Emily walked through the halls but now slouched over. "What time is it?" She checked her watch. " 12 more minutes." Her eyes started twitching as she saw the beings around her. "I see all of you!" She again slowed to a stop and sat down. "Maybe if I stop they'll find me!" She now was laughing slightly. "Any moment now and they'll find me, any moment now...." She laid he head down on her book and fell asleep from exhaustion.

(And so they never found Octavius's body... I'm kidding xD )

[Dyness]

Rayu opened the door and peered inside. "Hey, Tessa, this door leads to another hallway." He narrowed his before pulling away a bit. "It seems a bit darker in here. Do you want to go through? Emily might be there." Or, she might be on a different floor entirely.


(Emily never got to get a drink of water...)

 

[jinkx]

(Nooooooooooooooooooo.... DEAD END.)


"Okay." Tessa said, "I can fix the dark." Her hand caught fire and the flames tickled the palm of her hand. She held out her hand. Somehow, the hallway didn't seem any brighter. Maybe the darkness wasn't room lack of light. Maybe it was like a sign warning them to go back. Too late now, Tessa thought, as she stepped forward.

 

[Dyness]

(Dun dun DUN)


"Emily," Rayu said into the darkness. "Are you in here?" He walked in after Tessa, cautiously looking around. This wasn't normal darkness, which would usually be affected by light, and in this case, Tessa's fire. It did light up the area around her hand, just a bit. "Tessa, can you send your fire down the hall without burning anything?" He didn't want to get in trouble with Mr. Michealis for ruining anything, but if Emily was in here, they should be able to see a bit of her body with fire's light.

(I'm not sure....do you mean where she says, "Any moment now and they'll find me"? Or is it different? I only got that one <<)

Octavius (Time passed it's been an hour) was known to talk in his sleep. He also slept with his eyes half open. "They're everywhere, the darkness." With the halls not having any cushioning the sound echoed through the hall. He said this about every 45 seconds.

 

[Dyness]

(Is it okay if we find you in this hallway? I mean the dark one Tessa and I are traveling through)

[Dyness]

(Okay, I'm gonna wait for Tessa's reply)

 

[jinkx]

"I don't think we should be going this way." Tessa said, "It looks like the kind of place that people go to die." She shivered and edged closer to Rayu, "I don't want to die yet." Then, she realised that he had asked him a question.


"If I did that, the building might burn down." Tessa said.

 

[Dyness]

"You won't die," Rayu assured. "I'm used to this by now," he added jokingly. "You can wait by the door if you'd like. Electricity produces light, too. I'm just afraid I might hit something and cause a blackout." He lifted his hand and aimed, sending a streak of light across the hallway, and it lit up a form in the darkness, just barely enough to be seen. His eyes widened. "Tessa....is that Octavius?"

"Is he alive?" Tessa demanded, "Because I'm going to kill him!" She clenched her hands into fists and stormed down the hallway. She went over to Octavius and kicked him hard in the side. Then, again. Then, again.


"WAKE UP, ANNOYING GIT WHO NEARLY GOT ME KILLED, WAKE UP!" she yelled.

Octavius felt pain in his gut. He opened his eye's and saw Tessa and Rayu. "Hey guys." He coughs a bit. "Do you see them?" He points to a random direction in the room.

 

[Dyness]

Rayu watched as Octavius opened his eyes, coughing out a greeting. He was puzzled by his question, turning to the direction Octavius pointed in. "I don't see anything," he said, trying to focus his eyes. The hallway was quite dark, but he knew they were in a bad situation. "Let's get back to class...this place doesn't give a nice vibe."

 

[CharmingCthulhu]

He looks at Rayu in puzzlement, "You don't?" He stands up and gets his book. "Alright I'm ready to go. What direction did you guys come from?" He looks at them with a dead gaze in his eyes.

 

[jinkx]

"That way." Tessa pointed, "You've gone crazy, haven't you? Should I kick him again?" The second question was directed at Rayu. Tessa looked at him, hoping that he would say yes. She was still mad at Octavius.

 

[Dyness]

Rayu looked at Octavius, who seemed so...out of it. "Maybe later, when he gets to his senses. He won't react much at this point. Something happened to him." He turned a bit, facing the door, which held the brighter hallway. "Come, hopefully, we can find our way back to the classroom." He waited for the two to walk ahead of him. That way, he could see if anything happens.

Octavius slowly walked toward the light always either looking around nervously or checking over his shoulder. As he walks through the door way he says "You guys didn't see them, did you hear the?" He stopped once he got in the other hallway.

 

[Dyness]

"Octavius," Rayu said from the back, "what are you talking about?" He glanced nervously at Tessa, as if to say, what's gotten into him?

 

[jinkx]

"Octavius, my friend." Tessa said, "You've gone quite crazy so just assume my answer to your next twelve statements is "mmmmm..."." Then, she carried on walking. She didn't even know if they were going the right way anymore. They were going to be lost forever.
