Darnall decided to continue reading Frost. As he reached for the book, it opened on its own, to the page he had "marked", and slid into his hand. Picking up where he left off, Darnall would read for another hour before he started to doze off. As his head nodded down, the book would close softly and slide over to the side of the bed. The light switch flicked and threw the room into a partial darkness. Darnall slept soundly.
