Charlotte

"Well not exactly play a game." She looked through the basket to count how much they had, hoping that they could find a good place to keep them from getting moldy. "We will need to hide them in a glass container or something. And don't tell anyone about it. We give Gurak the herbs and then book it out of there. Don't even think about bread at the moment." She continued to walk with Abigail while thinking of what could be happening with the guild right now.
"Hey Abigail, would you be up for another quest if there are any good ones? Or we can just...go talk to more of the members I guess." There wasn't really much they could do. Abigail was the one who was always up for meeting new people so she might already know who was who. She slowed down a bit, this time with a more serious look on her face.
"Hey Abi, what do you think of the people in the guild? Is anyone giving you any trouble?"

Ryder
By the time Ryder made it downstairs, it seemed like the guild was finally picking up some life around the place. Whether it be arguments or just people simply helping each other out, everyone was doing something that could help benefit later down the road. Well, everyone except Sede and himself. Sure, they might've been the oldest members, and supposedly the most influential, but that didn't mean he had to actually do anything, right? Shimmying down the stairs with glee to his steps, the leader looked around for his next victim, wondering if there was anything he could help with before going out to meet Alister. (He didn't want to do any actual work just yet.)

It was a stretch, but he finally found the opportunity just outside the guild. Ah, yes, there was nothing better than greeting new members into the guild, especially if it was a beautiful woman and her paranoid companion. They seemed (somewhat) lost, and it was only right that Ryder lead them in the right direction. He was the guild leader, after all. With grandiose steps, the pervert of a man began to head towards the duo, watching as some little girl left them with a bow. Perhaps they wanted to join the guild, too? The more the merrier, even though he wasn't too sure that a little kid was going to be a good asset to the guild in the long run.

"Hello, hello!" Ryder would call out to the two, noting that the beautiful woman from earlier was simply staring at her companion like a dog in heat. "I'm Ryder, the leader of this guild here," he would begin to introduce without warning, holding out a sweaty hand. The heat has gotten so intense over the days. "Can I help you with anything?" he'd ask, speaking only to the lovestruck women, not paying any heed to the shadowy figure next to her. "If not, I can take you both on a little tour. What do ya say?"

Celica
Staring at the ceiling above her, the young girl waited as the healing potion did its work. Of course, the process hurt quite a bit. A good analogy would be along the lines of having all of the wounds you've ever gotten and been painfully reminded of them as your body went to work on actually healing the suckers. In short, it wasn't a fun time. Not for the poor girl who was now covered in those very wounds. Squirming around on the bed, she could feel each strand of herself being forced to work overtime, sweat beading down her face in exhaustion.

To pour even more salt on the wound, she couldn't even cry out her pain, each breath being hushed by the agony of having a shard lodged into the side of her neck. After learning about the lack of gratitude towards her heroism and the pain she had to endure because of it, Celica was beginning to regret her decision. Even if it was out of good will, she needed to be more careful about these things. She wouldn't be able to help others if she was the one taking the brunt of the attacks, anyway. Not that she could help very much in any situations. It never crossed her mind until now, but she had no form of attack, nor any form of defense or healing. She was, in fact, a liability for the rest of the guild.

Maybe that was what gave her the vigor to continue on with a more positive outlook. She knew of her own shortcomings and just needed a way to get over those obstacles. As soon as she was done with this whole healing business, she'd perhaps take part in some training, or even going on a quest for some useful experience. Whatever the case, Celica was stuck here for a good while. Not that she'd ever say it, but she really would've liked to have someone around during this time. Staring at the ceiling and only feeling turmoil within her body made it difficult to get her mind off of it.

    Location

Outside the Guild Hall, near the docks.

There was a few moment's pause, as he took in the sight of the young woman- from what he figured, they were more along the lines of an Arcanist to him. Or whatever people called people specialized in magic around here, truly. He'd open his mouth, before shutting it again. His movements were a bit jerky as he moved on towards the docks themselves, gesturing to the many crates that the crew were unloading.

"First thing is to get all of the cargo off the docks, and into the guild hall itself. I'd prefer to get it all outside the front door, not blocking the path, and figure out what's in each one, so we can place them in the proper area. That way, more people can notice the crates and help out with carrying them the rest of the way."

He'd give a brief nod, satisfied with his answer. Alister paused as he got to one of the crates, one that wasn't particularly large, maybe two by two feet large.

"Will you need any help?" He'd ask, almost as an afterthought, as there were numerous crates- some light, some heavy, some in between.

Abigail

When Charlotte mentioned Gurak a idea popped into Abigail's head "If we take the bread to Gurak he could make some super amazing sandwiches! Thats such a great idea me!" Abigail cheered, then her thought developed "Butttt he would stuff it full of meat, on second thought maybe this isn't such a good idea..." She sighed for a moment but then quickly smiled again. She turned to her sister after her thoughts "Both of those plans sound great! I love quests and talking to people! I know! Why don't we do both? We could find a quest and bring someone else with us! How does that sound?" Abigail asked, impressed with her own amazing idea. "What do I think of the people? Well I think they are all delightful! Well the ones I have met are, but I'm sure the ones I have not met are also great!" Abigail grinned as she skipped forwards. "But no one is as great as you Charlotte! You're my super doper bestist best sister forever and ever! SDBBSFaE for short!"

Sede

After what seemed like an eternity, Sede rolled over to face Gurak. Although he was initially unsure of what was in front of him, it soon dawned on him that he was looking at the orc's large heap of meat.

"Oh, ehh thanks man." Sede slurred, wrapping his hand around a questionably large sausage.

Immediately after doing so, he pulled out and screamed at the top of his lungs, "WHY THE FUCK IS THIS SO DAMN HOT!"

Misinterpreting the entire situation as a prank constructed by Ryder, Sede burst outside in pursuit of the guild leader. It did not matter that he was still wearing boxers, or that he was without his precious chair; all Sede cared for after the mess hall incident was his personal redemption. If it meant that he must “accidentally” launch Ryder into the sea, it could not be helped. What did matter, however, was who he noticed Ryder was talking to. It was not every day that recruits with such potential arrived on the Guild’s island, and Sede would have to put his differences with Ryder aside for their common interest of appealing to their talented newbies.

“Heeyyyyy Ryyydeeerrr, buddyyyyyy,” Sede said lol, simultaneously putting his arm around Ryder in the most conspicuous way possible. “Are these our new recruits, PAL?”

  • As Oden stood outside while he waited for people to approach the guild, he had begun to take off his armor seeing as how he'd decided to put on VERY heavy armor while in Cuba, and as such his skin felt like it was boiling every second the armor was on. By the time he'd finally managed to get off his god forsaken chest piece and tossed it to the side with his helmet and his gauntlets, Oden looked forwards to see Ryder approaching what seemed to be two newbies, which upon first glance didn't seem to bad...

But then Oden realized that one of the two newbies was a woman.

In an instant, Oden realized what might happen in just a moment! Ryder would flirt with her, and then he'd go to far, and then she'd get angry and turn out to be a demigod who could smite everyone in the guild with just a thought, and she'd then turn her wrath to the entire world and destroy it! Of course that probably wouldn't happen, but it was still a possibility, and it was a possibility Oden had to prevent!

Oden jogged forward and waved his arms in the air while calling out, "That man before you doesn't represent the opinions of the entire guild! Don't listen to anything he says just yet!"

What everyone else saw however, was a man with disheveled hair and bags under his eyes wearing only the lower half of a set of armor and a thin long sleeved shirt that clung to his body due to sweat, there was no doubt he seemed somewhat odd. By the time Oden did reach the group, he was panting as he put his hands on his knees and looked directly at the woman, "I apologize for anything and everything this man in front of you has said to you so far, especially the inappropriate and possibly lewd comments he's made about your body and face, he's the guild's biggest disapointment." Oden then straightened himself up and bowed slightly, "Anyways, my name is most likely Oden Free, and the man besides you is my guild master Ryder, who was just giving one of the guild's latest recruits a tour." Oden then shot Ryder a dirty look after he finished speaking.

Gurak

Silence settled over the room as Gurak held his outstretched hand towards Sede for an almost awkward length of time. The lack of a response probably meant their pseudo-leader was out of the count, though the orc knew there were some things he just had to do for courtesy. Thankfully, though, everyone in the hall had either left or didn't seem to care at all - and Gurak quickly withdrew his hand before anyone else could see. "Alright bud, just stay down th-" The words caught in his throat as he felt a certain tugging sensation on a certainly sensitive part of his person, the orc was simply stunned. He had half a mind to slap the living shit out of Sede, but before he could snap out of his stupor, the man had already bolted away, screaming something about how hot something was. Feeling violated, bothered, and a tad bit complimented, the orc turned around just in time for Zane's question.

"Oh, hello there! Yes, I'm Gurak." The orc raised a hand in greeting, then quickly picked up the box from the floor as he was told he was the recipient. "So this must be the meat crate, huh? Thanks for the delivery, my friend." The orc was just about to turn around and stride out of the hall before a thought crossed his mind. "Hold on. They sent new meat - er, recruits with this ship, didn't they? Do you happen to be one of them?" Gurak felt a sense of mounting dread as he looked around the wrecked guild hall, worried that the man in front of him had already met their... eccentric leader. Visible discomfort passed over the orc's face. "And you're okay with us, right? I can apologize in advance for anything our... eccentric leader has done so far."

Maria

Maria could only shake her head sadly as Natalia began explaining how Jayn had been "pranking" her. "No, Miss Natalia, you don't understand," she said quietly, pulling off her hat and putting it over her heart. "Prank or no, I have a need - no, a duty - to help every man and maiden in dire straits." A sad smile stretched across Maria's face in that moment. "Coming to this guild, I thought I'd be fighting real monsters, but who could've thought the financial beast would be my first enemy?" With that, Maria placed her hat back on her head, fixing it back to its normal tipped position. "The same goes for you, Miss Natalia. I aim for glory, heroics and the smiles of kind souls like you or Miss Jayn. On my honor - I swear it - I'll be here if you need me!"

Maria had to adjust quickly from her heartfelt speech to backing up a bit from Jayn as the other woman came running up to her, an almost too wide smile plastered on her face. "Y-yes, of course I help you, Jayn," she declared, voice slightly wavering as she took an unsteady step back. "Like I said, your prank was harmle-" In the midst of her frantic explanations, Jayn's mention of the "entrance ceremony" and whatever it entailed sailed right over Maria's head - and thus, she was understandably a bit shocked to find a pistol leveled at her. The swordswoman only had a few seconds to stumble back before Jayn's pistol discharged, sending her staggering back with its deafening sound. Still reeling from the blast, a whirlwind of thoughts passed through Maria's mind. Did she mean to do that? Am I under assault? Should I defend myself?

This ringing in my ear is getting kinda annoying...

Still slightly deafened and drowned out by the unbearable ringing in her right ear, Maria ignored whatever Jayn said next and instead lurched over to grab the hilt of her sword. Standing menacingly still for a couple of seconds, she eventually yanked the sword out from its temporary scabbard in the wall. "NANI The hell was that for!?" Though the could barely hear herself through the ringing, Maria raised her sword, bringing it to level with Jayn's pistol. "I'm... confused, angry, and this damn ringing isn't going away. EN GARDE, JAYN!" With that, Maria rushed at her new "opponent", lashing out with a diagonal strike to start the duel.

Arnold

Arnold F. Reese, geezer extraordinaire, awoke to the sound of a gunshot. Rather, it was the sound of two gunshots, a kicked-open door, and various screams and crashes from the guild's crazed leaders and their equally excitable subordinates. To make matters worse, the old man had fallen asleep at the edge of his bed, and as he rolled out from the shock, his age-dulled reflexes were not enough to catch and break his fall. Instead of creating some sort of cushion or slide for his fall, in fact, Arnold hit the ground with a solid thud and subsequently covered himself with a layer of frost. Not uttering a single word through this whole ordeal, Arnold forced himself up, throwing on his coat and re-stoking his ice box before leaving to greet the especially warm day.

If there was one thing that made the guild worth staying in to Arnold, it was definitely its unpredictability. After the death of his last brother, the old man had thought he'd definitely seen everything, every time he passed through the guild hall, it proved him wrong. Just today, he watched a new girl hit an especially gropey Ryder upside the head, Sede grab Gurak's green sausage, and a couple of women yelling and firing guns at each other near the entrance. Arnold could only shake his head in disbelief with every strange moment, before rubbing his temples and deciding to go for a walk outside.

As he dodged the women and headed the the guild's doors, however, Arnold paused for a split second before he could even turn the doorknob. Indistinguishable muttering was coming from the other side of the door, and although he couldn't see the being (or in this case, goblin) doing the strange muttering, he knew, from experience, that this usually wasn't a good thing. Peering through a slight crack in the door, Arnold confirmed his fears a bit in seeing a small, hooded figure with a strange packet on his back doing that soft speaking. As he pulled back, cold air blew through the crack in the door, though it was probably unnoticeable through Su'tal's cold sweat, and a light layer of frost began creeping through the small space beneath the door.

Unwilling to wait any long, Arnold flung open the door, just close enough to brush by the goblin in front of it. The frost grew even faster now that it wasn't held back by the door, and Arnold loomed menacingly over the goblin boy, not really putting his best fopot forward in terms of a "warm welcome". "I'm sorry, but do you have some business here?" He asked, keeping a cold stare on the boy. "You seem awfully nervous, son. How can I help you?"

Vance wasn't exactly happy with Julie's reaction to how he treated Alister. He didn't trust the man at all, since he had approached them while checking the state of his weapons; He wasn't happy with Julie giving Alister his weapons back either, though he didn't say anything about it. Vance kept an eye on Julie and Alister as they talked. As the situation with Alister was happening, some other guy came up to them to ask if any of them were the leader of the guild. Vance completely ignored the man. Vance glared over at Alister, silently daring his to make a move, so he'd have another excuse to beat the crap out of him; if Alister did attack Julie, Isabel or himself, Vance wouldn't hesitate to kill him.

Before long, Julie came back over to the both of them and informed them that she wanted to stay with Alister for a while. Vance didn't exactly agree with Julie going along with the man by herself; He was sure that she'd be able to handle herself, though that wasn't the point. But at Isabel pointed out, she couldn't force her to stay with them.. which meant he definitely couldn't. Before he could say anything to Julie about her choice, she'd already gone back over to Alister. Vance glanced over at Isabel and noticed that she was just staring at him.
"You alright there Isabel? Is there any reason you're just staring at me?" He smiled at Isabel briefly before looking back over towards Julie.

Vance wanted to go over to Alister and warn him that his life was on the line if Julie was harmed in any way, even if it wasn't directly his fault. But before he could go over and say anything to him, another man came up to the both of them. Vance shrugged, Alister would just have to not get a warning. The man seemed to be only paying attention to Isabel when he spoke. The reason for that became clear as yet another person came running up to them, warning them to not listen to anything he said. Before then preemptively apologizing to Isabel for any comments the man made about her body. Upon hearing that, Vance sent a sharp glare in Ryder's direction.

Vance then turned his attention to Oden, though he made sure he kept an eye on Ryder.
"So far this guild doesn't seem great. You've got that fuck over there" Vance forked a thumb in Alister's direction. "And now I find that you have some sort of pervert. And you yourself aren't even one hundred percent sure of your own name. So if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about one person ruining this guilds reputation; I think it might be a group effort" Vance looked over at both men, addressing them both. "Anyway, a tour would be nice. Maybe we'll find one good thing about this guild while we're here? Actually, I doubt that" Vance shrugged and sighed lightly. "Anyway, All I want to know is where the infirmary, and the rooms are. You do have those things, right? Or are you guys worse than I thought?"

Ryder
Feeling Sede wrapping an arm over his shoulder, the guild leader looked back to his old rival. Placing a hand on their head and ruffling Sede's hair about, Ryder would let out a welcoming chuckle. "Not really sure, OLD FRIEND. I just happened upon her- these two and was asking if she- they wanted to go on a little tour. Good thing you're here, CHAP. I was worried that you got stuck in the floorboards back there." With a not-so-friendly smacking away of Sede's arm, the Pactborn adjusted the collar of his beach shirt, ensuring that it still held its flare.

Then Oden came barging in behind him. "O-Oden, whatever are you talking about! I said no such things- What happened to your clothes," Ryder would ask, finding it somewhat odd to see the young man out of his armored apparel. That same odd feeling from before began to bubble up in his chest, Ryder looking back over to Isabel before anything strange entered into his mind. "He's just joking. Here at The Order, we are efficient and effective, getting jobs from killing dragons to unclogging sewage pipes, we're your guys." Giving a thumbs up, the man tried to play past Vance's disapproving glare.

"Of course we have an infirmary and rooms! We're one of the various guilds, known for their glory and beautiful rooms! If you don't mind, I'll have Oden take over here. It seems that I have some important business elsewhere." Giving a nervous laugh and yanking Sede away with a hand grasped onto the back of his undergarments, he'd head towards the ship at a hurried pace. It was a shame to be letting go of such a beauty this early in the game, but he was more worried for his masculinity if he stayed with Oden or that scowling man any longer. Especially Oden.

Julie: While she could lift all of these crates, the fact that Alister would in her place was even better. When Julie mentioned staying with Alister, she said she'd watch the process, not participate. Saying that would come off as foul natured. This left her with a good option, appear as frail as she looks for as long as she can. There's nothing wrong in seeming weak, you're exposed to certain elements if you're amongst the average or below. "Ah, yes, I apologize but I will need assistance. That being said are you sure you want me to help? I can't promise I'll be able to carry things the full distance. It may be a hassle for you, just letting you know a bit in advance." While this seemed a bit underhanded, friendly or not, Alister was still a stranger. For now she'd have to settle with playing personality games until she was sure of the situation. She hasn't met anyone else so far but Alister was leaving at least a decent impression as a representative of the guild. ( HTCOR HTCOR )

Isabel: After the light of her life had left to make friends with some strange man, more randoms showed up. Sure, she did agree to let Vance do the talking but the current situation was unbearable. The vulgar swine who called himself the guild leader kept staring her down, she knew exactly why. Honestly she felt disgusted, almost poisoned by his gaze. If she could describe the feeling physically, it was like having maggots replace the blood in your veins. This insect apologizing for him was no better, mortal customs or not, she wouldn't tolerate it. First the dude brandishing his weapons shits on her name and gets away with it. Then this circus freak mentally fucks her and his shitty side show expects her to get over it. What Isabel had learned from her few moments of this place was that it's not what it's cut out to be. She wouldn't tolerate another second of this. "Vance, that's okay, I think it's best we go. I've gathered enough from this place and it's definitely not what I was hoping for. If you don't mind, I'd like to leave, now." ( GingerBread GingerBread Loony_Bin Loony_Bin TheImmortalDeity TheImmortalDeity )

Ryan Silverthorne
Ryan Silverthorne.png
As Ryan wandered the guild halls, he looked around for the two idiots he'd been wanting to yell at the whole morning. Ryder and Sede. Those morons were going to get what's coming, even if Ryan wasn't the one to deliver it. He'd damn well try to be the one though. Eventually he returned to the hall where it all went down, and noticed something very... creepy. "Sede isn't in his chair... I'll just try to ignore that fact..." As he walked past the chair, he couldn't help but stare at it, thinking that maybe it was magically enchanted and any moment it'd rocket towards Sede's ass where it belonged. In this place, that was very possible, and it was one of very few things that scared Ryan. Once he passed the chair, and believed it to be safe to stop watching it, he headed outside.

There they were, most wanted number one and two. Ryan debated on running up to them in order to stop them from escaping, but it seemed they were busy. Once he was behind the pair, with Oden off to the side, he grabbed both of them by the head, and smashed their skulls together for a moment. "You know, for being the representatives, guild master and best member of this guild, you two are absolute jokes and disgraces. Not only did you manage to destroy all the windows of the guild, AGAIN, but a girl was severely injured because of it. Oh, and to top it all off, our healer beats me with a fucking stick for helping." He looked to see another girl and dark man, both of which who seemed very unhappy with the situation and continued, "If you really want to see what guild life is like, this is the place to come. You'll get plenty of daily disappointment, the jobs are less than favorable given the line of work we've chosen, and to top it all off, you'll always have something interesting to come home to because these two idiots alone could topple the whole damn building."

Ryan wasn't normally in such a rage, and he sure never talked this much either. Today's event's though had sent him over the edge though, and he had plenty to say. "By the way Ryder, I brought back some spirit shadow cat thing that uses people's minds to travel. She's rather annoying so if you could find someone who'd love a roommate please do tell me, otherwise, I'll make sure you're never able to flirt again." Some people would be confused as to the last threat, but Ryder knew full well what Ryan meant by those words, and if he had a shred of sanity, would know Ryan meant his words.
You'll get plenty of daily disappointment...

Vance turned to look at Isabel as she said she wanted to just leave. 'Finally' He was about to respond to her, but before he could yet another person came up to them, and started talking about the guild. Vance looked over at Ryder, since Ryan seemed to stop him leaving "Wow, yet another great example of why this guild is shit. I don't know how you manage it, but each person seems to be worse than the last. I can't wait to see how you top this guy." He turned his gaze towards Ryan. "I mean, he's making threats that don't make any sense. Is he going to sow your mouth shut? Chop off your dick? Is he going to make you into a vegetable? Nobody knows." Vance looked back over at Ryder. "Is this Guild for all the 'special' people? The ones that have no chance of functioning in society?" He paused in mock thought for a moment. "Actually, don't bother trying to strain your brain to answer that"

He looked over towards Ryan once more. "Are you special, little boy? Have you learned all your ABC's yet? Probably not.. Don't worry about it though, I'm sure you'll probably die soon, so it won't matter that you're not that smart. Though If you really want to learn them before you die, maybe your imaginary kitty can help you" Vance smirked at the man before looking over at Isabel "Right, Shall we leave now?" He gave Isabel a quick smile "Like you said, it's best we go and leave these.. 'Special' guys, to pretend they're doing something useful" Vance turned around and looked over towards where Julie was. "I'll go let Julie know that we're gonna leave now"

Vance started walking over to where Julie was. He figured Isabel would be close behind him, since she wanted to leave, arguably more than him now. Ignoring anything that was happening between Julie and Alister. "Hey Julie, we're gonna leave; The guild is worse than even I thought. So, finish up whatever you're doing quickly, so we can leave quickly. Thanks" Vance turned around and looked at the group of people that were now standing outside of the guild. He then gave them all the middle finger. He directed it more at Ryan, since it seemed like the man was already mad, and Vance wanted to make his day that little bit worse.

Celica
The health potion seemed to be working its magic on the little Celica quite nicely. Her skin, which was healing at a moderately slow rate, was stitching itself back together. In fact, it was enough to cause the previous stitching to begin falling out, having already performed their duty for a much shorter time than what they were anticipated. Still, that didn't mean she was out of the woods just yet. Unlike her other wounds, the large gash along her neck continued to create difficulties for her, her breathing strained and forced rather than a naturally occurring ordeal. With great difficulty, she pushed herself up to the point where she could lean against the pillow of the medical bed and the wall behind it.

Closing her eyes, she would listen to the sounds outside, the window having been left open to allow a comfortable breeze into the room. For a moment, she felt almost soothed, as if her wounds were finally dissipating from her person. Then she heard his voice. It was soft, hardly audible to the ears of a young girl, yet she could almost hear it as clear as day. While sounding much older than the man she once knew, there was no mistaking that it was, in fact, him. With a twist of her body, Celica forced herself onto her feet once more, still feeling wobbly as blood rushed to her head. She then headed for the door.

At first, it was a slow and sluggish trod towards her destination, but the more she heard his voice, the more invigorated she became. Finding herself darting for the entrance of the guild hall, strands of used and bloodied strings unraveled onto the guild floor followed up with droplets of fresh blood. Her stitches and the wounds that went along with them began to open one-by-one. Stumbling over her own feet, she frantically tried to reach outside, slamming onto the ground, only able to break the fall with her right side. Celica took in a deep breath and pushed herself up once more, not caring for the wandering eyes she might've been causing with her grandiose display.

Once escaping the building, she finally saw him. He was much older now. If she remembered correctly, it had been quite a few years since Vance disappeared from her life, but now he was here, directly within her sights. She saw how he was moving, how he seemed to be preparing to leave with a woman Celica had no recollection of. Just as joy had taken over her, now dread had begun to settle in instead. Racing towards her brother with one last effort, she attempted to cry out to him, only to find her voice lost due to her previous endeavor.

Tripping over herself and practically fighting her own unresponsive body in order to keep balance, there was a moment of stillness for her once she was within a reaching distance of the man. Grabbing the hem of his cloak, she pulled herself to him, ignoring any attempts to try and stop her from doing so. Now that she was close to him, and now that she knew he was quite real, Celica found it within herself to speak. "D-Don't leave," she rasped, her voice hoarse and ragged from the damage it had sustained. "Please don't leave again," she would follow up with a similar tone. Her grip must've been weakening, because a moment later the small child was now collapsed onto the ground, the bridge of her nose red and her forehead hot from the upcoming fever she was about to be putting herself through. Whether she liked it or not, Celica had pushed herself to her own breaking point.

There was a moment's consideration, as he drew in a deep breath, as to make a comment, before releasing some of it out of his nose. He'd glance over to Julianne, but he would glance down at the figure beside Vance's feet. There was a brief jolt of concern, before he would kneel down beside them. He'd lightly reach out as to detach her hands, picking her up akin to a newborn. Alister looked over to the trio, switching his gaze between the two he considered arcanists.

"Either of you able to fix this poor soul?" He'd ask, concern filling his voice. There was a moment's hope in his eyes, as he hoped for the best in this scenario.

There was almost certainly blood dripping down him from Celica's throat, as he would be ready to bolt for the guild. He'd jostle them every few seconds, carrying the small girl in a bridal carry. His eyes darted between the two women, waiting for something to be said. Anything. If nothing was said however, the hope in his eyes died, and his shoulders would drop.

Charlotte

Not happy with the sandwich idea, Charlotte was glad to hear that her sister realized that it wasn't a good idea too. She smirked to herself as she thought of much better things to make with the bread and rolls. Sure she wouldn't mind a good sandwich but...she didn't like meat as much as Gurak did.

"Ok then it is settled. We will find someone to go on a quest with us. And I am glad that you atleast enjoy some of the people." She scoffed, some of the people there didn't seem so...delightful. But they weren't there to be delightful. Although that didn't mean some of them didn't deserve a good smack to the head sometimes. "Hmph, of course no one is a better sister then me. Well except for maybe you." Charlotte smirked with her head held high as she teased Abigail.

Julie: Looking at the girl, Julie wanted to help her immediately. She could heal the girl with an angels touch but that would expose her identity as an angel...or at least partially. Another issue was the fact that she had never healed actual endangered people with angels touch. Julie could never practice it on demons since she'd smite them. Angels never needed actual healing so she never knew if her healing was actually working when she used them to practice. Another issue is the fact that Celica is human. What if she put too much power into it, smiting the girl and everyone around into oblivion? Would this healing even work in the first place? There were a lot of questions she needed answers for.

Isabel: The situation was both weird and grim. Were these people trying to guilt them into staying by goring a little girl? Isabel couldn't tell with these people anymore, she definitely wanted out. Before that, they at least had to heal this young victim of this ordeal. Celica had to answer for acting so strange towards her servant, even putting her hands on him was enough reason to incite interrogation. All she needed was angels touch and then divine detox. Julie was a bit hesitant on doing this so it was up to the older sibling in the end. Isabel reaches out and plants the tip of her fingers on Celica's forehead, performing angels touch. There was no flashy lights or sound but within an instant, Celica's wounds were healed. Due to the amount of divinity flowing within her body was dangerous, especially for a young human. That being said, Celica wouldn't be waking up for a while. "We're taking the girl with us. She owes us answers and this place is far too dangerous for her. Vance, carry her. She told you not to leave her, after all. She's consented to us taking custody." Isabel wouldn't dare mention Celica needed divinity detox swiftly, at least not in front of these people. They wouldn't know what angels touch is but would have an idea if she mentioned divinity.

Julie: Things happened at a fast rate. First she was hesitant, then Isabel took charge, now they were leaving with the girl. As she watched her sister walk off the ship and walk towards the nearest town, Julie couldn't help but follow. ( GingerBread GingerBread HTCOR HTCOR TheImmortalDeity TheImmortalDeity )

As soon as Isabella touched Celica, there was a moment of tenseness- before the wounds began to close, most of the shrapnel thankfully out of the wounds already. Stone green orbs watched her for a few moments, ready to open his mouth and give a word of gratitude- then she spoke first. Her words were not kind, nor were they accurate. Contrary to popular belief, he did have a small education, even if it was different than what most people had.

One of those things was how to decipher someone.

It only took a moment for the world to become sharper, the colors popping out more, as his senses kicked into overdrive- funny, how his magic worked. It was barely noticeable unless he intended to do something flashy. But his feet shifted, as he moved back ever so slightly- just out of Vance's reach. Already he was in prime positioning to get moving out of the way.

"No more dangerous than going with a mercenary without restraint, and the one who holds his leash. Nor do I believe the delirious are able to think coherently." There wasn't any contempt in his voice, nor any hatred- just pity. His eyes didn't seem to be settling upon one place, as they flicked back and forth between the trio, and his ears twitched every couple of seconds.

Oddly enough, to Celica, she felt something strange overcome her- the warmth of one's soul- a feeling which couldn't be described with words, except like the feeling of a mother's embrace. But the distinctness of the soul felt more like...a cabin long lost, in a snowy region. She could feel the warmth of the fireplace, the smell of the pine burning, and even the crackling of the flames.

But back in reality...there was a determined set to Alister's jaw, as he was ready to move upon the first motion towards him. Hopefully Ryder and Oden got close enough for him to back away before the carnage got too bad.

Vance was more than happy to be leaving the guild. But just as they were all about to depart, some girl grabbed onto his cloak, and started practically begging him not to leave her before collapsing. Vance had no idea who this girl even was, and wasn't about to try to stay at the guild for her. The fact that she seemed to be injured didn't bother Vance one bit, as again, he had no idea who she was. Though before he could do anything about the girl, Alister, who was scowling at him not a moment before, made his way behind him and picked her up. Alister then asked Isabel and Julie if they could help Celica.

Vance looked over at Julie and Isabel, both of them looking like they were considering helping the injured girl in Alister's arms. Vance then watched as Isabel healed Celica. He was then mildly surprised as Isabel told him to carry the girl, since they were going to take her with them. He wasn't fully behind the Idea, as he didn't really want to take someone from the guild with them. He wanted nothing to do with the Guild, now or in the future. But, he didn't have a choice in the matter; Vance shrugged and decided he'd better hurry up with the technical kidnapping of the girl, as Isabel and Julie were already starting to leave.

Alister then decided to make his day that much more difficult, by moving away from him. Vance figured this was some sort of payback for taking his weapons moments before. Vance stared at the man as he spoke, noting that he looked jumpy and ready to run.. with the girl in his arms.
"I'll assume that Mercenary comment is directed at me. Two things about that, Not a Mercenary.. and are you forgetting that I didn't just kill you earlier? I get that everyone in this guild is some sort of stupid. But I didn't think you guys forgot things so fast. How do you get anything done?" Vance paused for a second. "That was a rhetorical question by the way. I don't actually care"

Vance's face took on a more serious expression, though his posture was still relaxed.
"Anyway. Because I'm oh so nice, I'll give you a choice. You can either give me the girl. Or, if you'd prefer, I can kill you both right here. Oh, and before you think about fleeing. If you do run away, I'll just burn down the guild and kill whoever's in it. So, what's it going to be?" As Vance spoke, he was taking note of his surroundings; There were a lot of people around currently, and the more that tried to stop him or get in his way, the more shadows he'd have to work with to stop Alister, or potentially kill him. "And because I'm feeling so nice, I'll give you three seconds to decide again." Vance knew that Alister had a gun and some sort of melee weapon, so he was prepared to deal with either. Though He figured that Alister probably wouldn't put the girl down to be able to use his weapons.

Ryan Silverthorne
Ryan Silverthorne.png
Lovely, the cloaked stranger was one of those pricks who believed to be better than everyone else. Pleasant. Ryan rolled his eyes and began to walk away, but as he was about to go inside the guild, the girl he had brought to that sassy healer had dashed out and caused a scene. Ryan watched as everything started going into overdrive, the aggression rising, and it looked like a brawl was going to occur any minute now. Yet the guild master watched the whole thing go down without a single word to stop it. Was his sanity and life worth the fight to ensue? No. It wasn't. Not even vaguely worth it.

The guild was a disgrace. The members were aimlessly violent air heads. This stranger was an arrogant prick, along with the girl who had healed Celica. To top it all off, Ryan was there to witness it all, and he didn't care for any of it. Yet here he was, stuck in the middle of it all. As much as he hated the whole situation, he didn't have much choice. It was technically his fault Celica was in the condition she was earlier, and therefore he had to repay the favor, even if it meant his life was the cost. "I fucking hate all of you..."

Walking over to the group, he spoke loud enough so that everyone could hear, lowering his volume as he got closer so he wasn't yelling in anyone's ears. "You know, I really hate this guild. It's leader is a joke, its members are violent air heads, and its the worst of all the guilds around. I should have left when I had the chance, but of course, the loyal idiot I am stuck around. You know what though? That's fine, I can live with being a loyal idiot, at least it keeps my life interesting." He finally reached Alister and took a few steps to be in front of him, facing Vance and Isabel, darting his eyes between the two of them. "That being said, this loyal idiot doesn't care if you're better than us. I don't care if you're a fucking god of some sort, but living here means you get over your royal bitching, and get shit done. So you don't like us, boo fucking hoo, get over yourself. What better are you? Just a couple of snobs stomping around acting like you own the fucking place? Sorry but that shit ain't gonna fly. This is our home, she is our guest, and regardless of what you think is fair or right, she's staying here until she's awake."

He felt he had gotten the most of his anger out, but he knew for certain the hooded man was going to mock him. "Now if anyone has an issue with being civil, feel free to continue your fucking bloodbath." He turned around and took Celica from Alister's arms, "I'm taking her back to the infirmary where she should be, and waiting till she wakes up to answer a few damn questions." He could care less what anyone had to say about him right now, all that mattered is that he had a debt to pay to Celica, and he'd risk his life if it meant he'd complete the task.
Now if anyone has an issue with being civil, feel free to continue your fucking bloodbath.
Ryan

It wouldn't take a moment for Celica to be relinquished out of his arms, before he skirted Ryan in a protective motion. Within his hands were the handles to both his parrying dagger and pistol, ripped out of their holsters with ease, the parrying dagger flipped into an upright motion with ease. It spoke of experience, as his attention never left Vance. His first move was to use his thumb to cock back the hammer in the drawing motion, cycling the shot to the first round.

But for now, he didn't make a move to attack. He seemed to be patient, waiting for something- a sign of sorts- for his first shot to echo out. It would be quick, ugly, and brutal in this fight.

And by Vance's attitude, he was cocky enough to make that sign appear. Alister was almost eager- he was hoping that Vance knew the first and second rules of fighting, at least. But that hope was almost gone, as Vance proved otherwise.

No point in wasting breath. None at all. Vance would make his move, and then Alister would make his. And after that, Vance would do his next- so on and so forth...but the second that Vance slipped up in an ever so vital way, the fight would be over.

Vance sighed as Ryan came and starting attempting to talk shit before taking Celica from Alister. He was about to go after the man, as he figured he'd have a vastly easier time catching, and beating the crap out of Ryan than he would've with Alister. But before he'd even made a move he heard, and noticed out of the corner of his eye, Alister cocking his gun. Vance looked back over at Alister, his face just as serious as it was before. 'Fantastic' Vance glared at the man pointing a gun at him. "You know, I thought I took that off of you" Vance made a mild passive aggressive jab at Julie, as she was the one who decided it was a good idea to give the man his weapons back.

Vance kept his eye trained on Alister as he began speaking to Ryan.
"Oi, Fuck Face. You can try to tell me all about how you retards act here. But guess what? I don't give a single fuck. I'm not staying here, I'm not even a part of your Special little family here. And I don't care if your a loyal little dog to this group. But I'll tell you how I'm better." Vance paused for a second, and took a quick, split second glance around the area. "I'm not the one putting a little girl's life in danger. Now, I'm sure you heard what I told the fuck pointing a gun at me. But just in case your little brain can't remember that far back. I said, If you don't give me the girl, I'll kill her and you. That one applies to the person who's not giving her to me, just in case you're not smart enough to figure that out. And I also said, If you run away with her, along with killing her and you, I'll burn down the guild. So, what do you think is going to happen, if you run away with her? Huh, Fuck Face?"

"And You" Vance was now directing his words towards Alister, who he had been keeping his eyes on the whole time. "How well do you think this is going to go for you if you shoot me? Because let me warn you now. If that bullet leaves that gun, You better make damn sure it kills me, maybe shoot more than one if you're not confident" Vance's voice had a more serious edge to it as he spoke. He glared at the man pointing the gun at him; He looked Alister directly in the eyes as he put both of his arms out to the side. "Come on, I'm an open target. You gonna pussy out?" Vance figured he had pretty good odds of dodging the bullet, if Alister did happen to feel that the risk of shooting at him was worth taking.

Jayn listened as Natalia said she should just go get a job and turned around and flailed her arms in the air as she spoke, "LOOK AROUND YOU NATALIA, WE'RE ISOLATED AND ALONE ON A FREAKING ISLAND! WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GET A JOB- OH WAIT I FORGOT I HAVE ONE AT THIS PLACE CALLED THE ORDER AND IT SUCKS BECAUSE WE NEVER GET ANY FREAKING JOBS TO GET MORE MONEY!" Jayn then huffed and collapsed on the floor as she wallowed in self-pity, 'I came to this island with thousands of dollars, why did i spend all my money in the first month on ordering bullets? Better yet, WHERE ARE MY FREAKING BULLETS!'

It was then that Jayn heard Maria pledge herself to helping with her financial problems, which caused Jayn to sit up with a wide smile and stand up, running up to Maria, "Really?! You'll help me out even though I clearly attempted to scam you out of all your cash- *ahem* I mean, it is as Natalia said, this entire exchange was a prank that me and Natalia set up together. I will now do the official acceptance ceremony of the Order." Then, without warning and without thinking, Jayn took out her revolver and aimed it just past Maria's shoulders and fired, causing a loud ringing sound that Jayn heard and instantly caused her to recoil as she realized she might've just deafened Maria...oh well! The new person being deaf wasn't her problem as long as she got payed! "There! You're now an official member of the Order, now empty your pockets!"

EN GARDE, JAYN!" With that, Maria rushed at her new "opponent", lashing out with a diagonal strike to start the duel.
wbOMPA486G7IgAAAABJRU5ErkJggg.png
The next few moments was enough for Natalia. First it was Jayn's yelling and poor attitude towards the guilds reputation. It true that the guild isn't doing much, but with that attitude it wont change much. Natalia shakes her head towards Jayn as she first flopped to the ground. Then Maria got to talking, each word made her seem more and more naive. Everyone cant be pleased, and yet she still tries. Natalia's mind started to wonder and her eyes started to drift. She look around the guild just eyeing things. She spotted Ryder walking with a girl, and a new coming speaking to Gurak. It wasn't until she heard a gun shot when she snapped her head back towards them two. For some reason Jayn thought it was okay for her to fire a gun right near some ones ear. Once she lowers it she grabs a hold of the gun. While making contact with the gun, she willed the gun to be placed on safety. "The hell is wrong with you Jayn?!" She asked in anger. Soon she noticed Maria charging for Jayn. Natalia's grip on the gun moved to Jayn's wrist and she pulled her out of the way, while at the same time kicking Maria's sword out of her hand. "Maria I suggest you don't go down that road. It might end badly."

Pandora

Pandora was nervous. Perhaps it was because she was afraid of the giant ball of fire in the sky, or the unsafely placed cobblestones that would lead to her tumbling death, or even the odd monster attack - or just a combination of all three. However, she was driven by necessity - her stores of dynamite were running out, and she had to find one of the only manufacturers on the whole island to resupply. Regardless, she did not want to be walking along this horribly dangerous path from the guild. It was truly a blessing in disguise, then, that she wasn't armed and rigged with explosives and traps in her usual manner. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a nervous, jittery girl traveling down the path - it would be little bits of a nervous, jittery girl and a large red stain scattered along that path.

Then, of course, two other girls showed up just over the horizon. Great. People. If there was anything that could make Pandora feel even more vulnerable right now, it was the presence of any other living organism. Oh no. What if they're murderers? I could die here, now that I think about it... With that, Pandora quickly dove towards a bush, before slowing down and shuffling in just in case there were thorns. While Abigail and Charlotte continued their walk, she kept panicking. Even a small cut could get infected and kill her and that wasn't even counting the possibility of some poisonous plant and - UGH! Go away! Pandora could only fume internally and glare at the passing girls, hoping they would get lost and stop talking about some weird "Gurak" dude and sandwiches.

And then a light breeze picked up.

It wasn't much - just enough to shift a branch over an inch or two, and let a small, prickly leaf brush against Pandora's neck. "ARGHHOLYSHITGETITEOFFGETITOFF GET IT OFF!!!" With an unnecessarily loud scream and lots of flailing, she leapt out of the bush and violently beat every last bit of leaf off her back, before realizing that she was in the open now and turning a very bright shade of I'm-gonna-commit-suicide-by-explosion red. darkslateblueI'm gonna die, huh? This is where it ends... With an almost inhuman growl, Pandora quickly unlimbered one of her last traps, slipping out the spring mechanism and holding it out like some sort of sharp, metal claw. "S-stay back! I'm warning you, Mr. Trap here will shred you to pieces! Isn't that right, Mr. Trap? Sic 'em!" With that, she threw Mr. Trap at them, its metal jaws flapping harmlessly in the air as it sailed for any other target but the girls.

Zane O'Conner
Zane nodded his head. "Yeah I'm the new meat as were about to put it. My name is Zane, and I haven't even meet the leader yet. Is he that ba..." Zane stopped mid sentence as he heard a gun shot.He looks back at the entrance seeing a half naked red head taking somewhat taking control of situation. Zane then looks back towards Gurak. "Does shit like that happen after?"
