Shin sighed and looks at the crying girl. "If you want to, you could stay here as long as needed..." Shin smiled and patted her head. "Sleep well..." He said and left the room. As he left the room, he nearly dropped to the ground. "Too... tired..."


"Lord Shisaki!" One of his servants ran to him and helped him to get to his room.

Tina immediatly slept. It was day and therefore it was sleepy time for her anyways. She would sleep until woken up. @Rayischo

Numerous hours had passed since their arrival into Orbis - Elsbeth awoke roughly around noon in her own chamber, wearing a silky crimson nightgown that her mother had graciously provided her. She had slept better than in previous moons, and she had finally the time to catch up with her parents, tell them stories, and have them tell her stories. The twisting feeling in her gut that had buried itself was slowly fading - though a lingering version of it still lurked. Perhaps it was because of the looming thoughts of war? Looking out onto the capital of Orbis, memories of her past self started flowing back to her. Secretly, she had always been a deviant, it seemed. Her parents probably always knew that, though - Was just a matter of time.
Upon this, Elsbeth heard a knocking at the door. Were they the soldiers Galandor mentioned? Either way, she would have to get dressed soon enough. Picking up her desert attire, she slipped out of her nightgown into it, leaving her two blades near her bedside as she tended to the door downstairs. She would be lying if she said she weren't anxious to see what had been made for her, but she had to be patient. A virtue couldn't so easily be forgotten. At least, not in dark times.

Two guards, the older about 30 and the younger no older than 25, stood in the door. They were dressed in the same default armor of the Blaze Guard, although theirs were a little too shiny. The oldest one stepped forward and spoke, his way of speech formal and professional, albeit a little too forced. "We're here to escort you to the palace, ma'am. I'm Gehardt, and this is Damian." He pointed to the younger. "We're ready when you are, General." He opened way for Elsbeth to leave the house, but in a way that seemed like he was guarding the place. static, eyes fixated ahead, a stern look. It was subtle, but he was cleary trying to impress. The younger one didn't say anything, just tried to imitate his elder, and seemed like he was a rookie, with his shifty movements and awkward looks.

"I will be joining you, I always join my guest to serve them company on their first evening here." Thalia said speaking so softly and calmly as they proceeded towards the dinning room. Thalia smiled on the way, she always smiled but she never knew why. Maybe it was her personality showing or maybe it was because she was around, but she couldn't stop. When they arrived they were seated, Thalia sat across from him and their first meal was brought to them.

Smiling Faolin nodded. Silently he followed Thalia. He looked at her. She was always smiled come to think of it so did he. Maybe he just didn't think about it. He smiled less when around other people but at Thalia he was smiling more. Perhaps her smile was infectious. He chuckled at that thought as he stated, "Well then Queen Thalia I shall be honored to dine with you this evening." He looked into her eyes then closed his. In that brief second his eyes might have given away his feelings. His trust his love for her. Just her not her beauty or anything else just her. He somewhat hoped she hadn't seen. He felt she wasn't ready and probably wouldn't take him seriously if he told her what he truly felt. He sat at a random table.

Looking the two over, she thought it was kind of amusing to see those older than her call her ma'am. Being called General was just the icing on the cake. Leaving the building, she turned back to the duo with a smile, clear to set an impression herself. "Gehardt, Damian. Feel free to practice your sentry duties in your free time, but for now, just escorting me will do. Thank you." she told them, before turning off onto the path that would lead them towards the palace. "Whilst we're walking - tell me about yourselves. It's always interesting to hear a soldier's story. It'll alleviate the silence whilst we walk - don't be shy now, you two.". Elsbeth could hear the passing gossip of men and women alike, curious to the purpose of what looked to be two Blaze Guard soldiers escorting a bandit. She didn't particularly mind it, of course, but felt that the new armour would help to clear any misjudgment or prejudice people might have against her at first sight. She hadn't known if the word of her becoming General that day had become public to Orbis' citzens yet, but by the sounds of it, the news had not yet spread. "...Anything else I should know about, by the way? Anything about the nomination?"

After enough time of roaming the gardens, Em decided it was time to return to her room. Glamour gone, she was greeted as usual by Murc hopping onto her shoulder with an excited puff of steam from his small nose. She looked down at him and sighed. "I'm starting to feel like the queen has forgotten that we're here, my friend. I'm sorry... I know how cooped up you must feel here but I'm not willing to test Queen Thalia's patience. If anything, I fear this could be a test from her to see how long I'll last with no contact from her... or she's entertaining a guest." Em drew her eyebrows together, faintly wondering if she had forgotten and was treating other company. She also wondered if the queen had even specified she was confined to her quarters. Surely there must be a place the mage could train? After all, if she were to be in the queen's service, surely she'd be allowed to improve her skills? Em sighed, lowering herself onto the rug and giggling to herself, the slate grey fabric of her dress crinkling as Murc eyed her with a mischievous look. "No," she whispered, "I'm not testing the queen's forming trust. If she finds any value in me, she'll arrange a meeting... otherwise I fear I'll go mad."

Carson chuckled and went to loot "that's why I don't use weapons. Once they're gone they're gone." The men sadly had nothing of great use. Just pocket change and useless knives. The assassin counted out the coin and split it with jgraz "there ya go. I'm keeping the knives to sell....."

"Very well." Jgraz tells him and rummages through the bag of the man pinned to the tree. He pulls out a knife and a spell tome. He opens the spell tome and reads to title. Dark Arts: Necromancy He gasps then burns the book in his hands. The book smokes and the anguished screams of the dead rise from it. The pages curl up and it turns to ash.

"Very well." Jgraz tells him and rummages through the bag of the man pinned to the tree. He pulls out a knife and a spell tome. He opens the spell tome and reads to title. Dark Arts: Necromancy He gasps then burns the book in his hands. The book smokes and the anguished screams of the dead rise from it. The pages curl up and it turns to ash.

Carson raised his eyebrow curiously at jgraz as he watched the book burn "um......what was that for?? I probably could've sold that junk......" He grumbled crossing his arms childishly

Carson growled when the necklace wasn't given to him and kept walking "yeah let's go before more 'bandits' get us....."

After miles of trekking and climbing they finally arrived at the mountain kingdom. The entrance was a gigantic circle shaped door with a few guards in front. There weren't many people coming in and out due to how hard it is to get to the kingdom.


Carson jumped up the last ledge and leaned over the side grinning at jgraz "I'm waiting~"

After miles of trekking and climbing they finally arrived at the mountain kingdom. The entrance was a gigantic circle shaped door with a few guards in front. There weren't many people coming in and out due to how hard it is to get to the kingdom.

Jgraz pushes up the rock and steps on to the ledge, then lets the rock fall. "Amazing." He looks at the intricate designs and arches. He walks to the gate. "After you, my friend."

The guards smiled as Carson walked up to them "heh lizard is back from his latest hunt......"

The guard sighs and looks to Carson "well you know the drill by now. What's your business on earth kingdom and how long do you plan to stay?" He asked then asked the same question to jgraz


"I'm here to collect my money and I live here so.......quite some time."

It had been a while but she felt that her journey was worth it. She almost had enough sulfur and soon would return to the fire kingdom to give the man his sulfur. She was currently headed toward the darkest of the kingdoms, and it was a neighboring kindom from what she could tell. As she approached the city she looked at the barrier curiously and giggled. "They must really not like strangers." She used her phoenix fire and shot a ball at the barrier, hoping for a reaction of some sort. While she waited she decided to sit against a nearby tree and summoned her hound pup. "Alright, this should be a nice little break."

Carson stops in the middle of town and takes a deep breath "ahhh that earthy smell.......I can't get enough of it. Reminds me of home......since this is my home~" he said grinning and looked around "well the guy I have to get my money from is in a restaurant so you can get some food there if you want"
