Fantasy The Chalice Academy

"Them." He points into the dark room, "They're angry at you, you should leave the hallway." He starts following Tessa. "I guess you know my secret now." He says still walking.

Walking into the hallway, Rayu gives the male a puzzled expression. "Why? And who are they?" Then he stopped. "Why don't you guys go ahead to class? I need to find Kanari. She's probably wobbling around somewhere..." He looked around, debating which way to go. "She overdid herself, and she might have collapsed. Octavius, you can update me on this later."

"I really don't think we should split up..." Tessa muttered. That was how they got into this mess in the first place. And she didn't want just crazy Octavius for company.

Rayu decided to guide them back to the classroom at least. "All right, then. I'll accompany you two to the classroom, then I'll head out to find Kanari, unless Mr. Michealis knows how to locate her. Does that sound okay?" He asked more to Tessa, as Octavius seemed to be in a daze,

She'd managed to find the sick bay, somehow without getting lost, supposing this was her lucky... well at this point she couldn't call it her lucky so so.. lucky hour she supposed? Though upon walking through the doorway she found her feet made contact with thin air, panicking she ended up accidentally throwing herself in and due to her earlier exertions she was unable to do anything about in, quickly she came to a halt, striking her head on the ground of the "sick bay" and blacking out.

(And with that, I must once again take my leave :/ )

"You should shut the door, or they'll escape." He turns behind him pointing at the door. "They already are."

"Okay, I guess." Tessa said, "But what if you get in trouble while you're alone? Not that I care, of course." She added the last bit quickly, crossing her arms. She didn't like the idea of Rayu getting hurt, she had to admit.

Rayu closed the door, leaning on it, making sure that it was tightly shut before replying to Tessa. "If I get in trouble, I'm looking for your phone." He flashed a smile. "Though I have a feeling I'll start the mess instead of running into one." His eyes shifted to Octavius. "May I ask what you're talking about? I really didn't hear or see anything...though I did feel...uncomfortable in there."

"The dead ones." at that he starts walking down the hall towards where he believed to be the classroom. Paying no attention to anything around him. Only occasionally glancing around or looking over his shoulder.

Rayu's eyes followed Octavius' form. What did he mean by the 'dead ones'? The usually more-cheerful male seemed like a different person. He glanced at the door behind him, wondering what was so terrible that changed a friend so quickly. It's only been an hour. Rayu brushed his bangs out of his eyes and walked towards Tessa. "Do you think he'll be okay? He's acting really strange."

"At this point, I honestly have no idea." Tessa said. She had decided that Octavius was wacko and that she was going to leave him to it. She couldn't talk him out of... Whatever this was. It was better to wait for it to pass.

Rayu tagged behind Octavius, wondering if he could lead them to Mr. Michealis' classroom again. The hallways seemed to distort into a different area of the school every time he turned a corner or opened a door. It gave his mind a hard time, but then again, he'd heard that the teachers enjoyed 'mind games,' whatever that may be, and this was probably a part of it. Either way, it couldn't be helped.

"I wonder if this counts as cutting class," Rayu wondered aloud, though he knew it was. It's been an hour since everyone gathered in the classroom. He'd just have to get the class notes from Sol or...the other girl. He couldn't remember her name, and all he knew was it started with an 'S'. "I don't want to be furniture on the first day," he added, another thought coming into mind.

"hah" Octavius chuckles at the last remark, "Better than being dead. It probably does count as cutting so if you don't want to be furniture let's hurry."

"I'm too young to be a shoe rack!" Tessa exclaimed, "Get a move on, both of you! Come on, move it, move it!" She was in for it now. Most people were lucky to survive their first year, let alone their second. She had been doomed from the moment she stepped through the doors that morning.

Octavius started shuffling faster, not being able to run as it exhausted him to much. "Any idea where we are heading." He looked at the 2 with a blank stare. That hour in that hallway changed him, mentally and physically.

Rayu shook his head. "Not really...unless I know our destination, but I don't, because these hallways are changing every time we turn. If you know anyone in class who is holding a phone, maybe I'd be able to track it, but otherwise, I can't do anything." He looked at Octavius as he gave a blank stare. Something inside that hallway must have traumatized him or something, because this wasn't the Octavius he knew before.

"Where are the creepy appearing-out-of-nowhere teachers when you need them?" Tessa demanded, "I'd be happy to see... Even Mr Michealis would be helpful right now..." She drew closer to the two boys. She was more scared than she cared to admit. At least, there wasn't any ice or water- no, don't jinx it, don't jinx it! She glared at the ground, blaming everything and everyone for what had happened today. Everyone except herself, of course.

Rayu agreed. "I guess it's a punishment...for skipping class." He didn't know what he was saying at this point. Stepping into the creepy hallway drained some energy from him, and he still couldn't shake off the uncomfortable feeling. "Octavius," he said tiredly. "Why were the 'dead ones' angry?"

As he shuffled down the hall Octavius heard Rayu ask a question about 'them', " I woke them up, I trespassed in their land." He looks at Rayu. "When you guys entered they became extremely angry that's why it was so dark in there." He then focused to where he was going so he wouldn't trip.
(Closest image to what I could think of what happened. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

"I wonder why such a place is in this school," Rayu muttered. He distanced himself from the two, releasing a bit of electricity to check for any electronics nearby that might lead to Mr. Michealis' room. It only danced around his fingers, making his hands tingle, but other than that, nothing happened. "I've got no signal," Rayu sighed.
