Fantasy The Beginning Of The End(Open)

He stopped walking and let out a harsh breath. "No, I didn't happen to see the number on any uniforms. I'd rather not want to remember anything about them, okay? Thanks." He gave her a side glance before walking further down the street.
"Hand me the gun," Lilly asked. Most of the time, troops put there numbers on they're weapons. 336 was on her pistol, right above the safety. "Kaden, please, give me the rifle, I'll give it back once I check something," she out stretched her hand.

Chel barely saw two figures walking up the road. The wind was blowing her hair in her face and the snow was falling harder now. She held her pistol at her side. She was prepared if they were infected or military.

In one quick, smooth movement he slipped it off his back and put it on the ground. He walked up to a house and without a single word, he stepped inside.

He sat down at the table inside. He couldn't take it, he felt himself tearing apart. He tried to hide it, tried to push it away. The memory of the military spilled into his thoughts, corrupting him. He closed his eyes and ran his fingers through his hair, letting out a pained groan.

Chel saw one leave her sight. This time she ran up to the people. She held her gun tighter. When she noticed it was Lilly, she smiled. "Found you!" She yelled.

"Yeah, Hi Chel," Lilly said with a smile, but a concentrated face. She looked over the gun unilateral she found the three digit number she was looking for. "Fuck!" She yelled throwing the gun down. She turned to Chel. "Tell me what the fuck happened when the fucking military invaded the safe house!" She was shaking, furious. On the gun, above the saftey, we're the fated numbers that filed her rage. A familiar set of numbers. 336.

"They... Came. But I killed them. Why? Where's Kaden?" Chel asked, puzzled. She looked around, trying to find him. He's good at hiding... She thought to herself.

Kaden closed his eyes and let out another hoarse breath. He could feel his breaths picking up at the thought of the military and what happened with his sister. He looked down at the necklace for a short moment, and he reached for it. He ripped it off of his neck and threw it down onto the table. He cant do this. He cant suffer like this, he cant be around someone who's just like those other monsters. He dug his finger nail into his skin as he ran it over his head, then looked at the back door.

Without thinking, he ran for it and pushed it open, sprinting out the back and past the neighboring houses. He knew what he had to do. He took a turn and ran down the street, not even realizing how idiotic this revenge plan really was.

"He just ran the fuck by you. And trust me, my men don't go down easily. I know how I trained them. They were ready for anything." Lilly said, her anger only building. "Come on, let's go get your boyfriend before he gets himself killed," she said, running after Kaden. How stupid was he? One kid going up against the fucking military. "Well you coming?" Lilly called.

Hachi stumbled into a building that had obvious signs of have been used. A sudden noise sounded from a back room. staying silent, Hachi kept his back to the wall as he made his way to the back room that had a loading bay door sign. Before reaching the door, A sudden deafeningly loud gunshot rang out. Abandoning being silent, Hachi ran to and kicked open the door with his recently acquired pistol aimed at head height as he quickly looked around the large room. He immediately noticed that with the way the boxes were stacked one would be unable to hide. That just made it easier to spot the still smoking gun in the hands of a grown woman's body, whose head was now gone.

Beside the woman was what appeared to be a hastily scrawled note containing the rants of just another person who'd lost everything to the infected. as usual Hachi couldn't bring himself to care since he'd never had anything to lose to begin with. "you couldn't handle it either, huh?" He asked knowing there would be no answer. Hachi had seen a lot more deaths this way then he had before the outbreak. Going back outside the the room his emotionless face still it's always expressionless self. Didn't even change in the slightest even as he whispered an inaudible "it's over now, you're finally safe." to the woman's corpse.

No one not even Hachi could ever explain why he normally only showed a expressionless kindness towards those who died. Maybe it was nothing, but maybe it was his unconscious way of trying to show himself that he still had some level of 'humanity' left. A few minutes later, Hachi had found a shovel and dug a grave for the body and buried it. He marked the grave with a makeshift cross. Before Pulling the hood of his cloak over his head and with always blank face, He left to return to his temporary shelter. He boarded up the window He'd broken to get out and sat at his dead smoking fire that'd died out whilst he was gone. Pulling out a energy bar he looted from the dead woman, He ate as if nothing had ever happened.

He turned down an alley and ran up behind some houses. He heard of a rebel group that was going against the military, and he knew that if he wanted them dead that would be his best shot. They weren't anywhere near him, but he could care less. He just wanted to kill every last one of those asshats. He knew that if he was going to go the distance to find these people, he would need supplies. He opened the back door to a nearby house and rushed through it hastily, not wanting to waist even one second. His breaths picked up, and he felt himself feeling dizzy again. He leaned against a counter, running his fingers through his hair as he tried to calm his nerves a bit.

Chel face-palmed. She nodded and ran after Kaden. He was fast, but she could easily outrun him. He suddenly turned but she turned last minute, almost running into a fence. "Kaden! Stop!"

"Kaden, Please!" Lilly called, "I'm sorry for anything they did to you, I'm so fucking sorry, but running off on your own wont help anything!" Lilly felt a lump forming in her throat. If she wasn't careful, tears would fall, she didn't like crying, she almost never did. Not even when she lost her family. "Kaden... come on, we're your friends. We care about you and we don't want anything to happen to you."

Chel follwed him into where he was into the house and held him from behind. "You don't know what you're doing. Stop. You're just angry." Chel tried to calm him down and change his mind.

He ran his hand over his face, still feeling his breaths uneven. He should really stop and let himself calm down a bit, but he couldn't risk getting persuaded out of the idea. It was stuck in his head and he thought it was the best choice for him. He blocked Lilly and Chel's begging voices out as he threw his backpack over his shoulder again and headed for the front door.

"No! Stop! You don't know what you're doing! It doesn't work! It never works!" Chel screamed at him as he left her grip. She felt tempted to stab him in the arm to make him stop. She decided against it and felt tears begin to form.

Lilly went to the front door and opened it, pulling Kaden into a forced hug "Please, stop. You'll only make things worse." She let go and looked him in the eyes. "We want to help you, ok?" She said sweetly. She stepped in and closed the door behind her, "I know you aren't alright, so plans tell us, what's wrong,"

He looked away from Lilly and behind her, wracking his brain, searching for any positive thoughts. There was nothing. It was as if his mind was poured blank and the empty spaces were filled with poison. He looked at the nearly crying Chelsea and instantly looked to the floor. "I have to kill them." He said, stepping back, farther away from Lilly, shaking his head rapidly. "I-I have to." He ran his fingers through his hair and looked towards the front door.

Lilly grabbed his arm,"You can't do it alone!" She say firmly. "We can work together, I know there inner workings. I trained those men, and I'm sorry for what they did. Please, think this through,"

Chel, as a last resort, went up to Kaden and stared at him. "Kaden, we need you. I need you. You need you. Kaden, I love you. Please stop." She brushed tears from her face. "Revenge isn't it. I've tried. It never works. Please don't-" She couldn't finish because she was sobbing on his chest.

He closed his eyes, not wanting to look at the pleading Lilly and not wanting to have to hear the sobbing Chel who was attached to his chest. He, after a few minutes, finally spoke.

"I'm still going, and i'm not letting you guys come along." He said, opening his eyes. "But," he paused for a moment. "I will explain what the military has done to me." He said, letting out a shaky breath.

Lilly smiled softly. "Revenge really doesn't work. You'll still be angry, and upset, you might even loose who you are. After it you just feel empty." She sighed. "And boy, if you think we're letting you go alone, your are dead wrong." Lilly let go of Kaden's wrist and waited to hear about what happened.

"It doesn't matter what they've done! Don't you get it? Can you even fucking hear me? Hello?! Kaden?! I'm sobbing on you right now?! Fuck it. I'm done." Chel pushed Kaden away from her. "Go do an impossible mission. I don't care anymore because your not even here right now!"

He looked at Lilly, then at Chel. "You don't understand, Chelsea. I'm never going to be the same again, its just not possible." He spoke calmly, almost as if he'd been telling himself that for a while. He believed his words more than anything else, he believed that he was broken and he believed that he wasn't fixable.

"Oh don't you start now, he needs us weather he likes it or not. You need to get ahold of your self," Lilly said. "We're gonna help him," she firmly finished, sitting Chel down on a near by chair. And waited for Kaden.

Chel just sobbed into her sweatshirt; anger mixed with sadness. "Your only thinking of yourself, Kaden. We've lost people too." She let herself be sat down but just plugged her ears.
