Fantasy The Twelve Gatekeepers

"Hey now, Aries.. at least try not to kill us, ok? Just looking at you makes me want to run now" He said, taking a cautious but slightly joking step back. "Just try not to be too harsh" He mumbled before he looked at Sagi with a tiny, slightly tight smile. He was still a bit uncomfortable but getting over that distrust he had of her and Leo. "I made a necklace for Pisces but I'll have to wait a day before I can make another one.. so we have around 11 days before I'm done, most likely" He said. He had to admit to himself, he was a bit scared of letting someone as fierce as Aries teach him and the others how to fight better with their weapons since he only had the two substitute fans he got from Libra.

"Actually, I think Sagittarius would make better speeches... I'd rather spar, to be honest," Leo admitted sheepishly. "But yeah, we really do need to help out our siblings. They're our siblings, after all. Even if we do have a few bones to pick with them." Noticing Gemini's nervousness, she gave him a smile. "Don't worry, we're not going to kill anyone, right Aries?"

"I'm... I'm not good at giving speeches." Sagittarius denied, looking at Leo. She felt a bit anxiety for some reason, guessing it's because of the conversation's topic.
 
"Oh... okay..." Leo responded with a nod. It was all she could think of saying.
 
Aries rolled her eyes and held up her pinky finger, "I won't kill them during practice, power god's honor!" Aries then raised her hand in mock salute of Leo and Sagittarius. She was amazed at how her fire siblings seemed to be more reserved than her. It kind of pisses me off that they're being all bashful now. This is not the time to act cute and innocent. Aries huffed, "All right, all right. I'll kick ass in practice and give kick ass yellin-motivational speeches."

"Aries, you know I was kidding." Sagittarius rolled her eyes, changing into her normal gatekeeper form with her bow on her back.
 
He shook his head, finding these three sisters rather amusing to listen to. "Don't be too harsh on us, some might lose the desire to fight" He said before he looked at the two fans he put in one of his hands. "On top of me refusing to hold a weapon like a sword because of my first sin"

Aries joyfully threw her arm over Sagittarius' shoulder and actually had a genuinely warm smile on her face for once. "Welcome dear Sag to the winning team full of passion and jokes. It's our jobs to whip these kids into shape, metaphorically and physically. Team Z-Fire has this situation on lockdown!" She pumped her fist in the air as if it were a victory pose, "Do not fear brother Gem, I'm gonna have a great time teaching you hand-to-hand combat and other martial arts that I picked up on from my human companions."

He watched Aries, looking a bit worried for himself. "J-Just so you know.. I-I do have some skills at fighting.. basics only probably.." He said before he looked at them. "Do what you can for the others, some might need a bit of convincing.."

I'm going to find Libra again and ask him about something before I go find Pisces and give her the necklace.. you three go find anyone you can and explain to them the plan" He said before he walked to the bridge slowly. "If you don't get a move on, the barrier will eject you like rockets once I step out!" He called.

In her room, Pisces was busy resting. She was emotionally exhausted, and it was the best stress reliever she could think of. Still though, she tossed and turned in her bed, clearly troubled.

As Belle began to trot towards the edge of the island, Capricorn began to slowly realize that she might have been a little too stuck up, moments ago. She took a few deep breaths, clenching her fists, with the reins in them, together even stronger. "I've got this. I've got this.", she murmured to herself.


It was true, she had ridden on other animals before. But many animals? Not so true. The only animal she had ever ridden before was her pet, a gryphon. She turned her head slightly, facing Aquarius with only part of her face, as she felt the grip around her waist get slightly tighter. "Don't worry, I've got this. I mean, it can't be too different from riding on a gryphon, right?.. Right?", she asked, feeling also slightly worried now.

"Nahh.. you'll be fine. If Belle decides she's going to behave today and give you a smooth flight." Aquarius assured her, not quite assuring when he had his eyes locked forward and his hands were stiff at Capricorn's waist. "...which she never does." He then added under his breath, audible for only a quick second to Capricorn before Belle leapt off the edge of the island.


The cold wind rushed at their faces, cold droplets of water sticking to their clothes and skin when Belle fell through the clouds. Currently, Belle was at a dive pointing straight down towards the Earth; her wings were spread wide apart and her mane sometimes flicked towards Capricorn's face. Aquarius was cheering from behind, legs gripping tightly onto the saddle and left hand draped around Capricorn's waist to her stomach. His right hand was raised high in the air in a fist, and his face was in an excited grin. He continued to cheer, nearly inaudible in their freefall.


Slowly, Belle slowed down by uprighting her position, leveling out their path until they were at a steady and slow glide. Aquarius was breathing heavily because of his cheering, both hands now around Capricorn's and his head peering towards the front and over her shoulder. "How was that? That's only a small bit, and she didn't even spin!"

Aries stood up, a few popping sounds emanated from her back. One hand ran through her messy hair that seemed to get a little too long lately. "Alright people, I refuse to be ejected like a criminal so I'm rolling out." Aries gracefully hopped on Ra's back and told him to take her back to the palace to seek out her first victim. At that last minute, Ra scooped Leo and Sagittarius with his mouth to place them at the entrance of the palace. "Consider this one of my good deeds kids." Aries allowed Ra to go back home while she ran through the extravagant hallways of the Zodiac Palace, "Pisces~ Pisces~ come on out darlin', there's something I have to tell you."

Leo nodded, and left the barrier, heading off to... wherever.
 
After a while, Pisces woke up and stared at her bedroom door. She could very well hear someone yelling her name, and she knew immediately who it was. Annoyed, she grabbed her pillow and covered her ears with it. The last person she wanted to deal with was the rowdy Aries.

As Gemini kept looking around for his brother, he tried to think of where he'd go. After a moment of thought, he ran off towards the towel and went up, popping up behind Libra. "I have a question and information you and the others need to know ASAP" He said, not wasting any time. "When I get my powers fully back, what will happen to me, considering Lucifer destroyed my weapons and killed my war pet?" He asked. @Wickedkent
