Fantasy The Lost Treasure of Creation

The owner of the voice could only smile sensing that she had locked in. "Now for some fun." She whispered. She grinned seeing Kier standing in the room and slowly walked out of the shadows. Fire lit the room dimly, the room was big and great with decor. "Welcome...." She paused looking at his shadow and grinned "Kier? Is it?" She asked eager to meet this human.

((Sorry for the short reply.
@Rin Nyx not sure if you want to put more up of my boss ))

Kokoro Himura
Not a kid? Kokoro looked at the boy doubtfully. He certainly looked like a kid, and her brother had gone through a similar stage where he insisted that he was all grown up. Maybe this kid was doing something similar? The tigress's expression turned to a frown at the mention of the Lost Treasure, however. "What do you need with the Treasure of Creation?" she asked, curious. Her tail flicked back and forth, as she was a little more worried now that she knew what the boy was after -- especially since it was what she was after as well. Still, she only needed one wish, so it was not necessarily a deal breaker to her if the boy was willing to share.

The elf that had helped her before spoke up now, saying something about having been summoned somewhere, and left. Kokoro sighed at the elf's departure. Well, there goes that strong ally, she thought with a frown, before turning her attention back to the winged kid. "Look ki--er, Raiquen, I don't want you getting yourself killed in there, so I'll let you come along...on one condition. If we find the lost treasure in there, I need a wish. Someone's life depends on it," she told him, giving the boy a sad smile. She then added, "My name is Kokoro Himura...do we have a deal?"

Arya Tinuviel

Location: Temple Ruins

With: Keir, Ireth, Vanathell, Pansa

There was a lot going on around her, but Arya was struggling to pay attention. The room seemed to be swirling around her, despite it being mostly darkness, and the girl was feeling nauseated. The girl was leaning heavily on her scythe, though even then she was still swaying in place, doing to best to simply not fall over. Even the liquids that had been following her were still on the ground around her, not bubbling up or displaying any hint of movement. Arya vaguely heard mention of hitting something with fire -- not something she could help with, as she had dropped her torch a long time ago, and she only had control over liquids. Not that she could have moved to help with that, in any case. I overdid it with the healing magic, she silently cursed herself for being so stupid and letting her guard down. Her knees buckled under her, and she fell to one knee, still holding on to her scythe to keep the rest of her body upright.

Putting a hand to her forehead, she willed the fogginess away, trying to be useful to the group. With a few more gasps of breath, the girl forced herself back up, her blood red eyes struggling to focus on anything in the ruins. Ireth was saying something now, about a creature being a distraction.
Wait, creature? the girl struggled to pay more attention. She had been too close to passing out, so much so that she hadn't been able to focus on anything going on previously, so she hadn't even really processed that there was a creature in the room with them. Now, however, the girl's mind was beginning to clear again, and she looked around, though she couldn't see much in the darkened room. Her left hand gripped her scythe a little more tightly as she realized that the darkness meant that she could not see her allies very clearly. "Is everyone accounted for?" she finally spoke up, doing her best to best her voice still and not give any hint of her exhaustion.

Keir Sullivan

"Yes, I am Keir," he replied to the owner of the voice, his mind a little clearer now. He got the feeling that she had been trying to influence him, but wasn't trying as hard right now. "Who are you?" The room he was in was illuminated by the orange glow of flames, and was more elaborately decorated than the rest of the temple, with murals covering the walls and detailed columns circling the room. Recalling the lack of rubble approaching this room, he thought it might be a newer, or at least better maintained, area. Suddenly, as he was thinking back, he wondered if his companions were okay. There was a monster, right? He thought. Wait... Ireth said something about it being a diversion? A diversion for what - oh. He suddenly realized that it may have been the owner of the voice's intention the entire time to draw him away. He had given in too easily. He silently cursed at his stupidity and weakness, but couldn't help but worry that the damage had already been done. "What do you want with me?" Keir asked somewhat angrily.

She laughed at him "it's not really you I am after, I am afraid." She said with a shrug. "So, don't sound so angry. I simply want to know what a human such as yourself is doing with such interesting company." She asked simply. There was a method to her ways, she was going to keep him occupied and let the others struggle against her creatures.

Raiquen Nguyen

Raiquen paused for a second after being asked why he needed the Lost Treasure. It was not a question he wished to deal with, but not one he could easily dodge either. He had kind of been asking for it when he told the whole truth. Berhtram and Merle had sensed his dilemma and also gone almost eerily silent. He decided that it would be best to reply carefully and try to make himself as clear as possible. "Why... need?" He paused at this point, laughing hollowly, before continuing. "Easy. I look... asleep, aye? Sound asleep. Am asleep. A curse... have many. Stuck... child. 'm... 26. Can't... wake. Must cure." He was pretty sure that he had covered everything.

Pretty talkative today, huh? Merle commented as she listened to Raiquen speak. Be careful not to reveal too much. Merle was always the careful one, unlike Berhtram, who loved to mess around. She was also more observant. Watch out; her tail his swaying back and forth. That's not usually a good sign from mammal predators.

Eh, I think she's just worried. If she's here, she probably wants the treasure. As long as you split the wishes, it should be fine, right? Berhtram decided. Also, the elf just left. The tigress's next words confirmed Berhtram's opinion. Raiquen didn't quite catch all of it, but did understand her offer and her own reason.

Someone's life? He wondered. He briefly speculated what Kokoro's story was, but decided it wasn't important. The proposed deal was a much more pressing matter. The tigress had said he could come along as long as she got one wish? The offer seemed almost one-sided, and would suit him perfectly fine. "I accept."

Eri Zabelan

Eri surveyed the repetitive ground below her, swiftly making her way through the air. Once again in her air form, she slowed, seeing a break in the scenery. 'People?' A mischievous grin, and a single thought was all that took place before dropping quickly to the ground. Not desperate, but aching to interact with other people after the boring and long flight, Eri appeared in a burst of sand. The two people she spotted before, only ten feet away. Her entrance was a little grand for her own taste, but her excitement was overflowing.

Taking time to study the people she had dropped in on, Eri noted what an unusual pair the few were. 'A man with wings and a girl with a tail?' But then again she herself wasn't the most normal either. Deciding to speak, Eri gave a weary, but strangely welcoming smile. As if it was her home, they had just knocked on the door.

"I apologize for my sudden... drop in." Eri worded it slowly, not sure what she should say. "But I am quite lonely." Not sure if her choice of words, or appearance was the wisest choice. @Creekstar @Rin Nyx

Kokoro Himura

Location: Desert Tomb

With: Raiquen, Eri ; Near: no one

"Twenty...six?" Kokoro stated slowly, tilting her head to the side. That would make this boy a year older than she was. That...was strange, and she wasn't sure if she should believe the boy, but the rest of his story, or what she could gather of it, seemed to check out. After all, she had noted the boy's strange movements, equating them to that of a sleepwalker, so she supposed that she should believe him. But... He looks so much like a kid, she thought to herself, a little incredulous. In any case, the winged boy--or man, rather--had accepted the deal she had extended to him.

Kokoro's ears turned towards the sound of something else approaching from the air. A burst of sand, and then there was a girl standing in front of them. Kokoro's tail twitched again, as she wasn't sure what to make of the newcomer before her, and even as the girl spoke, the tigress tilted her head in thought. I've wasted so much time out here just talking, she realized, her tail now twitching with the anxiety of wanting to move forward. She didn't have a lot of time to search for the treasure, her siblings would be killed if she wasn't back in time for...that day. Feeling the pressure of being pressed for time, Kokoro decided to invite this newcomer along now, so that they could move into the tomb.

"Hello," she started to greet the girl, "Are you here to join us as well? We are planning on entering the tomb. If you would like to help out, I'd be happy to help ease your loneliness," the tigress offered, giving the girl a small smile. Such a sudden invite to explore some dangerous tomb did not necessarily seem normal, but these did not necessarily seem like normal people.

Raiquen Nguyen

Merle let out a caw of alarm when the newcomer landed, creating a fountain of sand. Raiquen stepped back a bit, and Berhtram more or less jumped on him. What's happening? Who's there? Raiquen asked in alarm, struggling to keep up with what was going on. As he continued his retreat, he tripped and fell in the sand.

For one thing, you just fell over, Merle informed him patiently. And as for the newcomer? A girl just landed in front of us. She does not appear to have the wings that would allow a bird enkidu to fly. Judging by the uneasy feeling I'm getting from her presence, I'd assume that she's a dragon. This revelation put Raiquen on edge. It was bad enough to be in the presence of a tiger enkidu, but a dragon, too? Those were some pretty large predators. He tried to get back up but, instead of rising to his feet, he flopped over in a different direction.

Help... Raiquen said in embarrassment. Berhtram, who had been perched on him and thus fallen over with him, picked himself up and tried to push the winged boy to his feet. The scene probably looked quite comical, as they failed a few times before succeeding. Both were laughing pretty hard by the end of it. Merle told them to stop and informed Raiquen that the tigress looked impatient. He figured that this was because of the reason she needed the Lost Treasure, but said nothing. He tried again to focus on what was happening. Kokoro had asked the dragon to come along. "Yes... can come," he agreed. It might mean sacrificing one of the treasure's wishes, but it was a price that had to be paid. Raiquen was also eager to set off.

Mavndrus scoffed as somehow everyone but him had got some sort of energy burst from the girl. As the Ice dragon and the teal haired boy devised a plan he continued to shoot at the bats moving back where Leandor stood. Leandor was surprised when he was filled with some sort of energy, he didnt think to hard as it helped fend off the bats. He watched as the two dragons began to destroy the rest of the bats. "Prince this journey seems to become a bit troublesome, maybe we should..." Before Leandor could finish the wall had caved in leaving them all stuck. "What the hell did you do!" He said angrily moving towards the teal haired man. "Was it not clear to you that we are in a mine that can easily fell apart, that you shouldve been a bit more gentle! You simpleton you bumbling fool!!" He yelled his screams echoing off the mine walls and moving closer to the man. Leandor sighed towards the prince placing a hand on bridge of his nose rubbing in frustation. Leandor ears twitched as laughter was heard "My prince calm down i think we should worry about getting out of hear more then starting trouble." Leandor said trying to calm the prince down. Mavndrus was furious he didnt want to be in here in the first place I shouldve killed this filth before even entering the mine. Mav thought to himself

As the cave behind collapsed the echoes of joyful malice resounded around them Eihrodeign lifted his great blade and rested it on his shoulder, looking around himself at the others. This simple trip in the mines seemed to have carried more trouble than any had been expecting, and things were beginning to look a lot more grim than they seemed ready for, including his daughter who bore an uneasy look on her face as she looked down the tunnel. They needed to finish this, one way or another, and get back out of the cave.

"Mavndrus, the more you speak without thinking, the less intelligent your words sound. Do yourself a favour and learn this lesson before you take power over your land. Besides, we already knew this cave was far too weak, and had it not been for the bats I would have advised we turn around soon anyhow. That said, we don't have a choice any more, do we?"

Walking to the front of the group, Eihro began to speak., first pointing to his eight'o'clock.

"If you would follow me, I will see us through this. Geir, take stance here, and Mavndrus, our differences aside, if we don't work together death will more than readily accept us, I would appreciate you at my four'o'clock. Auluua, Ila and Lani, take up position behind them in a triangle, Lani, you at the point, Ila on the right, Auluua you on the left. Finally, Leander, I would appreciate you taking up the rear. If anything should sneak up behind us, your Enikdu sense would be one of the best for sensing it." the dragon spoke with a determination and authority in his that was only rarely heard from him as his old military commander ways returned, "The plan is simple we move forward, and should we encounter trouble I take point. I may be old, but dragons are unique in that as we age we get tougher. I will take the brunt of the blows while Mavndrus and Geir will work on keeping any from passing me, or assist when needed. Aaluua, Ila and Lani will focus on overall support, Lani being the next line of defence should any slip past Geir and Mavndrus. Leander, if we become sure that there will be no attack from the rear, move up to the right and take the place of Mavndrus, who can use his magicks to support similar to Ila and Auluua. We work together, we watch each other's back. We do not break formation, we do not let any of our defences falter and we stick to the plan. Most importantly, we protect each other as if we are all an extension of our own body. Then, once we get out, we can go back to personally hating whoever we wish, but until then we need to handle this professionally, as we all should."

Without waiting for responses Eihro began to march forward.

For Lani's part, she just looked around at everyone else. Mavndrus was angry, Leander seemed to be trying to keep him calm, Geir was standing off to the side seemingly ignoring the shouting and Auluua and Ila both also seemed to be ignoring the shouting match, lost in their own thoughts. Lani wasn't a fool though, and quickly set off after her father.

"I don't know about anyone else, but my dad is nearly a thousand years old. I think I'll listen to aged wisdom before angry bickering any day."

Keir Sullivan

Keir sighed, letting his short-lived temper abate. It took too much energy to stay angry, anyways, and he usually had little to spare. He had made a mistake, and it wouldn't happen again. He considered attacking the enemy, but quickly remembered he had no knife to fight with. It was back in the other room. "It's not really any of your business what I do, stranger. I see no need to tell you. Anyway, since you've already stated that it's not me you want here, I think I'll be going," Keir told the enemy. He turned himself around and began heading for the room's exit. He hoped his companions were okay.

"What did I do?" Geir growled angrily as Mavndrus approached him, yelling. Eirho was reprimanding the prince already, but the teal-haired dragon had already been provoked, leading him to tune out that part of the older dragon's speech. Geir's expression was one of anger and disgust as he stepped closer to the prince, his yellow eyes glaring and practically boring into the man. Heat rose from Geir's skin, causing a slight shimmer in the air from the distortion of heat rising. "I saved your sorry, pompous ass, that's what I did," he yelled back, his voice deepening, taking on the deeper, growling tones of his dragon form. "Are you deaf, or just daft? Don't you hear that laughter? If my attack was going to collapse the mine, it would have done it immediately, it wouldn't have been delayed!" he growled his response, fists tightening around his swords. He wanted to punch this pompous prince in his annoying face, but that wouldn't solve anything right now. I will burn him to a crisp when we get out of here, Geir thought to himself, growling as he turned and walked away from the prince to keep himself from striking him. He could deal with the prince, but he didn't want to have to deal with Leandor's reaction. Too inconvenient, anyway, he decided.

The younger dragon did his best to cool his anger and listen to the plan that the older dragon was spouting. It was a solid formation, though Geir was less than happy to have to walk near the pompous prince. Still, he would deal with it, for now. The teal haired man went to follow in his position in the formation, moving to sheath his swords before realizing that their holsters were attached to his shirt, which was still with Unila. He shrugged, deciding to just keep the swords in his hands where they would be readily available to him. He started to follow the older dragon, when he realized one thing that concerned him. "Ila, are you okay to walk?" he asked her, his voice back to its normal tone, and possibly even softer than usual, now that he wasn't yelling at Mav. He also left out his typical -for-short ending to the girl's name, this time, being more serious for once. If this formation was to work, Unila would have to be able to move on her own. Not hearing an answer from her, he looked back, realizing that the girl was unconscious. "I think someone is going to have to carry her," he stated to the group, a worried frown on his face.

Lyla glared at the human and she dropped her hood down and the looked at his shadow she grinned and quickly stepped on it to stop him. "No, I don't want you to go." She pouted and sent a creature to block the exit.

The dark elf smiled having a crazy idea. "I want you to do me a favor, I want you to fight the elf." She whispered trying to manipulate his shadow to separate from its owner. If he wouldn't do so she would make sure his shadow would.

Keir Sullivan

As Keir was about to exit the room, he was inexplicably forced to stop, feeling as if someone was walking on his grave. He turned his head slowly, getting a strong sense of déja vu. This was what had happened earlier. On his guard now, he looked behind him, glimpsing a dark elf woman standing on his shadow. She had an almost maniacal grin on her face. Suddenly, a shadow darted past out of the corner of Keir's eye, and he whipped his head around to see a monster blocking the exit. He cursed under his breath before turning his gaze back to the woman. She seemed to have been pouting for a second, but her smile had returned.

Upon hearing her request, Keir scowled at her. He could feel the tug of her will again. He was ready for it, though; only a fool would fall for the same trick twice. As the two battled mentally, Keir felt that he was slipping, but tried to hold on. Ireth only barely trusted the group, and if he broke that trust by trying to kill her? She would never trust him again. Besides, with his weak body, he'd stand no chance against the elf. It would be suicide to fight her as he was. He suddenly realized that these thoughts were distracting him, however. He could tell that the dark elf could sense it; she directed her will at his shadow, and it separated from him. Unable to withstand the shock of having his shadow pulled away, Keir crumpled to the ground, out cold.

Eri Zabelan

Eri blinked, surprised the strange pair would accept her so easily. But glad all the same, letting out a few small chuckles and a smile at the comical attempts at standing back up. "I am Eri." The dragon paused, contemplating whether to reveal her species as well, or let them find out on their own. Deciding to tell, if they asked, Eri turned to face the Tomb. "What adventure might I be going on? And if you are in a rush I don't mind learning along the way." Eri offered, her eyes catching onto the Endiku girl's impatient and tense language.

Slowly she pulled her self up to her full, human, height. Gripping her quarterstaff tighting in her right hand, Eri awaited their answers. But still answered some on her own. 'The girl.. and Endiku no doubt. Seems like a tiger, maybe leopard. I can never remember these things.. boy seems half asleep. Maybe a sleeping curse? Unusual how he can still walk. Although it would explain his clumbsyness. But the ravens...' Eri's eyes almost narrowed with confusion. 'Maybe an endiku as well? A bird. Might explain the wings..' Deciding to learn more about the boy as she wenf, Eri brushed off any excess questions and put her full attention at hand. A typically hard thing to do for her airy and shifty personality. But it would do to look engaged. @Creekstar @Rin Nyx

((Oh how fun I have Kier's Shadow!!! Lol))

Lyla smirked seeing kier fall to the ground. She pushed him over with her foot and smiled "too easy" she said and looked at his shadow "hmm you'll do fine." She said simply and watched as the creature moved from the exit. "Join the others." She commanded it.

@Creekstar

Keir Sullivan?

The shadow swirled on the ground for a few moments, seeming to get its bearings. A form began to rise from the floor after it had stabilized. This amorphous shadow then began to settle on a solid shape; it changed in appearance until it was an exact replica of the body lying on the floor. It would be almost impossible for Keir's allies back in the other room to distinguish this apparition from the real thing, giving both it and its master a distinct advantage. It stood facing Lyla, and said "Great. I can't wait to get rid of that annoying elf." Keir's shadow, of course, sounded exactly like him, but the words were so out of character for him that it wasn't hard to tell that this was not him. Realizing that, the shadow thought it might be best to keep its talking to a minimum. It didn't need to talk to kill that elf, anyways.

Lyla chucked "of course, I wouldn't spare the others either." She said with a shrug and turned her back but then paused "no, actually get them here. They have proven strong so far in the temple, I want them to suffer with Ireth. She doesn't deserve to have allies... Not after what she did to me." She said looking down slightly sad. "Get them in here I want to personally take the last breath from her, but have your fun, I don't need them in good health." She stated and waved her hand.

She had been taught well and was quite proud of her handy work. She thought her master would be as well. This was by far the best job she's done with a shadow.

@Creekstar

Keir Sullivan?

Before heading to join the others and lure them into the room Lyla stood in, the shadow decided it would be best to hide Keir. Having him lying around when the group entered the room could be problematic. Looking around, it spotted a crack in the wall, just large enough to to put Keir's body in. After picking him up and shoving him in rather roughly, the shadow moved a few objects in front of the crack to hide it.

Satisfied, the shadow moved towards the darkened room that the rest of Keir's allies were still in. As it approached, the shadow felt a sadistic excitement as it prepared to fight its "friends." This emotion showed on its face; a twisted grin distorted its countenance. Without the physical limitations that Keir had, it would more than stand a chance against against even the stronger members of the group. Trying to get rid of the expression on its face as to avoid suspicion, the shadow entered the dark room. It realized that Arya had asked if everyone was accounted for. "I'm here," it replied, doing its best to hide its anticipation and sound like Keir. It noted that her voice was shaking slightly, and thought to itself,
Right. One of the strongest ones is weakened from healing the other me. This would make its job easier. As a shadow, it could now see fine in the dark, and found and picked up Keir's knife, readying it.

Ireth looked toward Arya "I'm here." she said noting there was at least three in their accounted for. She shivered at the dark aura she felt enter the room and couldn't quite place it. "dark magic is here and not just from the shadows." She told the company. Her concern wasn't the shadow that wasn't even solid. She figured it couldn't do much harm. She turned her attention to the doorway and touched it. She felt the shadow hands and it sent a shiver up her spine. The elf raised her dagger and tried to cut through it but it didn't seem to phase the shadows. "we aren't getting out this way, by force anyways." she said with a sigh. She looked towards the group and the shadow creature had vanished. Hands separated from the wall they made and jumped at each person in the room.

Ireth growled as a hand grabbed her from her hair and managed to yank her down. she manged to pull her hair away and tried to stab it. The hand dodged it and jumped back onto her making her fall back towards Keir.

The other hand went right towards Arya going for her ankle to trip her up seeing how she was rather weak.

Kokoro Himura

Location: Desert Tomb

With: Raiquen, Eri ; Near: no one

"Nice to meet you, Eri," Kokoro started, then gave a slight bow, "I am Kokoro Himura." Standing up straight again, she turned to the tomb entrance, beginning to walk towards it without any further ado. "Our adventure today will be a search of this tomb here," she explained, her ears flicking back to face the direction of the other two, so that she could better hear their replies if they had any. "It's said that there's an object here that can help even the most helpless of situations," she explained, carefully stepping around the rubble of the broken boulder. She briefly wondered how Raiquen would do with so many tripping hazards. After having seen the rather comical display when he fell in the sand, she was even more worried about how the winged boy would do in the tomb that would, no doubt, be full of traps.

Before entering the tomb, the tiger enkidu grabbed her staff from where it had been held by the sash around her waist. The silver colored staff reflected the fading sun as the girl stretched out, moving her staff around the floor, walls, anything that she thought might trigger a trap from the beginning. Satisfied that the entrance, at least, was safe, the girl stepped forward, entering into the dark tomb. Her eyes adjusted quickly to the darkness -- one of her natural benefits of being a tiger enkidu was that she could see clearly in the dark.

Arya Tinuviel

Location: Temple Ruins

With: Keir, Ireth, Vanathell, Pansa

Arya perked up a little at the sound of two of her allies responding to her question. Ireth sounded worried, and was looking for a way out, while Keir sounded...different. It was strange, but Arya couldn't quite place the emotion behind the man's voice. Turning towards the two who had spoken, Arya focused in the darkness to find their general locations, her eyes picking up a small amount of faintly glowing color in the darkness. Ireth's aura looked as it usually did, although tinged with a touch of a murky red at the moment, most likely due to worry. The blue haired girl turned now towards the sound of Keir's voice, expecting to find something similar -- his aura, possibly dampened by current events. That was not the case, however. The only aura coming from the being who had spoken there was dark. Its aura was the darker, murkier colors that usually were only hinted at, a small part of a much brighter whole that she saw when looking at Keir. This...was not Keir. Her eyes widened as she realized this, though she didn't have time to shout out a warning before feeling her feet swept out from under her, causing her to topple to the ground and landing in the puddle of blood that was always around her feet in this damned temple.

Although she may have been weakened from earlier, Arya was not about to go out without a fight. Blood steaming with anger, blobs of blood went hurtling at the hand that had tripped her, riddling it with holes. Breathing heavily at this added exertion, Arya closed her eyes for a moment. Just one at a time, I can do this. No time to be weak, she motivated herself, opening her eyes again only to see several more hands now launching themselves at her. ...Shit. Bringing her scythe up to defend herself as best she could on the ground, the girl slashed at the hands as much as she could, trying to keep them off of her.

((Arya's ability to see auras is coming in handy a lot more than I originally expected
:P Not that it helps much in this case, since she didn't even warn anyone...))

Keir Sullivan?

The shadow's mind raced as it saw Arya's eyes widen. It had forgotten how perceptive she was. Damn, did the girl figure it out? What should I do? If she warns them and they all attack me at once... Even I might not hold up, it wondered, scowling slightly. Fortunately, hands grabbed her, forcing her to the ground before she could say anything. That dark elf's creatures were certainly being helpful. Suddenly, Ireth fell towards the shadow, pushed by another hand. This was a perfect opportunity, but should it attack her? It wasn't allowed to kill the elf, and needed to get the group into the other room. Still, it thought, if I attack her, they might try to hunt me down, creating an excellent chance to trap them. Its mind made up, the shadow brought its knife up to slash at the falling elf's back. Even if it missed, it could always excuse itself by claiming to have been after the hand clinging to her.

Pansa growled ad the aura he felt coming from "Keir" was definitely dark. He reached into his pouch and retrieved a smoke bomb laced with chemicals that would those were in the cloud cry uncontrollably and cough hard. He then realized the creatures had no orifices with which the smoke would effect them. He quickly switched to a caustic smoke bomb. Grabbing both Arya and Ireth from harm's way he dropped the smoke bomb in front of them. He motioned to both girls not to step into the smoke for it was laced with an acidic element. He hoped it would help even the odds.
