorb the fire with no issue then spit a bigger one out at the person.

Locke flew the several hour long trip in scilence, not stopping until he was in the Demon's Den. As he entered, he lazily walked the halls, past the throne room and library, to his bedroom. He threw his cloak and clothes to the corner and passed out.

Behind him stood Carson grinning "you guys shoulda just stayed quite~" it in fact wasn't a dagger stabbing the man but the tip of Carson's tail. He yanked it out causing the corpse to just fall to the ground "I leave for 5 seconds and you have already started a fight!" He said laughing at jgraz

"Your point? I'll take my chances, besides if I lose some blood it'll be fine, I just got some more rather recently." Bel'Naga chuckled and leaned against the wall across the hall from them. "Anyway I hope you have some plans to do something today, I'm actually rather curious as to some things that may hopefully happen today."

Shy saw the fireball and unsummoned her hound, allowing the fire to hit her head on. Giggling at the scorched area she was sitting in as well as the now burned tree she looked at the barrier. "Well well. Seems like this place has some pretty good defenses." Shylu giggled again and got up, flying over the two rings of fire and knocking on the barrier as if it were a door. She then landed back on the scorched area that had just been caused and waited.

Looking the two over, she thought it was kind of amusing to see those older than her call her ma'am. Being called General was just the icing on the cake. Leaving the building, she turned back to the duo with a smile, clear to set an impression herself. "Gehardt, Damian. Feel free to practice your sentry duties in your free time, but for now, just escorting me will do. Thank you." she told them, before turning off onto the path that would lead them towards the palace. "Whilst we're walking - tell me about yourselves. It's always interesting to hear a soldier's story. It'll alleviate the silence whilst we walk - don't be shy now, you two.". Elsbeth could hear the passing gossip of men and women alike, curious to the purpose of what looked to be two Blaze Guard soldiers escorting a bandit. She didn't particularly mind it, of course, but felt that the new armour would help to clear any misjudgment or prejudice people might have against her at first sight. She hadn't known if the word of her becoming General that day had become public to Orbis' citzens yet, but by the sounds of it, the news had not yet spread. "...Anything else I should know about, by the way? Anything about the nomination?"

I was way younger when our dear Emperor Lionheart was murdered in cold blood by that wretched Hearthfire. I thought the kingdom was doomed at the hands of a corrupt man... Then Galandor stood up. We're glad that he managed to take Hearthfire out." An awkward silence stood as they kept walking, and then Damian started talking. "I-I joined last week. My parents are both merchants, and they travel the whole continent selling their wares. I'm not a traveler, or a merchant, so i end up joining the Guard. I'm not that experienced, but Gehardt is teaching me a lot." Damian looks to Gehardt. Gehardt spoke again. "Answering your question ma'am, the ceremony will be held in the main courtyard. All of the Guard will be there, to acknowledge and witness the nomination. It won't be a great party, but it'll have its share of celebration, ma'am."

The 'bear's eyes would shift to Naga in a cold stare, he would shift off the wall he had leaned against, his eyes shone with a look of disdain, they locked on Naga with anger, before he could think of a response, Bellatrix would pop in, explaining that he didn't enjoy teasing. A slight grin came upon his lips, looking back so many years ago, he realized the fights between him and the lich had been enjoyable, she had been one of the first opponents to survive a blow without dismemberment, death, or mortal injury. He would experience a few more opponents, and his standing here was testament to victory. His eyes flickered between the two. The darker orbs would focus on the approaching servant, realizing this was a rather... Delicate moment for Bellatrix, he wouldn't want her interrupted. As he passed by Naga on his way to intercept the servant, he muttered in a low tone. "You'd lose something far more important than blood." Of course only a few steps later he would shove his massive form in front of the servant. "What's your business?" The servant paused to bow before speaking. "An intruder has been spotted by the barrier." The younger man would shift to show Uhtred a small map, it seemed they had a rather detailed map of the current barrier. "I'll deal with it." At that, the servant was dismissed, the huge man paused to shift his sword, feeling he might need it soon. "I'll be back, after this intruder his dealt with." The swordsman would inform the three in the hall in particular the queen, as his last order had been to come with her. Regardless though, the Champion would disappear down the halls.


Soon enough the fire hell hound summoning woman would see a figure approaching, Uhtred would not have his weapon out, nor he would have his armor equipped. The bearded man said nothing, until he had stepped through the barrier, a bit to the side of flame his eyes honed in on the tree. "You've done a good job setting dirt on fire, now per regulations, I give you this chance, leave and return peacefully."

Smiling Faolin nodded. Silently he followed Thalia. He looked at her. She was always smiled come to think of it so did he. Maybe he just didn't think about it. He smiled less when around other people but at Thalia he was smiling more. Perhaps her smile was infectious. He chuckled at that thought as he stated, "Well then Queen Thalia I shall be honored to dine with you this evening." He looked into her eyes then closed his. In that brief second his eyes might have given away his feelings. His trust his love for her. Just her not her beauty or anything else just her. He somewhat hoped she hadn't seen. He felt she wasn't ready and probably wouldn't take him seriously if he told her what he truly felt. He sat at a random table.

Thalia smiled as she began eating her meal which was a salad with other small vegetables on top and breed crumbs as well sprinkled lightly. "I do hope you enjoy your stay here," She told him with a smile.

After enough time of roaming the gardens, Em decided it was time to return to her room. Glamour gone, she was greeted as usual by Murc hopping onto her shoulder with an excited puff of steam from his small nose. She looked down at him and sighed. "I'm starting to feel like the queen has forgotten that we're here, my friend. I'm sorry... I know how cooped up you must feel here but I'm not willing to test Queen Thalia's patience. If anything, I fear this could be a test from her to see how long I'll last with no contact from her... or she's entertaining a guest." Em drew her eyebrows together, faintly wondering if she had forgotten and was treating other company. She also wondered if the queen had even specified she was confined to her quarters. Surely there must be a place the mage could train? After all, if she were to be in the queen's service, surely she'd be allowed to improve her skills? Em sighed, lowering herself onto the rug and giggling to herself, the slate grey fabric of her dress crinkling as Murc eyed her with a mischievous look. "No," she whispered, "I'm not testing the queen's forming trust. If she finds any value in me, she'll arrange a meeting... otherwise I fear I'll go mad."

Thalia was rather confused as to where that new warrior of hers is. Thalia signaled for one of the servants to come over and the servant walked over to her with her hand behind her back,"Please go and find where our other guest is and invite her to dinner," Thalia said. She didn't forget about the guest she just got carried away with everything thats been going on, since she has a lot on her mind. The servant bowed and left the room to find her. When she finally found her she told her,"The queen would like you to join her for dinner." She told her.
