Fantasy The Chalice Academy

(Haha, it's cool. I just hope Serephene can stop your character. xD I read her profile--she is NOT good with people...more like she hasn't been around them much. Good luck to you, young lady.)

With Emily now being out of the lobby, she started running into a nearby classroom. It was the same abandoned classroom she was in earlier. "Oh god, I thought I could hide it. Now nearly everyone knows." She sits on an chair that was in the corner. "The only one that doesn't know that I know is Tessa. Wonder how that's going to work." She starts reading an old book on a cracked shelf. "What's this. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, might as well as read it until stuff passes over." She sits back down on the chair and flips through the old dusty pages.

The first day and everything was already unfolding into chaos, tremors shaking the classroom, shattering the nearby windows. Rayu and Octavius bolting out the door to see what was happening, Kanari electing to stay seated until things had calmed down. The tremors stopping she made her way to the doorway, spotting 'Emily running embarrassed from a small group composed of Rayu, Serephene and Sol. Standing in the doorway watching the scene unfold, an odd scene to say the least, what was presumably an illusion forming over Serephene and Sol, who seemed to be radiating some form of energy. Approaching the scene she spoke to Rayu, "Just what the heck is going on here.." Befuddled by the events unfolding on the first day of all times.

((oh, well lets wait for the other two or three to reply, I wanna see what they will do before I make my next move))

Serephene flinched at his tone, and almost backed away. It held so much venom, but Serephene had promised Leth that she'd protect Sol, and she'll do just that. He even put a mark on her.

She hated herself at that moment, and the fact that she couldn't think of any other way to help Sol. Her attempt probably angered him more, and she knew that when he calmed down, he would most likely want nothing to do with her. The thought made her cringe, but she had a job to do, and it was for her friend. Serephene cast off her illusion, the red disappearing into the school's setting. Since Sol was too tall, the only thing she could do was wrap her arms around his waist as held on as if her life depended on it, but since she lacked physical strength, he could probably escape her hold on him.

"Sol," she murmured, struggling to keep her emotions out of her voice. She needed to keep her composure if she was going to help another person. "You're not alone. I'm here, remember? I know you've had your own hard times, but Leth told me to protect you. I know I can't do that, and I don't know why he chose me." She hesitated, sensing that Sol was feeling an emotion, one close to slight confusion, as if he was at a loss. "Don't be so hard on yourself. You deserve just as much freedom and happiness as I do." Serephene felt her eyes water, which was the last thing she wanted. She chided herself before continuing. "Come on, Sol. We'll sort this out together. That's what friends do."

(Hi, I'm back~Sorry for the long wait. :D )

"Emily!" Rayu called, looking for his friend. Where did he...oops, she, run off to?

He ran to the nearest room and pushed the door open, only finding an empty classroom. "It's hard to believe that Oct...Emily doesn't have teleportation powers," he muttered, closing the door and opening the next one.

Slumping in her arms, he fell to his knee's he had been such a jerk, she was only trying to protect him, how come he was like this. Leth chose Serephene because she was weak, it was what Sol needed, he needed something to protect, thats how you protect one that cant protect himself, have him protect something else. He slumped against serephene and pulled her close, he knew this was weird for them just having met only a couple hours ago, but he could not help himself. "ok sereph.....huh.... I got your nickname" he chuckled a bit as his heart calmed down, his voice returning to its soft tone " next time ... please dont try to calm me with something fake.... I think your smile and hug will just do it" he said this with truth ringing through everything else, her smile alone seemed to melt away his anger and frustration's.

It was not just her weakness that helped sol, it was the way she acted, the way she saw things, it made him calm to think about it. Standing up, he turned to the new girl and smiled before turning back to serephene " c'mon lets catch up to Emily... or the other version" he said this with urgency, he did not care what gender that person was, he did not want to loose a friend, he did not want o loose serephene, he planned to stay with her as long as he could, until he did something to make her run away, and even then he would try to get her back.

Serephene caught Sol as he slumped again, and she dropped into a crouch, as she couldn't hold his weight up, since she was physically weak. She blinked at the nickname Sol called her, not that she minded--no one has ever called her anything besides her real name. His tone softened as asked her not to calm him with something fake, and that her smile and hug would do it. She stiffened a bit, even if his words made her happy. She could hug, yes, but it's quite awkward since it was her first time doing so, and she can't smile...if she did, no one would notice. This was why she was always seen as someone cold-hearted and unfeeling.

Serephene stood up as Sol did, and he turned to her, suggesting they find Emily. She nodded, and followed Sol down the hall, happy that her friend was okay, and that he had recovered enough to search for Emily himself, making her smile a little brighter than before.

Emily was now occasionally watching her watch. "Still 56 more minutes." She set down the book and started drawing pictures on the old chalkboard. "Gotta pass the time somehow. She could now sense people getting closer to the room she was in. "Damn. I guess I'll let them find me." She sits back down in the chair and gets back to reading.

Rayu pushed open the 7th door in the hall to find Oct...Emily in a chair, reading casually. "Having fun?" he joked, sitting down across from him...her... He still wasn't used to...Emily's ability, and he knows it might take him a while. "Can you teleport? I just thought you did, the way you disappeared so quickly."

Emily drops the book, "I can't teleport, I'm just good at disappearing. " She giggles at her joke, "How are the others doing?" She asks trying to stop the conversation from going to her becoming a girl. "Did Sol calm down, is anybody hurt?"

Rayu sighed, suddenly tired, and the first class of the day didn't even start yet. "I don't know. I left when Sol broke Serephene's illusion. I didn't like the tension there." He looked up. "Besides, I had to find you, since you walked like an Egyptian to escape." He cracked a smile.

"Illusion? So that's what power Serephene has along with water powers." She laughs at his last remark, "It was the only dance that I could think of the aloud me to move in a horizontal direction." She laughs silently

"The only powers I know Serephene has are ice and illusions." Rayu laughs a bit. "And I can't dance at all. Don't ask," he adds quickly, his words breaking off into a humored tone.

"Yeah." She puts the book down on the bookshelf. "I think I'm going to check on the others, they must be worried about me." She gets up from the chair and leaves the classroom. Leaving Rayu alone. "First day of school, first class hasn't even started, and all of this has happened." She murmured under her breath as she walks down the hall looking for the others.

Walking was not really needed as they walked past a dor that opened, sol turned to see that it was emily... or was it really emily, was kt a guy. He felt odd just standing there so he took a step towards her. "So...... im sorry for freaking out on you, I just... the guy thing and turning into a girl kinda flipped me upside down" a hint of red was in his deep blue eyes, his tone was soft knoe, and he felt less pissed off, he tried to imagine it from jer.... his view, must suck turning into a girl each time you touch water, thinking about it made him blush "sereph....... this is odd. My head Hurts just thinking about it." He turns back to emily "what is it like.... I mean losing your ...." he did not even want to mention it.

Serephene just placed a hand gently on Sol's arm. "I never knew," she admitted. She looked at Emily. "I'm glad you're okay, though. And sorry about the ice and water...." Serephene looked away, finding sudden interest in the floor pattern.

"It's fine. I'm pretty sure it freaked out quite a lot of people." She says laughing. He hears the last question and stops laughing. "Never thought of it, never want to." Emily says trying to get the question out of her head. "You guys ready to go to class?" She says walking off back to the classroom.

Kanari took a few steps back, leaning herself against one of the shattered window frames, using her powers to prevent herself from falling through. Repressing her curiosity for now she tried to analyze the situation, the source of the tremors seemed to be Sol, who had recovered and had gone looking for Octavius, who's secret seemed to be out. Deciding not to intrude she headed back into class, taking a seat across from Tessa "Is everyday this insane?" Asking her as she sat, seriously beginning to question her choice of coming to this school.

Rayu got up from his seat to follow Emily out. "Everyone is safe?" he asked the two as he passed them. "I wonder how we should get that cleaned up, though..." He shook his head and waved shortly. "I'll see you guys in class." Then he followed Emily down the hallway.
