The Secret

"Blades and depression" Zachary mutters under his breath, he was supposed to think that but somehow it came straight out of his mouth. He knee he was done for and he immediately regretted it.

Akira dropped her jaw, not bothering to try to stop the tears that immediately began flowing. Sorry to waste your time Dr. Aviana," she whispered shakily as she stood up. She walked out, slamming the door as she ran home. She ran inside and instantly began packing her things up, crying the entire time.

Aviana looked down at her notes and shook her head in disappointment. According to my notes, you just threw away an entire summer of good memories, an entire school year of obvious feelings and possibly the one person that was willing to put her relationship with you on the line to help you," she said softly. "But that's just my opinion.

Zachary stood and wanders out. He knew for sure he had to get away now, maybe he should die. Maybe that would make everyone feel a whole lot better. He wanders out of the building and headed home, gathering his things together and making sure he had a passport with him. Telling his secret to a human was the worst mistake ever.

Akira silently walked down the road, not bothering go home to her mother. She couldn't quit crying as she disappeared into an alley and sat against a wall. She buried her face in her arms as she sobbed, mentally questioning herself about why he would throw away a year of happiness for some blades.

Zachary set off then to the airport. He left a note saying he was sorry, that it was for the best and he would probably be in New York City with his cousins and would be far away from her as possible. He left the house then, wrapping his arms around himself.

Akira stood and began kicking her things as hard as she could, throwing and trashing them. Truth be told, she would rather live homeless than live without him. She let out several screams of frustration before noticing the toy he gave her. She hesitated before picking it up and hugging it tightly.

Zachary spent the night in his cousins large house, sleeping in his own room. It felt awfully lonely without Akira. He wraps his arms around himself and sighs. He was a horrible boyfriend and person.

Akira sighed as she leaned back and pulled out her phone. Despite being rejected by him, she needed to hear his voice and know he was okay. She hesitantly called Zachary and held the phone up to her ear as she hiccuped slightly from crying.

Zachary woke up when he heard his phone go. He glanced at the clock on his nightstand and noticed that it was 4am. He wondered who that could be. He answered the phone. "Hello" He says, sleepily.

Akira gasped softly when she heard his voice and closed her eyes gently. "I needed to hear your voice," she said softly as she looked down, relief washing over her.

"Oh. It's just you. Hi" Zachary mumbles, he curls up under the duvet to keep himself warm, nuzzling against the warm quilts. He wondered why she had called, or even wanted to talk to him after everything.

Akira sighed softly and wrapped an arm around herself. "Yea it's just me calling just you because I just still damn love you even though you don't return the feelings," she said as she sat down and hugged herself. "I wanted to know you were safe..." She said softly as she looked down and bit her lip nervously. "Why did you choose them over me?"

Zachary stares up at the ceiling as he ins his hands through his messy, blonde hair which was matted from sleeping. He sighs. "I don't know, I guess it just came out. I didn't really mean it, but you never listen to me anyways, I'm always a liar. I'll talk later. Bye" He says simply.

"Please....don't hang up," Akira said quickly as she looked down. "I want to listen now but you're not letting me. You think I'm just gonna call you a liar and hang up but I'm not. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't have even bothered calling. Zach I miss you. I want you to be here with me. I want you to be happy like you were when we first met..." She looked down as she sighed softly to keep from tearing up. "Please..." she whispered softly as she closed her eyes. What she didn't notice was the man standing in the shadows, watching her every move, planning his attack silently. When Akira wasn't looking, she silently walked over, slipping a black bag over her head and dragging her away, leaving nothing but her phone as she screamed and kicked in an effort to get away.

Zachary was confused, but hung up. Maybe she lost connection. He decided to go back and instantly travelled all the way back to where she lived to find no sign of her. He calls her name but no reply. He began to follow her scent in his wolf form, sniffing the ground curiously.

Akira didn't even know she had passed out until she slowly woke up tied to a chair. At least she thought she woke up. Her eyes were open but all she could see was dark. "H-hello?" She called shakily as she pulled nervously at the ropes, taking in as deep of a breath as she could. "SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!" She screamed as she tried thrashing around.

Zachary's ears pricked up at the screaming and he rushed after it, realising that the voice belonged to Akira. He broke into a small building and looks around, sniffing around for her scent. He goes into a room and see's her there, tied up.

Akira screamed again just before the man ~ blonde and in his early thirties ~ walked in. "Would you SHUT UP?!" He yelled as he slapped her. Hard.

Zachary watches and then growls at the man lowly, he goes over to him and then locks his teeth into his leg.

The man yelled in pain as he fell back and tried his best to scoot away. Akira immediately silenced despite the tears falling down her face and took a deep breath. "Hello?" She said quietly in fear as the man tried to hit Zachary away.

Zachary growls at the man, keeping him at bay and them goes over to Akira and bi through the ropes, quickly moving her out of the house as the man was currently dazed and in a trance, having a wolf burst into his home.

Upon seeing the wolf, Akira immediately knew it was Zach. But why? She cried as she wrapped her arms around his neck, hesitantly crawling into his back, hoping she wasn't too heavy. "Can we go home?" She asked softly as she buried her face into his fur.

Zachary nods and then began to lead them home, dropping her down gently once they reached back. He sat down by the door and nuzzles it lightly, he missed home. He waits for Akira to unlock the door.

Akira shakily unlocked the door and opened it, glad to see him nuzzling things again. She smiled softly and leaned down, kissing his head lovingly as she closed her eyes and walked inside.

Zachary wanders inside, tail wagging slightly as he goes into the front room. Nothing much had changed since he was gone. He goes over to the fire place and then lay down in front of it.
