Several hours had passed and Locke had finally landed on some rooftops in a village, through skydiving without a parachute. As he landed, he smelled sulfur. An awful lot of sulfur. Maybe it was his sister? He began tracking the scent, leading him to an alleyway with a really big hole that seemed to be digging itself. What in the Nine Hells was going on here? And then there was some freaky psycho-lizard guy swinging at the air. "Whelp, nothing ventured" As he tried to use the wind to enhance his senses, picking up dogs? Invisible dogs digging for sulfur. " nothing gained." He stood and removed his hood, making his demonic nature known to all who cared to look. "What kind of drug trip did I stumble on to?!" He made sure the alley and possibly the streets could hear him.

Bellatrix pinched the bride of her nose. "Behave. We've never had such relations, you only wish them to be in your dreams and deepest desires Naga. Now I've had enough for the night..morning. Please leave or go to sleep." She said, this time her voice lacking in any playful tones. She'd had enough for right now as she laid down in the nice warmth of the two bodies around her. This...is really about to get annoying..I wonder just how much these two will believe the come from his mouth.. A sigh once more came from her mouth before she fell into a deep comfortable sleep with the two men she most really hoped wouldn't believe she was that much of..harlot.

Silently Faolin looked at her and smiled. Hearing the bell he looked at her then stated, "Well then I think I shall go eat. Are you joining me or does the Queen banquet somewhere special?" He wouldn't be offended if she did eat somewhere else yet...Perhaps it wasn't best he thought about his love for her and his thought about her while she was standing their right next to him. He smiled gently. His face was two readable like a book.

"I will be joining you, I always join my guest to serve them company on their first evening here." Thalia said speaking so softly and calmly as they proceeded towards the dinning room. Thalia smiled on the way, she always smiled but she never knew why. Maybe it was her personality showing or maybe it was because she was around, but she couldn't stop. When they arrived they were seated, Thalia sat across from him and their first meal was brought to them.

Carson sighed "I hate invisible......it's my job." His tail quickly did a twirl of the area around him slicing whatever was in its way. He then jumped up to a roof and held on there with his claws "my my miss you talk to your mother with that mouth?" He said laughing maniacally before jumping off in her direction looking to land on her

As the hounds were knocked back they all dashed to Shylu and instantly piled onto her, she had finished her collecting and waited for the boy to impact upon her pile of hounds. Once that had happened she, and her hounds all became visible as she morphed back into a human-ish state and jumped with speed and force in the direction of the newly arrived demon. All her hounds went straight for the lizard boy, not disappearing in hellfire until she was in full flight and out of danger. Looking back she realized she had picked up the demon boy and smiled. "Oh, hey there kid. You're coming with me, at least until I feel we're in a safer position." Looking forward she kept her gaze focused on getting away. She knew she could win the fight, but she had no intentions of fighting until the rebellion needed her hounds. "My name is Jaina. Who might you be?"

Everyone would sleep, in their own spots. Hours would pass, and the morning would break through the dark and spread across the Quaani Kingdom. Slowly, the whole of a kingdom would awaken the morning was beautiful in a sense, the skies weren't just now clearing, a nice morning mist would hover over the land, in previous times this fog had gave it a very ominous feeling, but now it was simply relaxing. Uhtred, would leave the bedroom far before the awakening of the kingdom and rise of light, yet lack of sun, he forced odd sleeping patterns on himself to simply test himself. The Champion would have left Bella and Aermik to their own awakenings, of course he shoved the queen closer to her pet, he didn't want neither of them being cold. If someone looked for the bear of a man, they'd find the royal armory, the doors locked or barred from the inside, Uhtred would be exercising, in private. He had to make his own fighting style for the massive weapon, and had spent every morning drilling it deeper into his conscious, he could fight in his sleep. Of course, not really, but he had it down to muscle memory. The man would stop himself at a particularly nasty downward slash, it would follow a parry if he used it correctly, many times he had split men in half with that particular technique. His eyes would flicker to the door, as if something moved outside.

"Contract work. Also I'm surprised you haven't noticed what I am, after all demon's shouldn't have a problem recognizing other demons. Then again it could be my half phoenix throwing it off." Shylu giggled and looked back at her mantle wings. "I've got about another ten minutes of flight in me..." She continued carrying the boy and soon landed, "Anyway why are you here?"

Bellatrix would find herself awakening much closer to Aermik, her arms and legs wrapped around him an her body temperature quite warm for once. Without waking him, of course, she'd kiss Aermik's sleeping cheek then very carefully remove herself from his arms as walk from the bed to her balcony. This was something she often did after a long day or night, in this case it was both. Silently she opened the double glass doors and took a deep breath. The air smelled like it always did, lightly musky mixed with the black roses that grew around her castle. After taking a deep breath, she walked outside and leaned on the balcony; her eyes looking out over the great expanse of her land as her mind wandered to many a deep thought. While she did so, a warm gentle breeze blew by her, lifting her purple hair into the wind with it as though it were caressing the sad queen.

"As his feet finally touched solid ground again, he turned to face Shylu. Locke was more surprised that she didn't seem to remember that she startled him and got him by his shirt collar. Although, the phoenix half would make it tricky on sight. "I WAS looking for someone. But seeing as you are not the person I'm looking for, mind telling me your actual name?" Locke was really just messing with her, trying to get a rise out of her, anything to get a quick laugh. "I mean, I gave you my real name. Common courtesy." His face was set in seriousness, giving no easily identifiable hint that he's joking. His voice was even and measured, with a hint of accusation. He was playing this straight to get a laugh through her predicted indignation.

Aermik stirred in the bed, opening his heavy eyelids then shutting them again before turning over. He thought he felt something earlier, but now was in the bed alone. His tired mind didn't care, however as he felt himself nodding off once again, feeling the warm darkness envelop him as he fell back asleep. His dreams were filled with odd scenes, people dying, coming back to life. Faces becoming clear only to fade into nothingness. Bellatrix holding then dropping him. It was all very surreal and he woke with a sudden start, looking around the room to see he was alone. He sighed as his feet hit the floor and he walked out of the room.

"Well well, someone seems to be deep in thought." Bel'Naga joined Bellatrix on the balcony and looked over the land. "Nice place as usual. So how's life been for you since I've been stuck in the elemental realm." Bel'Naga looked over at Bellatrix, there were times where he could be serious such as now. "I'm sure my good friend Bella has had something good happen, after all it seems you've gotten quite a few boy toys as of late. I also went around and overheard some people talking about you and a king of another land? Surely you have some juicy details there." Bel'Naga chuckled before staring ahead blankly, "Seriously though, how have you been."

"So you're looking for someone huh? Well if you trust me enough I could help you out, besides, I lost a certain bet so I've doubled my contract's request... long story." Shylu returned to smiling and held out her hand. "Jaina, mercenary for hire, at your service!"

Bellatrix looked over at Bel'Naga with a sad look. "My life? In the past twenty four hours I have failed my family." It hurt to admit that, as true as it was. "Zelarous betrayed the kingdom..we sent him to hell. My adoptive daughter left me without a goodbye or any word. I'm very sure that was my fault. Aermik.." She sighed softly and looked out toward the land. "Where do I start? I feel as though I have hurt him..caused him many a pain emotionally..and he's going to find the daughter I should of treated better.." Her voice wavered slightly as she closed her eyes for a long moment before opening them. "As for Galandor..he has sparked my interests..and hopefully I his, but I cannot leave this place to go see him..or should I..I have any problems to to solve and very little time to do so..war will start soon and I am neigh prepared. I mean look at me.. I'm a mess only after my fight rough day.." Her eyes fell to her arms which lay one over the other on the obsidian rail guard. Her pale skin very easily sticking out from the black railing.

Although, he could have sworn he heard about someone like this. Demon, mercenary, hides true name... eh it was probably someone else. He shook her hand hesitantly. "Look, I just started looking for them in earnest, and I'm sure as hell not going near the Light or Sky Kingdoms unless I have to. However, if you see a demon girl with bull-like horns, point me in her direction." This day was just getting better and better. His first expedition to find his sister was a bust, he was going to need to head back before the bandits got any ideas, AND there's a scary horse man with an equally scary flying lion patrolling the Air Kingdom. Locke pulled out his flask, took a swig, and sat down. "Nice to know today has been nothing but bad luck. At least I'm not dead. To living." He took another swig from his flask.

"Ahh and that is where the good old reliable Bel'Naga comes into play." Bel'Naga chuckled for but a split second before placing an arm around Bellatrix for comfort. "Now that I'm here I can help you manage things as you mend your family and maybe catch yourself a permanent ally. Besides, even though I came here through my own means I'm still technically under your service. You leave running a kingdom to a wise elemental and tend to your more intimate things." Bel'Naga rarely was like this, though being in a good mood helped a lot. "Besides, if war does arise, I'll always be by your side and make sure you never have to worry about a thing. Plus as I already said but if you can get this 'King Galandor' to be an ally for good, then we've got no way of losing. How about it? Let me help you rise to your former glory I knew of you five years ago. Back then I had to admit you were one hell of a girl." Bel'Naga chuckled and walked toward the doors back into the castle, "You know what's best for your kingdom, but don't be afraid to ask those who are close for help, unless you wish to see your downfall."

"To living!" Shylu giggled and fell back into the sand. "Though how should I contact you if I find this kin of yours? I really would like to help, kin should always be together in some way. It's important." Shylu snapped her fingers and her latest hellhound, which was still only a pup, appeared in her arms. "After all, my family is all my hellhounds and a friend back in my home forest." Shylu giggled and thought of an idea. "I got an idea, I'll help you find your sister! I'm very sure you can handle yourself but I've got nothing to do but sulfur hunting anyway and I'm pretty sure I ran this area dry so I have to travel anyway. How about it?"

"I live out in the Air Kingdom ruins, look for a bandit and ask them about the Demon's Den. They'll know what you're talking about." Locke took a third swig of Scumble from his flask. The stuff burned, but it did quite the job. So much so that he didn't even wonder how she knew he was looking for his sister. At hearing her idea, he chuckled. "That sounds like a great idea. Y'know, let's go ahead and do that. I need to head home anyways." He got up and sealed his flask, placing it back in his coat. "See ya later Jiana!" And at that, he took off once more, invigorated and speeding towards the Air Kingdom.

The elemental had already left, knowing that she wouldn't trust him to take over while she fixed her problems. He knew very well and was glad she'd never agree to that. Bel'Naga had felt the empowering feelings of rulership and honestly got quite bored of it rather quickly. That was a tale for another day though. For now it was time to cause some more mischief and maybe help around a little bit. First he had to find some blood though, he was getting a little weary from his blood lust starting to take control. "Off to find some bandits... I'm sure they won't need their blood for much longer." Grinning an evil grin Bel'Naga transformed into his true form and began his hunt for a sad soul that was breaking the law.

Bellatrix shook her head and walked over to her night stand and took out the ruby from Galandor and turned it over in her hands several times. She wanted to make it into a necklace so she could wear it all the time, but she hadn't made jewelry in quite the amount of time. She also idly wondered what he would do if he was here. She could smash it and hope he would come..but she had no reason for him to be here other than the fact that she missed his presence. With a soft sigh she got up from the bed, ruby still in hand as she walked to the dresser and set it down on top before undressing and looking for clothes to wear for the day.

The swooshing of the blade intensified, emotions from deep inside Uhtred began to boil forth, his movements became faster aggressive. His face had been blank, until now, rage sat satisfied in his very essence, the massive weapon whipped around in deadly arcs, his final stroke, would pause as he finished the 'dance' of combat. Rage had overtaken his veins as he placed the weapon on his back. The swordsman had no idea what to do now, he threw open the doors, removing the few items he used to bar the doors shut. Unfortunately, he would step out to accidentally bump straight into a servant, poor man would flail before falling and bonking his head on the wall. The Champion cursed under his breath, almost blaming the poor man for getting in his way. But he sighed, bending to check he was alright, sure it was just a concussion of minor scale, he'd take up what was in hand. A letter. The man would blink, tearing it open without care as he saw a foreign stamp. His eyes flickered over the words and he would growl to himself.


Poor Bella, her doors would burst open, a rather angry looking Uhtred would hold the opened letter, thrusting it towards her as he approached. "What, is, this?" His voice oozed of anger, and he didn't particularly care he came at the worst possible moment. Little did she know, he had never learned to read, and he was just in a bad mood. He held out the letter from Galandor.

The minute her doors would be burst into, Bellatrix would ump and try her best to cover herself. As she heard a familiar voice cursing and holding something out to her. It was an open letter from Galandor. Ironic. However that didn't change the fact she was quite..indecent at the moment and he'd just burst in with rage. "It's a letter from our allies! Chill." She demanded and took the letter from him, her right hand doing the best it could to cover herself. "Now if you don't mind Uhtred, I am very indecent!" She shouted, her face quite red as she pulled a random outfit from her dresser along with undergarments. "So why are you so damn angry this morning? Did I kick you in your sleep again?" She questioned as she awkwardly dressed.

The Champion would glare at her a second, before turning in respect, of course only because she made a complaint about it. "Allies? Why would we need any? Quaani is the strongest, no-one can contest us, allies are a weakness." He huffed at her statement at being angry. "I'm not angr-." His tone faltered from it's aggressive nature as he realized he was angry. "Ah... So I am." He coughed to himself. "Er, no, it's something else." The man reached to his beard, stroking it as he did when in thought. "Why would send us a letter of runes? Doesn't sound like an ally." He had mistaken the writing for magic based text. If she didn't get it now that he couldn't read, she'd find out sooner than later. "I slept well, you barely moved... I think."

Bellatrix finished dressing and shook her head at him. "Allies are not a weakness. They will certainly help us. This one especially." She said and placed the letter next to the ruby before smirking at his words about them 'magic runes.' "Uhtred..darling..its regular English like you and I speak. No runes involved." She chuckled then picked up the letter and read it. "Do you not know how to read or write?" She asked him as she walked to her amour and sat down in front of the mirror, but nor before grabbing the ruby and taking it with her. She was going to keep that on her for the rest of the time she owned it until she would need to use it. After sitting down, she began to brush out her long purple hair, her tired lilac eyes looking to Uhtred in the mirror.

The champion was dead silent, she had changed, as he realized, alot more than he expected. But regardless, that wouldn't change anything, he would stay true to his words at his defeat. "Of course I do." It was a lie, and it was obvious he was lying, because normally he never lied, so when he did his eyes dropped to the ground and didn't stay intensely focused on her, as they usually were. "I'm just rusty is all." He made the excuse. "A few centuries rusty." There was a sigh and he glowered at her, challenging her to make fun of him. "I could read when I was 3 feet tall."
