Alister

13878af64d6bf0aab1b3eff51bfe1262.jpg

  • Tagging: Light Light GingerBread GingerBread

    Mentioned
    Vance, Isabelle, Julie

    Location

Outside the Guild Hall, near the docks.

Upon the freshly cut grass of uneven height, Alister mused for a few moments, counting who was outside, and making sure there wasn't anyone inside to view the carnage of the Guild's best members fighting- it would be ugly otherwise, if someone got caught up in that ugly mess. He'd take a moment to look around, a faint smirk forming on his face as he locked onto Celica and Viktor- his head perking up as he heard the words from the Russian. He'd allow Ryan his moment, however- no need to allow the anti-socialite to have his moment- he could introduce himself as one of the primary guild members later. At least Ryan wasn't one of them. That would be bad- honestly, even their resident librarian was better, and they couldn't find her most of the time.

His eyes drifted on, looking down towards the docks, and the people approaching. He'd wave to the trio getting closer, before walking inside. He'd note the duo revving towards each other, before carefully walking past Sede and his lethal kicks. His feet carried him up the stairs, moving to the end of the hallway- and started to get his gear on, as to ensure it wasn't lost in the wreckage downstairs, in case his room had to be replaced. "If only they could take their fights outside...this way there wouldn't be as much carnage." He'd grumble, irked by Sede's choice in location. He'd be able to get dressed within the minute- just opening up his window, and hopping out onto the grass in front. His impact was lessened by a roll, and helped by the fact that this building wasn't horridly big.

His features schooled themselves as his hands ran through his hair once more. Brushing it back, and to the side in a strange style to make it seem nice, as he checked his revolver, and even his falcata. He preferred not to keep his gear all split around, as he walked down to the docks, intending to greet anyone there. But first, he'd start with a quick bow of the head to Vance, Isabelle, and Julie.

"Hello, don't enter the Guild Hall right now- it isn't the most safe venture...and welcome to the Order's Location. Nice to meet you three."

Celica
"Viktor? That's a nice name. If you weren't-" Before Celica could voice her question, Ryan had bluntly interrupted her, placing himself into their conversation with a bland and sudden appearance. She wasn't against his introduction, however. Instead, she would take the moment to think over where Vance could've been. It was common sense that The Order was the worst of the twenty-seven, and you would be considered mad to ever think of visiting it, let alone join it. In fact, that brought up another question. Why was Viktor here, too? It wasn't like he had anything to gain from just visiting this shabby and old guild. She was, after all, only there for Vance.

Turning to Ryan, she would note his appearance. He was rough around the edges, looking very gruff and wild, almost like a dog. He seemed human enough and kind to boot. She could only assume that the guild members would be open to newcomers, especially when you considered their position. Though her mind was filled with thought, she didn't take even a moment to say any of it, making sure not to look directly at Ryan when introducing herself. "Celica Hendrickson," she would practically whimper, noting that she didn't very much like being put on the spot. She had enough attention as it was with her abilities and all.

"Who are those two, anyway?" she would ask, pointing towards the window where the two 'nutcases' were now having an all-out brawl in. She found the duo odd, since, if she wasn't mistaken, one of them was the leader of the entire guild. So why were they fighting, exactly? She heard the one in the chair screaming, but then got distracted by Viktor, who seemed a bit lonely. It only just started to dawn on her that if she joined this guild, then she'd have to deal with them the entire time. Ah, the hardships she has to bear in order to meet her brother. When was he going to be here, anyway? She has waited so long for his return, after all.

Viktor Rasputin

Viktor scowled, as another Guild goer came up to him and the girl. Now he was expected to join this thing, which he wouldn't do. "Sorry to disappoint, but I am not joining. Thanks for the help girl." He turned his back to the two, and made his way down the busy street...

Ryan Silverthorne & Bell IMG_0890.png
The girl, Celica, was curious as to who Ryder and Sede were, regrettable... as for the pale man, he was evasive. "The spinning maniac is Sede and the idiot about to get hit is his friend and former partner Ryder. Ryder is also the current leader of our guild of misfits and losers." As their third friend started to leave, he grabbed his shoulder, "Slow down there Russian... don't you know it's impolite to ignore a greeting?" Ryan didn't actually care about if he got a proper greeting or not, but such evasive behavior was a red flag, and Ryan wasn't going to let this guy go free without reassurance. "Hey Bell, can you fetch the Russian's name for me?"

kitten_heartless_by_neotokyo9.jpg A jingle sounded and an adorable cat who's head was much too large for her body appeared. She also had a giant bell attached to a collar. "Sorry Ryan, but it only works if they give me permission. I told you that when I linked to you." Ryan sighed, "To think you could have been useful... damned cats." Bell giggled, and looked up at Celica, "Hi! I'm Bell! Nice to meet ya!" This was a sight that would surprise any member who knew Ryan. After all, he was extremely secretive of his thoughts and memories, and if they saw him with this strange cat that bound itself to willing hosts... that would be something.

Ryder
To Ryder, the initial hit felt little more than a small 'thump', Sede's kick only moving him slightly, even with his foot slammed through the floorboard. As to the rest of the guild members, however, it was similar to a man standing around and then getting hit by a train at full speed, the force itself exerting enough pressure to break all of the glass windows to one side of the building. Ryder, who could feel his arm locking underneath the force, kept his coy little grin, glaring Sede directly into his eyes. "It seems I win this round," he would say, having a tight grip on the man's foot, since Ryder's free hand had gotten a hold of it.

Using leverage, the guild leader would attempt to yank Sede right out of his chair and onto the floor, a triumphant regard to his posture. "Now look what you've done!" Ryder would yell, now beginning to scold the spinning addict. "You know how much those damn windows cost? A fortune, I tell you. I can't ask Ryan to pay for the guild's expenses anymore, Sede! He's going to go on an annoying rant about how I am just using him for his money, and we all know that I hate it when he does that. It's not like either of us has any money, either-" just as he was about to continue, an idea sparked inside his head. "Unless, of course, we give those new recruits a good mission to take up as their introduction to the guild."

Anyone Anyone

Celica
The young girl was about ready to complain. She had her own arm stretched out, only to have Ryan beat her to the punch. It wasn't as much rudeness in her eyes as it was feeling sorry for Viktor. It pained her to watch him sulk around by himself, even if she had only just met the man a few minutes back. Something about him just made her want to take care of him like he was a lost puppy of some sorts. Of course, she wasn't going to say this out loud, not wanting to take the chance of embarrassing herself any further than she already had, but at least she now had a reason behind her attached behavior. Finding it within herself to finally voice herself, she was about to state her reasonings, only to be interrupted once more.

Instead of someone else interrupting her, it was the shattering of glass that did precisely that. Now, mind you, Celica is anything but fast. In fact, she is quite sluggish for a girl her age, but when she saw that Ryan was directly in the path of a bunch of sharp objects barreling at him, she was able to react just as quickly as any human with enough adrenaline would. With as much force as she could muster, she had shoved the wolfish man back and away from Viktor, forcing him to let go of the man in time to save him. Sadly, the same didn't apply to the one that saved him.

The broken shards were effective. Cutting through various parts of her skin like butter, she could feel herself losing strength. The gashes were deep enough for blood to be pouring out at an alarming rate all around her body, dripping on the not-so-neatly cut grass. If she wasn't mistaken, some of the shards were sticking inside of her, only prolonging the pain that was erupting from her small and frail body. Falling onto her back, her body twitched, each part of her curling back in agony as she tried her best not to cry. Even when in agony, she was still proud of herself. Better off her being hurt rather than someone who is more useful to the guild, after all.

Viktor Rasputin

percy_by_kupieckorzenny-daeiq5g.jpg

The wild-looking man was quite off-putting to Viktor, and expecially now that he was pressing for his name. And the flying cat creature didn't help. "Don't you know it's impolite to yank someone from leaving?" His cold accent filled with uneasy rage, if he was in private, the man's fangs would be barred. But just as he was about to let the boy have it, the sound of broken glass filled his ears. The world slowed around him, as he watched the girl he met push the boy out of the way, in the process her skin was lacerated by the rouge shards...

Without thinking, Viktor threw the girl over his shoulder, and looked at the boy who she had saved. "Get your ass moving!" He wasn't going to watch another child die, and he didn't care what it may have looked like to the retched Guild people. Taking a hard left down the street, he could hear the distant sound of the boy, but Viktor might be given himself away. He knew he was running fast, but to a mortal it may not even be visible.

Shortly he arrived at the small hotel room he was staying in, which could only hold around 3 people. Setting the girl gently on the bed, ignoring the succulent smell of her blood.

Ryan & Bell IMG_0890.pngSon of a bitch! As Ryan hit the ground, Celica on top of him, he was about ready to kill Sede and Ryder before Celica and the Russian were gone, blood being left all over the place. Looking through the windows he was about ready to start cursing up a storm, but more important matters were at hand. That girl was dying, and a strange Russian man had taken her quicker than he could react, away from medical help. He better hope I find her alive or I'll rip him to shreds myself! Bell had disappeared, but her voice pierced the Beastborn's mind. Are you okay Ryan? Your mind is going nuts... it's kinda scary. He did NOT have time for this. SHUT UP AND LET ME HUNT HIM DOWN! A quick look towards where the blood trail went was more than enough for Ryan to track. "I'm gonna kill you for this you fucking morons!" He made sure he was more than loud enough for Sede and Ryder to hear, his anger had spiked to a new limit for Ryan, one that in most cases would have turned him feral form. He took off at full speed in the direction of the Russian and Celica, completely ignoring the safety of anyone that came in his way.

Shit like this is why we're looked down on by everyone else. Our leader has no sense of responsibility and our S-Class member is a S-Class psychopath. No wonder everyone left these two bastards to rot on their own in this forsaken guild. Again the cat pushed her way into his thoughts, But... they're not always like this are they? Surely they aren't that bad? Of course they were, and now he had a third person to add to his list of untrustworthy people... the Russian. He had more than likely ran halfway through the town by now, and most people would be beyond exhausted. Unfortunately he couldn't say he wasn't exhausted, this form's stamina wasn't as good as his feral form, but switching for something so minor would be more harmful to everyone compared to just a few people. Damned girl, she should know better than to throw her life away for a fucking stranger. Hell, I've got the best chance of everyone to survive Sede and Ryder's shit!

Finally he had reached where the trail seemed to end and burst through the doors. Of course the patrons were shocked to see a very angry and snarling man looming through the entrance. Especially one that looked as if he was ready to gut anyone who looked at him the wrong way. Nobody dared get in Ryan's way as he quickly but calmly, if you can call it calm, walked up to the door that he was looking for. There was blood. "Hey you damned Russian! Who the hell do you think you are running off with a bloody girl?! Do you realize how far we are from an infirmary? You better damn well get your ass moving back to the fucking guild so she can be taken care of or have some fucking medical experience. I'm about ready to gut you if you don't start moving or explaining yourself because frankly, I don't like you and with how suspicious you've been acting since I first saw you, I have more than enough reason to hunt you down until you're dead!" Bell appeared between Ryan and the Russian and giggled nervously, "Please don't take anything he says to heart, he's just really worried is all, I promise!"

Viktor Rasputin

percy_by_kupieckorzenny-daeiq5g.jpg

Without hesitation Viktor pulled his pack from the dresser, and fumbled through for his medical supplies, when the boy burst through, temper raging. Which didn't help his temper. He turned his head to the boy, this time not afraid to bear his fangs. "I'm going to make this quick for your little mind to understand! I'm over one hundred years old and I can help this girl! I'm not going to watch idly as this girl dies, and i'm sure as hell not going to let you to be the one to stop me!" Viktor set his glasses down on the dresser, and quickly inspected the girl. She had deep lacerations, as well as glass petruding from her. Quickly removing his leather gloves, revealing the one hand ingulfed in his burn scar. "Now, if you would be of help, get some hard liquor. Vodka would be best. And a good amount of towels and bandaging."

Viktor quickly pulled out a thin needle, as well as a long spool of medical string. He hoped that the boy would do as he said, for the girls sake...

Celica
Celica's body felt sore, and from the way Viktor had yanked her from the ground and starting going at abnormal speeds, she was finding it difficult to breathe, too. She knew it looked bad, hell, it was her own body, but the fuss these two were making was practically uncalled for. Sure, she might have a bit of bruising, maybe even a scar here or there, but it was nothing to be too worried about. It isn't like she put herself in mortal danger, right? Well, she wasn't completely convinced. The impact of Sede's kick had sent the shards spiraling fast enough to be considered bullets to most people. She was very lucky to have not been pierced in any vital organs since most of it went into her left side.

Either way, the wounds were more than enough to keep her uncomfortable. It both awed and terrified her to think that the weakest and most shunned of the guilds were still able to pull things like this off, even if she was at the brunt of the attack this time. It was a refresher, though. She was doubtful of why Vance had bothered to come to this location, given her methods of obtaining that information were sketchy, but now she could see that the guild was somewhat befitting of a man of his stature. It would be more shameful if they couldn't produce results like this.

With all that said and done, it still hurt. She could hardly move, some of her nerves having been punctured by a good few bits of glass, leaving her arm tingly and weak. Her breathing was getting harsher by the second, the pounding in her head obscuring her focus. The shouting wasn't helping, either. The overly-dramatic situation was getting to her, making her want to speak out, but then she realized she couldn't. It wasn't that she didn't want to, but she actually couldn't. A piece of glass was wedged into her neck, deep enough to where moving her throat, swallowing for example, but not enough to be putting her in any grave danger. Choking a bit out of fear, the wound wasn't nearly bad as it looked, but it was much more terrifying than anything else. With a horrified look, she would watch the two bicker, the tears finally welling up in her eyes.

Ryan Silverthorne IMG_0890.png
Ryan was still beyond furious, and nowhere near done yelling at the Russian, but thank the gods he was being useful. "Bell, get her permission and start yapping what she wants to say." Bell nodded and hopped up beside Celica, yet she was weightless due to her form, so the only odd thing was this strange shadowy cat speaking to Celica through her mind. Ryan on the other hand went back to the front. His anger left him very loud, loud enough to be heard. "Excuse me but I need your strongest liquor and bandages... now!" Moments later he returned with just that. "No vodka, but this is as strong as you'll get." He placed the bottle of liquor and bandages on the table beside the Russian and leaned against the doorway, glaring at the ground beneath his feet. "I appreciate the brave act kid, but don't do it again... ever. That's how you get yourself killed. It's not your fault though, Sede and Ryder are damned lunatics, it's a surprise the guild hasn't been destroyed by them already." He was silent for a fee moments before speaking up once more, "Sorry about the outburst Russian. I still don't trust you, but at least you're not completely stupid unlike the oldest guild members."

Bell kitten_heartless_by_neotokyo9.jpg Upon Ryan giving the order, Bell invaded Celica's mind. Sorry about coming into your head uninvited but this is kind of the only way I can hear you since... Her voice cut off for a moment before picking up once more, Anyway, I'll leave if you don't want me in your head, but listen to what I have to say first. Ryan isn't as bad ad he seems, and he's angry more because he's worried for you than he is simply being angry. He also knows that you probably want to say something, but you can't right now. If you give me permission, I can be your voice. I need to warn you though, if you agree I'll be able to read your mind as you think, and I'll recall your memories as if their my own if you think of that specific memory. You can restrict me from whatever parts of your mind if you don't want me there, but if I see a justifiable reason I'll do whatever it takes to stop you from doing something we'll all regret. With that said... is it okay if I stay and speak for you? Although the girl may not realize it, Bell had a soft smile on her cat face. Neither Ryan or the Russian could hear her and they wouldn't hear Celica speak herself.

Viktor Rasputin

percy_by_kupieckorzenny-daeiq5g.jpg

As Viktor waited for the boy to return, he turned his attention to the girl as the odd cat began to float towards her. "This will hurt. That's why the kid is getting achohal, for disinfecting and for you to try to drink." Being as gentle as he could, he began to pull the shards out, then stitching them up before moving to the next. He had gotten about 3 done before the boy came back with what he needed. Grabbing the liquor from the boy, he ripped off his neck scarf, then drenched it in the achohal. Dabbing it gently on each of the stitched cuts, then setting the scarf back on the bed to sew the next. "Do not chastise me boy, ever heard of respect your elders?" Though the words were stern, they were light-hearted. Carefully dabbing the newest stitch, he continued. "Your not the first to yell at me, so your alright. Your cat thing will be helpful though, because her vocal chords won't be fully healed for awhile. If she was a vampire though it would only be a day." Moving to her neck next, he began to repeat the same process.

Vance moved his hands closer towards his dagger; He sped up his pace slightly to get in front of Isabel as he noticed a man leap from one of the guild windows, and check his weapons as he came towards them. As the man 'welcomed' them and warned them of danger within the guild, Vance raised an eyebrow.
"And why would there be any danger within the guild? It wouldn't by chance have something to do with you, would it?" He was suspicious of the man, and was just waiting for him to try something. "If that's all you wanted to say though, you can fuck off and go annoy someone else"

Only a moment later, Vance heard the sound of glass exploding outwards from the guild hall, and someone screaming that they were going to kill someone. All of this, Vance assumed was something to do with the man in front of him. He unsheathed his dagger, while keeping his eye trained on the man ahead of him.
"Alright, So I'm gonna give you three seconds to tell me what that was. If you lie to me, or try anything, it won't end well for you. Got it?" Vance was ready if the man in front of him tried something. "Time is running out, better hurry"

As the threat rolled in, Alister gave a quick glance to the spellsword- it took courage otherwise to challenge a man of his size, if they were otherwise. He'd roll his eyes, before explaining in a short sentence. "Guild master is dueling an old rival." After that, the man crossed his arms, looking faintly irritated. His expression being calm, as most of his emotions seemed muted. Even his aura and soul were forged from uncaring steel, to the mana-sensor.

"They fight every once in a while, and one hits hard enough to shatter most metals, while the other can endure most hits, if they have a moment to prepare. So calm down before you get paranoid. And keep those two safe from the leader- he'll admire them from afar, or even up close."

With that, he turned to look at the rest of the people disembarking. He wondered if there was anyone else akin to him coming.

Isabel: Once the creepy dude inspecting his weapons approached them, Isabel was on guard. Vance had taken the lead with pressing questions, honestly giving the man a chance to explain himself. Honestly, Isabel was both angry and ready to fight. Where she comes from, brandishing a weapon while facing someone is the same as a threat with intent to carry it out. Not attacking immediately and letting this fool get away with threatening her felt like dishonoring her name.

Julie: Alister's answer still left Julie with questions. What kind of guild were they walking into? She also wanted to know exactly who he was and if he'd apologize for the threat. Vance is human and he doesn't threaten those he meets. Then again, Vance was raised around them. Was every human like this, threatening anyone they can? This world was strange and left a bad taste in Julie's mouth. The man didn't even give them his own name when challenging them. She didn't like the mortal layer already. She wasn't angry at Alister like her sister, but a face of discontent was apparent. ( GingerBread GingerBread HTCOR HTCOR )

While the two women decided to look upset with him, or rather one brimming with fury, the other irritation, Alister's apathy simply caused to wash over him. To him, the threat he was didn't registers let alone even mark himself as standing out. He was a dreg of society after all.

It would take a few noments of observation before he stepped to the side, absentmindedly remembering they existed. Stones of greenish coloration looked at them for a few moments, finally noting their opinions.

A snort escaped him, as people assumed. Especially since he didn't feel like they even bothered to think past two feet- yet that opinion stuck to himself. His facade wouldn't drop among these heirs to power.

"Seems I have more people to not deal with. And more firewood to chop. Hm. Almost forgot about that."

His last remark was almost after the fact, as his tone was bored, and geninuely reminding himself about the firewood. His sigh wasn't faked either, as his mod plummeted. Godlings. There were bound to be some here- and these three reeked of being them. Had the temper to match. Maybe Hades and Erebus.

His weapons hung at his sides, as his fingers played with a greenish marble of energy along his fingertips, the soul made manifest. This helped his body ease, as he kept a wary eye on them.

"Anyways...if any of you need me for some forsaken reason, I would be Alister. Yes, that is a family name. Not a first. And from the girlie's look on her face, we can just avoid each other as to not deal with each other. Most likely easier that way."

The young maiden, Natalia, was fast asleep in her room. She was currently resting from a long journey the day before. It wasn't until she heard a loud explosion; she woke up. Being furious that she was woken up from her rest, she quickly gets out her bed and leaves her room. Note that she's only wearing a sports bra, short shorts, and pink slippers. "WHO'S MAKING ALL THST GOD DAMN NOISE!!!" She yelled as she stomped down the stairs. Upon reaching the first floor, she looks around to find the ones responsible. It didn't take her long to realize the Sedenand Ryder was responsible for waking her up. She lets out a huff, takes off both her slippers, then hurls one at Sede, and the other at Ryder. "What the hell is wrong with you nitwits?!?" She asked as she marched over towards them. "For two wannabe guild leaders, you sure don't take the guild building into consideration when you decide to HAVE A LITTLE PETTY FIGHT INSIDE!!" Natalia paused and takes a deep breath. Looking at the two her anger started to rise again but she managed to keep it under control. "Now we all know that I love a good fight, but not too the point it destroys the damn guild. So now for now on, you too shit bags will have your little rivalry fights outside like normal fucking people. Understand??" She asks as she folds her arms. If Natalia had to be honest, she was mainly angry at the fact she was woken up, than about the guild hall being destroyed. Though luckily she played it off correctly. "So the leader of the guild just blows up the building every so often? Are you trying to make this place sound worse than it already is?" Vance's narrowed his eyes as the man warned him to keep Isabel and Julie 'safe' from the leader. "Was that a threat? Because for your sake It had better not have been." Vance was ready to kick the crap out of the guy, and was just waiting for any excuse to do so. He quickly glanced back at Isabel and Julie, who both seemed unhappy with the man, Isabel more so than Julie. "Oh, you have firewood to chop? Are you the guilds little errand boy? The little bitch they get to do everything they don't want to?" Vance quickly glanced down to Alister's hands he started doing something with some sort of energy thing; Vance was just making sure that it wasn't some sort of attack

"Yeah, I'll give you a shout if I see any weeds that need pulling up. I'm sure you do a shit job, so I bet there'll be a lot." Vance started to lower his dagger, but didn't intend to put it back into its sheath just yet. "Here's a little tip, if you do something well once, you won't have to do it again. Though you're probably trying your best already, aren't you? Oh well" Vance started walking forwards towards Alister. "Yeah.. We'll just all be going. Maybe we'll find one person in the guild who isn't useless" He purposely shoulder barged the man as he walked past him.

As soon as Vance made contact with Alister's shadow, after shoulder barging the man, barbed tendrils shot up out of it and started towards Alister's neck, arms and legs, aiming to constrict them. As the tendrils made their way towards Alister's limbs, Vance was already starting to attempt to kick the back of his knees. He was keeping his dagger at the ready to block any attack that Alister might attempt to throw at him; He was keeping an eye on both of Alister's hands just to see if he'd try to reach for his weapons, or try anything else

As soon as Vance began to move forwards, Alister did as well- intending to board the ship, and chat with the captain. However, such was not to be, as he was attacked- his mood plummeting severely once more. He wasn't able to prevent the tendrils, as he was brought to his knees- moving with the flow, as to not break his legs. He'd done such once already, and he wasn't in the mood to go to a healer again. And so he was now at Vance's mercy, a tired glance over at the shadowy figure.

"Done proving your superiority? Or can we simply move on,and get done with this, so I can go on? Or are you just going to murder me for your own want?" Came his bored drawl, as he moved to get up- not even that fast, just more so slowly but surely,
as he eyes shifted back to look at the ship. He didn't even spare Vance a look- the man not registering as noteworthy.

Serena Scarlet 175bd4051b768bd057c8b24b6b4b7309--manga-girl-manga-anime.jpgFinally the wretched boat ride was over. She had been waiting for what seemed like days to get to this guild, and now she was finally there. There was but one issue... her alchemical plants she had carefully packed were in a ruin. Now she was talking to two of the crew who were in charge of transportation of goods. "You had one job, and that was to keep these fragile plants in a safe position. Look at them! They're ruined! I doubt I can even salvage the seeds to make up for this loss. Do you have any idea what this means? For all we know somebody is going to be dying, but thanks to two sea monkeys, I can't save them. How do you feel knowing that you may have just killed someone?" One of the sailors tried to speak up, "Ma'am we're truly sorry for the inconven-" She slapped the man, "Don't apologize for failing to do your job. Instead, do your damn job and do it right." She turned and left, grabbing her staff which was leaned against the door frame as she scolded them. What a mess. On the up side, she did bring extra seeds for the garden she planned to start. Downside, she was now down 50% on supplies for potions. As she finally reached the dock, she took a deep breath and looked at the guild. "Wait... I thought this place was nice? Son of a bitch..."

The place looked like a dump, and the fact that it looked as if an explosion recently occurred didn't help at all. Everyone in sight seemed to be fine, aside from two men fighting, but then she saw the two girls and assumed it was lover related. Not interested, she'd scold whoever she had to heal later. Instead she walked up to the front door and saw the fresh blood leading into town. "What the hell kind of a guild is this?" Opening the door was fairly easy, seeing as it almost fell of its hinges, And the sight before her was... apocalyptic. "The fuck happened in here?" Two men were standing in a hall, seemingly at each others throats. What kind of guild was she getting herself into? Already she had seen so much violence and evidence that she wasn't enough to heal all the future injuries to occur. She'd solve the issue first, make sure everyone is aware of what will happen if such violence continues 24/7. "Excuse me, but are either of you Ryder Leogaire? I'm Serena Scarlet, the new guild healer."

Ryder
Not just one, but TWO beauties in the same vicinity as Ryder? That was like a dream come true for the flirt, having already forgotten about Sede completely, letting go of his leg and turning to Natalia first. "Ladies, ladies, one at a time-" He was abruptly stopped by a slipper flying straight into his face, the force more surprising than actually painful. Holding his face for a moment, he would look between the slipper and Natalia, who had started to scold him. Waiting for her to finish her rant on how useless of a leader he was, Ryder would then begin to pipe up. "B-But, Natalia! It was Sede! He started all of this by trying to kick my head off!"

Turning back to Serena, now considering this more of a pincer attack than an actual dream, the guild leader would wave to them. "Come over here, Serena. I'll show you around the guild. You'll probably want to know where the infirmary is, right?" Looking back towards the redheaded and pissed off Amazonian, Ryder would give her a goofy grin. "Also, not that I mind or anything, but are you always walking around in only that? I do have to say, it's a good look for you. Keep up the hard work, love," he would say, giving a Natalia a thumbs up and one last look over. He would then grab Serena's hand without permission, leading her away from the chaos, and most importantly, Sede.

Celica
It took Celica a moment to realize that something was speaking in her mind and another moment to realize that it was, in fact, a cat. Now, it is totally understandable for someone to be a bit skeptical of a situation where a cat appears on your death bed and offers to speak for you in return for invading your mind completely, but Celica had reached a whole new high. It wasn't like she would've gotten much out of it, the best she could say is: 'Ouch, this hurts' or 'I hate needles', so the offer wasn't very appealing. Most importantly, however, was the fact that there was a good chance she could just be losing her marbles from being in so much discomfort. Therefore, the cat was met by silence.

Hoping the cat would take the hint, fearing that if she thought anything, it'd steal her soul or something along those lines, she would glance up at Viktor, noting his concentration and concern. He seemed fairly able as a healer, neatly sewing up her wounds, cleaning them up when appropriate. She could tell something was itching the back of his mind because whether she admitted it or not, he had no reason to be helping her. Sure, she wished this wasn't the case, but seeing as they had only just met, her life was close to meaningless to him. There must've been some other driving factor to his compassion towards her. Not dwelling too much on the thought, she would tilt her neck to the side when he began working on it, giving him an easier view of what he needed to do.

Viktor Rasputin

After what felt like ages, Viktor was wrapping the last of the cuts. He had done the more painful and deadlier ones first, leaving the flesh wounds till last. But the stench of blood teased him, all over the bed, his scarf, and his own hands. Once complete, he stared at his hands for a moment, the crimson liquid drenching them. "We need to get all the blood gone. Burn the sheets, and maybe the woman who runs this inn could clean my scarf. Watch her."

Snatching his booze-soaked scarf he left the room quickly, in a hurry to wash the blood from his hands. He set the scarf down on the front desk, with a few coins, then quickly ran outside. His neck sizzled, as he frankly looked for the nearest source of water. Spotting a small pale of water, Viktor lunged at it, the cold water feeling cool on his sore hands. Without looking at the pale, he scrubbed his hands vigorously, and after a solid few minuties they were suitable.

Arriving back to his room, his sleeves still rolled, and his skin sounding like an open flame. He plopped himself down in the small chair in the corner of the room. Rolling down his sleeves, doing his scarred arm first to avoid the two kids from seeing. Once complete, he grabbed his canteen from the dresser, and took a long swig. The thick blood a lovely taste to settle his nerves. Wiping away the excess from his lips with his gloved hand, he spoke. "The girl will live. The only one i'm greatly concerned over is the one located on her neck. But we will see." Running a gloved hand through his tossed hair, he sighed, exhausted from the sun and his work.

Serena Scarlet 175bd4051b768bd057c8b24b6b4b7309--manga-girl-manga-anime.jpgWhat was this man thinking? Serena could walk on her own just fine. Yanking her hand out of his grip, she instinctively bopped him on the head with her staff, a thud easily heard. "I can follow just fine, I don't need to be lead like a puppy." She brushed herself off, as if to remove dust that wasn't present, and spoke once more. "First I want to see the infirmary and outer grounds of the guild. I want to know what I have to work with so things run smoothly..." From what she had seen so far, smoothly was far from the correct term to be using. "Also, if you have it, which you should, I need a list with every memeber's medical information. I don't want to end up poisoning anyone on accident." Something about this Ryder was irritating, was it the less than subtle flirting? Maybe so. Whatever the reason, she felt as if she should keep her staff between them just to be safe. "Well? I'm sure I've already got someone to start healing, let's get going. If not, I'll consider letting you guide me more, but don't get your hopes up."

Ryan & Bell IMG_0890.png
Ryan continued staring at the floor as he spoke, "She won't be able to talk for some time unless she sees a proper healer, and even then it will still take time..." Then Bell appeared on his shoulder and spoke aloud, "No dice Ryan, I don't think she's in a state to accept anything right now..." Ryan sighed, "At least you tried..." He finally looked up, and walked over to the girl, looking down at her. "Thanks again for the gesture of bravery, but never do it again Celica. I'm highly resistant to physical injuries, unlike you I'd have maybe a few scratches from the glass. You on the other hand... Well, you know what just happened." Bell then spoke up, "It's true, I watched someone try to stab him a few days ago! I was really worried but the knife barely did anything!" Ryan glared at the cat. "You're not helping Bell... besides, he slashed at me, not stabbed." Bell looked to the Russian, "So what's your name?"

Ryder
The staff hit with a resounding 'thunk', leaving Ryder to hold his head in agony, the only thing keeping him from screaming out being the urge to look cool in front of all the females in the room. Instead of making a fuss, he would instead let out a burst of laughs, finding that to be the best way to speak out the pain he was trying to smother out. "Don't worry about it, darling. I'll have that list done for you when Alister comes back with the rest of our new recruits. As for anyone needing healing? I doubt that to be a problem. There was a bit of damage to the guild, but I'm positive that Alister had relocated everyone before any real damage took place."

Turning back to the chef who had held his ground throughout the entire ordeal, he would give the orc a small wave. "Oi, Gurak! I'm gonna be taking our new healer out for a little stroll. I'm expecting a huge feast when I come back, ya hear? We're gonna have a huge party to celebrate the rookies who've come to join our ranks!" Lowering his hands to his side, he'd then offer his hand to Serena, gesturing to his proposition with his eyes. "It's surprisingly easy to get lost in the, err, building, so I believe it'd be best for us to stay close, don't ya think?" he would ask, ulterior motives obviously possessing his mind. He was always a sucker for the tough ones after all.

Celica
Not replying to Ryan's praise and scolding, the little girl looked away from the other two, obviously upset over something. Most likely trivial. In Celica's eyes, it was only normal for someone to go out of their way to protect someone else, even IF they had some kind of amazing power that somehow made them invulnerable to glass shards. It wasn't the matter of who could withstand it, but not take the chance, to begin with. She had no idea what kind of a person Ryan was, nor was she aware of his powers. Instead, she went with her gut feeling and expressed her protective persona by avoiding injury. Well, for him, at least.

The newly made stitches looked quite appalling to her, irritating the skin around them from the newly made piercings. She would've thought a health potion to be enough for the wounds, but there was also the fact on how those were quite costly. Assuming that the state of the guild was quite low - their ranking is that of the lowest - it was feasible to assume they were low in stock if having any at all. Still, Celica wanted to have dodged that painful experience as much as possible. She didn't express it much, but she could feel the needle moving around her skin, placing the thread through every puncture created along her body. Shifting to get into a bit more of a comfortable position, a pained visage took place of her typically sweet outlook, being more bothered by the two simply chit-chatting while she was being nursed back to health.

Vance didn't really care if the Alister cared about his threats or not; it wasn't going to deter him from doing what he was doing, just because he seemed to not care. "Yeah, I'm pretty much done. I mean, I would kill you here and now, but I assume that wouldn't look too good on me. So, I guess you get to live a little while longer. Isn't that just fantastic for you?" Vance sheathed his dagger and was about to let the man go, and let him go.. do whatever he did, garden or some crap. But before he released the man, he had an idea. "Actually, before I go.." Vance reached down, and snatched away the man's weapons; He took Alister's Falcata and Revolver. "I'll just take these" He then stepped out of the man's shadow, the tendril's disappearing as he did. "Enjoy the rest of your day"

Serena Scarlet 175bd4051b768bd057c8b24b6b4b7309--manga-girl-manga-anime.jpgSerena chuckled, "Well the pool of blood at your front door tells me otherwise. Unless that's from some animal you've recently killed." She then noticed the orc who's name was Gurak. "I see... quite the assortment of individuals. That makes my job more difficult. Race specific ailments and reactions to treatments... You're just going to make this more complicated than it needs to be huh?" Lovely, the leader was going to be a thorn in her side constantly, and she just met him. She wasn't looking forward to the situation at all.
