The Secret

"Mimi....its Akira and before you hang up on me I need you as soon as possible. Meet me at the local ice cream shop. It has to do with Zach," she said nervously as she ran her hand through her hair nervously.

Mimi nods vaguely. "Sure, I'll meet you there" She says. When she was done with her makeup, hair and outfit she began to wander outside and stood outside of thd ice cream shop as she waited for Akira.

Akira left without a word and practically ran to the shop. Seeing Mimi there, she sighed in relief. "He's depressed...he's cutting... He's distant...he won't talk to me he's creating arguments about the silliest things...I dont know what to do..."

Mimi nods lightly. "Did you think of taking him to a therapist or a support group? Those usually help. Get him on some good medication and he'll be fine" She says.

Zachary had followed Akira for the entire journey and appeared quite near them. "I am fine" He muttered.

"Zach, I'm worried about you. Being depressed and cutting yourself isn't fine," she said as she looked at him. "Please just try the therapy," she said softly as she walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Zachary shook his body and pulls her hand away. "No, I don't want to go to therapy" He says firmly, barely looking at Mimi. He crosses his arms lightly. There was nothing wrong with him, he was perfectly fine. At least he thought he was.

Despite him pulling her hand away, she immediately returned it to his arm. "Zach you aren't okay. Please do this for me. I don't want you to have a breakdown and end up hurting yourself...."

Zachary shook his head. "I'm fine. I don't want to go but thanks for the offer" He mutters and turns, beginning to walk away.

"Either you go willingly or I will force you," she finally said as she grabbed his arm and turned him around, forcing his sleeve up. She held it up so he could see and shook her head. "This isn't fine!" She yelled, despite the tears falling.

"I don't want to talk about it. It was a small mistake and I'm okay now!" He says cheerily and plasters a fake smile onto his face. "So I don't need therapy" He says.

"This hurts me more than it hurts you but if all you're going to do is keep lying to my face then I'll find a new place to stay and I'll just leave you alone," Akira said quietly as she turned and walked off without another word. "God help me..."

Zachary wanders back home, soon he had agreed to go to therapy. "Okay, I'll go" He mumbles, quietly.

Akira sighed softly in relief and walked over to him. "Thank you," she said softly as she gently touched his shoulder before hugging him tightly. "I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't worried about your life," she whispered softly as she buried her face in his neck.

(Do you want to play the therapist? You can be either make or female if you like, considering I have Mimi)

Zachary began to wander towards the therapy building the next morning along with Akira. "You didn't have to come, I would've been fine by myself" He says and pushes the door open, there was a large waiting room and a woman at a desk, he guesses that it was the receptionist.

(Sure!!)

Akira shook her head as she followed him in. "I wanted to come," she said with a small smile as she walked up. "We need to see Dr. Aviana," she said softly. She was given paperwork and filled it out quickly before going to a chair in the waiting room.

Zachary sat down on then began to flick through a magazine that he found on a coffee table. Once they were called to see the therapist, he places it down and began to wander towards a man who would take them to where Dr. Aviana's room was.

Akira followed silently and looked around the room before her eyes rested on a woman in her late twenties with sandy blonde hair and stunning green eyes. "I'm Dr. Aviana and you must be Zachary," the woman said as she stood up and held her hand out.

Zachary just stares at her and turns away slightly, refusing to shake her hand. He didn't actually want to be there and just say in a chair, crossing his arms.

Akira apologized to Aviana and sighed. "Zach be nice," she said frustrated as she crossed her arms and sat down. Aviana pulled her hand back and sat down as well. "Okay then... So Akira tells me you been cutting and has seemed depressed as of late," she said as she looked at him and prepared her pen.

Zachary was looking at the floor. "Apparently, even though I'm not" He says and glances around the office.

Akira held out her phone and showed her pictures of the blades. "Yes he is." Aviana looked at Blake as she wrote down somethings. "It's perfectly normal to be in denial about these things Zachary," she said before thinking. "I'm just here to help. Now what's going on in your life?"

Zachary stares at Akira with cold, dark eyes. When did she take those? Did she hack his underwear draw or something? This mysteriously raised many eyebrows for him. He turns away even so. "I keep those blades for wood figurines! See!-" He dug into his shoulder bag and took out a few pieces of wood. "That ones a penguin" He says, pointing to something of which looked nothing like a penguin whatsoever.

"He's become an impulsive liar and a bad one at that," she said as she crossed her arms and shook her head.

"Zach I want to help you. Now what's going on in your life?" Aviana asked once more. "Is there any issues going on in your love life? Family life maybe?"

Zachary scoops his figurines into his shoulder bag and watches her. Instead of answering he drifts off to sleep, he often did this occasionally when he wanted to get out of a conversation or asking uncomfortable questions. His eyes slowly closed.

Akira immediately pushed him hard enough to move the chair. "Zach. You agreed to this so you need to participate. If not then you can choose. Me or the blades and depression," she said as she crossed her arms.
