Realistic or Modern The Academy for the Unusually Gifted

Suddenly, Alden appeared beside Ken. "Do you know where Maddy is? Because i can't find her.." He looked down on Ken with a calm face, but inside he was pissed. He owed his sister his life and if she was hurt he would damage himself a lot.

Oliver rolled his eyes at Gage. "Jeez, Gage, maybe you should go sit by yourself if you want to be alone so much." He then turned to Amy and tried to keep a placid look on his face. "Honestly, I don't know why I'm here."

Ken started to get hungry, and took out his lunch from his backpack. He had some Onigiri and yakisoba bread, and some water. He quickly ate his lunch, and beckoned is sister to his table.

"Why're you here, then, Amy?" asked Ken. His sister Jen sat down at the table, and quietly ate her lunch.

Amy just nods and sits there quietly thinking wether to tell them why she was here or not. She thought better of it to just keep it to herself as she watched some people begin to eat and she quickly went and got her own meal before returning to the table. She was drawn from her thoughts as she returned to the table and looked at Ken. "Oh I sort of killed an entire diner full of people with out spilling any blood." She says.

Alden poked Ken, "Hello? Could you answer me?" He crossed his hands, trying not to seem rude. He hated being rude and impolite because it reminded him of his father

"Hmm? Who're you?" asked Ken. He hadn't heard him earlier since he was busy asking his sister to come to his table.

(lol, ask again, Ken didn't hear you.)

Ken looked at Amy and said "I can do that too! :D I murdered my therapist, just by controlling him and strangling him. His ideas were stupid."

"Oh yeah, are you the brother of Maddie?" asked Ken, reading Alden's mind.

(Lol, NOW he chooses to read it.)

(I feel so dumb!!)

Alden just looked at him, "Do you know where Maddy is?" He asked politely, hoping that he did not sound demanding

"You guys are all crazy." Oliver grimaced, now feeling even more uneasy about being put in this asylum-like place. Thou, he knew he never did anything wrong, so he couldn't understand why the police dragged him from his home for this. He wasn't like all these other crazies that actually needed some series help, or at least be locked away forever.

Amy nods as she looks at Gage. "Uh huh." She said smiling a tiny bit at how Gage was impressed not really paying attention to Ken. "I can manipulate others and my own blood." She said as as she bit her thumb hard drawing blood to demonstrate to Gage that it was true. A good chunk of blood slowly came from the bite mark and she slowly manipulated it into all sorts of shapes and objects.

Gage's eyes got even bigger and he leaned closer to Amy, wondering how such a small girl could do all that, then he heard Oliver and rolled his eyes, "Ignore him, he's just a pussy."

"I am not!" Oliver puffed childishly. "I just don't want to see bl-blood... Where we're supposed to be eating!"

Amy couldn't help but laugh at what Gage had said as she continued to show him. "I can do this to other peoples blood and kill them without even making it leave there body. It would probably get messy I made to much blood go to one place."

"So hypothetically, you could kill anyone in this room at any moment and no one would know?" Gage went back to eating, still listening intently.

Listening to the conversation between the cute redhead and the guys, Lane gagged slightly and easily smelled the blood. She tried to keep eating but her stomach regected and she tasted metallic fill in the back of her mouth... speaking of blood.

She only sat a table away but was close enough to feel slightly disturbed and intrigued. What would drive these people to find pride in killing others?

She didnt understand it at all. Spitting the black colored blood into a napkin and wiping her mouth, she quickly chugged some juice to rid the flavor from her mouth and looked to them.

"I.. have to agree with him. Its an impressive power but sort of hard to eat when thinking of."

Amy nods. "Uh huh." She said before making the blood disappear back into the bite mark. "I don't know why I did what I did that day. I just wanted to see what I could do and I sort of went overboard." She said looking over at Lane. "I don't think we've met. I'm Amy." She said. This place was really making her come out of her quiet introverted shell.

Wiping the last bit of the black substance from her white lips and hiding away the napkin, she gave the redhead a large smile. She was really quite pretty. Green eyes. Really red hair, skin light but not ghostly. Whomever colored her in had to be an artist.

"Nice to meet you. Call me Lane. And it wasnt overboard. Its hard enough to be accepted, so it would be sad if you had to hold back surrounded by your own kind." She gestured to her hand.

"Just dont damage your skin, please."

Amy smiles and shakes her head. "Don't worry I don't plan on damaging myself at all." Amy said as she looked down at the bite mark on her thumb. "Nice to meet you by the way Lane. Well that's a first for someone to say that it wasn't overboard. I never meant to kill them. It's sort of fun toying with others blood a little." Amy explained as she began to eat.

[You guys that are doing one-liners really need to slow down. Last time I checked, we were on page 8. You're also spamming me with a crazy amount of notifications.]

we'll go down in history - remember me for centuries.

Patrick had been standing in the doorway of the cafeteria, watching the students introduce themselves to each other, enjoy the feast that had been put out, and mingle about. He even noticed Miss Fex enter, accompanied by a nurse, looking in better shape than he expected. He could've sworn he had a smile break out across his lips, at least for a second. Hopefully, this day won't turn out as much of a disaster as he had predicted. Or, as a disaster at all. He reminded himself that he still had to escort the students to their new dormitories, and allow them to tour the academy for themselves. He was hoping that during their free time, he would be able to escape off to his own office. With the hallways being used by peculiarly dangerous children, his own private space seemed like the only safe place.

You shouldn't be speaking like that about your own students, he told himself, leaving the oak doors of the cafeteria behind, and making his way to a random table with not too many students already there. He did refer to himself as their guardian, that now looking back, seems like a pretty big thing to say. He - nor Pete - had ever had children of their own, so he had never actually experienced what parenthood felt like. But being a caregiver of an academy of students seemed close enough, right?

Before he sat down at a table consisting of a few students - a few he hadn't spoken to yet, and he was frankly too tired to do a mental background check on each of them; at least Delaney was there - and yanked the black bottle he had shoved into his back pocket out. He took a seat, nodding gently at each of the students there in turn. Silently, he tugged off the cork out of the top of the bottle, shook off the beads, charms and gems that were draped around the bulb-like surface of the bottle, and took a hungry drink of the liquid inside.
