Fantasy The Underground

What else should he ask... No, a better question would be 'what should he ask next?' The possibilities were endless; and he wanted to know about all of it. But, instead of just plain pestering Shion with a never ending bombardment of questions, he decided to go for a much simpler one. "Can you take me out there?!"

@Hoki

Biting his cheek, Altas fought to stay silent with every little moment. On the bright side, it would all be gone soon. Or, at least diminished to a point where he could move around without any problems.

~

Locking the door after he got the needed equipment, Daniel made his way over to the duo. First, he checked out Sisceal's injuries; seeing as though it was the most life threatening. On the bright side, the bullet had passed all the way through; so he wouldn't need to pick anything out of the wound. "Hey, Atlas." The doctor spoke up, glancing back at the Wraith. "Will he....?"

"Nope.... Go crazy...."

"Alright... Good. Sera, come on out." A little scaled creature, barely the size of his hand, poked her head out of the top of his shirt. Blinking a few times, she stared at the priest a moment before glancing up at Daniel. After a moment of silence, and a small nod from the male, she crawled all the way out. Hopping onto Sisceal's bed, she hooked her talons into his shirt, and pulled herself up to his wounded shoulder.

@Axel1313

Well, that wasn't on his list of expected questions. Not at all.

What?!

"Take you..?" he repeated slowly, as if trying to understand, "Out... Out of here?" He could already hear a whole storm of angry relatives from the kid's family coming after him. In no way was he a bad guy - you could tell from his face! It's not like he was some creepy pedophile with two stickers on his face or high heels or pink hair or really creepy eyes--

There was a point to this.

Shion rubbed the back of his neck with his still free hand. "I don't know, Vytas," he eventually replied, "Shouldn't that be something you do with your parents if at all?"

@Aridis

His smile dropped in an instant. Allowing his gaze to fall to the ground, he pouted a bit. It wasn't like anyone else was actually going to allow him to go outside anyways. Hell, he got in trouble just for wandering outside of the castle grounds. Who knew what kind of punishment lay ahead if he went outside of the Underground. "They're always too busy..." He claimed.

Glancing back up at the other, Vytas stared up at him with wide, pleading puppy eyes. "Please? Just for a moment? We don't even have to go anywhere! I just wanna get a little peek...."

(I swear to god, dude.)

@Hoki

There was silence for a while - perhaps an eternity to the raven - but eventually, Shion sighed, shoulder slouching in visible defeat. "No one's going to kill me, right?" he asked Vytas, brows furrowing seriously, "I don't exist to be an outlaw; I already had one situation where I was put to blame!" Realizing what he had said, the male shook his head, bangs swaying in front of his face. "Ugh.. Never mind."

He looked at the smaller boy again, frowning as he asked again; "I'm not going to end up in a heap of trouble, am I?"

(You're so bloody welcome)

@Aridis

Lucas crossed his arms over his chest as the giant seemed to be more and more frazzled.

"Now now, Monsieur Géant . Lets not forget who it was that helped you not to long ago with your princess situation."

Lucas sighed, he could sense a little more clearly who it was that had made it to the castle not long before. It was definitely a more natural form a power, and it most certainly had the essence of fairy magic to it.Lucas sighed as he uncrossed his arms and leaned against his staff.

"The Grand Fairy eh? This will be interesting." Lucas tipped his hat a bit towards Buras and smiled. "Sorry about this Buras."

Lucas raised his cane ever so slightly and tapped it on the ground twice. Suddenly a thick black smoke began to grow around Lucas from the feet up. It swirled around and around until it covered his body completely. It only lasted a moment, as the smoke began to evaporate and Lucas was no where to be seen.

Now anyone who had half a mind new that the castle would be protected from entrance by anything than normal means. However, like most magic Lucas had come across, there where always loop wholes. While it looked like Lucas just disappeared into nothingness, In actuality he had used his magic to turn himself into a flee. A tiny, little flee. With his mighty flee legs, he was able to leap from the ground, to Buras's arm. He then jumped once more onto a sparrow who had been sitting on the gate. The bird, almost instinctively flew off towards the castle, where Lucas was able to 'persuade' the bird to land on a window seal near the throne room. Once there, Lucas left the bird and entered the castle through said window.

Once inside, Lucas dropped to the floor as the cloud of smoke once again grew around the flee and Lucas steeped onto the floor of the throne room. He dusted himself off a tad and straightened his hat.

"Je déteste transformer en fuit. Now then, where oh where is our most hospitable king."

He could feel the magical presence of both the king and The Grand Fairy, both of which would have sent any normal person cowering. But Lucas had business to discuss, and he was never afraid to talk business.

"Oh no you.... Don't?" Buras had prepared for something more physical, raising his free hand to protect against any blow that would come his way. He did not expect, however, the tall, bony man to transform into a rather small flee. No, he thought he was invisible and trying to find a way past the warded gates. "Fat lot o' good that did ya. Now, I'll be here when you decide to show yourself." he said unknowingly to thin air.

"Don't worry boy, the wolf leader of Russia changes so often that I don't know them most of the time either." This constant changing wasn't because of infighting, no he just aged that slowly and visited that rarely. "But you make it seem like something to be embarassed about. One if my favorite rules my father told me about being a king was "If you don't know it, pretend like you do. Odds are they'll believe you." So far he's told me the truth." With that hopefully settling his son down and easing his frustration/embarassment, he continues with the topic at hand. "I can personally talk to the leaders of the Eastern World, set them straight, and then go see the Russian's while I'm over there. The merfolk always liked you better then me if I remember rightly. And besides, it's far to cold down there and far to dim." With the powerful magic aura of the Greater Fairy seated across from him, he didn't notice the addition of the much smaller, a flea sized one if you will, magical aura of the witch doctor, though it was darker in some ways.

(@zCrookedz @Axel1313)

Sisceal sighed and relaxed back, not even flinching as the little creature crawled up his arm. This was the least strange thing he'd seen all day and actually helping him and his friend out. So it was more welcome than anything.

"How long are we going to be here?" He turned to ask Alex. With those crazies out there he didn't want them staying around here for too long.

@Aridis

"Of course you do have to learn to speak and negotiate one day. It is simply how things work." She spoke to him sweetly, knowing that he was so very timid. Hopefully his father would be able to coax him out of it some day...their world did not take soft spokeness like it used to. "Do not worry though, unless there is a major conflict the leaders tend to keep to themselves." She laughed softly and pat his head.

"Y...yes. Of course mam..." His attention turned from them to the direction of the throne room. There was a darker magical presence approaching. It didn't feel threatening though. Thank goodness. "Father...I think we have another guest."

@Beowulf @zCrookedz

Lucas strode across the throne room looking around ever so casually. He had been here a few times before, never alone like this. Mostly big events and balls that he had been invited to, but that didn't happen very often. Now that it was quite he could actually feel the castle and those inside a bit more evenly.

He stopped in the middle of the room and turned towards the throne. Slowly Lucas walked towards the throne, admiring the unspoken power that comes from one who sits atop it. Lucas did not covet such a position, no in a way he feared and respected it. The power to move the people in whatever direction one saw fit, without hardly lifting a finger. In many ways, it was more powerful than some of the strongest magics he had ever seen. That is why he held it with respect, but also kept it at a distance.

As he approached the throne Lucas could feel the magical auras of the king and what ever high up fairy was behind the wall. However he did not know how they were back there. He stood before the throne, both hands on his cane. He lifted it again ever so slightly and tapped on the floor once,creating a very small puff of black smoke. He watched as the little puff of smoke drifted over the throne and the wall behind it. As it went over to the side, Lucas noticed that at one point the puff of smoke seemed to get tussled ever slow slightly by an air flow. As the little puff of smoke dissipated, Lucas walked up to the section of wall that he assumed was the entrance and gave it a soft tap with his cane.

"Bonjor mon seigneur, is anyone home?"

@Axel1313 @Beowulf

Almost as soon as the warning left his son's mouth, there came a knock on the door. "I wonder who that could be?" he asked himself as he got up to open the door. Opening the door enough to fit his head through, which was a large amount, he looks around for only a moment before finding the witch doctor. "Speak of the devil." he muttered to himself. An odd human saying, he's met plenty of devils before, and they usually don't respond to quickly when you say their name. Opening the door further, he gestures to the audience behind him. "This is the human I told you about, the one that can do magic. I'm guessing you snuck past Buras. A mouse?" The question was a remark to the loop hole, a while stab at what he had turned into to get through. 'I'll need so have thise holes closed.' he thought to himself, thinking of his and his families safety.

(@zCrookedz @Axel1313)

Lucas tipped his hat to the man who stuck his head out of the door. He always found the the kings human form a bit more comedic than intimidating. He had always heard that his dragon form was something to be feared but Lucas had not had the privilege to see that yet.

As the little chimes dingles from his antlers, Lucas smile widened.

"A flea my lord, mice are to easily picked off as prey. The loop holes come in handy for those who know about them, but I can patch those up for you after tonight if you would like."

As Lucas lifted his hat from his head and ran his fingers through his long black hair to push them out of his line of sight, he caught sight of those who were enjoying the company of the king. He had been correct about the fairy, she was as grand as they came. But the boy inside had been masked from him up till now. Possibly by his fathers presense, or something outside, Lucas wasn't sure. Either way, he smiled and bowed to the Grand Fairy inside.

"Lucas Lafluer, Matrone de la Fée. I run a little shop down in the city, and as the king says, one of the few humans who can work magic. Which is why I come to you tonight my lord. I have a proposition I would like to speak with you about."

@Beowulf @Axel1313

He had to bite back the pain, once again, as Daniel started poking and prodding at various injuries; trying to figure out how bad each wound was. “Not long… I think.” He confessed. “Just long enough to get fixed up and then we’re— SHIT!”

Altas buried his mouth into his sleeve; digging his teeth into the fabric as the doctor moved one of the bones in his hand back into its proper place. He had no real right to complain. His injuries were his own fault. However, that didn’t exactly mean that it didn’t hurt any less. On the bright side, it wouldn’t take that much longer; as long as he held still long enough.

~

A little voice would pop up at the back of Sisceal’s head; quiet and obviously female. ‘Sir, hold still a moment, okay?’ It didn’t look like he would squirm around; but Sera had gotten in the habit of instructing her patients as such, anyways. The little dragon placed her head close to Sisceal’s wound, and blew on it. A burst of warm air hit the bloodied area. However, just like magic -which it was- the bullet wound would begin to close up. The process was slow, but the progress was indeed visible.

“I’d honestly prefer it if you two stayed overnight.” Daniel muttered. And as, he said so, he shifted another one of Atlas’ fingers back in place, and earning a pitiful little whimper from the teen.

@Axel1313

His gaze shifted away from Shion’s face for a moment as the boy fell into deep thought. Vytas doubted that the other would get killed by taking him out of the Underground; but there definitely would be consequences. Although, if anything, they would be more heavy on the Princes’ end. After all, Shion was new here, and didn’t know exactly who every figure of power was; he might end up with maybe a long lecture and possibly a day or two in a cell. But, there probably wouldn’t be any serious trouble.

Still, Vytas didn’t want to lie straight to his face. Although the kid was a bit manipulative, he wasn’t the best liar in the world. “Only if we get caught.” He smiled. “And, even if we do, I’ll just say that it was all my fault.”

@Hoki

As soon as Lucas entered the room Austere tensed up. Even though he knew he was considered an ally the boy could not help but be wracked with fear. "I...I'm going to take a walk." He spouted out quickly.The little trinkets and ornaments on his robes jingling as he stood. "It was a pleasure meeting you your highness." He bowed politely to Una before disappearing as fast as he could. He just needed a little fresh air. That's all.

"Poor lad.." She clicked her tongue and sighed. Then turned her attention to the human. "It is a pleasure Monsieur Lafluer. As the King has just mentioned, you were the magic user he spoke of not long ago. I have not seen one of you in quite some time now and I must say. Things have certainly changed. Although your kind has not gotten any less sly and sneaky have you?"

@zCrookedz @Beowulf

"Okay. I'll try." He spoke kindly to the small creature. Relaxing as much as he could while it worked on his shoulder. His face was scrunched up a bit as it burned though... "We can stay overnight I supposed..it definitely wouldn't hurt." He groaned. "It would be better off in the long run too...oh...and how much would we owe you for this doctor? You helped us last minute...so I feel the need to thank you somehow.."

Come on, kid, give him some mental credit; he wasn't that new, he just wasn't well informed. "You'd be my responsibility then, huh?" Hoping to at least mildly amuse the other, his free hand lifted like a karate chop, his expression matching that of a goofy martial arts MASTER. "Good thing I can fight, yeah?"

--Eh, more or less. He had less cool than that and he knew it.

Shion smiled rather sheepishly at Vytas. "Then, I guess so? Your parents hopefully aren't gonna put a bounty on me; 'Stranger steals kid to the surface'," he stated like a newspaper article. Even so, while the redhead wanted to give the kid the satisfaction of seeing how the other world just beyond their own lived, his defenses had long since shot up.

How could they not?

"You can thank me by not receiving these injuries a second time." The blonde sighed. "And, seeing as though close to none of the hospital's equipment will have to be used for you two; I won't charge anything." And onto the knee; probably the worst wound of them all. Even with Sera's help, there was a high possibility that Atlas would be a little lame for the rest of his life.

"Finished." The dragon said softly. The wound had closed up completely; and not even a scar had been left behind. "Excuse me, sir." Hopping down from Sisceal's shoulder, and onto his lap, Sera took flight for a moment. It was a short distance overall; but it was still a bit necessary for her to use her tiny wings in order to get from one bed to the other. Getting the message that the Wraith's hand was more or less good to go, she began to perform the same procedure as she had on the Priest.

So far, so good...ish. Well, he was still sane, which was a good thing. His expression a bit scrunched up from the continuous "ow" moments, Altas glanced back at his recently acquired friend. "But... What about those Order guys?" He questioned. "I mean... You could probably stay and be alright. But, if they found me, the entire building could be in danger."

@Axel1313

Laughing, the raven nodded softly at the whole "good thing I can fight" act. It was amusing, shut up. But, when Vytas heard the news that he would finally be able to see the outside world, he went berserk. The kid became frantic, and started jumping in the air and performing little random happy dances. "YES, YES, YES, YES!" He cheered. "Finally! Thank you, Mr. Shion!" He remembered his manners.... And was kind of trying to butter up the other a bit to ensure that he would be taken outside. Whoops?

@Hoki

Aw man he was going to get in trouble, wasn't he? Shion returned the smile, even if just a little bit; it was nice seeing the kid so pumped up. "You'll have to stay by me, though," he reminded him, "and not act so...tourist-like, okay? People will get suspicious of you."

Another thing; Vytas didn't expect them to leave right this second, did he? Did he?

@Aridis

Lucas eyes followed the young prince as he exited the room. Very seldom had he had encounters with Prince Austere, people always said he was a bit of recluse. Watching him leave the group Lucas could agree with them.

His attention was brought back to the others before him as the Grand Fairy before him spoke. Her words were smooth and warm like sin beams, and Lucas could feel her energy even from across the room. He worked his devilish smile as he strode through the entrance to the secret room, his cane and boots clicking as he did.

"Of course not Madame. The good, for you, is that I can put that sly and sneaky demeanor to use for all of The Underground."

Lucas found a high back chair not to far away from the pair and placed his hat atop the chairs back and lowered himself into the seat. He sat straight as a board and with a leg folded over the other, his hand rested out to the side twirling his cane.

"It is most fortuitous that you are present in The Underground tonight Madame. As I said before, I have a proposition for the king and another voice of reason is always welcome."

@Axel1313 @Beowulf

As soon as Lucas took a seat, Gareth gave up at trying to get rid of him. No, at that point it would be like trying to get rid of a stubborn tic. So, instead, he took a seat himself, right across from the witch doctor and watching for anything the human might be doing, such as casting less then savory spells. "Alright, you have my attention. Now what is it you want? A bigger shop? A brief relief for some loan that needs paying?" He really didn't have any patience for this human, any to be honest but at the moment it was just Lucas.

(@zCrookedz @Axel1313)

"Thank you kindly miss." He smiled sweetly at the little dragon as she left him to go work on Atlas. "You do have a point. It may be safer for you to head back to that odd place you come from and leave me here. We would be much harder to find if we split up and you'd be safer there...they couldn't follow you there though right? That is definitely a concern."

@Aridis

Austere fled the throne room and walked down the hall until he ran into Buras. A friendly and quite large sight was comforting to him. "Ah! Buras. M...my father has some important business with some people..as you probably know already..." He muttered, twiddling his fingers. "A...anyway. Nevermind that. Have you seen my brother?"

@Beowulf

"Even the sliest of rats gets trapped eventually though." She warned him softly. She was not terribly pleased by his sudden intrusion, but it was fairly entertaining to see how he irritated Gareth. "Anyway, please do tell us of this proposal of yours. I am curious to hear it and it could not hurt now could it Garry?" She smirked slightly as she used his old old nickname.

@Beowulf @zCrookedz

"I... I don't know." The teenager admitted. He flinched a bit as Daniel began wrapping up his knee, but didn't make any further sounds about the matter. Besides, the multiple wounds were slowly starting to fade away; thanks to a special little dragon. "I mean, they can definitely get in. Their biggest problem will be finding an entrance... Almost all of them only appear at certain times. So...yeah. Following could definitely be a thing if I'm not careful." That was one of the last things that Atlas wanted to do: Be the cause of the Underground's demise.

@Axel1313

Right. People could get suspicious.

Almost immediately calming down, the boy stuck a rather serious expression over his previously excited one. He could've easily turned this into some goofy game, and could've ignored Shion's warning. However, the Prince really wanted to go outside. And, if that meant listening to random people and doing what they say, then so be it.

@Hoki

"Dead? What do you mean dead?" Penelope paced around the meeting table. "That old bag hasn't been out of his office for years, so tell how he could of died." The agent on the other end responded immediately. "Agent Ronaldson when on a survey mission when given information about a possible entrance. Arriving on sight Ronaldson was assumed to be attacked and killed by some sort of clawed ceiling creature as his body was found cover in deep lacerations and hanging in a mysterious white roping from the ceiling. Now before we can investigate further, we need to assign the next leader. After a vote the rest of the high officers agreed that you will be the new head in charge."

The news hit Penelope hard in the back. That or it was the shock wave of pressure from the loud explosion coming from her other apartment. Immediately standing up Penelope almost tripped over her seat running back to the room's entrance. "Agent Penelope is everything alright," the other line end asked. She responded, "Yes everything is fine, my current team and I are on a lead to an underground entrance. I'm going to check on them now, but before I go I accept the offer as leader." The agent on the other end paused before speaking "alright then m'am good luck with your case. Once you are able though report to HQ so we can settle some issues."

"Of course," she said before hanging up. Exiting her private room and making it back to the living room, Penelope was angered to see two defeat worn agents and zero captives. One eye glaring at both of them Penelope crossed her arms but her expression showed nothing. "Would someone like to tell me what happened here?"

@zCrookedz @Beowulf

"So..." Shion tilted his head, the soft red locks bouncing lightly in his eyes. "Shouldn't you go home?"

Vytas honest to god didn't think that they were going to leave right now, did he? It was whatever-o'clock and his parents had to worried about him. Right? He scratched his cheek, looking at the kid with a raised eyebrow and wondering eyes.

@Aridis

Lucas smiled at the king, trying to put on his most appreciative face that he could.

"come now my lord, surely you don't think of me so petty to have disturbed your meeting with something as infime as my personal life. No this concerns the whole of the underground."

The words from the Fairy seemed to be laced with annoyance as well as he smiled at her. "How very true you are."

Lucas leaned forward a bit and reached into his pocket. After a moment of fumbling Lucas found what he was searching for and held out his hand so the other two could see. Inside was a tan colored scroll with sagged edges. It was small enough to conceal in ones hand but quite thick. Lucas looked down at the scroll and held it in his finger tips gingerly.

"The human world gets closer and closer every day to succeeding in finding a way into the Underground. My sources on the surface tell me that more and more Fae are disappearing on the surface. Even more concerning is a human managed to stumble his way into my shop not to long ago. I sent him with a friend to return him to the surface and haven't heard from him since. We need to defend ourselves from the human world or they will march on us and kill every last living thing in The Underground. That's what this is for. Inside this scroll is a detailed plan on a ritual that will give us a solid protection against the humans. A way to not only protect The Underground, but push the humans back so that they never try this again."

Lucas unbound the little scroll and pulled it out a few inches. The parchment was very odd indeed, in fact it looked as if the strange black symbols on it were tattooed on flesh. Lucas ran a finger over the soft flesh leather and then looked back up at the king.

"A few of the items written on this scroll I already have in my possession, but I am missing a very important and crucial element. Something, I can only get from you Lord Gareth."

Lucas knew what he was about to ask the king for he might be incinerated for. But Lucas had gone over it in his head a million times and had convinced himself that this was a sure fire way to stop the humans. He may not be the most trust worthy, or even liked person in the underground. But he did not wish for The Underground to be destroyed by ignorant humans. His gaze was solid and sincere as he met eyes with the king.

"I need a Draconite stone."

@Beowulf @Axel1313

Nearly finished with yet another smoke, Blacks head lifted as he heard the door to the room Penelope had disappeared into open. She did not look like anything, and for some reason that sent a chill up Blacks spine more than is she had come out pissed.

Blacks focus went to the window, the smoke was starting to clear up a tad and it hadn't seemed like anyone had called the fire department. At least something was going right. Black reached down and put the cigarette out on the bottom of his boot and tossed the butt into an near by bin. He reached into his pocket and fetched the little orb and tossed it in Penelope's direction.

"Yeaaaaaa, Connor, you wanna explain? I've got the biggest bloody headache."

Black put his hand up to his temple and began to move it in circles the try and alleviate the pressure from the stressful afternoon.

@rosamortelle

"What people? I haven't seen…" then it dawned on him. That sly witch doctor got past him some how, but how? Well, it seemed that the king knew about it anyway, so there was nothing he could really do about it. However, "Yeah, I saw your brother. He was outside the castle, told him I tell his da that he was out if I got to the castle first. I figured he did, since he can fly and all that."

@Axel1313

Connor quickly glared at Black, throwing the task of explaining this on him like that. How dare he. But he had to do it now. "Well, you see, the thing we caught dod a thing, Black shot out the lights, and then next thing I know I'm told to throw an incendiary out the window." Yep, that's exactly what happened.

(@zCrookedz @Axel1313)

"No." Gareth said immediatly. There were many things he would do for the Underground, but letting this human root around in his head for the most precious thing a dragon is goven was not one of them. "I can simply have the gates closed, the humans will never find us then. And if we are to drive them back, I will go out there myself and do so with tooth and claw." That would certainly do the trick, but for how long?

(@zCrookedz @Axel1313 )

((Terribly sorry if they're a bit shorter then usual, in a rush and on my Ipod.))

"So it is unpredictable? Do the entrances appear in some different locations too?" He asked curiously. "I'm not meaning to pry, but I'm just curious of course...seeing as I stumbled into one while disoriented...it is a good question as to why nothing picked up on me or kicked me out though. Surely there are defenses against unwanted visitors, right?" Now that he could finally think and was calm he had so many questions. He did not want to ask too many though...who knows if those creeps were somehow listening in on them or tracking them.

@Aridis

"Ah...he knows better than to leave without telling where he is going." Austere scoffed lightly, his gaze falling to the ground. "I'm...I...I should probably go look for him. If father asks, simply tell him we were out browsing the citizens wares again. I would hate for my brother to get yelled at again for this." He gulped. He hated leaving the castle, but he could not just let his brother run wild out there. Not with the risk of humans getting worse by the day. Hopefully he was still in the Underground though...

@Beowulf

"Hmm....I am sorry. I cannot decide who to agree with here." She sighed heavily and shut her airy green eyes, a slight frown formed on her delicate face. "The magics you propose are quite dark and dangerous human, but if what you said is correct. That a human found their way down here. Then that could be a bad sign. On the other hand. We do not know. Perhaps it was merely an accident as it has been before? Sometimes it has been known to take in those innocent and desperate of refuge, but only for a moment."

@zCrookedz @Beowulf

Lucas's face held its position, he had always found that getting angry or upset about anything never made situations better. Inside he was livid with the stubbornness of the dragon, but he had to thank that he had not been incinerated on the spot for suggesting such a thing. This made Lucas think, was it possible that even with his outward opposition there might be a tiny inclination that the humans might succeed. There was no way for Lucas to be sure other than to continue speaking his mind.

"My lord, I understand the position that this puts you in in me asking such a request. Know that it would not need to be you that I receive the stone from, merely a living dragon. With it, it would insure the protection of The Underground when the gates fail, and should your tooth and claw not be enough."

Lucas tied the string back around the scroll after rolling it back up and slipped it back into his pocket. When his hand returned he pulled out a small totem and began to rub it with his thumb. At the sound of the Grand Fairies voice, Lucas sighed a bit before responding to her.

"I thought so as well my lady, but the conditions of the priests arrival where troubling. It sounded as if some one from the outside world sent him here to his death. If they knew how to send him here, they could possibly know how to get here themselves."

His focus turned back to the king, he had to make him see what he was talking about.

"Maybe if I explain in a bit more detail. The plan is simple enough, I will lure three of my Spirits from the other side. These Loa are trusted allies and will gladly help save the Underground. Once they have all agreed, they will be combined to form a much more powerful Loa. With that Loa's help, we will be able to harness enough power to protect everyone in The Underground. The stone is so I can create a talisman to focus the power for the Loa. He can be a bit, unpredictable, but I assure you that it would work."

@Axel1313 @Beowulf

And now the headache was worse. God did he need a drink or something. This whole situation was becoming so bothersome now, he wished he could just go back to shooting Vamps. Black laid his head back on the couch and closed his eyes.

"Damn it Conor, look Vasicle thats not exactly what happened. The wraith grabbed both our shadows and used mine to shoot out the lights. Not my fault. Then I yelled to throw a flash grenade, maybe it would have stopped the wraith long enough for us to get the situation under control again. I never said to throw an incendiary and nearly kill us."

He shot Conor a sideways glare from underneath his hand, the guy had tried to throw Black under the bus for the incendiary. The psychotic stuff Black could handle, but he liked to keep his professional image just that, and he didn't want Conors story muddling that up.

"But that's besides the point. Now our only leads have escaped through the shadows and we need to try and track down the entrance before it moves again."

@rosamortelle
