Aries was actually focusing all of her attention on the two before her. This was her specialty, strategic combat plans. "Leo you have a point. It'll slow down the process but it's not a long term solution. It's still better than nothing." When Gem asked the question on souls, Aries excitedly raised her hand. "Once he gets a soul, there's a long ass process of placing them in different levels based on the severity of their sins. Unless some previous deal was made beforehand. Sometimes he reanimates them in the hope of bringing forth more evil. It's just whenever he feels like it."

He listened to Aries, laying down on the grass. "That is true.. but what do you think demons eat to get powerful?" He asked, giving a pointed look for them to connect his two questions. "That's what Lucifer is planning if you end up killing the Zodiacs..." @Shadow Alpha @Noivian

"Not even surprised, sounds like some shit he would." Aries looked down at her faithful companion while contemplating the possibilities of being eaten. Ra's tail wagged happily as he licked Aries' palm. "So we're like steroids for demons. That's kind of cool to think about from the view point of a demon. Wouldn't it just be easier for Satan to resurrect us as demons to do his bidding."

Leo facepalmed. "That's not... Are either of you even listening to me? Am I not getting something here?"

He glanced at Leo before he looked at Aries. "Can you explain what I mean? I can't say it or I might break the contract" He said, giving a bit of an apologetic look as otherwise it probably would make him look too lazy to explain it himself. "And he could turn is, Aries, but most of you powerful Zodiacs are much more strong-willed and stubborn.. I mean, heck.. I broke and was turned into a demon after only 10 months of torture" He whispered, his body trembling at the mere memory of that. @Noivian @Shadow Alpha

This has become a pain in the ass now. Aries was unsure of why their siblings struggled so much to speak between each other. It really shouldn't be this hard. "Alright, Leo the problem is becoming Satan's pawns. Gem, Leo wants you to at least think about her idea. It's not that bad in my opinion." After all this time, why would Satan finally get his ass in gear now. "Of all the zodiacs, I personally know Satan's evil whisper. Gotta say that he was kinda there for me a little when you all turned on me. It was nice getting cheered on by someone."

"That's precicely what I'm trying to counter. If Satan's plans are sped up by us fighting, stopping the fight for at least a while would probably help, right?" Leo said again, getting really tired of repeating herself.

 

[Shadow Alpha]

"Apparently the big bad devil can manipulate us into fighting each other. Pretty messed up how you don't have any faith in us Gem. We're not as weak minded as you were, our minds are as untamable as an inferno." Aries wondered how susceptible the other zodiacs were to the evil voice of Lucifer.

"Yeah, and the other Zodiacs aren't nearly as violent-minded as we are. So really, it's not the others you need to worry about, it's us," Leo added, nodding and crossing her arms. This made perfect sense in her mind.

 

[DuckPrince]

He closed his eyes, clasped his hands together and pressed the clasped together sides to his lips. "I understand what you're saying, Leo but he would just find a way for you to start fighting again. I'm not going to settle for a half-assed solution that can keep us safe for as long as my contract with him keeps up." He sighed. "I'm not even sure if he's listening in on me or not but even speaking about plans against him could be pointless" He said before he frowned. "You don't understand, Aries. I'm not weak, under any other circumstance Lucifer couldn't reach me, not even my first sin wasn't enough to let him into my mind" He said. "But that little bit of doubt I've been having for a while was just what he needed and he possessed me." He sighed, getting progressively irritated by their claims of having a mind strong enough to keep Lucifer out. "You might not even be the problem!" He finally said, louder than he intended to. "You are stubborn, determined and don't care much for the rules but what about those of us who constantly have doubts and question our worth between Zodiacs?! Compared to you, me, probably Pisces and Taurus, we're nothing, don't you get it?!" He said, standing up and looking at them. "That self-doubt is all he needs to snake inside your head and control you"

"Then what the fuck are we supposed to do, Gem? What you're saying is we're basically doomed because everyone isn't entirely self assured and there's nothing we can do about it. What the fuck are we supposed to do?" Leo yelled, outraged. She felt useless. Was fighting really the answer? "I seriously doubt that having a war between us will raise anyone's self-worth," she stated, tears coming to her eyes. "Just tell us what we have to do to beat him, Gem. Please. I'm just... so tired. I'm tired of all this beating around the bush."

 

[Shadow Alpha]

Aries banged her into her hand as an idea appeared. "Ahh I understand why this seems hard for Leo and I to grasp! We aren't the main attraction in this disastrous games of his. Gem, you should honestly talk with the others about this since they are prime targets for Lucifer. Aries nudged Leo and sent a playful wink, "Hell, we could teach those self-doubting fools a thing or two about confidence. I may be cocky, but it's only because I'm aware of my limits. I'm the god of power for shit sake, they need to understand that they have their own field of expertise."

 

[DuckPrince]

He ran a hand through his hair, finding the contract to be very frustrating. "I have to beat around the bush, I can't tell you anything directly but I don't know what to do.. I need time... please just.." He sighed, his shoulders sagging. "It won't raise anyone's self-esteem but Lucifer decides to make someone like any of you or Scorpio or anyone with that kind of determination start to go against you because of a perfectly set up trap, he'll just get more powerful" He said before he walked into the House of Wishes and looked towards the roof. The entirety of the room was filled with little twinkling lights that were actually wishes. Some were coloured darker and some lighter. "All I can do for everyone is make rings or necklaces to protect you if I tell his plan and something happens.." He said, closing his eyes as he reached a hand up and brushed his fingers through the wishes and cupped it in his hands before he blew on them. For now he can probably create only one and since he didn't think Aries really needed one as she did go to Hell a lot and Leo would probably be too passionate to let the devil into her mind, he made a necklace for Pisces, two silver fish with green eyes on top of the Pisces zodiac sign dangling from a fine, thin silver and blue chain. He then walked back out and nodded to Aries's words. "Yeah.. that might work.." He'd give the necklace to the zodiac when he saw her.

Leo sighed, trying to get a grip on herself. Sometimes she just got so overemotional. It was horrible. Wiping away her gathering tears, she nodded. "So now it's a waiting game. We gotta hope that nothing big happens while Gem makes protective jewelry, right?" she reaffirmed. "In the mean time, we're pep talk central. I propose that we have a buddy system going on. No one goes anywhere without another Zodiac, so we can get used to the idea of going places with others when and if the contract breaks."

...You've got to be kidding me. Aries looked over at Leo with one eyebrow raised in a 'are you serious' fashion. If you needed someone to watch your back during battle, sure. She was the girl for you. But buddies...not so much. Aries was quite fond of the time she spent alone with her thoughts. Guess I can kiss that goodbye now. "You do know that my pep talks usually encourage instinctual rage right? I'd probably just tease them to strengthen their resolve. If they lash out, there's no way in hell they can fight off Lucifer Leo. I'm not even sure if they stand a fighting chance."

Well, there went all the good feelings. "But you were just saying about the thing, and the other thing, and!" she sputtered in disbelief. "So are we back to square one again? Are we just supposed to go about our merry way with this knowledge of what's to come, and not be able to do anything about it?" This was almost as tiring to Leo as it was talking to a brick wall. "I guess we kinda do have to sit on our hands for a while, until Gem can make those jewelry pieces or whatever..." she heaved a sigh. "I don't like feeling this useless is all."

"Wait. Back up a moment." He said, lifting a finger up to hush both of them. "Each on of you has a weapon, even those of you that don't like fighting.. Well, Virgo has a book and everything but the problem isn't really that we are useless, we just feel like that because we don't have to skills to protect ourselves." He said. "You guys fight a lot, so you have the knowledge and experience but the rest of us are more peaceful and didn't train with weapons.. I mean, I have a long, long time ago with a spear and if I'm trying to kill Aquarius, I can sort of keep up with him but that's besides the point!" He waved his words off. He got off track so easily. "Why don't the Zodiacs that know how to fight, teach those that can't? It's an easy solution honestly" He sighed. That answer was completely obvious. "Most might not like it because they're pacifistic and gentle but this is kind of a crisis and all, they might not have a choice" He concluded. "What do you think then?"

"That's... better. It's not a full plan, but it's not sitting here and twiddling our thumbs, either. And who knows? Perhaps some sparring will help boost their confidence?" Leo nodded, feeling better now that there was a semblance of a plan in place. In her mind, it was rather sad how dependent she became on a well thought out plan when a crisis happened. Usually she wasn't like this, but something about certain situations made her a little... off, sometimes. "So, we're all agreed then? A ceasefire and battle training while we wait for Gem to make jewelry?"

"Couldn't agree more." Sagittarius agreed with a light smile, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.

Sagi has to be invited there, otherwise she can't get inside but lets just say she was already invited in -too lazy to drag this out- .u.)

Aries pouted at the idea of teaching those kids how to fight. "Leo you're better with convincing than I am, you probably give out great speeches." She cracked her knuckles causing small sparks to fly from them as she looked at those present with a dark grin. "I'm all for a truce. The best way to teach these spineless fools to fight is to go all out. What doesn't make them stronger will teach them a pretty harsh lesson if they ever thought they could take on the devil." Aries' adrenaline had begun to pump at the idea of figh-teaching her gentler siblings.
