Another question, is return fire allowed if I successfully dodge the hit?

Not an option at this point, since you have already declared your dodge. But in the future, there is the option of a simultaneous attack where you forgo any effort to evade and just say, "Go ahead and hit me, I can take it!" and return fire. This attack cannot be dodged by either person unless you roll the magic 1-4 on the roll, then you miss no matter what.Another question, is return fire allowed if I successfully dodge the hit?
@Dannigan is there a specific target you are going for, or just a general communications hash-up?
Ok. You can go for a general mess, but it will be a slight penalty to your Sensory Systems skill roll. Still want to go for it?Whatever gives the most "bang for the broadcast." Would that be general communications? If the Reds and Greens can't command the Blues, then that confusion might really work in our favor.
It's a preemptive measure knowing how Ryuko tends go off on her own.D., I agree with my character. Ryuko wouldn't be in a position to get shot in the first place if Ryuko didn't charge out and make herself a big target. Maybe she should be a tanker instead? Blow up whatever she wants without the Ajax's ability to fly into friendly fire? Just a thought.
If they fail their piloting roll, it is very likely that the Bioroid will be knocked off the platform, at least until the enemy starts to develop strategies and equipment to try and prevent that from happening.PPC-related question. Psychie If the strike hits and fails to destroy the bioroid, do they save against being knocked off of their platform or does a failed save mean they hold on to their platform and get knocked back X number of feet? Or something else?
Seatbelts, yo.If they fail their piloting roll, it is very likely that the Bioroid will be knocked off the platform, at least until the enemy starts to develop strategies and equipment to try and prevent that from happening.
Lol perhaps. But that doesn't mean Marlon will quit. I have expected as much, and should she die, it wont be for his lack of trying.Right. And I feel an unnecessary one. (incoming vent)
My problem isn't so much that Ryuko's running off annoys my character (instead it worries the hell out of her - something I don't like to roleplay - and Gabi has been starting to drift away from Reckless Ryuko as a result - there's only so long you can try to help an undisciplined glory-hound who refuses to listen to reason). My real problem is that it messes with my fun as a player. Here's someone who knows their character is a liability to the team yet will not change their character's behavior even in the face of death. Ryuko is well-aware that she's nearly been killed a few times, but what does she do? The same old thing and no one can talk her out of it.
I'm not saying this doesn't make for decent roleplaying; there are definitely people like this in Real Life. But this is Psychie's very first game in the Game Master seat (that I know of) and no one wants to be "That Player-Killing GM" especially on their first game. In my games, I use Fumble Charts. If you fumble and critically-hit your ally, then that's what happens (because it happens for the bad guys too - my players can tell you). I let the dice decide what happened and I play from there. But I don't think that's going to happen here (and that's O.K. if you don't mind my venting).
Also, I'm not saying that Ryuko should just suddenly become a disciplined soldier everyone can rely on; there are just different ways of doing it that don't annoy people (like her character could ask first. Ryuko: "Hey, Conway! Can I rush 'em this time?! Please?!" Conway: "It's O.K. this time looks good. Go get 'em!" See, I think that's playing alongside your fellow players. I think everyone has fun that way.).
So, unless the outrageous or unforeseen takes place (or both), I just feel Ryuko will continue to irk people in and out of game regardless. Too bad for sensitive players like me, but oh well! I'll just continue to occasionally vent about it like this, get it out of my system, and continue to focus on the fun (which I personally otherwise have plenty of in our game here!)
Life goes on. =)
Sorry I missed this earlier. No, you are fine. If not, I would have posted that. Thank you for asking, though.@Psychie Will a turn or roll be needed to reset the PPC?
