Fantasy The Underground

Sliver, with her long hair tied back and her apron on, sat behind the counter of the café on the corner, working her usual shift. She had been there since way too early that morning, and man was she glad she had to take care of that horribly drunk man named Marius or else she wasn't sure she would be hangover free right now. Leaning over to set a customers tea on the counter, Silver looked back at the counter as a familiar face walked up to the counter. "Well what a surprise. Look who decided to get up all nice and early this morning." Silver teased, writing down his order. "How are you doing?" She asked him.

@Axel1313

Wait, hold up. Royal Family? Eyes widening, he took a moment to let it all sink in.

This was news to him; here was where the naivety points would come in handy right?

Shion had no reason to involve himself in the conversation between Royal Guard and Prince, and yet, he still did; lifting his hands in mild question, his shoulders coming up in a light shrug, the demon gazed up at Buras. "Sorry," he would apologize first, "but isn't there a way? Just an hour? What if they remain close to the entrance?"

There would be plenty to do within a small area, he just knew it; but it also depended on what Austere and Vytas found enjoyable.

If need be, Shion was almost ready to suggest or even offer that he himself could serve as a guard for the hour - he was rather far from weak, if one were to gauge the strengths of his abilities.

Then again, that was only, only if it had the slightest chance of counting for something.

Which it probably wouldn't.

@Axel1313 @Beowulf @Aridis

Of course another obstacle had to come in the way.

Life would be much too easy if things didn't constantly try to take away his fun. An annoyed scowl crossed his expression for a moment as the young teenager glanced back at Buras. While the whole Prince deal wasn't exactly the best kept secret at this point, he was a little peeved that the guard actually announced it. "It's not like anything bad had happened before..." Vytas grumbled. Out of all of the times that he had gone out adventuring, the worse thing that had happened was that he had "accidentally" wandered into one of the bars. And even then, all he did was get an eye full of semi-violent but extremely tipsy drunks.

Besides, that whole him "not returning to the castle" thing was mostly Buras' fault. He had to be aware of the fact that the raven wouldn't follow so easily, but had left him to pretty much do as he pleased without double checking.

@Hoki @Axel1313 @Beowulf

"Well, I was lucky. The Universe allowed me to get some decent rest." The Wraith lied. Plopping down onto one of the two hospital beds, he folded his hands behind his head. Atlas glanced over to the other for a moment, and motioned to the areas where the fairies resided on the Priest. "By the way. It looks like you made a few friends while I was away. Care to introduce me?"

@Axel1313

"Trust me Buras...I'm sure we are more than capable of taking care of ourselves up there for at least an hour. As long as we stick fairly close to the entrance too." He shifted nervously as he gaze fell to the ground. "We'll get it over with and come right back...a-and hopefully it will keep Vytas from running off so much as well. Making your life easier."

@Aridis @Beowulf @Hoki

"That's good to hear. You needed it after getting beaten up so badly yesterday." He smiled warmly, then glanced to the fairies around his head. One of which tucked itself comfortably against his ear. "As for these things? I honestly don't know...they just. Showed up. Least it's good to know you can see them too, means I'm not just hallucinating this time."

@Aridis

"Are you nervous Gareth? Having this human extract the draconite from your head?" Una asked calmly as she sat on a comfortable chair they had brought out for her in the throne room. "It is going to be quite the interesting process is it not? Especially with a human doing this."

@Beowulf

"Hmm?" Marius rubbed his eyes and glanced up. It took him a moment before realizing who it was. "Oh! Hello again...didn't expect to run in to you again." He chuckled. Leaning lazily on the counter. "I've seen better days...that's for sure. But at least my boss has the most comfortable beds and showers. Really helped with this hangover.."

@IceQueen

"Now Mr. Muffins you be a good boy while mommy opens shop on the surface okay?" said Aranha as she reached up and scratched underneath the questionable head of the large spiderlike monster sitting beside the entrance to a large webbed maze. When the behemoth made a contented gurgling noise Aranha climbed up on one of the nearby webs, jumped onto the back of her pet and patted Mr. Muffins on the head before grabbing onto another web and traversing through the web maze towards the surface entry. As four of her arms swung and climbed the other two were carefully writing down a grocery list.

-----------------------------

While Penelope waited for the coffee to be ready, she noticed out of the corner of her eye a com-link resting on the counter. Picking it up, she assumed it was from Black as Connor seemed quite unlikely to have anything other than explosives. When she turned back to the coffee, a figure that was on her blind side before was now in clear vision, well if you count a quick glance before looking away clear vision. "
Good morning Connor, would you care for some coffee?" She said emotionlessly as she put the com-link in her ear and speaking into it. "Black if you're awake, we have coffee almost done down here. Oh, have you seen the tracker tablet by the way?"

@zCrookedz @Beowulf

There was a short click and a buzz and Black heard Penelope's voice come over the com-link. As he expected, she wasn't some spring chicken and Black was packing up he cleaning gear heading for the door to the stair way as she called. He placed two fingers to the side of the com and pressed the talking button.

"Haven't seen it since last night. Think Connor had it last."

The last part of his sentence he spoke in his own words as he opened the door to the apartment and entered. He set his gun down, folded up nice and neat into its traveling mode. HE put his cleaning tools away in his pack and made his way back into the kitchen. The smell of the coffee did actually smell nice as Black leaned against the wall across from Penelope and smirked at her morning attire.

"You gonna go hunting in your jammies Mrs. Vascile?"

@rosamortelle @Beowulf

Lucas pulled the door shut to his shop and turned to the alley way that would lead out. He had taken the bottle and a few other doodads and thingamajigs just in case he needed them. He also grabbed Jimbo, who's protest was muffled by the sound of Lucas' pocket. He turned down road after road until he was on the main stretch to the castle. As he walked he continued to roll the plan around in his head over and over and over. There could be no slip ups.

Lucas approached the gates, which opened up to him immediately this time as he was expected. Lucas made his way to the castle and up to the front door where a servant was waiting to take him to the king. He followed I'm through the halls of the castle which only seemed to be a maze of hallways and doors until he finally came to the door the man opened. Lucas walked into the room, which looked like a sitting room and saw Gareth pacing the floor. Lucas smiled and removed his hat placing it on his chest and bowing to the king.

"Bonjour Seigneur Gareth. I hope the prospect of our meeting has not caused and unneeded worry."

He turned to the grand fairy in his bow as well and gave here a smile.

"Ah
Grande Fée. Always a pleasure to see you again. I was wondering if you would be attending the ritual."

@Axel1313

"I doubt the prospect of someone rooting around in their head wouldn't make anyone nervous." he said tiredly. "But, I located where my gem is. Hopefully it can be done quickly and with minimul damage to my cranium." As he spoke, he began to undress. It would be easiest to get his gen in dragon form, and he really didn't feel like ruining a set of rather nice looking clothing. And besides, why should he care if he was butt naked in front of company? He always was when he was in his dragon form, but people couldn't care less. Once he was undressed, the was a flash of light, a puff of smoke, and other transformation effects, and the next thing they saw was a large dragon curled up on the floor. "Alright," he said, voice shaking the walls, "Let's make this quick. I'm guessing the stuff tastes vial." The last part was about the sleeping agent they were going to use. It was a much smaller thing to complain about, but give him some slack.

((@zCrookedz @Axel1313))

"Yep." Connor said, only half registering the question. Coffee sounded good, he hadn't slept much any ways. He didn't really need to, some mental disorder or some such nonsense. But a quick cup of coffee just in case would never hurt. Then Black came in, and commented on Vascile's attire, causing Connor to look up from the tablet to see what he was talking about. "I'm not complaining." he said before getting back to the task of figuring out what the hell all this meant.

((@rosamortelle @zCrookedz))

"Fat chance that boy isn't going to be curious about something." he said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. The two couldn't go up there alone, so they'd need a guard. And this Katsune ((please tell me I got that right)) here couldn't be trusted to not just run off with the two. So, that left him with one option. "I will be joining you. I can be sneakier then you'd imagine." Well, Vytas might know how quite the giant could be when he wanted to be, having been caught by Buras many a time. "An hour is all we're going to stay for. And we aren't going to go more then a block away from the entrance." he continued, hefting his halberd onto his shoulder and getting ready to go.

((@Hoki @Axel1313 @Aridis ))

"No matter how many times I see it, your true form never ceases to amaze me Gareth." Una smiled softly as she stared at the massive dragon before them. "Of course you really should allow me and my fairies to make a special garb for you that will change as you do. So you do not have to strip every time you wish to transform." She giggled as she teased him. It was nothing new to her of course, when you've been alive as long as she has you've definitely had time to see it all.

@Beowulf @zCrookedz

"Buras...I know you can be stealthy, but won't you stick out like a sore thumb? I could hide you of course, but....would you even be okay with that? Being mashed into a smaller form for an hour." Austere cocked his head to the side curiously. "We can limit ourselves to a block if you wish of course, that would be no troubles...hopefully." He knew his brother well and hoped there would be no headaches induced from this as well. The least he could do is spare Buras from some of that.

@Beowulf @Aridis @Hoki

Awesome. Basically everything was going badly because of his past attempts of not being constantly kept on a leash. Which, incidentally, just now ended up with a bunch of leashes being placed on him. Sighing softly, the boy raised a hand in a very boy scout-ish matter. "I promise to not run off or do anything stupid while we're up there. No tricks, no loopholes, or anything else like that. I'll be a good, obedient child for once in my life."

Okay. So Vytas might've been getting a bit impatient at this point. He was starting to get sick of all of the obstacles, and was willing to make almost any promise if it meant that he could get up there faster. Hell, he didn't even care if Buras tagged along. As long as the whole thing went smoothly, and he got to see at least a little bit of what the world outside of the Underground was like, he was completely fine.

@Hoki @Axel1313 @Beowulf

Humming a single, continuous note under his breath, the raven stared at the fairies. Just for the hell of it, he rubbed his eyes, and glanced back at them with a slightly curious expression; as if making sure that they actually weren't a figment of his imagination. "Nah. Pretty sure that they're real, and we're not sharing some kind of painkiller, magical mini-dragon induced drug dream." Atlas propped himself up a bit, and tilted his head to the side a bit. "Still a bit strange, though. How they decided to hang out around you for... No reason? At all? Like, even if that Black guy was right about you being an itty bit part vampire, fairies wouldn't just randomly do that. I think..."

@Axel1313

"Aaaah, I think this has actually happened before. But I only thought it was sleep deprived or alcohol induced hallucinations." He frowned. Scratching the side of his head. "I think they keep trying to tell me something or ask me something too? But I can't tell...they just act like they know me.." He closed his eyes again and leaned back. It was really odd that they would do this... "Well at least I can rule out being crazy or imaginary friends from when I was small now."

@Aridis

"Eh? Really?" Well that was definitely weird. The fact that the fairies might be trying to talk to him. Not necessarily the rest of it; seeing as though it kind of made sense.

Despite him being extremely comfortable on the thin, lumpy mattress that made up the hospital bed, Atlas forced himself to climb to his feet. Wandering closer to the other, he stared down at the smaller fae with curiosity. He tried to think of a reason for such behavior. If it was just a random whim of theirs to suddenly annoy Sisceal, then that might make a bit of sense. However, if it had happened before, like the elder had claimed, then there might be an actual reason behind it.

Atlas didn't know much beyond his own domain of magic. Which was a bit ironic, considering how nosey he was about pretty much everything; including details that had to do with the Order. However, fairies were kind of on the opposite end when it came to the supernatural. He was a being of the shadows, and most of them were beings of the light. There were dark fairies, of course, but its best not to stray that far into the topic at the moment. "Hm... Maybe you picked up some kind of magical article when you were younger?" The Wraith guessed. "Oooor, a fairy cast some kind of spell on you? Like a blessing or something?"

And, as a random thought came to mind, he grinned goofily. It wasn't that probable of an answer. In fact, it was most likely as far from the truth as one could get. Still, there was always a chance that it was true. And, if it was, then it would be the most amusing thing that he had seen all day.

"Or maybe you're one of us~."

@Axel1313

"My dear, if I asked you to make one, I'd have to ask you to make a lot more. It will look marvelous, I'm sure, but I doubt being seen in the same clothes daily is the most appealing thing to the people." Gareth rumbled, careful to keep his voice low so their ears didn't get damaged. Of course, when he was out, he would have no control on the volume, and he was a notorious snorer. Hope the Doctor brought ear protection.

((@zCrookedz @Axel1313 ))

The low rumble of the kings voice was quite loud, even if he was trying to not destroy their hearing. None the less Lucas continued on with the preparations as he reached into his bag and began removing several items. First of all he retreaved the shrunken head of Jimbo which he set on the table facing towards the others. The shrunken head made a yawning motion with his jaw and then looked over to the other two with a half cocked grin.

"Ey der king drake! Good ta see ya on da scally side. Lucas an me, we gonna tak goood care of ya."

Lucas scoffed at the head. He wasn't going to be doing anything unless things went south, which Lucas was not planning on it going south.

The next thing Lucas pulled out was a small black box which he set beside Jimbo and slowly opened the lid. Inside were two bottles. One was a bright blue liquid that seemed to almost sparkle with starlight as Lucas held it out. The other was dark and black, which Lucas left in the small black box as he turned around and walked over to the king.

"Now then Seigneur Gareth, this bottle of liqour I made last night for you is highly concentrated for your size. I must admit, it would kill anyone but a dragon. It will put you into a deep sleep so that we will not disturb you while we extract the Draconite."

Lucas turned back to the table and switched the bottle and now held up the black one.

"This one, will allow me to reach inside you head and extract the gem without harming you. It is an old recipe, but one that has been used for a very long time. It will let my hands slip through your body and only let me touch the Dragonite, so I do not damage anything else while I extract it."

Lucas slipped the black bottle into his coat pocket, and reached for the blue bottle once more. He then walked over to Gareth with the bottle sitting in his open hand for the king to take.

"Whenever you are ready, Seigneur Gareth"

@Beowulf @Axel1313

"We should come to an agreement soon...I would greatly prefer we explore their world before the sun completely rises. It is not often that many humans are awake right at dawn and many of the more dangerous ones are beginning to hide away." Austere shifted uncomfortably as he glanced towards the gates not too far away.

@Beowulf @Aridis @Hoki

The fairies giggled and cautiously leaned towards Atlas curiously.

"I don't know...I honestly can't remember much from when I was small, only my teen years in the church really." He scratched the back of his head. Raising his eyes at Atlas in an unamused expression at his last remark. "Well maybe a bit after last night, but that wouldn't explain the fairies." He chuckled, then his tone turned more joking. "Maybe I picked something up from the forests back in my home country, there are loads of legends there."

@Aridis

"You know I would put an enchantment on it to change appearance every day Gareth dear." She laughed softly. Watching ever so curiously as the human worked as she enjoyed her tea and small snacks the servants brought to her. "What are your plans after this procedure dear? Sleeping the rest of the day or politics as usual?"

@Beowulf @zCrookedz

"I'd still have to have it cleaned, dear." he said as he took the bottle of concentrated sleeping agent. "And it shall be business as usual, after I oversee this ritual and get my thoughts about me. I really dislike having to talk politely when only half awake." And with that, he downed the bottle's contents. He could feel it immediately, and his eye lids began to droop and his head sag, getting ever closer to the ground. "Make this quick, Lafluer." he said right before his head hit the ground. And like that, he was out and in a deep slumber.

((@zCrookedz @Axel1313))

"Nonsense. My cousin once hid in the human world for three full days. If she could do it, I'll be damned if I can't." And with that, he began to lead the way towards the exit, and somehow managing to keep an eye on Vytas. How he was able to do that is impossible to fully understand, maybe giants have a couple sets of eyes on the back of their head. But then his helmet would be in the way.... You know what, let's just call it magic and leave it at that.

((@Aridis @Axel1313 @Hoki))

"What does this mean?" Connor asked, pointing to a symbol on the tablet. He had sat there trying to work it out long enough. Time to just give it to someone else, and let them figure it out. He just wanted to try out one of his new toys. It was special made and everything. The guy said it could stop a giant and then kill a werewolf. Hope it could, else he had to pay a visit to 'The Big Bang' and demand a refund.

((@zCrookedz @rosamortelle))

"Haha very funny black," Penelope said as she poured the freshly brewed coffee into three mugs. She also pulled out some creamers and sugar, Penelope normally drank her coffee as is but she knew not everyone shares her preference. Placing the items on a tray she carried it over and set it on the table in front of Connor. Extending her hand to him she spoke again. "Let me take a look at it."

@Beowulf @zCrookedz

He felt horribly out of place.

The Raijuu awkwardly followed at the very back of the pack, hands burying themselves in his jean pockets as he did. Maybe... Maybe when they got to the surface, he would branch off and spend well over an hour outside of the city gates; Shion had no reason to stick around, nor did he have any reason to obey the "one hour rule". Plus, now that Vytas was with people that were probably better for him to be around, there was no real obligation for the redhead to stay.

"I wish it wasn't so late.." he found himself half-hearted complaining to himself, "There's only so much to do at this time.."

@Axel1313 @Beowulf @Aridis

"There's always next time!" Vytas pressed. Well, for him, next time might not be for another year or so; and at the very least a couple of months. Still, he didn't want this to be the first and only time that he got to explore. In fact, there had to be sometime in his life where he could stop being guarded 24/7. Unfortunately, that opportunity might not come until he was much older. But, still, the boy could dream.

Growing ever more impatient by the second, he darted a couple of steps ahead of Buras and toward the exit. Coming to a temporary stop a small distance away from the group, he motioned for the two slackers to follow. "For now... Hurry up! Big Bro is right, we've gotta get this over with!" 'Get it over with' for half of the group, and 'hurry the flip up so that they can have fun' for the other.

@Hoki @Axel1313 @Beowulf

"Well, that helps a lot with the investigation. Thanks a bunch, Watson." It actually wasn't that uncommon. Even Atlas had a bit of a hard time remembering what had gone down when he was younger. There were a few major events, but it wasn't like he immediately remembered every day of his life. Plus there was always the chance that Sisceal had been in an accident or something when he was little. Or, if his whole "spell" theory was the correct one, it was possible that whatever fairy had done the deed had wiped his memory.

God freaking... There were too many variables.

Which honestly only made things all the more interesting.

After wasting a good couple of braincells on trying to figure out an answer, Atlas decided to go the easier route. Despite the whole thrill of trying to play detective, he did prefer getting answers quickly; even if it took the fun away from things a bit. Shoving his hands into the pockets of his jacket, the Wraith smiled down at the fairies. "What about you guys, huh? Wanna pitch in a hint or two?"

@Axel1313

Austere let out a heavy sigh, his lips creased on his smooth face. "Okay okay...if you insist." He took in a deep breath and looked at Buras. Motioning for him to lead the way and to his brother's friend to join them as well. He was weary of him, but he couldn't deny his brother friends. "Let's just get this over with okay? I...I want to get back home soon. I have duties to attend to and my fiance will be wanting to plan time to spend while she's in town..."

@Aridis @Beowulf @Hoki

"Hey, I tried to think of something. I wish I could remember, but I've had too many other things beat into my head." He chuckled. It was sort of a joke, he had gone through some rigorous teaching in the past years. Of course that seemed to be failing now seeing his current situation.

The fairies looked up at the wraith with sharp toothed grins. "Oh silly shadow walker. The great lady of the forest sent us to find the adopted son." The giggled, peeping out from Sisceal's hair. Hoping that the wraith would be able to hear or understand him.

"wait? Didn't she say the father Father?" Another chimed in with laugh like bells.

"She told us, the one we used to play with years ago....but how can it be this guy? He's so old!" Laughter erupted from the little creatures and they buzzed around his head in a flurry before coming to a rest around his face again.

@Aridis

Lucas watched as the draft did its job and the king succumbed to his dreams in a matter of moments. Lucas smiled, proud that his concoction did exactly as he said and Lucas turned back to the table with his back and reached in. He pulled a small glass bowl out and motioned for one of the servants outside to bring a small end table closer. After they set it down, Lucas motioned for them to leave and they locked the door behind them.

Lucas placed the bowl on the table and then produced a pitcher of silvery liquid which he poured into the bowl as well. Once he finished he sighed and looked over to Jimbo, the little head giving him a nod. He looked back to the Grand Fairy and smiled.

"We are ready. It may be a tiny bit disturbing madame', should you need to avert your eyes."

Lucas lifted the bottle of black liquid up and poured its contents into his hand. Cuping the liquid, Lucas set the bottle down and then began to spread it over bother his arms. His arms, covered in the black liquid now began to glow a bit with the power of the liquid. Lucas stepped up to the kings gigantic head and without hesitation plunged his arms into his skull. The sensation was odd, the inside of the kings head actually felt cold against Lucas' arms.

The magic was working and he simply glided towards where the kings stone should be until his hand brushed against the only solid thing he had been able to feel so far. It was smaller than he had imagined, but Lucas grabbed hold and he slowly lifted his arms from the scaly forehead of the king. The kings skin and bones seemed to simply not even register that there was a foreign entity as Lucas lifted his hands from the Kings head and looked at the stone in his hands.

It was absolutely the most alluring thing he had ever seen. A stone that seemed to encompass the colors and sheen of every precious gemstone that Lucas had ever seen. No bigger than a gold coin, Lucas was shocked that such a small object could come from a creature of such magnitude.

Lucas quickly moved away from the king with the stone and placed the stone in the bowl of silver liquid. The liquid shimmered around the stone as he placed it in and seemed to hoover in the liquid without touching the bottom. Once again Lucas looked from Jimbo to the queen and then back to the stone, his eyes fixated on the bowl.

"Mots ne peuvent pas décrire.....The king should wake within an hour or so. I will stay to make sure he awakens properly."

As much as Lucas wanted to spirit the stone away as soon as he could, it would be rude beyond compare to simply take the stone away from its owner and leave him lying on the floor. Lucas was now in debt to the king beyond anything he could imagine, and he wanted to make sure the king was alright.

@Beowulf @Axel1313

Black cracked a small smile at Vascile as she brought the coffee around. He grabbed a cup and down on the couch sipping the scalding liquid. One thing he had to get used to in the army was black coffee, the hot part was a bonus.

As he leaned back watching Connor mess with the tablet, and then Vascile take it from him, he couldn't help but feel anxious.

"We need to get moving, there's no telling how far that Wraith and the preacher got. The Wraith will have to seek out medical attention. We should check the medical facilities."

@rosamortelle

Una smiled and leaned back in her chair as calm as can be. "I will be fine human. I have seen things more disturbing than this." She found the procedure so very interesting. It had been so long since she got to witness a magic user such as this one. One who knew what they were doing and were skilled as can be. It was quite refreshing to say the least. Seeing as anymore the humans were losing such gifts.

@zCrookedz @Beowulf

Gareth woke up rather quickly, actually. His body sensed that something was... missing, and so it demanded him do investigate. And no sooner had the draconite gem been dropped into the bowl did his eyes slowly open. "I hope you either finished it already or have more of that tonic." he slurred out, still drowsy. Raising his head a bit more, he sees the contents of the bowl, and it seemed to call to him. Immediately, he knew that it was his gem. "Ah, it would appear to be the former." Now he could see why some dragons chose to remove their gems. It would make the crown jewel, literally, of any treasure hoard. But it was much smaller then what he expected. He thought it would be the size of a dinner plate, at the least a fist.

((@zCrookedz @Axel1313))

"You're right. She arrived yesterday, didn't she?" Buras asked Austere, completely tuning out the younger of the two princes. They would make it there in time, he had nothing to worry about. And if worse came to worse they wouldn't go. Well, worse for Vytas, it'd be a sigh of relief from him.

((@Hoki @Axel1313 @Aridis))

Connor gratefully handed the tablet over, glad to be rid of the confusion. "But if the Wraith can go through shadows, couldn't he just go to the place where all the fae are hiding with the other one? I doubt there'd be a human doctor willing to work on someone with busted up knees without asking questions or wanting a lot of money." Then a rare moment of genius struck the super gun nut, "Why not just check the registries for all the hospitals in here? If they did treat someone for holey knee caps it would be there."

"It's true that the Wraith can go through shadows but you have to remember that his partner was human. We can travel by shadow with the aid of a wraith, but traveling lacks oxygen so humans who have survived a shadow pull only came back with little oxygen left in their system even asfter short time periods." Penelope said as her started to look over the tablet, and tapped onto the glowing dot and waited for the map to zoom in on the tracker's location. "Since the human was also injured, it is safe to assume that even an extremely short jump between shadows would cause severe damage if not killing them on spot. So, the pair have to still be above ground. However right Faes help Faes and if there is anything the order knows is that there are who Faes live above ground as supports to other Faes. So they had to have gone to a hospital farther out from the downtown area of the city, someplace a hospital would be reasonable and close to a possible entrance way."

@Beowulf @zCrookedz

Black sipped at the coffee as he listened to the other two talk. Connor had a pretty good idea, and it would have been a reasonable first place to start looking. But the tricky part was the Wraith. As Vascile said next, the wraith could travel but the human would not be able too, not for very long though. Then their was the matter of the Wraith being the one injured which made Black look up from his coffee at the others.

"The Wraith is the key here. He was injured, any place they would have gone to would have needed to be equipped to handle Fae injuries. Probably not a hospital as it would draw attention and there would be paper work. Combine that with the short distance, I would bet anything they are still in the city getting help from a local Fae medical facility. Do we have any on record that would be close by?"

@Beowulf @rosamortelle

Lucas bowed to the king as he stirred from his rest. He had not planned on the tonic wearing off so quickly, but it was a good note to take down for if he ever had to remove a stone again. HE looked over at the bowl and gestured so he could explain.

"Unicorn blood my lord. It will keep your stone intact and alive while it is being used. Fear not, the blood was taken from a friend of mine."

He reached into his pack once more and retrieved a jar with a seal on the top of it. HE dipped the jar into the bowl and carefully scooped up the unicorn blood and the stone which then began to hoover int he middle of the jar. He sealed the lid with a pop and held it up for the king to see one last time before he slipped it into his bag. Turning back tot he king and the Grand Fairy he bowed hsi head once more.

"This has been a complete success Seigneur Gareth. The process of forging the amulet is being taken care of by a dwarf in the city. After that I will only take a small amount of time before the defense will be ready."

@Axel1313

Despite the fairies being basically polar opposites from him, their language wasn't that different. Sure, it took him a minute to figure it out, but not nearly long as it would to decipher one of something like a dragon's. Frowning, the teenager glanced down at them with an expression that was a mix of confusion and concern. If one were to sum up the barrage of thoughts that was going on in his head at that moment, it would be "What the hell?"

Glancing back and forth between the fairies and Sisceal, Atlas tried to wrap his head around what was happening. He pointed a finger in the man's direction, "Him?" Great Lady of the Forest? Adopted son? It made sense, which was what concerned him the most. This poor guy had been dragged into such a weird world just today. Or, so they thought. If Sisceal was actually the one that the fairies were talking about, then he might've been a part of it a lot longer.
