Yo! How does Lieutenant Conway want discipline handled? Given that she is an officer now, administering disciplinary action would fall to Marlon.

Marlon would follow a pretty traditional method. Would see that the transgressor is thoroughly smoked, followed by a length of duties, as well as counseling. (This of course to take place after combat and safe at base) All to be done to get the message across to not do it again.

Running the transgressor extra hard. A relative kindness in to avoid docking of pay or demotion.

Would Conway object to that?

Well be careful not to stare. It's bad manners. You dont eyeball someone getting punished unless you want to join them.

Lol, not the most desirable aspect of the job. Especially when it comes to disciplining folk who were once your peers. And who, for the most part, you still consider them as such. But unfortunately, letting it slide in the base whose boss doesn't like us, could end very badly for us.

Also! As what normally happens, sure you might get teased about it, but once you are disciplined, you go back to normal. And it's just as easy to redeem yourself as it is to fall.

You could be the laziest most worthless member of a squad, and in two months that's all forgotten and praised for being a prime example and the past wont be held against you.

That's not where I'm coming from with my statement. Instead, it's like this. Look back on Gabi and Ryuko's history together. Their dead squadron the Jungle Rats. The number of conversations they have already had about Ryuko's lack of discipline. Or the number for times Ryuko has already come close to death.

Marlon and Ryuko's relationship is different than Gabi and Ryuko's relationship. If Marlon has to knock Ryuko down a peg, well that's completely professional. It would hurt Gabi if she had to do it, so she is glad it is not her responsibility.

I imagine it would be kind of similar if Conway had to rightfully discipline Marlon.

Overall, and depending on the outfit, I could not agree more if the soldier in question is willing to do what's right. Attitude is everything. =)

And with a called shot? Say, for example... the bay should the doors open to take retreating blue, or drop more.
