Fantasy The Chalice Academy

"I ignored everyone." Tessa said, "And they ignored me back. It's a good system." She looked over at Kanari. That girl was so not going to survive the year. She was so small and weak looking and- ugh. Tessa had that prickly feeling under her skin. She looked around and her eyes fell on a girl with dark hair. (@macaron :) )

"Who's that?" Tessa asked.

(NO, I AM JUSTICE. AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAHHAAHHAAHA!)

"Oh, I met her earlier. I got a little lost and we bumped into each other" Accidentally letting slip that she'd already managed to get herself lost, quickly moving on more Tessa could comment on the subject "I think her name was Serephene, she seemed like a nice enough person a little unaware of where shes walking though" Not realizing the irony of her of all people criticizing somebody for lacking a sense of direction.

"Serephene." Tessa said, "Hmmm..." She added that girl to the list of people to definitely and try and avoid. They would not get along well. Tessa could swear Serephene felt... Cold... Just the air around her was chilling. Maybe she was overreacting- a little paranoid.

"Do you feel that?" Tessa said, glancing at Kanari.

(KIRA IS MINE. AND ALSO L. AND ALSO MELLO. AND NEAR. AND MATT. ALL MINE.)

Emily was reading her book, but glanced around to see what was happening. The teacher was handing tools, possibly for cleaning up the mess, to Sol. She glanced behind herself and saw Tessa, the only person that she knew that didn't know about the curse. Should I tell her, I mean it's bound that the others might. She decided against it and went back to reading.

(What about Touta Matsuda?)

"Do I feel what?" Pausing for a moment, assuming it had something to do with Serephene. After focusing for a few minutes though she noticed it, the air around her was unnaturally chilly, she guessed that Tessa, having control over fire was more sensitive to it than most "Actually.. It is a bit colder in here that it should be." Correcting herself on her earlier statement, the aura of cold Serephene was giving off becoming more noticeable now that she'd realized it was there "It's not surprising though, if that display in that hallway was any indication one of her powers have something to do with ice" Explaining to Tessa, assuming her assumption was correct it seemed like the kind of thing she'd want to know.

(Greedy! I'll go hang with my main man LeLouch then > :P )

"It's cold." Tessa shuddered, "I don't like this one bit." Automatically, her powers freaked and started trying to warm her up. She didn't like the cold, her body wasn't used to it. Her hands began to burn against the desk and Tessa stood up. No way was she going to set anything on fire today. Not when people were actually being nice to her. She crossed her arms and stepped away from the desk.

(I get the Corpse Party characters! Except for Yuka because she annoys me.)

"Are you.. Ok?" As Tessa rose from the desk she felt waves of heat washing over her, contrasting the chilly atmosphere that Serephene was emitting. Pushing out her chair and making her way over to her, looked up to her concerned, Tessa had helped her in the lobby earlier and she wanted to try and repay the favor "Whats going on? There any way I can help?" Extending her hand towards her as she spoke.

(How is Corpse Party? It looks interesting, but that gore tho)

"Did it get warm in here, anyone?" Emily takes off the overcoat. Looking at the other students they seemed to have been warm as well. Wonder why it got so warm. She looked behind her to see Tessa and Karina standing up, something was wrong. It's none of my business don't get involved. She re-opens her book and goes back to reading.

(It's AWESOME.)

"N-no." Tessa said, "I'm fine. Maybe. I'm just not used to being cold, that's all. It's not a big deal." She could feel her face turning visibly warm. Goddamn you, Serephene, she thought. It was all that girl's fault for being a freaking ice princess. Slowly, Tessa sat back down and closed her eyes. She tried to focus on not setting anything on fire.

"Not used to being cold..." Mumbling as she thought to herself, trying figuring out a way to help. Her power was Vector Control, everything had vectors, even atoms had vectors, heat was directly related to the speed of an atom moving in its environment.. That was it! If she just tried hard enough.. "Actually I think I can do something about that..."

Focusing, she began running the calculations through her mind, "Acceleration equals force over mass.." Absentminded mumbling under her breath as she attempted to raise the temperature, the drawback of her power being that she had to calculate everything she did with it in this case, the movement of each individual atom.

Feeling the chill leave the air she began to get excited, speeding up her calculations. After a few moments though she felt something, a head splitting pain from the right of her skull, wincing and losing her concentration, dropping the calculations kneeling and gripping the source of the pain as the temperature of the room dropped back down, whimpering under her breath.

(Have you seen Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni? THAT is a great horror/mystery)

"Kanari?" Tessa's eyes widened as the girl collapsed on the ground, whimpering, "Um, Kanari? You okay?" She was so obviously not okay that Tessa cursed herself for even asking. She shouldn't have said anything about the cold. She should've just kept it to herself.

"Kanari!" Tessa demanded; she knelt beside her, "Can you stand?"

(I just watched a video called Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni in 30 seconds. Laughing, Blood, Laughing, Green Hair, Blood. More Laughing. Only way to describe it)
Emily dropped her book on the desk and got up to see what happened. Kanari was on the floor whimpering while Tess was trying to help her. All I could do is interfere. She walked up to the 2, "What happened?" She asked knowing it had something to do with the temperature changes.

(That looks freaking amazing! I'm so going to watch it! SO MUCH PSYCHOTIC LAUGHTER :D )

"I think she was trying to fix the temperature and something went wrong." Tessa was expecting Octavius and was surprised when she realised it was his sister, "Hey, are you in our class too? Where'd your brother go?" She frowned. This was getting confusing. Really, really confusing.
(I just watched Mirai Nikki in thirty seconds. IT WAS SCARILY ACCURATE.)

"Mmmm, I should be fine.." Attempting to regain her footing as she spoke, wobbling slightly "I think I just overdid it a bit, I thought I could do something about the temperature" Replying to Emily as she chimed in, grateful she was concerned. The pain was fading, though she still felt very dizzy, even in her state she could tell she'd have to rest for awhile. "I'm... going to go to the sick bay.." Propping herself up on a desk while she regained her balance, making her way to the door when she could support herself "I'll see you in the next class hopefully" Giving a small, rather weak wave as she walked out the door.

(It is REALLY good. I have to go sleep now ;~; See you guys later)

Emily waved to Karina as she left the room. Remembering Tessa's question. "Yea, we're in the same class, by chance of course." She laughs nervously, "I think he's getting something from the vending machine." Just couldn't keep to yourself could you?

"Mhm." Tessa said, "I look forward to seeing you two in the same class at the same time. I've only seen you separately so far." Something was going on. Luckily, this had distracted Tessa enough that she had begun to cool down a little- only a little though. She stood up.

"Do you think she'll be okay?" she asked, watching as Kanari left the room.

Emily shrugs her shoulders, "I don't really know, she probably will though." The first thing Tessa said was echoing in her head. "I look forward to seeing you two in the same class at the same time. I've only seen you separately so far." She's definitely catching on.

"May I ask you a question, Emily?" Tessa said, and before waiting for an answer she continued, "Why do you like to wear exactly the same as your brother and show up conveniently when he isn't here? And why did you wave to me before we'd been introduced but after I'd met your brother? And why do I get the feeling that both of you are lying to me?" She crossed her arms, "If I don't get an explanation, I'm burning your book."

After being bombarded by questions she heard her last remark. So bribery, I tell her or I loose my book. "You know I think I have to go, get a drink of water, yeah water." She starts running towards her desk, grabs her book, and runs out of the room heading left down the hall. If these corridors change sometimes then that could work to my advantage. Or hers.

"Emily! Or Octavius! I don't know which one you are!" Tessa yelled after her, "Don't be a coward!" She raced after her... Him... Her. She turned right and began to run that way. Which was a mistake. Because, once again, Tessa ran straight into a brick wall. It hurt. A lot. She rubbed her forehead and ran left this time. She was such an idiot.

((@Fallen from Heaven is it ok if my character has overrated powers like this, if He has a hell alot of flaws that make it so it's even, also can I hurt my teacher *breaks forth wall again*.... also I destroy justice...not really.... I just kinda throw it into accidental chaos.))

Mr. Michealis sighed softly to himself. So Kanari admitted herself to the sick bay and Octavius went to get water. It would probably have been better if they had asked for directions first. But it was only the first day so perhaps they still need to get acquainted with the rules. Or the consequences. Because when Kanari entered the sick bay, all she would find was that she fell into a black hole - otherwise known as the Miasma created by the germs and disease that inhabited the area. As for Octavius, he would end up in an Escher painting where the hallways never ended and all the rooms were locked. These weren't exactly Mr. Michealis' intentions, but rather was a result of the teacher not having the chance to rearrange the hallways for use again.
((@FallenFromHeaven - I'm heading off to sleep now - if it interests you, please feel free to control Mr. Michealis

Goodnight everyone~!))

Serephene felt the air warm up, as if someone felt that it was too cold. I lost track of my powers again, she realized. As she idly listened The teacher talking to Sol, she heard a faint whimpering, followed by the shuffling of feet, and the temperature dropped. This is what happens when you're not careful, Serephene reminded herself. She made sure to lock her power before relaxing again. There was so much activity today, and it's been a while she had experienced something thrilling, and she's never been in such a big school. I wonder how long my body could last, she wondered. I'm as out of shape as I could possibly be.

The voices and noises were drowned out by her thoughts, and she began to think of the school. When she had gotten lost, she had tried to take the same way back, but the entire corridor had changed, and she had nearly ran into brick walls. Most of the time, she only slammed her foot. Then she'd open another door to find miscellaneous rooms filled with things that she'd find elsewhere, which was quite puzzling to her. Thinking back, it must be that the school was also enchanted in some way, though she didn't know in what way, exactly. She was brought out of her thoughts when she began to feel hot, which was not something normal; she could deal with temperature quite well, and has never felt cold or hot, only cool and warm in her comfort level. Guessing the feeling would pass, she rested her head on her arms, thinking about the rest of the day.

(This is basically my character's random thinking time. I don't know what else to do. xD Sorry Tessa. :( I'll be sure to keep my character's power in check next time. ;P)
