Edwards eyes squinted a little at the women, "Show me your face first, it's hard to let a complete stranger into your home," he said. He hated the idea of letting someone who wouldn't show their face when being let in to kill the king, sure the new king was horrible, but having a ruler thrown off of the throne without a true heir could be dangerous. Having his mother rule could be risky as citizens might dislike having a women rule over them. A feud between Edward and the new kings son, both of them have the right for the throne, and surely the princesses have a say in this matter. Killing the new king could potentially throw the empire into more of a mess.
