Pia would hardly comment on looks, though when the coffee wasn’t reached for, she held it out to make it clear this was for Jasleen. “This is yours,” added, before she felt the cat at her leg. She shifted, and stepped away so the cat wasn’t brushing up against her. She didn’t mind animals, but she also wasn’t the biggest fan of them.
Most of them knew better. Then again, this was a cat apparently not afraid of a werewolf, so perhaps it was just as strange as Jasleen.
“Mmm. It’s fine,” she said as Jasleen tried to apologize, and moved on, “Do you need help carrying anything?” She knew that Jasleen hadn’t arrived with much, but it had still been quite the armload, and now she had coffee to sip. She might want help.

So, Emmett wasn’t a complete idiot, he just knew a different sort of vampire. Asher arched a brow as he took a sip of his coffee, “You actually spend time around them and don’t just kill them?” or perhaps he’d done it to get close to a particular target.
It was hard to imagine the hunter actually spending time around them otherwise, let alone to learn something as trivial as vampire eating habits. “You’re right about Pia, though. She isn’t the type.”
But, he supposed it was still better to check than assume. Some people would just get upset at being left out. Pia never struck him that way, but who knew?
