Fandom The Untold Stories of Hogwarts - 1x1 HP RP

Aaron laughed as Xavier called him a big shot and nodded, smiling before he turned around to join the rest of his team. Oliver Wood posed proudly with his first ever Quidditch Cup. Aaron stood beside the messy haired seeker, Harry Potter, both boys’ arms around each other as they posed for the camera. The photographer took the picture and Aaron held up his pointer finger as it was taken to symbolize that this was their first of hopefully many cups.

Xaie couldn't help the pride in his heart as he watched the team pose for pictures. Aaron had really found his place in the team and in his house. This win was deserved and Xavier couldn't wait to continue celebrating this win, and hopefully it was the first of many. The smile on his face as he stood there was ear to ear.

The picture was snapped and the team dispersed. Aaron went over to Xavier and grinned as he slung an arm around Xavier’s shoulder. “How did I look? Did they catch my good side?” he asked with a playful smirk, always with a great big ego.

Xavier shook his head as Aaron came over, his arm around Xavier's shoulders. Xaie gave him a look "Ya know, I think they need to redo it, because all I see is a great big ego" Xavier laughed as he smiled at the Gryffindor teen beside him. "Nah, you looked great mate" He added, a smirk on his face as he felt himself leaning into Aaron's side subconsciously.

“Oh shut up,” laughed Aaron as he gently pushed Xavier to the side. “You’re just jealous I’m handsome and all the Gryffindor chicks are going to be all over me at dinner tonight,” he joked. Although he didn’t want this at all. The only person he wanted thinking he was cool and being near him was Xavier Collins. He’d take Xavier over the prettiest Gryffindor girls a thousand times over.

As Xavier packed his trunk yet again, as another year drew to a close, he remembered the day that Gryffindor had won the cup. Aaron had joked about the fact that he'd have all the Gryffindor chicks around him. He had tried not to let the joke sit too deep but sometimes he wondered if his crush on the boy was silly and he didn't stand a chance with him. Xavier grabbed his trunk and headed out, Ryan already in the common room. "Can't believe third year is already over" Xavier commented as the two headed towards the carriages. "I know, it's weird how fast time flew" Ryan said as they came up to the carriages. "I'll see you next year" Ryan said, giving Xaie a sideways hug before the two parted. Xavier looked around for Aaron, wanting to spend as much time as possible before they parted for summer. He looked around for the special hazel eyed light brown haired Gryffindor teen.

Eventually May finished and June passed and the year finally came to a close. With that, an eventful but successful third year was over. He really felt it this year packing alone for the first time. He just tried to remember the feeling of Xavier’s hug to keep him from breaking into tears as he looked over at what used to be Jacob’s bed. It was empty and the trunk and all of his things had been taken. He wished he could write a letter to or at least meet with the Cromwell’s to check in on them. Aaron wanted to tell them how great their son was and how he advocated for an equal opportunity for people of all blood statuses in the wizarding world. Sure, sometimes his head was in the wrong place, but his heart was always in the right one. It was going to be weird not having Jacob on the ride back on the train. How he wished Xavier would be fighting with Jacob rather than Jacob being gone forever. Aaron quickly packed his things and headed on down to the castle exit. Outside there, he met Xavier. He was very glad to see that he was alone and not with a certain red haired Hufflepuff boy. Aaron quickly ran over to where Xavier was standing and pulled the boy into a side hug. “Hullo mate!” he said with a grin.

Xavier was lost in thought, remembering last years eventful train ride home. He jumped a little at the contact before he returned the side hug. "Hey Aaron" Xavier laughed, looking at the boy. "Any plans for the summer?" He asked, while they waited for a carriage to take them to the train.

“Nope, don’t think so lad,” replied Aaron. “Probably just more practicing Quidditch in that old abandoned field a few miles away from my house. Soon a carriage arrived and Aaron tugged Xavier by the arm to get him to follow him. He boarded the carriage and pulled his trunk on with him. “How about you Xaie?” he asked.

Xavier nodded, that was a good thing to do, practice always makes perfect. Xavier followed Aaron up into the carriage, hauling his trunk up with him. "I'll probably just go for walks in the forest. I like to watch the different woodland creatures" He said. "Its so peaceful out there" He added. Xavier went quiet for a moment, thinking over his words. "Maybe, you could come over for a night. We can walk in the woods and have a fire in the firepit." He suggested, his parents would be okay with it, but he wasn't sure about Aaron's parents.

“Sounds like you’ve got a little slice of paradise back at home, eh Xaie?” Aaron asked with a chuckle. His hazel eyes lit up and gleamed excitedly as Xavier mentioned him coming over for a night and spending some time with where the Hufflepuff boy lived. “I’d love that mate! Sounds fun!” Aaron said enthusiastically. The carriage eventually arrived at the platform and Aaron stepped off, grabbing his luggage and heading towards the Hogwarts Express train which was waiting for them.

Xavier nodded. "Yeah, it's pretty nice" He said. "Especially early morning when the birds are out." He added and heard the enthusiasm in the others voice. "I'm sure my parents won't mind if yours don't" He said, climbing down from the carriage and following Aaron to the train. He was really hoping that the boy's parents would say yes. They could have a sleep over in his living room and watch movies all night. Xavier had various types though horror movies tend to send him under the covers every time, but he watched them anyway. Climbing into the train, he found an open compartment and stepped inside, looking back to Aaron.

Aaron smiled excitedly at the prospect of spending a night with Xavier out in nature. “That would be bloody wicked mate,” he said softly as the two of them entered an open compartment. It was just him and Xavier. No Ryan and certainly no Jacob, but Aaron tried not to think of that.

Xavier felt that the summer had flown by. It pretty much did for him except Aaron had come over and they'd spent the two days and a night out in the woods behind Xavier's house. That had been early July, and he was ready to be headed back to Hogwarts. He missed his best friend and couldn't wait to see him again. Xavier's hair had finally grown long enough that it swooped out of the way most of the time. He still had to adjust the bangs now and then. He also had hit his height limit according to the doctor. He would forever stay at 5'6" which was an okay height for him. He had filled out, his chest had broadened and he looked more proportionate for his age and height. He had packed his trunk the night before and his parents had driven him to the station.

Like always Xavier and Aaron had found each other on the train, and it was pretty uneventful. It didn't take long for them to arrive at the school, and head into to their tables. There was an energy in the room but Xaie couldn't place why. He had separated from Aaron to sit at his table for dinner. The lad watched the sorting hat do what it does before Dumbledore approached the students as always.

Summer was amazing to say the least. Aaron’s parents had resoundingly agreed to let Aaron spend two days and one night with Xavier and his family at Xavier’s house. It was a blast. Aaron had one of the best summers of his life. They’d enjoyed a fun time in the woods and Aaron never thought he’d enjoy nature too much but with Xavier, everything was a pleasure. While he still kept Jacob Cromwell in his thoughts, he mostly tried to forget about his death and if anything, think about the happy memories with the boy. As for Aaron, he had grown his hair out a bit. While in previous years it was perfectly smooth, now the fourteen year old had some waves to his hair and kept it messier to give him a more rugged look. His mother had said it made him look more handsome, which always caused him to blush. As long as Xavier liked it than that was all that mattered to him. He’d realized more than ever over the summer that he found Xavier undeniably attractive and for once, he realized that he didn’t quite like girls. He was gay.

As for Xavier, Aaron noticed that he had grown his hair out even more. His bangs were more pronounced and to Aaron, it made the Hufflepuff boy all the more attractive. He’d grown a few more inches, a bigger growth spurt than in years past. He was fourteen now as of July and he was certainly starting to look the part. Aaron had found Xavier at Platform 9 and 3/4 and sat with the boy on the train, munching on some chocolate frogs once the trolley witch came along during the ride. They were soon dropped off at Hogwarts and as fourth years, went to the Great Hall before all of the new incoming first years for the sorting ceremony. Nothing was new about this year and the first night festivities rolled on as usual. Eventually the sorting ceremony had concluded with the last student being sorted into Ravenclaw. Aaron had to admit that it was rather lonely not sitting with Jacob Cromwell for the sorting ceremony. Aaron watched as Dumbledore took to the podium to address all of the students.

Xavier had realized during the summer, especially after spending some more time with Aaron, that he was not as into girls as other boys his age was. Xavier Collins came out as gay to his parents shortly after his 14th birthday. They had been extremely supportive and of course had teased him about Aaron. The teen knew he'd had a crush on Aaron, but he thought it was a passing notion, until he realized it wasn't. Xavier had noticed that Aaron had grown his hair out, creating a more rugged and wavy look to it that Xavier had found very attractive, and handsome. Denying his crush and attraction to his best friend was no longer plausible, but he tried his best to not make the teen uncomfortable around him. Xavier and the rest of the students quieted down as Dumbledore took to the podium.

"Students, I have the greatest pleasure to announce that Hogwarts will be hosting the Tri-Wizard Tournament. We will be hosting the two other magical schools; Durmstrang Institute and Beauxbaton Academy of Magic. They will be arriving on Halloween and more about the tournment will be revealed then." Dumbledore spoke before finishing his welcome speech and the feast commenced.

“Woah,” whispered Aaron as Dumbledore revealed to them that Hogwarts would be hosting the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Aaron didn’t know what that was but it did sound cool. He turned around with a grin to tell Jacob but then the smile wiped clean off of his face. Jacob was dead. He couldn’t tell the boy anything anymore. He tried to think of happy thoughts, and happy thoughts usually involved Xavier. He thought back to the summer they had shared. Sleeping with Xavier in his bedroom, being so close to the boy, and the feeling of butterflies inside of his stomach it gave him. By the end of the summer, Aaron knew he was gay, but he was still very much in the closet. He hadn’t come out yet. He was afraid to, even afraid to tell his parents. He knew he was developing a crush on Xavier but wished those feelings would pass. They were best friends, and that’s all they’d ever be. He didn’t want to scare Xavier away by admitting such crazy feelings. Perhaps he didn’t understand these feelings and perhaps they were temporary. That was all Aaron could hope for. Soon Dumbledore commenced the welcoming feast and Aaron dug in. Once it was over, Aaron went over to Xavier, his belly full, as all of the students got up and began making their way back to the dormitories for curfew.

Xavier had been telling Ryan all about his summer while they ate. His excitement was written all over his face. Ryan had listened mostly, he was glad that the other boy had a great summer. The red head had grown up since they first met, his hair was now short cut and he'd filled out instead of the stick he was. Xavier had finally finished his dinner and stood up, flipping his bangs out of his face when he saw Aaron coming over. A grin showed up as he closed the distance to Aaron. "Pretty cool about the tournament huh mate?" Xavier asked his best friend, looking at those beautiful hazel eyes.

“Xaie? What is the Tri-Wizard Tournament?” Aaron asked curiously and innocently, a thirst for knowledge glimmering in those stunning hazel eyes of his. Aaron just wanted to reach out and touch those adorable bangs of Xavier’s, but knew that would be way out of his place right now.

"It came about 700 years ago as a friendly competition between the three schools. It consists of a series of different tasks to test the champions in many different ways their magical prowess, their daring, their powers of deduction, and their ability to cope with danger. The tasks back then were really dangerous so they had cancelled it. I guess they're bringing it back this year." He explained. "That's all I've ever been told about it" Xavier added, pushing a hand through his hair absentmindedly. "It'll be interesting how they pick the champions" He said with a grin.

“Bloody hell….” Aaron said quietly. “Well sounds like something I sure as heck don’t want to do!” he replied. Aaron then let out a yawn. He was beginning to get tired. “Oh man, I’m getting sleepy. I think I’m going to head up to the room,” he told his friend. “Good night Xavier,” said Aaron.

It had been a little over a month since the students came to Hogwarts. On October 30th, the two other schools had arrived at Hogwarts. The student body was curious at their new arrivals, and the Goblet of Fire was introduced. Only students seventeen and up were allowed to put their name in for the competition which suited Xavier just fine. The next day, October 31st, they held a feast for their visitors in which the Goblet of Fire would spit out the champions for the tournament after they ate. Extra tables had been brought in for the two schools to eat at while they were there. Xavier had sat down at his table for the feast, curious which student from Hogwarts would be representing them as a school. The food would be first, and then they'd get into the champions.

Finally, October 30th, 1994 had arrived and it was time for the Hogwarts students to meet the students from the other wizarding schools from all around Europe. It was interesting to meet the French students from Beauxbatons. The girls were quite pretty if Aaron had to admit, but of course he much preferred Xavier over any silly female. The boys from Durmstrang were quite interesting- a bit too hairy and muscular for Aaron’s liking. Of course, attractiveness wouldn’t matter when it came to the tournament. Luckily for Aaron, only students seventeen and up could participate in the competition, making it so that only seventh years could do so. Tonight, October 31st, was the night of the feast and the night that they’d figure out who would be representing Hogwarts at the Tri-Wizard Tournament. The feast had gone by slowly and Aaron wished he could be with Xavier but of course, he had to sit with his fellow Gryffindors. Once the feast ended, it was then time to see what name the Goblet of Fire would pick out.

Xavier had met a few of the French students from Beauxbatons and while they were nice, they weren't Aaron and they were girls. The boys from Durmstrang were definitely not up his alley either. Of course he was pretty picky to begin with on what he found attractive and so far only Aaron fit that bill. He had enjoyed the feast, but he wished that he could've sat with Aaron. Some of the rules regarding houses was quite silly to the 14 year old. Eventually everyone had stuffed bellies and Dumbledore stepped out alongside the headmaster and headmistress of Durmstrang and Beauxbaton. He made the announcement that the champions would be called.

The first piece of paper flew out of the goblet and Dumbledore read Viktor Krum from Durmstrang. A few moments passed and another paper shot out, this one was for Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons. The third paper belonged to Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts and a fellow Hufflepuff. Then the goblet shot out another piece of paper and, to everyone’s surprise, Harry Potter's name was called. Cheers erupted from the students who congratulated their champions. Xavier looked over at Cedric and gave him a thumbs up. He'd spent some time with the other boy studying for exams and other classes. He was kind and loyal, a Hufflepuff through and through.

Aaron sat back and put a hand on his full belly as he awaited the results from the Goblet. The Goblet of Fire spit out the name Viktor Krum from Durmstrang, Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons, and Cedric Diggory, a Hufflepuff from Hogwarts. Aaron smiled, figuring that Xavier must’ve known him. If he was anything like Xavier or Hufflepuffs in general, then he was the perfect candidate to represent Hogwarts. But then Aaron was shocked as the Goblet spit out Harry Potter’s name. Harry Potter was a fourth year, just like him. How was it possible that Harry was able to compete and represent Hogwarts in the tournament as well? Still, he cheered for his fellow housemate and Gryffindor teammate.
