He turned over and groaned. "She was moping around about something. I don't know what though." He sat up, rubbing his back.

Megan looked at jace. "Are you cold you can have the blanket if you want." She started to slide it off her shoulders.

He shook his hand at her. "No no, I'm fine." He stood up, running his fingers through his messy hair.

 

[midnightrose]

Megan didn't listen and threw it at him anyway." Take it I don't want it." She said as she laid down on the ground.

"Hmpf." He hummed, feeling defeated. He wrapped the blanket around him and leaned against the wall. "Did you sleep well, doll face?"

 

[midnightrose]

"I didn't sleep at all." She said while looking at the ceiling. "Someone had to keep watch plus my leg was bothering me."

 

[WhyNotRP]

"You could've just woken me up you know. I could've kept you company. I didn't have the best of dreams anyway." He said, sitting down on the ground with the blanket still wrapped around him. He leaned against the wall behind him as he looked over at Megan.

"Sorry." Megan sighed and looked over at him. "Are you okay?" She sat up and leaned back on her arms

 

[WhyNotRP]

"Don't worry about me, love." He gave her a reassuring smile. "I've gotten used to it. Bad dreams I mean." He shrugged, running his fingers through his hair again, trying to fix it back to its style from yesterday.

"Same." She mumbled. She laughed a little at his attempt to fix his hair. "Come here I'll help you." She said while patting the ground in front of her.

He huffed and pushed himself up off the ground, trotting towards her. He sat down in front of her and smiled.

"Meg, check your stiches, I might need to remove them," Lilly said, looking at her leg with a slight concern.

 

[midnightrose]

Megan gave him a half smile back. "Be careful and watch my leg." She said as she slightly pulls him to her and started fixing his hair. "Yes Lilly I will once I'm done."

"Sheesh, why do you know what the date of today is?" Lilly asked, pulling a photo out of her pocket.

Ky had stayed quiet for the entirety of arriving at the store with Lilly and Valkyrie. He even stayed quiet when the two readily got acquainted. Looking around, Ky had wondered away from the two and was walking through the store looking at things he hadn't seen while in the base. Since it was only his eyes that could express emotion, If one looked at them a the moment. They would see child-like curiosity.

"Make me look like a lady killer." He said with a grin. "Oh wait, I already am one." He chuckled.

"Oh hush." She said once she was done with his hair. "Finished." She flicked his forehead and started to check her stitches. "Um not sure if they should be taken out or not Lilly."

 

[FireMaiden]

"Yeah, let's give them one more day. But like seriously does anybody know the date? When I found the safe house directions it was May 9th."

 

[WhyNotRP]

"I don't know the date, maybe the new people do?" He said, leaning back and laying on the floor next to Megan.

"No clue lily." She said while laying her head on jace. "Sorry if this is weird. My head is starting to hurt."

 

[FireMaiden]

"I don't think Ky wou.... Wait, I know the date. May 15th," Lilly smiled. "This picture is my son's fourth birthday, the last one we celebrated together. It also happened to be my 21st birthday." Lilly smiled. "He got cake all over my mom and dad."

He smirked. "I don't mind." He said in a whisper. He closed his eyes, thinking aimlessly.

She slapped him playfully. "Don't smirk." She whispered to him. "Are you sure this isn't weird."she questioned
