Ren is just a lost puppy that Carmen did not want but now she'll be stuck with him. She dared to speak to him 1 time and it was all over for her. Of all the people to find in her company it had to be the only other thief

Good morning! I just realized since they’re all going to be traveling together, it’s going to be hectic when it’s time for bed lol what kind of sleeping habits/routines do your characters have? Do they toss and turn? Snore? Talk in their sleep?

Carmen sometimes has nightmares about her past, there was a scene in the show where she is dreaming that she in one of the tests that Shadowsan gave them, to see if they could pickpocket a coat that he was wearing in under two minutes. Carmen failed the test even though she swiped every pocket. She woke up in a cold sweat and shouted, "The coat was empty, wasn't it!?"
Player contacted her immediately after, asking if she was having "another one of those dreams", so it seems like those are regular for her.

And I think Linkle sleeps normally lol, maybe she'd be an early bird bc she lives on a farm.

But it sounds like she could sympathize with Aku nonetheless.

Aku’s childhood is less than pleasant I’ll leave it there. At least my Aku has nightmares so yeah sleep is troublesome for him. He can be up and just be wandering about.

Oof that hurts. Gintoki occasionally has nightmares about the war he was in, so it'll be interesting to see how some of the characters cope with their own nightmares once they wake up. I wonder if any of the magic adjacent characters can help with that?

Pyralis has a massively messed up circadian rhythm. So he's mostly nocturnal, just how his body kinda works. He'll probably take night watch most often lol.
As for when he does sleep, he tends to be a side/stomach sleeper and sleeps fairly deeply. But that might be because he tends to work himself to exhaustion lol

Can't say either of my characters have any lil sleeping habits. Ren may sleep early since Morgana drilled that into him, but maybe not. In the manga he does have morning workout and always has a coffee afterwards, so he may just get up early for that. Not much to say on poor Eupha though

Yeah, her nightmares sort of stem from seeing her past in a different light (knowing what she could have ended up doing if she DID become a proper thief for V.I.L.E), or feeling she still has something to prove. She says after she wakes up that she knows she was the best pickpocket in her class. But it still bothered her that she failed the exam.

We as the player never really see Nagito sleeping or visit his cabin while he is in it, but I can give a pretty good idea of what is sleeping habits are.

One of Komaeda's illnesses can cause EDS (Excessive Daytime Sleepiness) and insomnia while the other causes fatigue and night sweats.
During one of his Island Mode events, if you suggest napping in Jabberwock Park, it is considered the best option. In response, he will suggest a tree with shade so they can quote: "Stare into space for a while."
During another event, while at the amusement park, if you suggest going inside the haunted house, he will refuse and say quote: "I already feel fear in my daily life." Which could suggest he possibly has nightmares as he did grow up going through several traumatic incidents brought on by his luck cycle. Or he generally doesn't feel safe due to these incidents.


The most upfront answer I give is Nagito probably isn't sleeping and is taking naps throughout the day. Which could explain why he sometimes disappears from the character's sight.

Though it would be funnier if they both mess up bc they both had a funni zero brain moment, especially since Carmen is normally the smartest (kinda hard not to be when you're working with Zack and Ivy). Ren just looks at her with the most deadpan look like "Are you for real right now???" Joker can either be the smartest in the room or close to the dumbest. Very much depends on if he wants to amp up the chaotic stupid in him

Best part is they also have similar ideals: not wanting to resort to killing, stealing to help people, trying to end some form of corruption/bad. Yeah these two definitely are a perfect duo. Plus from how I see it they also could benefit each other in unique ways. Carm is probably more crafty and tool heavy while Joker has the stronger style of combat. I can see a moment where they need to steal something but getting in is difficult so Joker becomes the bait while Carmen sneaks in to get what they need

Interesting parallel to Aku’s past tbh I can’t wait to see more of Carmen in the future. Atsu’s player and me if all things go well.. Aku may get major character development in good ways
